I want to briefly apologize for not posting yesterday, I wasn't feeling myself yesterday. Even this morning I felt extremely odd... Anyways, enjoy these long two chapters as an apology!

Arnold sprung into the air, leaping behind her.

"Can't hurt, what you can't see."

Helga immediately turned around but got a fist to the face from Arnold. He did a spin right after as he hit her with his elbows.

Blood came from her nose as Helga was on her knees.

While she was down, Arnold briefly looked to see whether there was an escape. Unfortunately, his armor button was broken and he was too deep down in a hole to climb out of.

The fire sizzled and crackled around the lair as only one escape was left standing. A partial fire was at the last exit but it wasn't too bad… Yet.

Meanwhile…

At the tower, Olivia and Rhonda were moving carefully around the tower as the structure was getting weaker and weaker. Spinelli soon caught up with them.

The three were soon faced with more debris.

"Stand back. I'll handle this one!" Spinelli said as she drew her glove blades. Minor rocks fell and a big rock crashed down.

Spinelli soon cut through the structural piece of wall. "Clear!" She kicked down the piece.

"Watch your heads through here." She soon said. "What's that sound?" Olivia asked.

"Team two. Come in!" Ariel said over the radio. "Ariel, what's happening?" Rhonda replied.

"One of the news choppers picked up a hostage on the South side of the building! There's a big opening in the wall and it's Curly! He has the hostage!"

"We're near there!"

"Copy that."

"What are we waiting for? C'mon!" Spinelli said. The two only nodded as they hurried.

The three soon approached as Curly had a blade at the hostage's throat.

"ONE STEP CLOSER, AND WE GET TO SEE HOW HIS TONSILS LOOK LIKE!" Curly yelled.

"Don't you fucking dare, you animal!" Rhonda growled.

Curly then smirked as he faced away. He took a step closer to the ledge. "My grip appears to be slipping." He gave an evil grin.

"Oops." He let the victim drop. "I got this!"

"Olivia, NO!" Rhonda tried to stop Olivia, but it was already too late.

Olivia shot a tether rope from her repulsor glove as it wrapped around a metal bar and the hook attached itself to the rope as she kicked Curly at the back of the head. Olivia got out of the building and she soon grabbed the falling victim.

Olivia grabbed the falling victim, but the safety mechanism in her right repulsor glove failed.

"EUGH!" Olivia's left arm slammed against the building as she felt it extremely weak now.

The tether rope was starting to creak from the metal.

"Looks like you got two options. Save your pathetic daughter. Or, capture me." Curly gave an evil grin as he slowly walked away.

"Captain!" Ariel called. "What's wrong, Ms. Flyer?"

"Captain, get a truck positioned under my teammate! She has a hostage on her and looks like she injured her left arm!" Ariel looked through her advanced binoculars. Captain Morrison looked over as he soon saw Olivia, barely hanging on.

"I'm repositioning Truck Fifty-One now!" Morrison immediately went onto his radio as he radioed the driver for Truck Fifty-One.

Olivia felt her arm in pain as she barely held the victim. "I know things look bad… but trust me! Ok?" The victim nodded. "Don't look down! Just keep your eyes off the ground!"

"Hang on, Olivia!" Rhonda frantically said as she soon grabbed the tether. Spinelli had the rope in her hands as well, for extra stability.

"Ground control, we have a hostage hanging from the side of the building and we'll attempt to lower her to safety. Do you copy?"

"Copy that, I'm repositioning Truck Fifty-One." The Chief said. "Come on!" He motioned for the Truck.

The Truck was approaching and it soon came to a stop.

"Olivia, hang in there! We'll soon get you out of there!" Ariel said through her earpiece. "As if I could go anywhere." Olivia rolled her eyes.

Truck Fifty-One was a platform ladder, as it was just about set as the ladder started to go up.

"Alright, you guys. Try to cut some slack on the rope! It's the only way." Ariel said over the earpiece.

Spinelli unhooked the hook as Rhonda soon started lowering the rope slowly.

Water trickled down from the building as it was from the Ladder trucks spraying water onto the building.

"Just look down here, just look down here, ma'am! Just stay right here!" The truck member said as the other member radioed Ariel.

"Copy that. Rhonda, you got ten-fifteen feet left. Bring them down. Bring 'em down!" Ariel told Rhonda. She only took a deep breath as she started lowering the rope more.

A creaking sound was heard briefly before an explosion went off.

CRASH!

Rhonda and Spinelli looked over to see what it was. Fire was shooting out briefly as the building floor trembled.

"WOAH!" Rhonda slipped as she held onto the rope. Spinelli's suit flashlight automatically turned on as she had also slipped.

Spinelli regained her balance as she tugged on the rope. "It's alright! I got you!" Spinelli tugged on the rope.

