Day Of Rain

On Shirou end closes door behind him and walks down the hallway towards staircase again to see Mr. Kurosaki washing the dishes alongside Yuzu. Who is handing off each individual plate to him and with sponge scrubbing the insides then places them on side counter. As the water sprays heavy down towards sink Mr. Kurosaki notices him walking towards the kitchen holding the two plates which have food stains on them. "Oh it's you Shirou mind giving those to Yuzu please?"

"Yeah, here you go."

He hands over plates and forks to her for she put those dish into the wet sink."Thank you." Begins squish some soap on to them and Isshin grabs plates from sink and scrubbing once more. Isshin turns and asks "how are things going with Ichigo?"

"Uh good, it's just... I been meaning call my guardian Taiga who been that since my adopted father died two years ago."

Yuzu stops for moment and looks back at Shirou and her eyebrows going up. As her father continues washes the dishes and he turns his head stares at large picture of Massiki. "That's shameful to hear am sorry for you're loss. You can use the house phone right next big portrait of my wife."

Shirou waves his hand in the air "Kiritsugu died happily at very least, still thank you though." Turns his back walks away only hear in backgrounds Isshin calm yet gentle voice "No I should be thanking you Shirou after all you made my son actually smile."

Shirou goes near staircase on small coffee table there was the house phone see up above a hanging portrait of Ichigo mother she by all counts beautiful. Yet Isshin words only reminded him a conversation he had at Homurahara Academy. ("Those words actually smiling? I've get this sense I was told once by someone at school who was it that told me? Was Shinji, Ayako, Taiga or Sakura? I guess doesn't really matter in the end I know it will come to me at some point.")

"Huh?" He picks up phone dials his number and unexpectedly. "Hello this Emiya residence who am speaking to?"

"Sakura!?"

"Senpai! Are you alright I heard you saved some classmates from Karakura High School and got really injured?"

"I'm fine now anyways is Taiga there?"

"Yeah she is and just pasted out drinking little to much."

He looks at the pedant in his hand.

"Well tell her that I got opportunity to accomplish my dream in Karakura town. I'm going have to be traveling back and forth between Fukuyi City and Karakura town from now on. Meaning I would not have time make dinner."

"..."

Her voice changed and became more lower in tone. "Senpai I'm glad your ok and am happy you have this opportunity but I'm... Oh never mind, Senpai am happy you're able accomplish it."

Puts his hand on coffee table straights his back moves in closer. His eyebrows goes down as he looks back at portrait.

"Sakura moving forward I'll have to rely on you cook more is that ok?"

Her voice changes again to a higher tone. "Thats perfectly fine after all it's about time I surpassed you Senpai!"

Shirou wages his finger in the air back and forth.

"You're Senpai still has few tricks up his sleeve Sakura,so show me how far you come these past two years?"

He can somewhat imagines Sakura smiling with dark purple hair and all.

"This reminds me of the first time I saw you Senpai after school. Practicing a high jump failing over and over again yet you never gave up even when it seem pointless."

Looks down at his feet stares at them a second or two longer. Takes deep breath that could be heard cross the room.

"I think I can somewhat remember but not specifically when because I know that it was after Kiritsugu had died and I was in so much grief my hero the person that saved me from fire had left me. I felt frustrated, depressed, and alone I needed do something focus on and would get me closer to Kiritsugu dream he'd bestow on to me."

Notices red pedant lighted up for some time now seem missed that detail when Nameless started listening in on his conversation. ("Go figure Nameless was being nosy you know for being heroic spirit he sure loves to annoy me yet why is that?") Takes in another deep breath and just focuses hearing Sakura words more clearly.

"Wow Senpai I didn't know that your father had such impact on you like me..."

Thighs the grip on the pedant as his right hand fingers still shining threw light.

"Yeah guess with whats been going on recently has really push me into talking more about my past and dream of being hero of justice. Sakura I've been meaning to give back the pedant you told me hold. So by any chance when do you need it back?"

She immediately spoke up with strong tone voice.

