Later that night everyone is in their room, safe for Kory who paid Dick a visit to try and get him to open up about his past, but instead of adressing his secrets they ended up having sex.
After she leaves his room she heads to Rachel's room and knocks on her door only to get jumped by the two kids who captured Rachel before.
She dodges the guys baseball bat, which was aimed at her head and shoves him roughly against Rachel's door, knocking it off its hinges.
She then tosses the kid a good few meters down the hallway before catching a knife which came flying at her with a string connected to its end. Yanking on the string she pulls the girl of the abductors over to herself and chokes her, holding her against the wall opposite of Rachel's room.
In that time Garfield comes out to check on what made the noises and rushes over to Kory.
"Get Rachel out of here." Kory yells and Gar nods, diving into the purple haired girl's room and pulling her out with her, shoving the guy aside when he tries to block their path though the door.
When Garfield and Rachel run down the hallway to the exit they pass Tai who came outside as well, having been woken by Garfield when he left to see what's going on.
"Shit." Tai curses and sees the guy with a baseball bat run after Rachel and Gar, right past him.
Tai follows after him and grabs onto the back of his jacket, pulling the teen down to the floor violently, Rachel and Gar looking back at him thankful.
"What do you want with Rachel?" Tai asks angrily, holding the teen down.
"Our boss wants her. She's important." The guy replies and forces his way back to his feet, surprising Tai with the amount of strength he has.
Tai tumbles backwards a few steps and heads back inside his room, the guy hot on his heels.
As he runs into his room he sees Kory pummel the girl who tries to stab the red haired woman.
"You OK out there Kory?" Tai shouts while he grabs his Katana and pulls it from his sheathe, facing the baseball bat weilding opponent.
"Just peachy." She yells while breaking free of the string used to choke her.
"Where the hell is Dick?" Tai asks, dodging some swings of his opponnent and slice's through his left wrists tendon, the wrist hanging down limply.
The guy only grins and drops his bat, pulling his hand back in pace, where it heals in seconds and he can move his left hand again.
"This guy heals way fast." Tai yells.
"So does the bitch out here." Kory replies, having used the girls knife on herself, having stabbed her through her shoulder and seen it heal in seconds.
"Great." Tai shouts annoyed in reply before going on the offensive, he slices over the guys stomach with barely a result ofher than him taking a step back.
Tai then swings at the baseball wielding arm with all his power, cleaving right through the wooden bat and the guys arm at his elbow, the limb dropping down unceremoniously with the guy falling to his knees for a moment.
Tai uses this to kick him in his head hard, sending him flying head first into the opposite wall and rushes out of the room.
He sees the girl pinned against a wall by Kory and stabs her clean through her torso, the blade going into her left side and coming out of her right side.
"Come on. We need to regroup." Tai tells Kory, pulling her along and out of the motel.
"Where is Dick?" Rachel asks once Tai and Kory join her and Garfield.
"No idea. My guess is he had to deal with those two." Tai says, pointing at the man and woman coming out of one of the motel entrances while the teens come out of another.
"The fuck? I chopped that guys arm off." Tai curses upon seeing the base ball wielding teen having both arms again.
"Get behind me guys. It's time to burn fuckers!" Kory says and tries to use her powers, only for her to glow briefly before fizzling out.
"Fucking night." Kory grumbles and gets hit by the man of their enemies, sending her into a car and dents it.
"Gar protect Rachel." Tai says, readying his sword when suddenly a smokebomb rolls into the middle of the group, making it difficult for all of them to see.
The man of the enemies group is suddenly hit by a hook of sorts before getting pulled away violently, sending him flying over the car he was standing at.
The others move to attack at this and Tai engages the two teens, blocking their attacks with his sword before the girl is also pulled away when another hook stabs itself into her back and the woman's chest with Dick now revealed as Robin to the groups hitting the wire connecting the hooks with his bo and makes both females crash into one another.
Garfield inspired by this disappears behind a car and transforms into a tiger while Rachel knocker away the bat wielding teen with her powers, showing some control over them.
Garfield then
swipes his paw at the girl who freed herself from the wire and knocks her down to the side.
Dick tosses his shuriken at the guy coming back to his comrades aid and Kory follows up, joining Dick in hitting the man while Dick shows his impressive fighting skills by dealing with the man and the girl who swiftly rejoins the fight.
Besides them Tai is fighting the older woman and cut off her hand with the drill already, which doesn't slow her down through as she continues to hit and punch at Tai, landing a few hits when he was taken by surprise.
"I hope they can't come back from this." Tai growls and beheads the woman, the head rolling right in front of the man's feet and he drops the hammer he was using.
"Looks like we're in trouble kids." The man says while Dick and the others look at Tai with anger or shock.
"Why did you do that?" Dick asks angrily, grabbing Tai by his collar.
"To protect ourselves." Tai simply replies, pushing past Dick.
"Hold onto that for me." He tells Rachel who is too stunned to do much besides hold the blood dripping blade while Tai grabs the wire Dick was using and the rope on the girls weapon to tie up their opponents.
The group then leads their captured assailants into some rooms, tying them to chairs in the room, keeping the kids and the man separate for now.
"You really are quite skilled." Kory tells Tai after he finishes tying up the kids and offers him his katana which she got from Rachel when the girl left to talk with Dick.
"I have some experience with stuff like this. Not as much as I'd like to have though." Tai answers, taking back his weapon gratefully.
Meanwhile a few rooms over Dick, Gar and Rachel are talking among themselves.
"Are we really cool with Tai killing the woman like that?" Gar asks.
"No. He went too far." Dick replies shaking his head.
"I don't know. How else were we going to stop them? They heal instantly. I mean you would have killed the guy with your shuriken if he didn't." Rachel defends Tai.
"I knew he wouldn't die and killing is not the way to handle things." Dick answers.
"But we can talk about this later. We need to find out why they are after you Rachel." Dick says and leads them over to the room the man is tied up in.
The man only reveals that he has an employer however, same as the teens.
"So you are Robin." Garfield says awestruck when the group meets outside to make a plan.
"Yes I was." Dick answers grumpily.
"You know batman. Are we going to meet batman? I'd really like to meet batman." Garfield says excited.
"No." Dick only replies.
"Why did you kill her?" He then asks Tai.
"I don't see how else we were going to stop them? They heal too fast and are too strong to knock out." Tai answers.
"Just... we don't kill people or at least we're not supposed to anyways." Dick tells them, looking at Tai and Kory.
"If you were more observant when you were the lookout maybe we wouldn't have had to fight at all." Tai comments.
"That's partially on me. I distracted Dick." Kory says, Dick looking at the teens embarrassed.
"So what do we do?" Rachel asks, getting back on topic.
"You all stay here. And don't kill them. I will check what the boss is all about." Dick answers, having gotten a viable lead from the gps in the car.
