In the dimly lit lair, Raph's brothers stood outside the locked door, concern etched on their faces. They had heard the loud crash and knew Raph had lost his temper again. Leo, Mikey, and Donnie exchanged worried glances, knowing they had to help their hotheaded brother.
Leo spoke first, gently knocking on the door. "Raph, please open up. We want to talk."
"I don't wanna talk!" Raph's voice came out muffled from behind the door.
Mikey chimed in, "Come on, dude, you know we're just trying to help.
"I said I'm fine, Mikey!" Raph's frustration was evident in his tone.
Donnie took a different approach, trying to reason with him. "Raph, I'm sorry about what I said to you earlier. I didn't mean to hurt you. We all say things we don't mean sometimes."
"It's not about that, Donnie," Raph retorted, his voice heavy with emotion. He sounded more like giving up.
Leo stepped forward, speaking softly, "Then what is it about, Raph? You can't keep bottling things up. We're your brothers, and we care about you."
Silence hung in the air for a moment before Raph finally spoke. "I hate myself! It's nothing new... Anyway, I think I broke my hand..."
The three brothers exchanged a knowing glance. It wasn't the first time Raph's struggle with his temper had caused him pain, but it surely was the first time he spoke a word about his feelings.
Leo's voice was filled with concern as he gently knocked on the door. "Raph, please open up. We need to check on your hand."
"I don't want to get out!" Raph's voice came out muffled from behind the door, his anger still evident.
Mikey chimed in, "Come on, dude, we're not gonna leave you alone like this. Let us in, and give us a chance to patch u up."
After a moment of hesitation, Raph reluctantly unlocked the door, allowing his brothers inside. They saw his hand, bruised and swollen from the impact with the wall.
Leo took the lead, examining the injury. "We need to clean this up and bandage it properly."
Mikey fetched the first aid kit while Donnie prepared some warm water. He gently tended to Raph's hand, trying to ease his pain both physically and emotionally.
"I'm sorry about earlier, Raph," Donnie said softly. Raph just looked at the floor whispering. "I deserved it." But the others didn't hear.
Raph remained silent, not wanting to delve into the details of his anger outburst. Once Don was done patching up his hand, he withdrew to his room without saying a word.
Leo exchanged a worried glance with Mikey and Donnie. "We can't just leave him like this. We need to get him to open up."
"I agree," Donnie said. "But we have to be patient and let him cool down first. He's dealing with a lot right now."
"Maybe we can bring him his favorite snack later," Mikey suggested. "You know, try to make him feel a little better."
Leo nodded. "That's a good idea. Let's give him some space for now and check on him later."
