Hours ago…

I wonder if everyone is doing alright with me and Mari being away. *Sigh*…Mari hasn't been back seen she said she was going to get some air. Hope she didn't leave me here, not that I don't like it here.

"…", I blinked twice, "…"

Not sure of what to do, with my shoulder being in the state it is now. I looked down to barracuda, who was sleeping peacefully. They let out a small purr then turn on their side. Hmhmhm, pretty cute.

"…", I gently moved my arm then put it down, "…"

Okay it's official, I am bored. *Sigh*

"Hello there, hornless one", I hear someone say from outside the tent.

"Please, call me Mari", I heard Mari say.

Huh, I guess she wasn't very far away. Wonder why she didn't come back inside?

"Is your friend awake?"

"Not sure", Mari asked, "You can go in and see, I'm sure she wouldn't mind"

Suddenly someone opened the tent entrance, it turned out to be the village leader and another bison holding a big bowl.

"Good afternoon, little one", the leader said gently then sat down next to my bed, "I heard about what happened, how are you fairing?"

"Still in some pain, but I'm fi-ow!

"I'm sorry child", the bison apologized after lifting my shoulder gently.

"It's…okay", I said bearing the pain while having one eye closed.

What I assume was a nurse bison, treated my shoulder while the leader kept me company. I asked the nurse bison how long would it take for my shoulder to heal. Hhhheee said it…may not move…due to where it was shot at,…aaand it being cuuursed. Hearing that…made me…, I don't feel like thinking nor talking about it. After some serious pain bearing, the nurse bison finally finished bandaging my shoulder.

"There has been something on my mind that I have been meaning to ask you young one", The leader said.

"Yes?"

"What brings you to our home world?"

"Ooh, that's…kind of a secret, but it's related to finding my parents", I asked looking down.

"Do you know where they are?"

"We'll yes, but that's a secret", I asked looking at him, "Though I was only able to speak to them with spirit crystals"

"In spirit you say?", the Leader said running his chin, "Would you like to speak with them now?"

"…! What, e-e-excuse me?!"

"Would you like to speak with your parents in spirit again?"

"Yes, yes very mu-AH!"

"Child, please", said the bison nurse.

"I'm…so sorry"

"Then it's settled", the leader said standing up, "I will get together my best spirit speakers for them to make a ritual", he said as he walked out the tent.

I get to speak with my parents again, maybe even longer. I can't believe it, I'm so happy!

"Mari!"

"Yea I heard", Mari said opening the tent opening then walked in, "And I wanna speak to my parents too!"

"…If you want, I could-

"Yea, HECK YEA please!"

I don't know what happened to Mari's parents, however, I dare not to think about might have happened. An hour went by until someone opened the tent opening, it was a bison. They told me the village leader was ready to see me and was here to send me to where the ritual was held. Before picking me up, I had to wake barracuda up. It wasn't working, so Mari had to pick them up out the way. The bison did their best to lift me without hurting me, buuut…it still hurt. Barracuda was then placed back onto the bed. Mari followed me through the village until we reached a much bigger and sturdy tent. I am so ready. When we went in, it looked a little dark. There were several other bison waiting for us.

"Wait here other hornless one", said the bison who was holding me.

"Aw come on", Mari complained.

"Don't worry Mari, I'll ask them"

"*Ssssigghh* Ffffiiine", Mari pouted rolling her head and eyes.

Looks like I'll be on my own for this one, but I won't forget Mari. I was placed on the ground where a very pretty rug laid close to the fire pit. All but one bison sat on the rugs surrounding the fire pit, while the one stood next to the fire pit. A little light came into the text, someone was walking in.

"Is everything ready?", the Village leader asked walking in.

"Yes", said the bison standing.

The leader sat to me, "Thank you again, for letting me speak to my parents"

"Anything for the ones who helped my kind"

"If it's not to much trouble, could you-

"We are ready to begin", said the bison standing.

"Oh, can you save your request later?"

"O-okay", I said then looked at the bison standing.
