Hey everyone!

Look who finally wrote another chapter! This author! WHOA!

I meant to post this before Christmas, but that didn't work. So here it is before New Years!

Quick Note

I re-read this story and I think that I'm moving slower than I wanted to. So, I added a long time skip. THsi chapter is based around two years after Zuko was banished. I mention this within the chapter itself, but Just wanted to add this.

Happy Reading!

(I don't own Avatar. Only my OCs)

Ever since Reyna told Iroh about her... secret, she had visited his chamber as much as she could. The two found out a little bit about "Avatar Reyna".

Supposedly, she lived a thousand years ago, but vanished when she went to train in the South Pole for waterbending, she vanished.

There wasn't much else.

Iroh promised that they would still keep searching, but it was hared to keep hoping.

It had been a little more than two years since Zuko had been banished, and she hoped that the two were friends enough for him not to turn her in.

But, on the other hand, he was desperate for his father's love and approval.

Whenever she though about that, a wave of depression shifted into her mind. It wasn't Zuko's fault this his dad was a soul-less jerk who was no reason to be crazy.

"THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!"

Here she was again, the subject of one of Zuko's tantrums.

"WE'VE CHECKS EVERYWHERE! WHERE! IS! HE!"

After another scream of ferry, he face planted on his plain, white, mattress.

Reyna looked at the door, considering making a run for it.

Instead, she stood up, walked over to the prince, and sat down next to him.

She twirled her fingers, pondering what to say.

Finally-

"Hey, know you're going though a hard time, and you hit rock-bottom, and you have no where to go and your stuck on a ship-"

Zuko lifted his head to give her a "what is your point" look.

"-but you're not alone. Not really." She paused, rubbing the back of her neck. "I mean, you have your Uncle Iroh. Me. Tao the cook's nice once you get to know him."

Zuko sat up and placed his head in his hands. He was still silent.

In the back of her mind, Reyna face palmed.

It was official. She was terrible at pep talks.

How did Rezu make it look so easy?

Than, magical, Reyna got an idea.

"Hey," She nudge the scared prince. "I have an idea."

Zuko look up. "What?" His voice was hoarse from screaming.

Reyna stood up, and offered him her hand. "Trust me, will you?"

Zuko took her hand.

"Uh, Rin... I'm not sure this was a good idea."

The two were alone on the deck. The wind was crazy, bashing into the ship with a crazed Airbender.

(Reyna regretted that comparison as soon at it hit her.)

"It's fine. I always did stuff like this back home. We'll be fine."

"I'm not sure being dead counts as being fine."

"We're not going to die. I'm too stubborn to die like this."

Reyna was standing by the railed end, looking up at the sky.

Stars dotted the midnight canvas, creating a pattern.

A smile was adorned on her face as wind threw her hair around.

Zuko, on the other hand, was clenching the rail for dear life, his eyes squeezed shut.

Reyna couldn't help but laugh. "Come on Zuko! Open your eyes!"

"No. Never."

Reyna jerked her foot into his.

"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!"

(Thankfully the wind carried a lot of his volume away.)

"That was for being a coward and not opening your eyes. Look!" She pointed at the sky.

He looked up, and Reyna swore that she haw him gasp.

Blues and purple hues were painted across the night sky, with small burning dots of stars. Tiny bits of navy were sprinkled around here and there. It was-

"Beautiful." Zuko's eyes were wide, a smile on his lips.

Reyna nudged him lightly. "Told you that you would like this."

Zuko didn't respond. Instead, he gripped Reyna's hand tightly. She looked at their intertwined hand with a surprise look.

Then she looked back at the wonder that played out before them.

A fluff chapter with Zuko and Reyna!

This was oddly fun to write.

Once again, I'm sorry about not posting this before Christmas. I always like to reread the chapters before posting as I saw a lot of mistakes. But don't worry! I fixed them and now here it is!

- Zuko still doesn't know Reyna's real name. I'm still debating when she is going to tell him.

- Tao the cook has been mentioned. You'll meet him later. Iroh and him are friends.

- I finally finished the movie Titanic. In honor of Jack and Rose, I based a little bit of the last scene on their signature "I'm flying scene". No, I didn't have that exactly because I couldn't think of a scenario with them doing that.
