The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild - Gerudo Town night theme

The first thing he was aware of as consciousness slowly began to return to him, was just how comfortable he was. He felt as if his head was nestled comfortably within a warm embrace, hair gently brushed out of his face.

He felt two gentle warm hands caressing his face, lovingly pampering his ears, the caring attention nearly putting him back to sleep. There was a gentle voice that sang softly to him, serving to slowly rouse him from his unexpected bout of sleep.

He blinked blearily, blue eyes once more open and taking in the world around him. The first thing he noticed was just whose lap it was that his head was nestled in between.

His eyes widened slightly when he glanced up, the blue lipstick covered lips of the Gerudo chief grinning down at him, a cute red color tinting her cheeks.

"Good morning, Mr Hero." She greeted lowly, gazing down at him with those deep green eyes. "I wasn't sure you'd ever wake up. I see now that the stories of you being such a heavy sleeper weren't all hot air." She laughed lightly, humming gleefully down at him as she brushed the back of her hand against his cheeks.

"Although, I suppose you did deserve some rest after all you went through, and to think you'd done so for me, makes my heart skip a beat." She explained, bending down so that her lips were only a few inches from his.

He sucked in a surprised breath, cheeks warming when he realized what a precarious situation he was in. Quickly glancing away from the beautiful woman whose thighs his head was nestled between, he realized that he'd been clothed in some sort of traditional looking Gerudo garb, presumably one made for Hylian men. It left most of his chest exposed, something that the woman he was resting on took great pleasure in exploring with her hands.

"No one expected you to return so quickly, and at most they expected you to return empty handed as well. But, I'm glad you exceeded their expectations of you." She muttered lowly, making a noise of content as she ran her hands over his chest.

His face flushed hot as his brain finally caught up to what was going on. He went to sit up, but she grabbed his arm before he could go anywhere, pulling him back down to the bed before she spun around, instead now straddling him. She grinned widely down at him as she pinned his arms in place on her bed, taking great pleasure in the physical response she was getting from his body.

"Do you ever wonder why the Gerudo have a law that forbids any man to enter the village?" She asked lowly, leaning down so her body was only a few inches away from his own. He shivered as her hot breath caressed his ear, face threatening to turn into a tomato as she pressed her lips to his ear, leaving a blue imprint of her lips as she slowly pulled away.

He swallowed thickly as she stared down at him, biting her lips, eyes half lidded. "Most people believe it is due to Gerudo women hating men, or thinking they are a weaker vessel. And, while that may be true for most here, that isn't the reason behind why the law exists to this day." She explained hotly, leaning back down to place another slowly drawn out kiss on his other ear that left his body shaking.

Thinking quickly, which in hindsight, wasn't the smartest thing he could've done in that moment, he asked her what the real reason was. "Then why…?"

"Why you ask? Oh, it's honestly quite simple. Long ago, the Gerudo weren't a part of the kingdom of Hyrule, but outsiders to the kingdom. As for our current law forbidding men into our land, it is actually a law that has since changed the reason for its existence." She explained slowly, eyes half lidded as she gazed down at him.

"One thing you must understand, is that as a tribe that consists of purely women, it tends to get tedious after so long. The law forbidding men used to be for the protection of our tribe and sacred rituals, but now, it exists as a warning to men." She grinned, leaning down, her lips hovering an inch from his own. "Because the women of the desert tribe cannot hold themselves back when they find a man who they deem as worthy, and when he's captured, he won't ever leave the desert again." She whispered.

His eyes widened in surprise, mouth opening to say something. Unfortunately, he was promptly and immediately silenced when Riju slammed her lips to his, using his moment of surprise to her advantage. Link's eyes threatened to roll to the back of his head as her tongue explored his mouth, an involuntary moan escaping his lips.

When she eventually pulled away, a trail of saliva connecting their lips, she'd left him a breathless and a blushing mess. He shivered underneath her touch as she ran her hands along his chin, eyes greedily exploring his sharp and handsome features.

She giggled at his expression, leaning back to instead sit on his lap, a contented sigh slipping free from her lips. "Oh, but those times have since long gone, and the law only exists now as a means of honoring our past." She explained, smiling down at him.

Link sighed, relief filling him.

He saw it now, what was going on. She was teasing him, probably to get back at him for running in and breaking the law of her land.

He could see that as being the case, and how she was going to mess with his head to get back at him.

Now, that being said, he quickly began to wonder why she still had him pinned underneath her. All that teasing had quickly made him uncomfortable, and the way she was sitting on him wasn't making his situation any better.

