Hello my fellow readers. Hope you all are doing great. This right here actually surprises me. This is the fiftieth episode of Crystal Rainbow. I've wrote fifty episodes for this and it makes me happy and glad to see how far I've come. Canon had fifty-two episodes in it's first season and we're almost at the halfway point of Season three. Keep your eyes out because this train hasn't reach it's destination yet.

Enjoy.

Episode 50: Heart And Mind

November 6th 2:00 p.m.

Reaching her hand out, Lepidolite pressed her finger onto the button. The door opened, allowing her and her sister Charoite to enter inside just as the door closed behind them. Turning her head Lepidolite locked her eyes onto a block of buttons before pressing one. Taking a step back both sisters stood side by side as they began to ascend.

Within her hand Lepidolite held a bouquet as she placed her eyes on the digital numbers changing by the second. With each number change her grip on the bouquet increased. Her teeth pierced the bottom of her lip as her eyes began to shake. This was inevitable. Sooner or later she had to do this, although...how it was going to play out worried her the most. It's been a while since...it happened, and she doubted this would make a difference, but at the very least she had to try. She's been in these situations before, but...this was far different than the rest.

Charoite turned her eye to her sister, observing the immediate state she's placed in. Without a word she reached her hand out, placing it into her sister's before intertwining her fingers.

"I'm here." Charoite said softly.

Placing her eyes onto her sister Lepidolite released her teeth from her lip as they stretched into a small smile. "Thank you for coming with me." She added.

"No-one should face this alone. Don't blame yourself for this." Charoite said.

Lepidolite nodded. A loud beep soon shook the sisters, making them turn their eyes to see the number of their destination. The door soon opened up and they slowly walked out. Closing her eyes Lepidolite sucked in some air and softly breathed it out of her mouth. "Let's go." She added as her smile vanished.

Releasing their hands from each other the sister began walking. Down the hall they took a right turn and found their destination. Going up to it Lepidolite raised her free hand out and placed it on the door.

*Knock Knock*

Pulling her hand away the sisters watched it open up. On the other side of the door was Julia Forza Adornare, only...her hair was unkempt and frazzled, bags laid under her eyes, and all she wore was peach-colored undergarments.

By her appearance the sisters were a bit taken back, though they weren't too shocked and didn't expect her to wear anything for guests. Looking at her now only made more guilt rise within Lepidolite, reminding her of what was lost to Julia, but making her face the reality that comes with what her and her family do.

"Hi, Julia." Lepidolite said softly. "I brought you some flowers." She added, handing out the bouquet.

Without a word Julia reached her hand out and took the bouquet. Raising it to her nose she took a sniff and her lips slowly stretched. "Grazie." She added as she moved to the side, "Si accomodi."

Walking into her home a small gasp exited out of the sisters. From corner to corner of the apartment there were various paintings drawn ripped apart. Multiple sculptures destroyed with their parts laying around the floor. Several dishes barely washed. Clothes laying around. And several empty bottles all over the couch.

"Mi despiace. I was going to clean up, but...I did not see a point to it anymore." Julia said as she sat down on her couch.

"Julia..." Lepidolite said speechlessly. "I...I'm so sorry. If we had known what would happen we would've done everything we could to-" She added before getting cut off.

"No!" Julia yelled, startling the sisters. "Do not blame yourself for this, Lepidolite. You could not have known this would transpire. I only blame myself."

"Julia, you shouldn't do that." Charoite said.

"I will. And I shall until I can no longer live on this planet." Julia replied as her eyes began to shake. Small sobs exited out of her mouth while she raised her hands to cover her face. "I should have gone with him... I...I...I should have...I..." She added as more sobs left her mouth.

Jogging up to her Lepidolite sat down next to Julia, wrapping her arms around her. Julia didn't resist and placed her head onto Lepidolite's shoulder as she continued to sob.

Charoite watched and calmly walked over to the two and sat down on the opposite side of the couch. She then raised her arms, wrapping them around Julia's waist while softly placing her head on her shoulder.

More and more sobs left Julia's mouth as large waterfalls of tears exited her eyes. Right here and now in front of the sisters was a woman who had lost her husband to the hands of their own kind. This is not the first time either of them comforted someone through the actions of their race or witness someone having a complete breakdown at the loss of their loved ones. The reverse has happened to them as well, showcasing how much they've grown to love aspects of humans.

