Kaede and Setsuna after entering their dimension encountered a portal with Chachamaru's face on it.
Chachamaru: (greets with a smile) Hello there.
Kaede: (greets) Hello
Setsuna: (greets) Hello
Chachamaru: (says stern) Your mission in this training exercise is to assassinate the 24 enemies within the forest without getting spotted. If one of you gets caught, you both fail the training exercise.
Setsuna: (says with a smile) I'll fly towards the trees and attack the enemies from the air.
Kaede: (says with a smile) Whereas I'll navigate the forest on the ground and find the enemies you spot in the distance.
Setsuna then started to fly into the forest as Kaede dashed through the forest. They then stopped as Setsuna spotted an enemy which was a robot vampire and hid within the trees. Setsuna after doing that then draws her sword and aims it in the direction of the enemy. Setsuna then flies towards the enemy from above and strikes him in the head.
Setsuna after that jumps back onto the branches of another tree. Two other enemies charged towards the enemy that she killed, but Kaede transformed into a giant frog that gobbled up the two enemies.
Setsuna then spots another enemy and she was ready to go for the kill, but her Pactio card's effects were over and she got tired and hungry.
However she saw an apple in the tree and ate it to quell her hunger so she can focus on killing the enemy without getting spotted by the enemy itself.
Setsuna was about to jump down to assassinate her enemy, but Kaede with sign language told her to stop as she saw two other enemies near the enemy.
Kaede then threw a giant Fūma shuriken at the enemies and it killed all three of the enemies. Setsuna was grateful that Kaede was able to sense those bad guys, otherwise they would have failed the training session.
The two then dashed through the forest, but when they saw more enemies, they then hid behind the trees. The two watched to see how many enemies there were and they counted the number of enemies and it was a lot.
Setsuna: (whispers to Kaede with an anxious and hushed tone) Crap, how the hell are we gonna deal with them?
Kaede: (whispers with a smile) Simple, we lure them away to a big trap.
Setsuna then smiled as she then decided to create multiple clones of herself and have them hide within the trees and throw fake versions of her sword at the enemies to make them frantic. The clones then started to jump through the trees in the direction that Setsuna and Kaede came from in order to lure the enemies to the lake and have them drown.
They were successful with the strategy as the enemies then saw the shadow of the Setsuna clone in the water and this made them chase after the Setsuna clone and enter the water which made them get electrocuted to death and sink within the ocean like rocks falling to the ocean floor.
Back in the forest, Setsuna and Kaede then dashed into the interior of the forest, only to find out that the next batch of enemies which was far into the distance was large.
The large batch of enemies were guarding a house that looked like the Forbidden city from China. Inside the house is a Vampire robot who looked like a rich person wearing a tuxedo.
Kaede: (whispers with confidence) I think the Vampire Robot in the tuxedo is the leader of the Vampire robots we have to assassinate.
Setsuna: (whispers stern and serious) I think so, but I think we should kill all of the enemies before we kill the boss, otherwise we would get caught.
Kaede: (whispers with a cocky smile) I understand, but we need to kill the boss like a ninja, otherwise assassinating the enemies one by one will also make it more likely for us to get caught.
Setsuna: (asks confused with a hushed tone) But how are we gonna kill the boss like a ninja?
Kaede: (whispers with a smile) Simple we disguise ourselves as the enemy, sneak into the boss's room and poison his beverage.
Setsuna: (whispers) Great Idea, but how are we gonna disguise ourselves as the enemy?
Kaede: (whispers with a sly smile) Simple, we previously defeated some enemies so we can take their clothes.
Setsuna: (whispers with a smile) Not a fan of the idea, but I will do it.
Setsuna and Kaede then dashed to dress up as the enemy as they then entered the palace grounds in secret. However they were both caught by an enemy and the enemies charged towards them as they started to fire guns at them.
Setsuna: (yells angrily) DAMN IT! WE GOT CAUGHT!
Kaede: (yells at Setsuna) Setsuna! We need to escape the dimension!
Setsuna: (roars angrily) OH HELL NO! I AIN'T LEAVING UNTIL I FINISH MY JOB!
Kaede: (yells at Setsuna) Setsuna! We failed the mission! We have to leave!
Setsuna: (yells in protest) But…..
Kaede then placed her hands on Setsuna and looked at her with a serious manner.
Kaede: (says grim and serious) Setsuna, this is only a training exercise, we can try again another time.
Setsuna then realized that Kaede was right and that this was a training mission and that they had to flee and return before they got hurt by robot vampire training dummies. The robot vampires were even flying in the air to prevent the two from leaving, but Kaede threw shurikens at the robot vampires that were attacking them from above as Setsuna attacked the attackers from behind by attacking them with multiple Shimnei ryu sword techniques. The two arrived at the magic door and as they did they finally escaped the dimension through the door.
The two were able to escape through the magic door and they entered the basement of Evangeline where they met up with Chachamaru.
Chachamaru: (asks with a smile) Did you complete the mission?
Setsuna: (says sad) We were, but we had a nasty twist at the end.
Chachamaru: (says grim) You mean the sneaking into the mansion part of the mission?
Kaede: (says with a smile) It was easy for me, but for Setsuna it was hard for her.
Setsuna: (says sad) Because it reminded me of the time I had to sneak into the school and assassinate Negi.
Kaede: (says with a smile) Don't worry about it, because missions such as sneaking into buildings and assassinating the opponent are not missions suitable for Shimnei Ryu sword fighters.
Setsuna: (asks Kaede) but what do Shimnei Ryu sword fighters do?
Kaede: (says to Setsuna) Shimnei Ryu swordfighters have the purpose of slaying monsters and performing exorcism and because of that, their style of fighting is not meant for assassination.
Setsuna: (says pissed) Tell that to Kraz because he hired me as an assassin to kill Negi.
Kaede: (says to Setsuna) And that decision was probably foolish because you would not be able to assassinate Negi in a quiet manner and you would have left a trace that would expose you as the assassin.
Setsuna knew that Kaede was right because even if Negi was alone and it was easy to get away with killing him, she still would be caught as the assassin of Negi. Plus it was also hard to kill him because Konoka (whom Setsuna thought was some random girl who thought she knew Setsuna herself at the time) would always recognize Setsuna and say hi to her in a cheerful way. Setsuna made the foolish decision to make a frantic face and run away which was also foolish on her part because it made people suspicious about her behavior.
Setsuna looked into the glass that Konoka was in as she hoped Konoka and Lingshen were able to complete their mission.