"You can keep it after all it did manged save you from being killed and I doubt Tohsaka Senpai would care if I give it to you. After this was the first time she'd ever talk to me..."

Scratches his hair up and down little bit and immediately stops to hear some small little steps in the distance?

"That is true Sakura the pedant really was good luck charm even though its hard GRIP On Too. I'm grateful you let me keep it Sakura and I'll talk you when once everything is settled here in Karakura Town."

"Ok bye Senpai."

He hands up the phone squints his eyes at the pedant just breaths in out heavy once and puts annoying jewel back in the side pocket of the pants. Looks up at portrait one finally time it says Massik Forever. Turns back around as Isshin places the last of dishes into cabinets cracks his knuckles. Shirou looks across dining room to not find Ichigo's sister's? Walks up asks Isshin the question that been lingering in his mind for about a minute or two.

"So where did Yuzu run off too?"

Isshin puts a rag on his shoulders. "She and her Sister Karin went to their rooms order to get ready for tomorrow."

Shirou turns his head little bit sideways squints his eyes at man before him."What's tomorrow if you don't mind me asking Mr. Kurosaki?"

He rises his hands in the air with big smile then points a finger at Shirou chest."A family gathering at my wife grave and I want you come along as well, Shirou."

He of course takes few steps back and puts hand behind his neck looks down at wooden clean floor."I'm happy to come but what about others? Will they be fine with me tagging along?" Isshin immediately addresses his concerns by stating."Yes am sure they be fine with it in fact Karin and Yuzu probably be more happy with your company. Then having deal with their clumsy and annoying dad every year of this event." He says all that yet smiles either way which only reminds him of that day seven years ago with same happy expression on Kiritsugu face.

"That's reassuring, so I guess you're alright me staying here for the night?"

"Yeah make yourself at home."

Then notices on floor in corner a small refrigerator which had some dust on it and its cable wasn't connected to the wall outlet.

"Wow I didn't know you had other fridge?"

Isshin grabs water bottle off the counter opens the cap and takes drink only carry it after his done. Holds it with other hand moves down to his wrist follow by an eye brow being raised up."Oh that, it was until dam thing broke on me years ago use to store beer in when Massiki was live. Funny story about fridge see I got it when I just opened Kurosaki clinic. I want say around the time when Masaki started attending a university as well. Original was meant for Massiki as birthday gift given her family side very unorthodox to say the least."

Neon green spark appears in Shirou eyes for moment there as he stares down at fridge with more focus and Isshin quietly notices."Can I take a look at your fridge and see if I can repair it?"

"Sure knock yourself out Mr. Handy man."

Ichigo continues look down at his watch for minute or two state in calm and quiet voice "Wow its tomorrow... Hay Rukia can I take a day off tomorrow?" She of course rises eyebrow and moves her head back. "No, soul reapers don't get days off we're on job from sun rise to sunset anticipating a hollow appears in the world of living. Why you asking Ichigo?"

He clutches both fists at same time follow by him closing his eyes takes in deep breath in and out few times.

"Because tomorrow is anniversary of the day that my mom died June 17. No actually, the day she was killed!"

Ichigo opens his eyes looks out the window see younger reflection of himself shorter but with orange hair a big smile on his face. He turns away as his eyebrows tighten closer into his eyes it asks "I didn't know that uh..."

"Its none you're concern to begin with Rukia all I need now is some fresh air just clear my head. I'll be back later."

She stands there to see him leave the room not making a sound at all.

He begins walking down few blocks of away from neighborhood and comes across a street corner as it becomes noon. Notices Tatsuki, Orihima, Ayako all together walking down opposite of street? They see Ichigo on other side the road Orihma waves her back and forth at him as cars pass by. "Hi Ichigo!" Puts his hand in the air and squints at group of girls and asks "Hello Orihima, why is Ayako with you guys?"

Tatsuki moves in front her states "We been hanging out with together all day showing her the different land marks threw out Karakura town. Now we're taking Ayako back to Karakura High School order see other after school clubs." Orihima hands moves behind her back she tilts forward with those big brown eyes of hers. "You interested in coming with us order grasp what kinds of clubs there are Ichigo?"