Releasing all of her pain onto the sisters Julia soon raised her head from Lepidolite's shoulder and wiped her eyes. "*sniffle* I miss him so much. Everyday I wake up from bed to see no-one next to me. Il mio cuore e spezzato."

"I am truly sorry, Julia. Believe me, I know all too well what it's like to feel loss." Lepidolite said softly. "And I don't have any right in saying this...but in time, it will get better. If you wish, let me and my sister stay with you for a while."

Julia blinked at her as she sniffled again. "No, no. That's alright. It is very kind of you to offer such a suggestion, but I do not wish to keep you away from what you need to do."

"It's no trouble at all." Charoite assured. "We came here to see you and we want be by your side or as long as you want us."

Julia slowly turned her head to Charoite, seeing the kunoichi smiling at her. It did seem a bit much to keep them with her, but...she truly didn't want to be alone right now. This was the best thing for her to have at the moment. With a silent nod Julia accepted their company right as the sister carefully pulled her up from the couch.

"Good. Now, I suggest we go out for a while. Explore the wonders of Italy." Lepidolite said.

"Now?" Julia asked.

"Yes, now." Charoite replied. "But first, you need a shower, some clothes, and a little makeover."

Right as Julia opened her mouth the Rainbow sister held her hands and guided her to her bedroom. The very first step to her emotional recovery begins.

November 7th 6:00 p.m.

On one side of the Sky Arena Kameron and Charoite stood side by side while locking their eyes onto Steven and Connie, whom stood on the opposite side. Over at the stands Lepidolite, Pearl, and Garnet sat down, placing their attention on the four individuals. Garnet herself had decided to witness some training going on with their newest member, plus the opportunity to witness Stevonnie again was more than enough to have her come along.

"Connie." Kameron said, gaining her attention. "Me and sister have been taking it over and today we thought should go a little different than usual."

"What do you mean?" Connie asked.

"Today, Iolite is gonna help train the both of you." Charoite replied.

"Who's Iolite?" Steven asked.

"Here's a hint." Kameron replied. He pointed at himself, then pointed at Charoite before placing his hands together and intertwining his fingers together.

Steven's eyes blinked right as his pupils turned into stars and his lips slowly stretched into a large smile. "Show us! Please, please, please show us!" He yelled.

With a small sigh Kameron nodded as he and Charoite gained some distance from each other. All eyes were now placed on them. Turning their bodies Kameron raised his right arm as his Gemstone began to illuminate a green light. Charoite placed both hands on her hips as she softly smiled at her brother while her Gemstone illuminated an indigo light. Auras of their respected colors surrounded their bodies and continued to grow. Kameron lowered his goggles onto his neck and began to walk toward Charoite. With a small hum Charoite walked toward her little brother, adding some sways into her hips.

Coming in close both siblings raised their arms out, wrapping them around one another. Charoite's eye softened at the sight of her little brother as their bodies made contact. Soon after...they placed their forehead onto one another while increasing the embrace. Kameron's lips stretched into a small smile as he and his sister were engulfed into light. Shortly after, Iolite was brought back into the world.

Opening her eye she took notice of Steven and Connie staring at her with widened eyes. Turning her head to the stands she saw Lepidolite simply smiling at her while Pearl dropped her jaw and Garnet showcased the biggest smile she had ever made.

"Hi, Iolite. I'm Steven. It's nice to meet you." Steven said while approaching her.

Steven raised his hand out her. With a soft smile Iolite reached her hand out, placing it into Steven's before they shook. "It's nice to meet you too."

"Wow." Connie said in awe. "You're so beautiful."

Iolite hummed before she released her hand from Steven and walked up to Connie. "That's so sweet of you. It's not often Kameron and Charoite bring me out, but when they do it feels so good to see the world." She added. Bending over her face then got dangerously close to Connie's, making her cheeks burn, "Are you ready to have a good time?"

Small stutters left Connie's mouth. Without a response she quickly nodded.

Another hum left Iolite's mouth as she lifted herself up and walked away from the kids. Getting some distance from them her eye softened as she raised up her left hand. Lowering her third and pinky finger and pulling up her index and middle finger Iolite's eye began to glow indigo as she locked her legs in place. In a matter of seconds five indigo crystals erupted from the ground, surrounding Steven and Connie. Cracks started to spread among them from top to bottom, but as they soon broke apart five indigo crystal replicas of Iolite emerged.

