In the Summer Dimension, Haruna in her pactio form was doodling various enemies that she could think of so that Mana could shoot them with her gun. Mana had decided to do this as a way to prove herself as a worthy partner to Negi by shooting at the doodles and finding ways to attack them with her gun. Negi is very impressed with the fact that Mana has the ability to use a magic gun and fire magic bullets at enemies.
Negi: (says impressed) Good job with the gun Mana.
Chamo: (says with a cocky attitude) Hell yeah baby! With Mana shootin with that gun! We'd be killin wizard terrorists in no time!
Mana: (says with a smile) Thanks (then says with a frown) However the bullets don't kill humans, they only kill demons and monsters.
Negi: (says astonished) Demons and Monsters?
Mana: (says grim) Sadly I can only make the wizard terrorists you speak about go unconscious, otherwise the only enemies I can kill are Haruna's drawings, demons and monsters.
Negi: (says astonished) That's great, (then asks confused) But do Demons and Monsters really exist?
Mana: (says grim) Yes, because me and my former mage partner had to slay some demons in India where he came from.
Negi after hearing that was terrified, he heard from his grandfather that demons and monsters are very dangerous creatures as they tend to have violent tendencies to kill humans and eat them like food or they even have sex with humans and mages out of wedlock which results in the birth of a half demon that the demon raises as his or her child.
The others were very fearful of the prospect that demons are real, especially after hearing what Mana had stated. However they decided to focus on their training as that was more important than learning about Demons from Mana. Haruna then started to doodle more enemies for Mana to shoot with her gun.
Unfortunately Yue ran to the group to tell them some bad news.
Yue: (says distressed) I spotted some weird black spot in the middle of the blood ocean.
Negi and the others after hearing Yue say that then dashed to the part of the ocean where the spot was at. Negi instantly recognized it as a void of darkness like the one he had seen in Kyoto. Coming out of the void is an army of demons that look like demonic sea creatures and merfolk.
Haruna: (yells frantic) HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT THING!?
Negi: (yells frantic) IT'S SOME SHADOW PORTAL!
Nodoka: (whimpers in a frightened manner) Oh no! It must be the Star Crystal!
Negi: (says frantic) It is definitely the Star Crystal!
Mana: (says angry) Well whatever it is! It summoned an army of demons!
Negi: (yells with a frantic tone) EVERYONE! GET READY TO DEFEND OURSELVES!
Everyone then readied themselves to defend against the demon. The demons then attacked the gang who then had to fight them off as a means to defend themselves. Haruna had created an army of warriors to slay the demons as Negi, Yue and Mana all attacked the demons. Negi had chanted a spell that gave him the ability to unleash multiple fire streams and lightning magic arrows from his wand. Mana had fired her gun at multiple demons. Yue had then created explosive potions that have the ability to kill more than one demon.
Sadly despite all of their hard efforts, the demons still keep coming and coming through the portal. Nodoka because of this had looked through her encyclopedias to see how they can stop the hordes of demons from coming through the portal. However it was hard as she was trying her best to figure out how to save her friends from fighting an endless battle as she also had to dodge demons trying to kidnap her.
Negi then jumped on his staff and grabbed his wand and chanted the incantation of the spell that would allow him to close the portal as he aimed his wand at the portal.
Negi: (chants) Fores umbrae et tenebrae tibi praecipio claudere!
Negi: (booms) Claude ostium!
The portal then closes and this makes it easier for Negi's partners to rid themselves of the demons once and for all. Negi after that had to jump in and save Nodoka who got captured by a demon. Negi attacked the demon who captured Nodoka by unleashing a magic blast at it and he rushed in real fast on his staff to save Nodoka. Negi then caught Nodoka with his hands. Nodoka after that was blushing to the point she was unable to resist the urge to kiss Negi as a way to thank him for saving her.
The other partners of Negi lost their pactios and they also got tired and hungry. Negi because of this dashed down to save the girls in order to prevent them from being captured by demons. Negi then unleashed magic attacks at the remaining demons as Chamo then jumped out to whack all of the demons with his frying pan. They kept on fighting and fighting until the demons were destroyed and no more.
Negi and the others then landed on the ground after they fought the demons to rest up and eat so they could recover from the fierce fight that they had. However Evangeline had left to see what was going on, only to find out that her resort was wrecked and Evangeline then looked at the gang resting. Evangeline was infuriated with them for the vandalizing of her resort.
Evangeline: (snarls) WHAT HAPPENED!?
Negi: (says strained) Evangeline, we were fighting demons who entered this dimension.
Evangeline: (snaps) That's stupid! There's no way demons would have entered this pocket dimension.
Yue: (says angry) I spotted a black spot in the water which turned out to be a portal.
Evangeline: (snaps) LIES!
Haruna: (snaps mad) Evangeline! It's true!
Evangeline then snarls with rage and she then kidnaps Negi and runs off with him which makes everyone frantic.
Nodoka: (yells frantically) Oh no! Professor Negi!
Yue: (says stern) Don't worry Nodoka, we can save him.
Mana: (says stern) You two need me as a way to defend you both from the Vampire.
Haruna: (says worried) And I'll get help.
Yue, Nodoka and Mana had rushed to chase after Evangeline as Haruna dashed through the magic door to get the others and alert them that Negi had been kidnapped. Haruna then ran through the Magic door that is the entrance and exit to the dimension and she then ran into Setsuna, Lingshen, Ku Fei, Kaede, Konoka and Asuna to her relief.
Haruna: (says relieved) Good thing I ran into you three.
Kaede: (asks stern) Something wrong?
Haruna: (says worried) Yes, Negi got kidnapped by Evangeline.
This freaked out the six girls.
Asuna: (asks angrily) Great, she's trying to suck his blood and break out of this school.
Setsuna: (says grim) If she does have that ambition, then we have to hurry and stop her.
The others then agreed as they, with Haruna and as they all then entered the summer dimension to chase Evangeline. They then ran and frantically tried to find an entrance to the building.