He gives smile had his very chick bones spread up wide threw out the rest of his face. "No thank you I have some family business to take care of maybe next Orihima." Continues moves forward down sidewalk as sounds of a bus could be heard in the distance.

Tatsuki stops and other girls besides her look back. "Ichigo won't be at school tomorrow I know it. He never smiles like that not sense... His mother died."

Orihime places her hands on to her chicks "Ichigo mother died?!"

Ayako whos been silence has a finger underneath her chin. "That tempers the mood though that does remind me of something similar comes to mind specially with Shirou. He never smiles ever as well which is strange right? Even with me speaking my best jokes to rest the class whos laughing at them. His expression never changes just mundane and boring." Tatsuki asks "that's coincidence has Shirou smile before then?"

Looks up in the sky she quickly responds and states. "Sadly no... He's been like that sense I first met him."

"Huh...?!"

Ichigo continues his walk pasts past few parking lots and basket ball court starts remember memories he doesn't want to have the baggage with them. ("For as long I can remember I've been able see ghosts so clearly I couldn't tell the difference between living and dead. So I usually laugh it off. It didn't seem be a big problem cuz I always had my mother by my side.")

He stops and comes upon a dojo which some people where coming in and out of. Looks threw the window seeing men and woman doing karate moves with each other. ("By age of four is when I met Tatsuki we were both the same age. To her at least I had brightest hair and biggest smile always held my mother hand. In the eyes of Tatsuki I was total wimp in fact she high kicked me in my face! Was the first person ever make me cry and when my mother came pick me up I 'd brushed it off the pain and made this big grin like it didn't happen. Thats how I was in the beginning...

Starts moving his legs again as cars drive past along side sounds of honking being heard close by and on the side of his eye sees about three people sitting/ standing at a bus stop his hands in the pants pockets a person wearing suit and jacket quickly walks past him. ("That's what I thought and remember until that day few years later when I was nine years old it had been raining pretty hard that day I still clinging to my mother's hand. I loved her and never saw my mother cry or get mad once. When I was with her I knew I'll be okay not just me, Yuzu, Karin, then Dad loved her as much I did. She was center of our universe.")

Turns the corner passes by few convenient stores with green lights and other businesses like McDonald's and KFC where only separated by the road itself. As cars pulls in into the drive threw and whole groups of families walking out toward their individual vehicles. ("Dad told me once my name means one who protects. That's when I realized I too wanted to protect my mother. So when the river was way up that fateful day I saw this girl with no umbrella on edge of dirt ground. I'd to decided climb over the rail made my way towards her to stop the girl from going into the river and killing herself. Because I wanted to protect more people not just my mother or sisters. I heard my mother's voice in the background "NO ICHIGO!"

Next thing I knew...

I was on the ground and mother corpse was ON TOP OF ME! I didn't see what caused the large wound appeared in her chest and girl I wanted save was gone?!")

He finally arrives then stops at same river spot six years later. Puts his hand on the rail holding it tightly looks at the river with flow of blue water pushing in one direction.( I didn't come school for while after she'd died. Tatsuki hand come find me by the river. Where I'd walked to every day and night looking for my mother hopping she'll still be there. In the back my mind I knew she was dead just couldn't admit to myself at the time. After all I am the one who tore the heart out of our universe!")

Liens forward with both arms on the rail he looks upon the sun set in the distance as wind blows past him. Staring at yellow sun for while longer until goes down and begins get dark.

Ichigo opens the door to his room as Shirou is ironing Rukia's school clothes with ironing board? Rukia walks up to him states "that was in deed a long walk you took Ichigo."

"Yeah I need it Rukia, still though tomorrow going be long day."

Shirou wipes the clothes one final time with ironed. "Am finished with you're clothes Rukia and Ichigo I got you're clothes ironed earlier." Ichigo smirks rubs the back of his head and says "I guess I really was there walking the streets of Karakura Town few hours order for you accomplish that huh? Either way thank you."