"I've never seen this before." Steven said out loud.

"Yeah, this is a first for me too. But nothing we can't handle together." Connie replied, lowering her body and gripping her sword.

Steven nodded and summoned his shield.

One of the replicas dashed ahead, coming up to the duo at quickening speeds. Getting toward a certain distance the replica leaped into the air, lifting it's leg up and bringing it right onto Steven. Bringing up his shield the replica's leg made contact. Small grunts exited his mouth as his legs stood their ground right as he pushed the replica off. Watching it descend from midair Steven spun his body around, throwing his shield. The replica pulled it's body back, making the shield miss it's target. Landing back on the ground the replica lifted it's head right as Connie came in, slashing her sword onto it and cutting it in half.

Four remained. Two of the replicas glanced at one another and summoned short blades from their knuckles. Rushing towards Connie the replicas thrusted their blades at her, making her bring her sword up. On contact the sheer force pushed Connie back and making her collide with Steven, pushing both of them to the ground.

"You okay?" Steven asked.

"Yeah. They're pretty strong." Connie replied.

The duo picked themselves up from the ground right as the two replicas were coming in. Thrusting their blades out again Steven stepped in front of Connie, sending his right hand into the air and summoning a bubble. Each blade pierced the bubbles, causing cracks to rupture out, but the sheer force wasn't strong enough to break it completely. Narrowing his eyes Steven clenched his fist, piercing the replicas with his bubble spikes. Cracks began to spread through each replica until they ultimately shattered apart.

The spiked bubble soon disappeared, allowing Steven to lower his arm and place his attention onto the last two replicas.

Turning their heads the replicas glanced at one another and nodded. One of the replicas raised it's hand, forming it into a blade and piercing it right through the other replica. Gasps exited out of Steven and Connie, witness such a horrific sight right as the pierced replica shattered into pieces. The lone replica raised both of it's arms out as a large indigo aura surrounded it's body. The shattered pieces of the others started glowing indigo as well and began to rise from the ground. One by one each piece made it's way to the remaining replica, placing themselves onto it and covering it's body. The last piece soon placed itself onto the replica and began to shift itself, reconstructing it's body until the indigo aura dimmed. The aura then faded and from it certain parts of the replica looked a lot thicker than before.

"Whoa. It's the final boss." Steven said in awe.

"I think Stevonnie is gonna be needed here." Connie replied.

Both kids then started to dance quickly right until they went back to back, getting engulfed into a pink light. Their bodies soon melded together and as the light started to dim Stevonnie emerged with sword and shield in hand.

"We're gonna give it our all, Iolite." Stevonnie called out.

"I hope you do." Iolite replied.

From it's side the remaining replica slowly brought out a long blade. Without warning the replica rushed at them, thrusting it's weapon at them. Raising up their shield Stevonnie narrowed their eyes right as the blade impacted the shield.

*CLANK*

With sheer force waves of the blade clashing echoed all around the arena. Stevonnie's shield managed to hold on right before they pushed the replica back. Raising their blade Stevonnie burst toward the replica, lifting their blade up high and swinging it down hard. Turning it's head the replica lifted it's blade, guarding itself from the attack. Gritting their teeth Stevonnie added more pressure onto her blade, making the replica's blade lower. Unfortunately...it wasn't enough. The replica suddenly pushed itself up, knock Stevonnie back. In the blink of an eye the replica charged ahead, lifting it's blade up and sending down onto it's target.

Watching it come Stevonnie lifted their arm, making the blade hit the shield once more. Grunts exited their mouth while the replica began to put in some pressure onto them. More and more pressure was added, causing Stevonnie to fall onto one knee as cracks began to form onto their shield.

'Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy! What are we gonna do!? If we don't do something soon that blade is gonna go right through us!' Stevonnie thought to themselves. They then quickly shook their heads, 'No, no. Iolite wouldn't allow that. If something goes wrong she'll call it off. No! That's not gonna help us. This is training, but in a real fight we don't get moments to asset a situation. We gotta act fast!'

Narrowing their eyes Stevonnie gritted their teeth and pushed themselves upwards. Knocking the replica away Stevonnie quickly swung her sword, slashing the replica right in half. As they did Stevonnie's eyes immediately shot open, watching the replica fall and break into multiple pieces. They won... They defeated each of Iolite's replicas...but...something was wrong. Tears slowly erupted from their eyes and began to fall onto their cheeks. Their shield disappeared while their sword dropped from their hand. Lastly, Stevonnie fell onto their knees, keeping their eyes on their defeated foe.