"I see…" He coughed nonchalantly, averting his eyes. "So, am I free to go?" He asked, almost too quickly. He was afraid if he stayed there any longer she'd become aware of the sword within his undergarments, and how said sword was currently stabbing her in her read end.

She pouted, a dangerous glint in her eye that sent warning bells off within his mind. She leaned back a bit more, putting more of her weight on his lap as she sighed, pretending to be disappointed. "Oh, I don't recall saying you get to leave just yet. You are in my land after all, there are laws and rules to follow if you want to continue to be allowed to come and go." She added slyly, shifting around to get more comfortable.

He bit his lips hard enough to draw blood, sucking in a sharp gasp. "O-Oh, laws…?" He asked, voice tight.

"Indeed. As the Chief of the Gerudo, I get first pick of a man if I find him desirable, even if someone else had their hands on you beforehand." She explained with a coy grin. "And, before you go on about your relationship with any other woman, I don't care. I'm more than willing to share…" She whispered lowly, leaning down to press her lips to his own.

He moaned in surprise as she took the initiative, and he supposed that there was no getting out of this situation. However, he also found himself deciding that he wanted this too, even though he barely knew her.

He found himself recalling the talk he had with Impa recently, about how he'd sacrifice his own happiness if it meant making others happy in this desolate ruined kingdom.

Perhaps his feelings for her right now were only physical, but he knew given time he could grow to love her. He'd have to bring this up with Purah of course, hoping she would be willing to participate.

But, before this went too far, he wanted to make sure this was exactly what Riju wanted. He wouldn't have it if she was doing all this just to please him because of what he'd done for her and her people.

He had to make sure.

Eventually she pulled away, leaving him breathless once again. He swallowed thickly, pushing aside his body's physical feelings for a moment. "Lady Riju, are you sure this is what you want?" He asked seriously.

She rolled her eyes, as if thinking he was joking. But his serious expression gave her pause. He was thinking about her, how she would handle this, what may become of them after the fact. He was thinking with his heart, which was more than she could say for a lot of men.

"This is what I want. The moment you crashed through my town walls I knew it in my heart, despite what Buliara insisted on. I could see it in your eyes, you had the eyes of the man who was going to save my people." She admitted genuinely, laying down, her breasts pressed to his chest.

"Without your support, we would have no chance to stop Vah Naboris. But now, peace is finally on the horizon for my people, and…" She explained, before pausing as she instead pressed her lips to his once more. This time it was gentle, softer and more earnest, small. "And I want to make the one responsible for that feel good…" She whispered genuinely, gaze softening.

Before she next spoke, he searched her gaze, noticing the strong woman he'd assumed she always was begin to vanish as the person underneath that tough and indomitable persona fought its way to the surface.

"So, are going to allow me to do that…?" She asked quietly, searching his gaze. Something in her eyes was pleading, desperate for him to say yes.

His expression softened into a smile, a genuine look on his face. "If that will make you happy, then I won't deny you." He admitted.

Her pretty blue lips curled up into a gleeful grin, relief filling her voice. "Good, now shut up and let me kiss you…" She quickly exclaimed, slamming her lips to his again...

The sun eventually rolled around to once again cast its warmth across the sands of the Gerudo Desert. Hidden within the privacy of the Gerudo chief's bedroom, Link slowly awoke as the glare became too much to ignore.

The man blinked blearily as consciousness slowly returned to him again.

He failed to stifle a yawn that burst forth, afterwards glancing down when he took notice of the warm weight draped across his naked body. His expression softened when he took in the sleeping face of the Gerudo Chieftain, her naked body laying comfortably on top of his, hidden only by a thin yet extremely comfortable blanket.

He lay his head back down again, smiling lightly to himself as he gently ran his hands down her back. The events of the night prior came flying back to him in waves, and he felt his face burning at the vivid memories that had cemented themselves permanently inside his mind's eye.

Of all the ways he'd expected his excursion to the harsh and crushing desert lands to go, ending up having the leader of the people of the sand fall head over heels for him was not what he'd ever expected to happen. More then that, he also didn't see himself keeping her up for hours in a fit of heated and blissful passion, but here he was, laying in her bed with her beautiful naked body spread over his own.

He felt his heart warm at the memory, the image of her face in his mind, the sound of her voice during the fit of lovemaking. He'd made her a very happy woman, and that made him happy.

His only regret lay in the reality that, after he went forth and stopped the rampant Devine Beast, he would have to leave her and the desert behind for some time. He couldn't afford to stay by her side forever, despite how many times she begged him to the night prior. He had the rest of the kingdom to save.

And, speaking of her, that was something else he realized that night.

He wasn't just a pretty face that she liked, or anything else. His presence in her land made the stress she'd been suffering for years, the boiling anxiety of being a young woman who was thrust into her position unwillingly, lighten.