"AAH!" Rhonda's grip on the rope was worsening as the ground right behind her started to collapse. "AH! HEL- HELP!" Rhonda regained her grip on the rope as metal started crashing onto each other, causing it to slowly come down onto one another.

Metal was crashing onto each other as an explosion would follow after.

KA-BOOM

It sounded as if a firework with dynamite went off as the explosion not only was loud but made the building look as if it was a burning inferno. Fire shot out from the thirteenth floor it was amplified by the explosion. News Helicopters backed away as the fire was near them. The explosion was to the East side of the building as bunches of debris exploded off of the building. Olivia had no choice and ducked her head with the female hostage.

A bunch of rocks and debris on fire came crashing down, onto the car fire, and near the firetrucks as well.

BOOM!

Firefightersretreated as the fire raged from the falling debris. News choppers were capturing every moment of it as viewers at home were extremely shocked. Spotlights shined from the bottom of the tower to the top.

CRASH!

Fire briefly shot out as tiny rocks and pieces of sheet metal were falling as the big metal pieces were collapsing onto each other. A big metal structure piece then fell as the ground caved in.

Rhonda's grip was starting to slip as she looked down at a massive fire pit down under. Burning pieces of debris fell and made it worse.

"AH! SPINELLI! HELP!" Rhonda yelled as several burning pieces of debris fell. A big burning rock fell onto her back and part of her suit caught fire for a couple minutes.

"GRAB MY HAND!"

Rhonda only gulped as she grabbed Spinelli's hand. Spinelli tugged as hard as ever.

She soon managed to get Rhonda to safety as she soon pulled her out of the sinking floor. Unfortunately, Rhonda let go of the tether. She tried reaching for it, but it got out of her reach.

"NO!"

"I GOT IT!" Spinelli immediately pounced onto the tether. She immediately rolled to her feet and tugged to stop the rope from sliding.

Olivia felt her right arm aching as her left felt weakened.

"Rhonda?! Spinelli?! Come in!" Ariel frantically said. "Ariel!" Rhonda started. "We're alright now!"

"Oh, thank God! Listen, Olivia is just about four feet away from the Platform Ladder. Can you two lower her down so I can treat her?"

"Ariel, you have no idea how thankful we are for having you on our team! We'll lower her now."

Ariel briefly blushed before she kept looking at the spot where Olivia was. "Lower… Lower. You're nearly there, girls.

At The Home of The Lloyd's

Brooke and Buckley were following every second of the news as Brooke couldn't even believe her eyes.

"How did this city change from the most peaceful part of the country towards the most DANGEROUS city across all of America?!" Brooke questioned as she had tears falling down her cheeks. "And the worse part is, we have ZERO CLUE on what could be happening towards our daughter and son-in-law!"

Buckley also wondered the same thing. "I truly ask myself that question every time they're in action. Our daughter was once a Princess with her Prince, and while she is with her Prince, those two are constantly fighting for their lives. Especially since they have a child together."

"And it WAS Olivia's choice to go down this route…. And you are seeing what's happening! Hanging off the side of a burning building… FROM A ROPE!"

"I'm sorry to say this but… I'm afraid all we can do is hope they all come out alive." Buckley tried to comfort Brooke. "And what about Arnold?! We haven't heard anything about him! For all I know he could be trapped somewhere!"

"I'm afraid there's nothing to say… Nothing has been heard about him."

"And that's my main concern now! I know my precious daughter and granddaughter are ok… But what about my son-in-law!" Brooke hung her head as tears kept falling. "Isn't Stella doing anything to help?!"

"Sapphire! I need a damn status report!" Stella said as she kept looking at the raging fire.

"We're getting there but there's too much debris in the way!" Star Sapphire replied as she was cutting through structural debris with a saw made from her lantern ring.

Truck Fifty-One's platform Ladder was at ground level as the victim was taken straight to an ambulance to get her calmed down and to be given oxygen.

Ariel took Olivia into the helicopter and gave her oxygen.

"How are you feeling?" Ariel asked. "Just weak and it feels like my eyes are burning." Olivia replied. "Here, keep this on for a couple minutes. I'll get you hydrated, and then check on your arm." Ariel then got her a cold water bottle.

"Thanks, Ariel." Olivia smiled. Ariel smiled back. Olivia drank half the bottle as she poured a little water on her face to cool off.

"Alright, let's get your arm checked." Ariel soon said.

Spinelli was briefly laying down as Rhonda was on one knee. Both were catching their breath as they were exhausted.

"Rhonda… how about we get out of here for now…?" Spinelli suggested. "No argument… here. Come on." Rhonda helped Spinelli to her feet and the two soon started walking out carefully as the floor was unstable.

