All Class 1-A students huddled together with defensive stances.

"None of our attacks are landing." Makabe said.

"I guess we shouldn't be surprised that UA won't go down without a fight." Shindo said.

"Maybe not, but we have a plan." Makabe said.

Makabe pressed three orange balls together with both hands, hardening them to be as hard and tough as concrete.

"All done." Makabe said, tossing the hardening balls down to Toteki.

"I'll take it from here." Toteki said as he caught the hardening balls effortlessly with his hands. "Just try not to be jealous when I end up finishing ahead of the rest of our class." He started moving his arms in a sophisticated fashion as the hardening balls began to illuminate in a bright purple glow. "But I'm sure you won't mind since I'll be reducing enemy numbers with this elegant attack. Target Lock-On."

Then, Toteki tossed the hardening balls into the air and sent them burrowing into the ground straight towards Class 1-A's direction, making the UA students look around at the ground in high alert.

"Where are they gonna pop out?" Izuku said.

"Get back. I'll handle this." Jiro said.

Jiro immediately plugged her earphone jacks into her wrist amplifiers on her forearms.

Sound Amplification. Amplifier Jack! Jiro thought. She slammed her wrist amplifiers onto the ground. Heartbeat Distortion!

Within second, Jiro unleashed a powerful sonic wave throughout the ground, causing it to break up and making the Ketsubutsu students jump back from the impact.

Then suddenly, three hardening balls were launched out from the ground, making their way straight towards Mineta.

"They're coming straight for me!" Mineta shouted in a panic.

"Maximum strength and viscosity!" Mina said, lifting her right hand covered with her acid. She swiftly created a powerful acidic wall that shielded Mineta and melted the hardening balls with ease. "Protect this perv, Acid Veil!"

"Wow, thanks. That's such a great move." Mineta said with a smile.

"It's a defensive special that creates a melty wall." Mina smiled back.

"Now it's my turn." Tokoyami said, handing an orange ball in his hand. "Black Abyss!"

Dark Shadow cloaked himself over Tokoyami's face and right arm.

"Now, Dark Shadow. Piercing Twilight Claws!" Tokoyami called out.

Tokoyami extended his arm straight towards Nakagame, who quickly evaded Dark Shadow's claw by retracting herself into her waist. Nakagame then popped her head from out of her waist and began pulling the rest of her body out.

"Interesting." Shindo said to himself. "This isn't the Class A from the Sports Festival. It's obvious their training is making them better fighters."

Mera observed the students on his laptop in an unknown room.

"Mm. Looks like all the students are still in a stalemate." Mera said through the microphone. "Not a single one's passed yet. Oh, and don't worry, students, I'll keep you updated with an announcement every time a few students move on to the next round."

All Class 1-A silently looked at their Ketsubutsu rivals as if they are waiting to see what they can do with their Quirks.

What's our strategy? Izuku thought. Everyone will be focused on protecting their targets. Their weak points.

It's going to be basically impossible to hit them by chance. We'll have to aim well and break through their defenses, even if we don't know their powers. Luna added.

Izuku and Luna mentally recalled what Makabe had said earlier.

Everyone's holding back right now. Watching for their opponents' blind spots and how they use their Quirks. Izuku thought.

But, at any moment, the real fight will begin. Luna thought.

With a smile, Shindo began cracking his fingers.

"All right." Shindo said. He placed his palms on the ground, which caught his classmates' attention. "Out of the way! Their defenses are too strong right now. I'll fix that."

"Maximum Force!" Shindo shouted. He channeled his full power into both palms and sent out two small pulses of energy throughout the ground. "Tremoring Earth!"

Suddenly, Shindo's Quirk started shaking and breaking the ground apart in an earthquake fashion, knocking the Class 1-A students off their feet and splitting them up at the same time.

"Not good! Everyone run!" Iida shouted.

"What the heck is this?" Mina yelled.

"His power is insane!" Mineta shrieked.

"We've got Ultimate Moves, too." Shindo smiled to himself. "You didn't think you were the only ones, did ya?"

Seconds later, Luna pulled herself out of the rubble from Shindo's Quirk.

Oh, man. That was one overkill Quirk. Luna thought as she stretched her limbs. She looked around and found herself completely alone without any sight of her classmates. Oh, this is not good. It was Shindo's plan all along. He used his Quirk to split up me and everyone else. This way, Ketsubutsu can use this advantage to hunt us down individually. Right now, I need to find one or everyone in Class 1-A as quick as possible.

Luna started moving in stealth mode without getting caught from the other students.

"What?! There were 120 people taken down? A single person managed to do that in just one attack? That actually surprised me so much that I'm awake! I assume we'll see a lot of people passing from now on." Mera announced.

What the?! Luna exclaimed in disbelief as she quietly hid behind a large rubble. One student eliminated 120 students in one shot?! She formed a wide smile on her face. Oh, wow. They weren't kidding having strong students from all over the country.

Then suddenly, a female Shiketsu High student somersaulted over Luna. She swiftly tagged Luna's weak point on her right shoulder with her ball.

What the hell?! She just came outta nowhere! Luna thought in shock. Her eyes narrowed as she immediately recognized the female student. Wait a minute. She's Celia Kurayami from Shiketsu High School.