The entire time he'd spoken with her before laying with her, she held an air of superiority, of strength, power and confidence. She was strong, a tall figure that her people and others could look up to when in times of duress. When issues plagued her land and her people, she did everything within her power to aid them.

She was, at face value, everything her people needed, and always when they needed her.

But, underneath all that seemingly unwavering strength and determination, lay a young woman who'd barely been keeping it together. For all of her outward strength and display of confidence lay an ocean of doubt, fear, weakness, and despair.

She showed her people she was strong because she had to be for them, not because she was.

She became a smart battle tactician because she had to for her people, not because she was talented in the art.

She stood tall for her tribe, to give them someone to look up to after her late mother's unfortunate passing, because otherwise who would they turn to?

Even when she was only twelve at the time, she strived, struggled, bled and wept for her people, all because she had to.

But, that all lay on a foundation of self doubt and fear, fear that she could never hold a candle to the mighty woman she'd descended from. Fear that she'd fail her people, fail her land and those that looked up to her for help.

And in the middle of their night of passion, he saw that wall she'd built up around herself fall apart in an ocean of tears, tears that she'd been holding back for years.

She showed a side of herself that she'd hidden away from everyone, perhaps even her own personal guard, Buliara.

The weight of everything, of her people, her duty as chief, and as a person, had been crushing her for years. Because, despite her boasting, despite her promises to save her people and protect them at any cost, she knew she was incapable of bringing peace to the Devine Beast. She knew only a Champion could accomplish such a feat…

And they were all believed long dead…

Until he burst his way into her court, and demanded, ordered practically, that she allow him to simply help her. He didn't understand the powerful force his presence and words had on her, and didn't understand what his actions meant until their time together only some few hours ago.

He was a pillar of power, one that she desperately needed in her life, someone to rely on that would always be there to make things right. And before the weight of everything buried her entirely, he came into her life and became that pillar she oh so desperately needed.

That's why he felt terrible about what he had to do, that he had to leave her to her devices while he went off and saved the kingdom. He felt just as bad as when he had to leave Purah behind too, knowing how she felt about him.

He decided that he'd pay Purah a much needed visit after he released Vah Naboris from Calamity Ganon's control. He wasn't leaving this desert until the Gerudo were no longer under the terror and threat posed by the Devine Beast.

And that brought him to another realization.

He had more than just the Devine Beast's to deal with. Besides the growing infestation of monsters across the land, there was a new threat that made itself known.

The Demon Queen Ghirahim.

Hyrule wouldn't be out of danger until she was dealt with too. And how thoroughly she'd fought him off, he knew he desperately needed to acquire the legendary sword that sealed the darkness before their next encounter, lest it be his last…

He sighed, mind already numbing with the details of the journey he desperately needed to begin once more.

"Mmmhmmm…"

A moan drew his attention downward again, blessed with witnessing the chief of the Gerudo as she was slowly roused from her passion induced sleep.

She blinked blearily, dim green eyes focusing up at the face smiling down at her. He grinned down at her, kissing her gently as she woke up. "Good morning." He hummed softly.

She hummed lowly, kicking her legs slightly as she snuggled up to him, resting her head on his chest. "Hmmm… Can't we just stay like this for a while…?" She asked quietly, knowing the answer she'd receive anyway.

He sighed, getting lost in her deep dark green eyes for a long moment. He truly would like to merely stay here in bed with her for a while, but he knew he had to get up if he was to get anything important done.

Despite her pleading eyes telling him to stay with her for just a little bit longer.

"I have to go…" He said, disappointed as she was. "I'm sorry I can't stay… I've got to calm Vah Naboris first… And there's so much more to be done." He explained gently, running his hands through her long red locks, his hands finding themselves comfortably resting on her backside after a while.

She sighed sadly, but she wasn't going to talk him out of it. Truth be told, she knew as much as him that he needed to get going. As it stood, he was going to need her help in even approaching the Devine Beast.

Realizing that their moment together was going to come to an, at least temporary, end, she snuggled up a bit closer, pressing her lips to his once more. He didn't resist her approach, returning her love readily.

"Okay, we can set out for Vah Naboris… But, at least let me have a few more minutes with you…?" She conceded, blinking down at him in question.

He smiled. "Of course, Lady Riju." He added, playfully saying her formal title. Her cheeks flushed as he leaned up to capture her lips with his own.

They would set out for Vah Naboris soon, but she wasn't ready for him to leave yet. And he found himself incapable of denying her, at least for a little while longer.

That and, he found that he really enjoyed pressing his lips to hers, and how she'd respond…