A Few Minutes Later

Ariel was finishing treatment on Olivia. "You'll have scans tomorrow. But looks like a major sprain and possibly a fracture. I managed to reduce the pain so it won't bother you as much. Ok?"

"Thanks a lot, Ariel!" Olivia then hugged Ariel. Ariel hugged her back as she smiled. She then looked over as she saw Spinelli and Rhonda emerge from the smokey entrance.

Spinelli collapsed on the helicopter leg as she took deep breaths.

"C'mon, Spinelli. Up you go!" Ariel helped her to her feet and she soon walked her over inside the helicopter. "Put this on." Ariel put an oxygen mask on her face and Spinelli felt relieved.

Ariel tossed Rhonda a water bottle as she had also collapsed onto the helicopter leg. She immediately opened the bottle and drank three-quarters of the bottle.

"People want to think of us as superhumans…News flash… We're also human." Rhonda complained as she drank the rest of the water.

Spinelli finally sat up as she took the oxygen mask off her face. "Believe me. Not a day goes by where I don't hear people talking about how we're 'superhumans' or any of that crap."

Ariel tossed her a water bottle Spinelli caught it and opened it immediately. She only sighed as they looked at the burning tower. A squawking was then heard. "What was that?" Olivia asked.

"I recognize that noise anywhere!" Ariel looked up at the sky as she whistled. The squawking continued. "What do you exactly mean by that?" Spinelli lowered an eyelid as she raised an eyebrow.

A flash swooped by them as the three were caught off guard. Ariel whistled again. "Get down here already!"

An eagle soon flew down and landed right on Ariel's forearm.

"Woah. Been a while since I last saw him" Rhonda said. "You saw him just yesterday." Ariel chuckled.

"Now that's really cool." Olivia said as she looked at Swoops. "Yeah but only one question here. What is Swoops doing here?" Rhonda asked. "He's here to help look over you guys at any point in time. He'll be surveying the outside of the tower. Anytime you need help, he'll be notified. And don't worry, he's one of the bravest Eagles I've ever seen."

"So he was trained to be brave?"

"And to save people as well."

"Now that's what I call a brave Eagle!" Spinelli said as she looked at Swoops.

"Reminds me of Arnold when he once owned a parrot as teens." Rhonda said as she remembered the Scarlet Macaw Arnold used to own. "Mom, how's Dad even doing right now?" Olivia asked.

Rhonda only shrugged as she got on her earpiece. "Arnold? Arnold, can you hear me? Arnold!" Static came through the radio as it was dead. "I'm not getting an answer."

"Maybe he's busy? Or his earpiece fell out?" Spinelli said, unsure.

"Unfortunately we still have a job to do so we can't go and check on him. Ready?"

"Ready!" Olivia and Spinelli said at the same time.

"Good luck, girls! Swoops. You know what to do!" Ariel said as Swoops screeched. Swoops flew off as the three girls went back into the tower.

"More pressure on this hose!" Voices in the background said.

"Keep that rig there!" A Firefighter mentioned Truck Fifty-One.

"Stella, the three girls are headed back into the tower. I had to give them oxygen and water as they were severely dehydrated."

"Copy that. Thanks so much, Ariel!" Stella gave her first smile all night. Ariel smiled as well.

Swoops flew around the tower as he screeched while soaring through the air.

While all that was happening, Arnold was just battling for his life.

Arnold was on one knee as he gingerly got up and held his sword in front as it faced to the side.

"I feel STRONGER! MORE POWERFUL! FUELED BY RAGE!" Helga shouted as she clashed her blades against Arnold's sword.

"Rage is a fuel that burns quickly, Pataki! Something that you're too stupid to even notice!"

Their swords clashed again as Helga tried to push him into the wall.

"Unlike you…" Arnold grunted. "I'm not afraid of anything!" He pushed her back.

"That does it…!" Helga lunged forward to stab him directly in the face. He moved out of the way as Helga got her blades stuck.

Arnold hit her ribs and then punched her in the nose, setting her free from the wall.

Helga wasn't going to let anything get in the way of her 'revenge'.

Arnold only glared as he held his sword in hand, ready to strike or defend. His suit was all smoldered from all the smoke and fire, with minor cuts and many tears around the suit, and a couple of bruises.

Helga had blood running from her nose and her face had a massive cut. Her chest-plating armor was cracked and scratched, her suit smoldered from the smoke as well, and many tears around her suit. Her forearm armor padding was also cracked and scratched.

Arnold rolled to his feet as he shot a missile at a weak wall.

"You missed! Fuckin' moron!" Helga snorted.

"Did I?"

Rocks crumbled as the wing of the destroyed QR Jet slid off, clipping Helga in the head. The wing then landed on top of her and she was knocked out for the meantime.

Arnold just sat down next to a wall as he didn't know what would happen next.