Turns looks at Rukia squints his eyes at her "Did you put Shirou up this to do you're laundry Rukia?" She puts her hands in the air as Kon hanging on hanger like Jesus on cross. "Hay can someone get me down!?"

"Not until you're drying Kon." He states this while folds some clothes on Ichigo's bed and Kon slowly spins over and over again on a closet door knob. "I didn't ask for your opinion Shirou! After all your the one who put me in washer and dryer then ironed my body like I was some roasted beef!"

She state "I'd asked him for some help and I caution he didn't need to but Shirou did the laundry anyways without question." Only hear his voice afterwards as he places rest the clothes in the closet."Besides I can't refuse someone who asking for help. Its just not in my nature too and I simply like helping out no matter who or what the person is."

Ichigo crosses his arms "hmm just let me know if they're using you to escape from doing their own chores themselves Shirou." He grabs Kon off both the closet door knob and hanger for stuff animal walk over lays its head on Rukia's leg. "No its fine really am doing this out my own volition, anyways your father asked me come with you tomorrow is that ok Ichigo?"

"Yeah after cooking and doing our laundry you more then proven yourself Shirou maybe little bit too much. After all Yuzu trust you and Karin seems fine you. I get the sense you're older and mature then I am weird as that sounds?"

Red pedant lights up "I would put an asterisk to end of that." Shirou moves a hand on to his face just simply takes deep breath and hold it for second or two. "Yeah nice hear your annoying voice again Nameless. I've been waiting few hours when you speak with your wise words of wisdom." Inside pedant the gear begins turning once more. "Sorry to keep you waiting heroic idiot with a side stupidity at your service." He rises fist at the pedant opens his mouth about respond only to move it around from left, right then up and down.

Only look at Ichigo " Huh that's funny I'm pretty sure you're older then me?"

He rises an eyebrow states "really? But you act so mature how is that even possible?"

"I had grow up a lot faster than most others my adopted father Kiritsugu Emiya or old man I use to call him by. Always travel lot leaving me alone months on end. When old man did come home his luggage very unorganized and he couldn't cook for both us and almost burned the house down. So since then I did the cooking, cleaning and washing at Emiya residence. Don't get me started about Taiga cause that's another can worms." Ichigo sits down on char puts his hands behind his head yawns as both Rukia and Kon quietly listen to their conversation. "Which does explain lot on how your able to cook spicy karachi mentaiko."

Asks very simple question"Ichigo you're 15?"

"Yes and how did you know that?"

"Mr. Kurosuki told me when I fixed his small refrigerator I just had use my magecraft to analysis it's structure and see what was wrong." Shirou states this plainly and Ichigo rises an eyebrow subsequently opens his mouth. "Wait you actually got that piece of junk to work and threw your magic?" Nameless immediately cuts Shirou off to state "That's what your standard Shirou Emiya model capable of doing now maybe he'll get warranty on him next." Shirou simply just stares at the pedant which he is now certainly wearing around his neck...

The room remains silence until Ichigo asks him a question. "Getting back to point our conversation have admit your very resourceful Shirou. Let me ask how old are you?"

Nameless with curious voice "meaning it's 2001?

Ichigo nonchalantly "Yup pretty much."

Shirou asks the pedant "Nameless what are you getting at?"

Kurosuki family walks up the road a held and in the hot heat Ichigo states "another June 17th but so different from previous years." He wipes the seat off his face as they continue walk up steep curved hill. Isshin walks besides his son's new acquaintance's and asks. "So how you liking Karakura town Shirou?" They walk pass other small bump in the road turns his head right look at Isshin face. "From what I seen it's so much more relaxing and chill compared Fukuyi. Where things more lively and business centered with lots skyscrapers."

Yuzu spots another person a girl to be exact front of them waves her hand in air like its no tomorrow. "Another visitor who could that be?" Ichigo of course scrambles ahead everyone quickly runs towards her. Shirou understanding threw context clues the situation Ichigo found himself in. States very fast "Oh that's just Rukia who Ichigo been helping out with her studies. I think its best by Ichigo and I go talk her see what kind of issue she need help with."