A gasp exited out of Iolite's mouth as she quickly approached them. Lepidolite, Pearl, and Garnet got up from the stands, running up to Stevonnie without a second.

"Whoa, whoa. What's wrong?" Iolite asked, falling onto one knee near Stevonnie.

Raising their head Stevonnie turned their eyes onto the others, looking at them with concerned expressions. "We... We're sorry."

"Why are you apologizing?" Lepidolite asked gently.

"We... *heavy breathing* We didn't..." Stevonnie replied. More heavy breathes exited their mouth as they reached for their clothing and gripped onto it tightly. More and more tears fell from their eyes until they were engulfed into a pink light and split apart, bringing back Steven and Connie. Once split Steven grabbed his shirt, continuing to breath heavily with endless tears falling from his eyes.

Just when someone attempted to speak Garnet stepped in, pulling him toward her and wrapping her arms around his body. "Shh... Shh... It's okay. It's going to be okay." She whispered.

Without even resisting, Steven wrapped his arms around her. His heavy breathing began to slowly soften right until he took a deep breath and exhaled out of his mouth.

Everyone then turned their attention over to Connie. Her eyes were shot open with slow breaths leaving her. Raising her hands she took notice of them starting to shake, making her breathing increase. "Was that... That really happened... Oh, gosh..."

Iolite began to get engulfed into an indigo light, separating herself and bringing back Kameron and Charoite. The two sisters approached Connie, embracing her in their arms. Connie's breathing slowly decreased, causing her to close her eyes and rest her head onto Lepidolite's chest.

"Let's bring them back to the house." Kameron said.

November 7th 6:30 p.m.

At the Universe Residence Steven and Connie were placed on Steven's bed. Both had their eyes closed with their chests slowly rising and fall back down. Near Steven's bedside the others alongside Greg carefully watched them rest.

"What happened?" Greg asked around.

"We're not sure." Kameron replied. "We were doing some training and they went up against some of Iolite's replicas until they defeated the last one. After that Stevonnie broke down."

"Their balance broke apart." Garnet said, making everyone turn their eyes onto her.

"What do you mean?" Lepidolite replied.

"For a Fusion to be stable, there needs to be balance between the two or more parts. If there ever is an imbalance, then it causes the Fusion to hallucinate, seeing images from their minds that harm them, and ultimately fall apart. More so, if one side of the Fusion is falling apart, then the other will too." Garnet explained.

Kameron slowly turned his eyes back to Steven and Connie. There needs to be "balance" within Fusion. So far he's fused with nearly all of his siblings and their Fusions had suffered the same consequences like Stevonnie did. Though that could be because of them accepting what they've done and are willing to move on from it. Despite the gruesome encounters they faced before, it was just something he had to accept, even if it added more cracks toward his mental and emotional states.

Steven and Connie were different. Steven would fight, but would never go that far. Connie was still a rookie and didn't have the experiences Kameron or Steven had. From what Garnet said it looked like Stevonnie saw things from Steven's side and Connie was witnessing it as well. It wasn't hard to guess what it was and it was far too much for them to handle, leading to Stevonnie falling apart. This is something Kameron needs to keep in mind of.

Pearl slowly reached out her hand, softly placing it onto Steven's head and rubbing it. Even though Steven talks to her if something was on his mind and he has a therapist to talk to about his problems, the damage was already done. The repercussions were etched into Steven's mind and heart.

"They're going to be okay, right?" Greg asked.

"They're going to be okay." Charoite replied. "For now, let's let them rest."

"When Connie wakes up I'll take her back home." Pearl said, removing her hand from Steven.

"Good. They've both had enough for today." Lepidolite replied.

Right as someone opened their mouth to speak a loud ring entered their ears. Pulling out their phones a Gem icon appeared on their screens.

"Pearl." Garnet said, grabbing Pearl's attention. "You and Charoite stay here. Me, Lepidolite, and Kameron will head out."

"Are you sure?" Pearl asked, receiving a nod.

Putting their phones away Kameron and Lepidolite were about to bring out their Warp Whistles...until they remembered that a Warp Pad was near them. Without a word the trio walked over to the Warp pad and stepped onto it.

