It had been two days since the U.A. Sports Festival. Chatter filled Class 1-A, the main subject still being the Sports Festival. Aizawa then walked in, the students taking their places.

"Alright, everyone. We're going to talk about hero names later, but for now, we're going to talk about the nominations you received from the Sports Festival." Aizawa said, clicking a button on a remote.

A screen appeared behind Aizawa, some of then students' names showing up alongside their total nominations. Zen looked for his own. 3,743 nominations. He smiled, being at the top. Kitsuna was under him, with 2,238 nominations. Kyosuke was under her with 988 nominations. Ketsugi was further down, with only 140.

"Now, some of you may not have gotten any nominations, but all of you will go get some work-place experience. We'll get to that later, though. For now, Midnight will help you all pick out your hero names." Aizawa said as Midnight walked in.

"Hello." Midnight said, waving to the class.

Most students repeated her greeting. Others fawned over her. Zen, however, knew Midnight. His father had worked with her on multiple occasions, and had introduced them. Zen waved at her, to which she smiled.

"So, I'll have final approval of your names. I've got some canvases for you to write your hero names on. Once all of you are done, we'll see how good they are. Now, go! Make your names!" Midnight said.

After almost twenty minutes, the entire class finally had their names picked. They then began telling their hero names. Eventually, Ketsugi was called up. He walked to the front of the class, nervous.

"My name will now be, Typhoon!" Ketsugi said, slamming his board down for everyone to see.

"Ooh! That's pretty good!" Midnight said, looking at the board.

Ketsugi took his seat. After a few more students went up, Kitsuna went to share her name.

"I shall be known as the Fox Hero: Ninetails!" Kitsuna said, holding her board above her head.

"What a pretty name!" Midnight responded.

After Kitsuna sat, Kyosuke grabbed his board and went to the front.

"Mine will be the Leviathan." Kyosuke said, holding his board with one of his tendrils.

"Creepy, but fitting." Midnight said. Kyosuke felt like he get shot through the heart.

A few more students went up after Kyosuke, eventually leaving only one student. Zen walked up to the front.

"I already knew what mine would be. Something my mother called me my whole life. My hero name is Elemancer, the Element Hero." Zen said, holding his board in front of himself.

"Perfect." Midnight said, giving him a thumbs up.

Zen went back to his chair. The class's normal activities then kicked back in.

Later that day, after school let out, Zen and Kitsuna were walking to the train station. When they got there, Zen noticed that Kitsuna seemed a bit on edge.

"Hey, are you okay?" Zen said, looking at his friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just, I've really gotta ask you something." Kitsuna said, unable to make eye contact with Zen.

"What is it?" Zen asked.

"Will you, uh, will you be my boyfriend? I really like you Zen. You've helped me train, helped me study. Even at the Sports Festival, after our battle, you came to make sure I wasn't badly hurt. So, will you go out with me?" Kitsuna asked. Zen was taken aback.

"Um, Kitsuna, I like you too. I mean, since back when we met. It's only grown since then. So, yes. I will definitely go out with you." Zen answered.

Kitsuna yelped with joy, jumping up with excitement. She hugged Zen, who returned the hug. Their train then got there.

The next day, back at school, Aizawa gave the students who didn't receive nominations a list of pro heroes who had offered to mentor students. As for the students who did receive offers, he gave them their lists of nominations. Zen sighed when he got his list of almost four thousand offers.

"You've got till the end of the week to pick your pro. Good luck." Aizawa said.

"This is gonna be so hard." Kitsuna said, scanning her list.

"No kidding." Kyosuke remarked, flipping through his.

"I kinda feel bad for Zen." Ketsugi said, looking at his best friend.

Zen had laid his head on the pile in front of him. He turned to face his friends who were staring at him.

"What?" Zen said, still using his offers as a pillow.

"This is gonna be hell for you, isn't it?" Ketsugi said. Zen groaned and turned his head so he was face first in the offers.

"To be fair, Kitsuna's not too far off from Zen." Kyosuke said.

"Oh yeah, only like, what, 1,500 offers separate us?" Kitsuna said, sarcastically.

"I've got it the easiest." Ketsugi said, looking at his list.

"I know who I want." Zen said, having seen a particular name at the top.

"That fast?!" Ketsugi said, amazed.

"Well who is it?" Kitsuna asked.

"You won't like it, Kitsuna. You're the Fox Hero, right?" Zen asked jokingly.

"Yeah, so what?" Kitsuna replied.

"I'm gonna train under the Tiger Hero: Cat Scratch." Zen said.

"And?" Kitsuna said, a bit confused.

"Tigers hunt foxes." Zen explained.

"Good grief, Zen. That joke was terrible." Kitsuna said.

"Oh yeah? I thought it was purr-fect." Zen responded, making Ketsugi and Kyosuke laugh.

The rest of the day went on, with Zen, Ketsugi, and Kyosuke making numerous cat puns and cat related jokes, much to Kitsuna's dismay.