He to quickly runs behind Ichigo they on to one dirt road going in the forest pathways. Isshin, Yuzu, Karin quietly stand there for moment follow by them looking at each other. Yuzu "the first time I'll a girl that isn't Tatsuki hang out with Ichigo?"

Isshin puts hands on his sides "Ichigo just growing up and with Shirou being there I'm sure the problem be solved easily."

The three them now stand in the middle of a dirt road lead to the mountain surrounded by thick trees and fallen green leaves. Ichigo already has his arms crossed states "Rukia what the hell are you doing here? I thought I told you am taking a day off from being a soul reaper."

She puts a hand in front him with her eyes closed alongside a smile. "Relax you'll need my help if a hollow appears though I'm curious on one thing was she murdered by hollow because you told me in the past. You saw spirits from young age is it possible if you enough spiritual energy a hollow came after you might have accidentally..."

Ichigo eyebrows goes instantly swaps his hand left in the air. Yells out loud "no way! You don't know what happened and why does everything have be about hollows with you huh? There no freaking hollow okay so just leave it alone!" Notices up on the dirt hill the same girl he'd saw six years ago by river appearing again and just stand there casually?

"No, no, no way why is he doing here!?"

Shirou got brief glimpse of what Ichigo saw a short hair girl with cap on with large cunning smile on her face abruptly vanishing.

Rukia has her hands on side leans forward and asks directly. "What really happened to your mother Ichigo?"

He pulls his hand back toward his chest tightens the fist's grip. Looks down at the dirt road with eyes moving left to right. "It wasn't a hollow that killed my it was..."

Shirou abruptly states nonchalantly. "It was your own action which caused your mother to die along with having the grief that you could have saved her. Knowing full well your actions would spared you and the rest your family. From ever experience suffering the tragedy it branded you with."

"Yeah...?!" Both Rukia and Ichigo immediately look at Shirou? Squinting their eyes at him follow the rising of their eyebrows for minute or two longer.

"..."

Becomes quiet all sudden Shirou turns his head left to right they continue stare at him asks. "What is it?"

"Shirou just how did you I know I had those feelings about my mother?"

He puts hand behind his red hair states "You see I know those feelings all too well myself Ichigo. After being the only survivor..."

Rukia ("I knew something was off about Shirou since he try attack that hollow with his bare fist.")

Ichigo ("what does Shirou mean by being the only survivor?")

Nameless voices threw the pedant itself. "You just hand make things awkward Shirou not surprised its you after all."

Shirou stands besides Ichigo who plants some flowers into vase down at her grave stone. "I never once visited Kiritsugu grave after he died comes think of it." Ichigo slightly turns his body toward him. "Why is that Shirou?"

He looks up and rises his hand in the air feeling the small breeze. "I guess I felt... I never need to I already carry his dream and memories threw my actions. I simply dont wanted experience his or anybody deaths again and live in a world where everyone is saved and shares their happiness with others. Those memories of him and his smile which allows me to continue to push forward. Strive for what Kiritsugu failed to achieve in his life a hero of justice that is."

Ichigo looks back at his mother grave stone. "Huh... I never thought about that way before. Carry on my mother's memories threw my actions? Still doesn't change the fact am the one who caused the tragedy in the first place."

Only hear weird sound in the distance over and over again. "What is that noise?"

"Its my dad's chicken whistle am pretty sure his calling us."

They rush over to him seeing him stand on bench keeps on blowing the whistle. "Okay we hear you so stop blowing into that stupid thing!" Isshin notices them and jumps down from the wooden bench itself."Oh there you boys are."Ichigo looks around the area full trees dirt alongside main stone sidewalk as he stands next Shirou. "Huh Yuzu and Karin aren't here yet?"

"No that's why am using chicken whistle." Ichigo immediately felt it like bolt of lighting passing threw his body. ("wait this sensation...!?") He looks back at Shirou second or two silently nods back as responds. "Mr. Kurosaki we're going to go find you're daughters now!"