"Please be careful. And if any of you fuse, please talk to each other beforehand." Greg announced.

"We will, Uncle Greg." Kameron replied as they warped away.

November 7th 7:00 p.m.

The trio soon reached their destination: The Alpha Kindergarten.

Stepping off of the Warp Pad the trio began to traverse into the gloomy atmospheric landscape. Nothing has changed much since the last time anyone was here, except for the destroyed Injectors. With them destroyed Home-World won't have any way of using them for colonization. Although...it didn't seem like the case anymore. Jasper was now captured, but Peridot was still roaming around to achieve her objective... Whatever it was.

"This place still creeps me out." Lepidolite said. "I get that Amethyst was born here and this landscape was used for bringing in new Gems into existence, but I just wish the atmosphere wasn't so...disturbing."

"Do you want me to hold your hand?" Kameron asked.

Without a response Lepidolite placed her hand into Kameron's. Last time he held hands with her was when he was a kid, and now...it was a little awkward. Though if it'll help calm her then he'll hold her hand for it."

"Something doesn't add up." Kameron said, gaining the others' attention. "Alpha. Beta. Gamma. Delta. Each one of them now have their Injectors destroyed. That's one of the ways to activate the Kindergartens, but Peridot hadn't shown much interested in them. So that means...she's after something else." He then turned his eyes to his sister, "Is there anything else that's put into the planet besides Injectors?"

Lepidolite adverted her eyes from her brother for a brief moment and looked back at him, "Actually...there is something else in the planet. We never told until you were, so now should be the right time. Peridot could be after-"

"Stop!" Garnet said, making the siblings stop in place. "Peridot is here."

Hearing this the siblings released each others hands and summoned their weapons. Garnet soon summoned her gauntlets as they slowly approached a corner. Pushing their heads out the trio witness Peridot standing near a wrecked Injector.

"Log Date: 12-15-22-5. My objective is nearly complete. I have lost contact with Jasper, though her absence doesn't concern me and is most likely in the custody of the Rainbow Gems and Crystal Gems. While on this miserable planet I have discovered the destruction of the Galaxy Warp, which only complicates my objectives further, and each Warp Pad I've located only brings me to a different location. More importantly, every single communication hub I've found have been annihilated beyond repair. With time, I'm positive Home-World will retrieve me and I shall conjure an excuse for the disappearance of Jasper. For now, I am currently in the Alpha Kindergarten. Beta, Gamma, and Delta have been activated. Soon...Earth will be colonized and The Cause may reach a peak of stability. Log Date: End." Peridot said to herself.

"PERIDOT!" Garnet yelled.

Hearing her name called Peridot gasped. She turned her head to see Kameron, Lepidolite, and Garnet rushing up to her. Turning around Peridot burst herself into the air and dashed away from them. Looking back at them Peridot glared at them and continued making her way through Alpha. Up ahead her eyes shot open and her lips stretched into a grin right as she descended toward the ground. Shifting her body around Peridot lifted both of her arms out, causing her fingers to rotate at high speeds while an electrical sphere began to form and grow. Once the trio got close to her the electrical sphere grew into a massive size right until she fired it.

Watching it come their way Garnet stepped forward, reeling back her arm and sending it right at the electrical sphere. As her fist collide with the project a few grunts exited her mouth right before she pushed her fist more, pushing the sphere right back at Peridot.

Seeing it come to her Peridot jumped out of the way. Falling to the ground she quickly recovered herself, but as she raised her head Lepidolite came in, lowering her body and throwing her leg right at Peridot. Without any time to react Peridot's face moved to the side at the amount of force from the kick, sending her to the side. Crashing into the ground Peridot quickly recovered herself, but once again as she raised her head Kameron stepped in, twisting his body and stretching his leg out, impacting Peridot's chest.

Getting pushed back Peridot crashed into the ground again. Tumbling through the landscape her back soon hit a large rock, making her gawk and lower her head. Slowly raising it up again her eyes soon caught the attention of Kameron pointing his blade at her throat with Lepidolite and Garnet right by his sides.

"It's over, Peridot." Kameron said firmly.

Peridot scoffed at him while narrowing her eyes, "You really think this is over, Organic?"

"From where we're standing, it pretty much shows it." Lepidolite said.

