Hey everyone.

I have returned with another chapter! Just letting you know, It's a litter shorter compared to my other chapters because it is all one scene, no time skips.

Quick thing: To answer rotuxxxxd's question about Zuko and Reyna being related.

Reyna's father was Fire Lord Rei's right hand man. Fire Lord Rei is not the ancestor of Zuko's family though. Reyna's best friend Rezu ends up becoming the Fire Lord, after Rei does something that you will find out later. This would mean that Zuko and Rezu are related, not Zuko and Reyna. I'm sorry if anyone out there is a Rezu/Reyna (Rezna? Reyzu?) shipper. The two were not in a romantic relationship. But, like how I respect Katara/Zuko shippers, I will respect you if you ship my two OCs. Who knows... I might change my current plans. Hope that answered your question!

If anyone else as any questions, place them in the comments!

I DO NOT OWN AVATAR

"You're the… what?"

Reyna shifted in her seat as she was forced to watch Iroh contemplate what she had just said.

"But that- that is impossible. The current Avatar would be at least my age. But you-"

He stopped, squeezing the bridge of his nose.

"I'm sorry, but I can't understand-"

"It was all my fault!" Reyna broke out. "I yelled at my stupid waterbending teacher and got lost in a feaking snowstorm / blizzard! Rezu always told me that I had too much stubbornness, but I didn't mean to lose it during a lesson. But she was so boring! And she wasn't even teaching waterbending right! How can a waterbender teach their own art wrong!"

Iroh stayed silent during Reyna's whole ramble. He only blinked a few times. But slowly his amber eyes widened like the growing moon.

"Reyna… Avatar Reyna…"

He set his teacup down, stood up, and walked to a locked chess with the symbol of a lotus inscribed on the top. Pulling out a small golden key, he opened it, and brought out a scroll. He handed the scroll to Reyna, who opened it.

"This… this is about me?"

Sure enough, the scroll listed everything about her time as the Avatar (date it was found out, her different teachers, her family and friends). It also included her disappearance.

"Avatar Reyna disappeared 100 years ago in the north pole. It was said that she was caught in a passing snow storm and froze to death. Her body was never found."

Reyna jerked up. "But that's impossible! For the Avatar spirit to pass on to be reincarnated, the Avatar must-"

"Die."

Black spots seemed to swarm her vision as she tried to stand up. She tried to breathe but the air refused to go into her lungs.

"Die- But- But that's- impossible. I'm not-not dead. DO I LOOK dead- HA!" Iroh placed a hand onto her shoulder.

"Reyna. It's okay to be alarmed. You have every reason to. But you need to try to think straight, so you don't do anything rash."

Reyna only looked at him with her alarmed eyes.

"Breath."

He took a deep breath, counting to five with his fingers. Then exhaled, counting down from five. Reyna followed his example. They stayed there until Reyna had calmed down. The trembling Avatar laid her head down onto Iroh's shoulder and let out a sob. The retired general rubbed a hand onto her back, shushing her softly.

"It's ok. You'll get through this."

They separated, Reyna's eyes now bloodshot. She shuffled softly.

"I'm sorry."

Iroh tilted his head. "What for?"

"Everything! Sneaking onto the ship. Causing trouble with Zuko. Forcing you to watch me break down-"

"You have no need to apologize for any of that." Iroh interrupted. "I'm glad you're onboard the ship. You're the only one I can talk to without you falling asleep."

Reyna stifled a laugh.

"And I think my nephew likes you more than he lets on."

Reyna gave Iroh a confused look. "What? No. You have completely misread him."

"Oh, my mistake." It didn't sound like he thought he had mistaken. "Now, it's late. I think it's time you went to bed."

"WHAT! But I-"

"You need your sleep if you want to help me research how to get you back to your correct time. And I will do some myself after you leave."

Reyna beamed, which was surprisingly possible for her eyes were still red. "Thank you Iroh! Thank the spirits!"

Iroh beamed back. "Don't thank me yet, young one. I'll see what I can read up on tonight, and tomorrow morning we'll talk again. Does that sound good?"

"Good? It sounds perfect! Thank you!"

Reyna started to walk out then stopped. "Good night Iroh. And I mean it. Thank you." Then she was gone, closing the door behind her.

Iroh looked at the scroll in front of him and signed. "I wasn't expecting this." He told himself. He looked at the door. "I refuse to fail her like I failed him. Don't worry Reyna, I'll find a way home."

I promise.

I know I say this a lot but I want to send a THANK YOU to everyone who is currently reading this. I'm sorry about the wait between each chapter, and I can't promise that there won't be another wait after this one. I can promise that I will try my hardest to have the next chapter written as quickly as possible.

I know this last week was Thanksgiving break, so I should have had plenty of time to write and published this chapter.

Four words: I discovered Gravity Falls.

I watched both seasons in my free time, plus the shorts. (I loved them all!)

Anyway... I finally wrote this thing and now you can read it. Yeah!

Chapter Song

(I was stuck between two... so I chose both)

Thank you everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