"Glad to hear you boys being proactive."

They run back up the staircase on to stone road passing by some trees as Rukia comes in and makes right turn from another staircase. All three run together down more staircases "Ichigo a hollow!"Moving each individual legs downwards they felt their getting close to the hollow seem have appeared. "I know Rukia it's going after my sisters." She states while continuing to running with everything she has in this gigai. "Listen Ichigo am sorry crossing your boundaries, all I did was rubbing salt in that wound."

He looks at her face " Rukia you have nothing to apologize for but still thank you anyways."

For Shirou who keeps pace with other two and pedant keep bounding around his neck. "hopefully I use those swords again if am going need stand a chance against that hollow!"

Nameless "slow down Mr. Hero of Justice you can only projected those swords for short amount. Given your current tracing level and those short sword being noble phantasms. On top you cracking open your magic circuits the first time. Like car crashing to a restaurant unceremoniously." He puts hand on his face moves down and both eyebrows goes up at same time. "Wait is that the reason why those swords faded away and pasted out after battling that hollow?"

"Partially."

She looks at the red pedant he's wearing since last night. "Nameless your going need explain what a noble phantom on later date?"

"That is more simple then all other stuff we've talked about talked about."

Ichigo looks at Shirou and Rukia states. "Quit the cheddar let's go save my sisters!"

Karin is toss across the dirt ground tries crawling away at same time Yuzu comes running in. "Karin!" The short hair girl with cap appears alongside the hollow and lays it large hand on top of her body. "No... Yuzu stay back! AARH AAAH!"

"What is this thing!" Only for Yuzu to be lift up in the air by large tentacle which raps around her neck. "Haaha!" The girls licks her lips with big smile on her face. "How about I eat you first Sonny."

To hear a voice yell "get you're disgusting tentacle off my sister's... NECK!" A Katanna blade slices in the tentacle Yuzu begins to fall and Shirou slides in catching her with both arms at the last moment. "Shirou...!" Yuzu slowly closes her eyes into a deep sleep and Ichigo cuts off the hollows hand releasing Karin from being pinned down the ground. Shirou picks up both of Ichigo sisters and takes to more safe and secure place away from here. Ichigo points his blade at the girl asks "You're that person I tried save as child six years ago and why are you with that hollow?"

"With Sonny? Am!"She gives a sadistic smile begins moving toward him and Ichigo takes few steps forward asks. "That hollow is apart of you?" Rukia opens the flip phone begins searching threw the records of the soul society trying find the specific description of this hollow. "His name is Grand Fisher he uses bait decoy that sprouts from his head disguises itself as person. Only goes after those especially strong spiritual energy and absorbs their power." Shirou comes and stand beside Rukia as Ichigo stands in front them. He looks back and still pointing the blade at Grand Fisher. "His the one that... KILLED MY MOTHER!"

Ichigo jumps in the air tries to slashing at the hollow left right and center. "Do you really wish to died that badly Sonny?" He keep the momentum of his attacks Grand Fisher begins dodging and countering its own. "Shut up!"

Shirou takes step forward and is instanly stop by Rukia arm blocking his way while Ichigo fight the hollow. "I have to go help him!" She looks at him with her eyebrows down and head moving left to right. "No you can't Ichigo honor is at stake here you just have to let him fight this one alone." He moves her hand down walks few step forward turns his head back. "Honor what's the point in have if he's killed?" Makes a fist moves a hand in front his face and continues watch Ichigo struggle against the hollow who gaining an upper the longer this battle goes on. " I simply can't accept that statement because I've seen enough people died when their killed in front my very eyes. I'll never allow anyone died in front me ever again!"

Nameless speak out loud from the pedant "I have agree with Shirou honor is stupid and pointless when comes to fighting battles."

Which made Rukia pause stare at the ground for moment and thinks back at her time in the soul society. ("I had same opinion as you Shirou until he died front me because my stupid own actions.")

"Trace on!"