"You think I'm enjoying any of this?" Peridot asked firmly. "Do you think for one millisecond I like being stuck on a planet I despise? Just roaming around for absolutely no reason?"

"You're telling us nothing but lies now that you're caught." Garnet said as she stepped forward. "It's time for you to join Jasper." She added, raising up her fist.

"Garnet." Kameron said, stopping her. "Interrogation first. Then after she explains her objectives you can put her into a bubble."

Hearing this Peridot's eyes shot open. From how destructive these rebels were, there was a high chance they'll use any kind of methods to get information out of her. With Kameron's blade dangerously close to her neck it looked like she was going to have to give out some information if she wants to keep her life.

BANG!

In an instant time started to slow down. Lepidolite, Garnet, and Peridot watched carefully at the sight in front of them. A small grunt exited from Kameron's mouth while his grip on Venganza began to weaken until he let go of her. His vision began began to blur and shift, making his perspective of Alpha turn on it's side. His body started to move toward the side right as it soon hit the landscape. A small stream of blood soon began to drip from his head and onto the ground.

Watching Kameron fall Lepidolite felt her eyes twitch and her pupils started to shrink. Kameron... Her little brother... Someone she dearly loved so much...just...just... There were no words nor thoughts she could form at the very thing she just witnessed. Instead...tears immediately began to fall from her eyes.

Garnet wasn't so sure what to say either. She's couldn't see something like this. And...witnessing it just made her eyes shake from behind her shades.

Peridot was dead silent. She didn't care about the Organic nor would she...but...the event that just took place in seconds was too...graphic to make her speak. She had never seen an Organic drop like that. Was this really what many Quartzes and soldiers experience when they go to other planets? Seeing it for herself...any thoughts she could even make were deleted from her mind.

*Clicking Sounds*

Lepidolite and Garnet turned around to see a large group of G.P.F. soldiers pointing their guns at them. Then a few grunts entered their ears, making the Rainbow Gem and Crystal Gem turn their heads to see Vanessa holding out a gun.

"Bullseye." Vanessa said with a grin.

Hearing this Lepidolite blinked at her. "Did you... Did you just shoot at my brother?"

"Why do you think I'm holding a gun?" Vanessa replied. "Abominations deserve to be eradicated. It doesn't matter if he's a minor either. And when I see that Universe kid, I'll make it as quick and painless as I can."

Lepidolite slowly narrowed her eyes at the woman. Her eyes then glowed pink as she gritted her teeth. Shutting her eyes tightly she threw her head straight into the air.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

A screeching wail exited out of Lepidolite's mouth, causing those around her to immediately cover their ears. A large pink aura surrounded her body as she continued wailing and screaming into the gray gloomy skies. More and more of her wails continued on, causing Garnet's shades to instantly break apart.

"LEPIDOLITE!"

Soon...the wailing came to an immediate stop. Opening her eyes a small gasp exited her mouth to see her dear brother picking himself up from the ground.

"Give me a freakin' break, sis! One of these days you're gonna make people go deaf with that voice of yours." Kameron said as he clean out his ears.

His sister soon jumped at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and pushing them to the ground. Soon loud sobs exited her mouth as she increased her embrace. Kameron sighed before wrapping his arms around his big sister. As much as it would irritate anyone from the banshee screams she just committed, he needed to let it slide due to the circumstances. Given the situation in reverse, he would've done something similar to that.

"I...I thought...I thought you were..." Lepidolite said through her sobs.

"As much as I want to leave this life, something like getting shot in the head really isn't how I want to go out. Besides, don't you remember what I can do?" Kameron replied.

Pulling away from her brother Lepidolite locked her eyes to where he was shot. Carefully looking at it she spotted some green crystals within the blood. Her lips stretched into a smile as she planted several kisses on his cheek.

"How disgusting." Vanessa said, making the siblings stop to look at her. "What makes you think you deserve love in the first place? You're not capable of any affection. If you were, you would've left my planet long ago."

"That's enough!" Garnet yelled, gaining Vanessa's attention. "Don't you dare say they don't deserve love. Everyone deserves it, no matter who they are, but only if they truly know how important it is to them."

Getting up from the ground Lepidolite turned her eyes onto her brother, offering him her hand. Kameron took it, having his sister pick him up before embracing him again. "I know more about love than you do, Armstrong. I've experienced many types of love through my years on this planet. And my love for my brother is strong." She added as she locked eyes with him. "Let's show them how much we love each other. Let our hearts be one." She said softly.