"Gotcha." Celia said as she landed behind Luna. "Bet you didn't see that one coming. I didn't wanna miss the chance to have fun with one of the strongest students in UA afterwatching your battle during the Sports Festival."

"Very overconfident for someone who just watched me at the Sports Festival just to gather all that intel to take me on." Luna said as she activated her Quirk. She and I both know there's no time for chit chat. Let's get it on before her backup teammates get here.

Celia jumped up in the air and materialized three cards out of pure darkness in between her fingers before tossing them towards Luna all at once. Luna evaded the incoming cards with swift backflips and landed back onto the ground.

Celia snapped her fingers with a devious smile. One of her shadow cards appeared behind directly behind Luna.

With a tap of a ball, I'll have two weak points on her. Celia thought.

But Luna quickly jumped out of the way, avoiding the ball that was aiming at the weak point on her left hip coming from the shadow card.

Gotta counterattack somehow. Luna thought. And that was close. Her Quirk is almost similar to how my mom used hers.

Diana picked herself up off the ground with a groan while Selene and Aisha already stood on their feet. They found themselves being separated from their classmates thanks to Shindo's earthquake.

"Damn, man, talk about intense." Diana said. "That guy is officially on my punching in the face list."

"We can worry about him later. Right now, we have to find our classmates." Selene said.

"Without becoming targets for the other schools." Aisha added. "For now, we have to stay calm and vigilant."

Meanwhile, Celia kept materializing shadow cards between her fingers and sent them flying towards the dodging Luna for a cunning chance to strike.

"Ha, ha, ha. There's nothing like a good fight between two students from prestigious schools!" Celia said. "Time to really turn up the heat!"

Celia and Luna charged forward at one another at full speed. They delivered a brief hand-to-hand combat before Luna planted a pink energized fist in Celia's face and sent her down to the ground. Celia stood up and materialized a large circle of shadow cards around her before propelling them toward Luna. But Luna started throwing pink energy bolts at Celia, who nimbly dodged with backflips. Celia then jumped in the air before tossing an entire deck of shadow cards at Luna at a rapid, blur-like speed. Luna avoided the incoming shadow card and then landed to the ground.

"Well, we've finally had a 30th person pass." Mera informed with a yawn. "Still a pretty long way to go, though. Can't you kids speed this along? For me?"

Celia then held out an orange ball in her hand. She slowly moved towards the target on Luna's left hip. But Luna quickly noticed the orange ball out of the corner of her eye and spun her right leg around, knocking the ball away out of Celia's hand.

"Let me guess. Your Quirk's associated with teleportation?" Luna asked with narrow eyes.

"What about my Quirk?" Celia questioned.

"During our fight, I've noticed your Quirk has great resemblance to Tarot Chariot's in a playing card style. But there's a big difference. The only thing your Quirk has that Tarot Chariot doesn't is that it acts almost like a portal." Luna explained. "Disappearing in one spot and reappearing in another to avoid attacks and plan a devious strike. Just like how you were able to strike your ball at me. Am I correct?"

Celia grew a scheming smile on her face.

"You're observant, I'll give you that." Celia said.

Celia quickly materialized a shadow card in between her fingers. Before she could strike, she suddenly found herself surrounded with sea green sensation that disabled her from using her Quirk or moving her limbs.

"What the?" Celia said in surprise.

"You're okay, Luna?"

Luna turned her head and saw Aisha just unleashed her psychokinesis on Celia. Selene and Diana stood on either side of their gothic friend.

"Girls!" Luna yelled with a smile. "Just in time!"

But before any of the girls could react, a shadow card quickly pulled Celia inside from Aisha's psychokinetic grasp. It flew on top of a mountain-like rubble and Celia resurfaced out of it.

"And things were just getting good." Celia said with a shrug. Her eye glued down at Luna. "You and I will finish this game later. Until next time, ta-ta."

With that, Celia performed remarkable somersaults and disappeared out of sight.

"Get back here!" Diana yelled.

"Let her go." Luna said.

"Huh? Why not?" Aisha asked.

"There's still a chance that she might come after us, but right now, we don't have much time left." Luna said. "Plus, it'll be seriously hard to get a point of her."

Later on, Luna and her friends hid behind large rocks as Luna explained about Celia's Quirk and their battle.

"That's her Quirk? Cool." Aisha said.

"You and me both." Luna agreed.

"It's pretty clear that the other schools have done their observation on us, especially during the Sports Festival when we were on the same cavalry battle team." Selene said.

"Good point." Diana nodded. She looked at Luna. "We're lucky we were able to find you and avoiding the other students, thanks to Aisha's Ghost. So, what do we do next?"

"As much as I want to meet up with the rest of our class, they could be anywhere." Luna pointed out. "So far, thirty people have already passed this test. We have to hurry and earn some points as fast as we can."

Diana, Selene, and Aisha nodded in agreement.

"Let's see, where are we at now? Things've been moving a lot more quickly. Looks like fifty-two…make that fifty-three have passed." Mera announced over the speakers. "And, looking on the other side of things, it would seem two hundred and thirty examinees have failed. Less than half the spots are open. Now's the time to move. Don't dally, kids."

Enjoy and review.