Only for the swords themselves to break over and over and over again. Ichigo being pushed by Grand Fisher with every attack he makes lead to more dodging and countering by hollows hair attack. Still endlessly coming from all possible angles. "Ah ahhh!"

The hollow stretches it's arm out and Ichigo immediately blocks with sword. Those fingers stretch out pierce his chest. Rain begins to pour down on top of everyone the dark clouds block out the sky.

Shirou looks at his hands those sword keep on disappearing."Ahhh dam it why isn't working!?" To hear nameless voice again "You can't brute force your way threw projection specially in high intense situations like these. Take it slow and try only focus on projecting one the swords not two at same time Shirou."

"Okay."

Takes deep breath closes his eyes the white sword he saw in that landscape of endless swords appears in his mind. Begins feel the heat running threw his entire body slowly walks threw seven steps of projection. Light blue sparks form his hand feels the burning heat coming off right palm. "Trace on!"

Short white sword finally projected in reality Shirou runs toward Grand Fisher who still has Ichigo chest pierced. The small bits of sparking lights he give off threw his projection magecraft made all most everyone pay attention and stare at him for brief moment. Shirou with short stabs Grand Fisher side which made the hollow try to stake him off. Ichigo grabs on to Grand Fishers arm. "Oh no you don't you bastard!"

With one sword swing slices Grand Fisher underbelly in half spattering blood was everywhere. Made the hollow fully slip into its girl body quickly jump away from the two boys range of attack . Ichigo stands there all bloody up in the chest area. As rain really began pour heavy on the both of them look at each other. Ichigo lens on to the sword says "thanks."

Shirou sword vanishes he puts a hand out. "I'm only just returning the favor." As the rain drops making ground wet and muddy Ichigo smirks shakes Shirou's hand.

He stares at her grave states "Sorry mom I couldn't avenge your death."

Still the rain pours down now onto his normal teenage clothes.

Hears "I was wondering where you and Shirou went."He turns see his father hold an umbrella over him blocking out the rain. "Shirou left the burial ground order to give some lone time with my mother." Isshin with smile on his face "how thought full of him."

Asks his father directly "Why doesn't anyone blame me? I failed protect her I couldn't do single thing. It's my fault and I wished you me but you don't?!"

Isshin states. "Why should I blame you Massiki would be mad at me if I did. I'm proud been married to women who give her life away protect our child to very end. Don't forget that child was you. So stop sulking you're not old enough for cool tortured look."

Ichigo takes deep breath "ok I'll try."

The rain slowly stops pouring Isshin closes the umbrella looks at Massiki grave. "Good, speaking of which I remember now Shirou Emiya this wasn't the first you guys meet. In fact you meet him before."

He looks at him tilts his head sideways alongside one eyebrow goes up.

"I did?"

"Yeah you did it was year before your mother died meaning you were 8 at time in 1994 when a fire started in Fuyuki city."

Ichigo looks at his mother grave stone again past vase and wet flower behind it reads died June 17 1995?

Asks his son a question. "Remember when I told you what your name means Ichigo?"

"Yeah one who protects."

Isshin states "I told you that in context of us traveling to Fukuyi city because things got so bad that Fukuyi hospitals overwhelmed called for medical personnel from neighboring towns. In the hospital where I treated him at is where you met Shirou who had third degree burns from his entire body. Am still amazed he survived until this day? He was by all counts the sole survivor of that fire. At least what nurse told me."

"Wait why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

He looks up at the dark clouds up above him "Because I barely figured out myself."

Ichigo quietly speaks " I now understand what you were saying earlier Shirou."

His father begins moving away from turns his back looks straight into his son's eyes.

"Ichigo last word of advice the people you meet it isn't by accident."

He stands here silent for moment.

"Okay?"

Isshin walks down the hill by himself leaving Ichigo to his own thoughts on what he'd meant?

Finally I'm done writing this chapter there a reason why this I split into two parts. I had cover all the material I wrote and my plan is balance both Shirou and Ichigo perspectives order make it not one sided.