Without giving her a verbal response, Kameron nodded. Wrapping their arms around each other the Rainbow sibling's Gemstones began to glow and their bodies got engulfed in auras. Soon their bodies were consumed within light and merged together, blinding everyone who were near them. The light slowly began to dim and a new being was born into existence.

The being was a fair-skinned teenage girl with her left eye being pink while her right eye was green. Her hair was long and light pink while formed into long twin-tails. She wore a violet T-shirt with a white dove at the center, surrounded by nine crystals in various colors. Along with her T-shirt she wore a white hoodie jacket, light-blue skinny jeans, and violet sneakers. On her right arm she had a pink diamond Gemstone on her wrist and a pink Gemstone in her right palm.

The new being turned her eyes to her surroundings, having everyone's eyes placed on her. Her lips grin as she raised her arms and crossed them.

"W-What?" Vanessa said in confusion. "What the hell are you?"

The girl titled her head while uncrossing her arms. Her smile didn't leave her lips. In fact, it slowly began to grow with each of her pupils beginning to glow their respected colors. "Hi." She said with a wry yet soft tone. "My name is Kunzite. And I don't appreciate you shooting at Kameron." She added as she pointed at her forehead, showing everyone the graze. "So...for your consequences, let me give you a taste of my love."

In a flash Kunzite dashed straight for Vanessa. Coming in close she leaped into the air, pushing both of her legs out. On contact Vanessa was pushed back with great force, getting sent back into one of Alpha's holes. Landing back on the ground she turned her attention onto the soldiers. Small giggles exited as she ran up to them. Raising up their guns the soldiers began shooting at her without a second thought. Her body swayed from left to right, dodging each bullet in mere seconds. Coming up to a soldier she twisted her body, raising up her leg and kicking him in the head, sending him off into a Alpha hole.

"C'mon, Garnet!" Kunzite yelled as she backflipped toward her. With one more flip she landed near her, bending herself back until she was upside-down, "Let's give these soldiers some punishment."

Summoning another pair of shades Garnet smiled at her and brought out her gauntlets. Pulling herself back up both Gems stood side by side and charged at the remaining soldiers.

More gunfire were coming in hot, though the duo rapidly dodged them right as Garnet jumped into the air and slammed her fist into the ground. Large cracks erupted from the sheer force, opening up a ravine and making several soldiers fall into it. Some had managed to get out of the way, but that matter little to Garnet, whom punched each she saw in an instant. Reaching another soldier she reeled her arm back and curved it down right until she sent it at the soldier's chin, raising herself and the soldier airborne until she slammed her target back down.

Kunzite resumed swaying her body, kicking every soldier in her sights. Making her way at her last target she brought herself into the air once more, twisting her body and pushing her leg out, aiming her foot at the soldier's face. Right on target the soldier got sent flying high into a massive rock and collapsed onto the ground.

Turning her head to Garnet, Kunzite and her nodded and turned around to see Peridot running away. Raising her right arm both of Kunzite's Gemstone's began to glow. Kameron's blade and Lepidolite's fan emerged, coming together and rotating themselves. Both weapons glowed their respected colors until they merged, glowing pink and forming a new weapon. A large metal-bladed hoop-ring.

Gripping it into her hand Kunzite reeled her arm back, throwing her hoop-blade right at Peridot. Turning her head back Peridot's eyes shot open as she ducked her head, making the hoop-blade miss it's target.

"Huh. You missed." Peridot taunted.

Little did she know as she continued running, she turned her head back to see the hoop-blade coming right at her. Coming up close the weapon sliced Peridot's head right off her shoulders, making it reach the air and fall right into the ground.

POOF!

Right then and there Peridot poofed, thought strangely and to the surprise to the Gems, her arms and legs didn't poof alongside her body. Going up to Peridot's Gemstone Garnet picked it up and placed it into a bubble. Kunzite raised out her right arm, using crystal tendrils to pull Peridot's arms and legs into the Gemstone.

When all was now set and done Kunzite erased her smile and her eyes stopped glowing. "Well...not exactly how I wanted my introduction to go, but at least we got the job done." She said as she dismissed her hoop-blade. "I'll tell my daddy about this and we'll talk to Peridot when given the chance." She added, turning her eyes to Garnet.

Garnet nodded.
