Hey, all. Looks like I'm taking a stab at a Freddy story now. Didn't think I'd actually do one to be honest but man, Security Breach really got me back into the series big time! I really love all the characters but I felt that some of the animatronics deserved a bit more of a better role so, I thought of this story, which is just a simple twist What If. Hope you enjoy!

Enjoy Chapter One: A Wolf & A Kid Named Gregory

My Racingstar Chapter One

Gregory had really done it now.

No, really. He'd really stuck his foot into it this time. Snuck his way into the morning to seek shelter, maybe even play some games and get to meet the mascots of the famed Freddy Fazbear's PizzaPlex or something despite what he'd heard. Then some bunny thing suddenly spots him or did he spot her… he couldn't remember but she tried to come at him with a knife! A knife!

He thought grown ups were supposed to be at least decent apart from his own parents… but this one seemed like she wanted to kill him or worse…

He'd managed to give her the slip, decided to hide and now, he was stuck inside of a room but not just any room. Oh, no. Just Roxanne Wolf's own personal Green Room! If he didn't get out of here soon, he wouldn't be able to leave until the morning if he'd even get the chance!

This was bad, very bad, extremely bad! It was bad!

Didn't help there was some sort of commotion earlier in the day. Something about a malfunction or something…? He wasn't really paying attention. Man, he couldn't think straight. These last few hours had been rough. He just wished-

"THUD!" Oh, crap.

"Your performance was perfect tonight." A robotic, feminine voice said as it entered into the room. The door closed as quickly as she entered, he heard. "Thank you." The voice continued complimenting, "Your hair is beautiful. Your tail is beautiful. Everyone was watching you. Everyone loves you. Everyone wants to BE you. You are the best! Thank you. I am the best. I.. am the best."

"Wow… ego much…?" Gregory muttered.

"I heard that. WHO'S THERE?" What the- How'd she hear what he said?! "There's nowhere to hide…" He heard a snarl and before he knew it, his personal hiding place the couch he was hiding behind, was tipped over to one side making some of the plushies fall off and now, he was staring right at the Glamrock animatronic who paid the items no mind: "Roxanne Wolf", holding the couch with no trouble at all. He didn't even hear the footsteps.

With her grey fur all around, she wore purple for her lipstick and toenail paint and green paint for her fingernails, face paint with a series of black markings on her cheeks. Her hair was long and silver, ditto for her tail, with the former having a bright green streak curved up the way. Her clothes consisted of a red crop top t-shirt printed with some black star shapes that exposed her stomach, earrings and piercings on her ears, bracelets around the wrists and neck, a spiked belt, red short-shorts and red shoulder pauldrons.

The animatronic continued staring at him before giving off a small, satisfied smirk. Seeing her up close, she looked really pretty and cool too. He'd heard a lot about her being one of the most popular characters, he even saw kids lining up to get autographs from her and her playing tag with the kids before. She was nicer then. She was very confident but from what he'd heard just now, maybe a bit too confident.

But all that didn't really matter. It was really scary seeing her continuing to look at him with that smirk of hers.

"Well, well. Lookie here. We got a little trouble maker. You must be the kid Van was talkin' about. Lucky me." She spoke as her tail swayed back and forth in delight.

Roxanne couldn't help but feel a bit of pride wash over her at the fact the kid had chosen her room to hide in. She truly was the best. Still, the fact he hid here meant he must have been wanting so desperately to see her. Only right because of her awesome stature naturally. Yeah. She could have some fun with him before she told the security boss.

The neon lights gleamed on her animatronic outer casing, as she inspected the kid more carefully, before standing straight and Gregory felt so scared now.

"You gotta name sport?" The way she said "Sport", she made it sound like an insult to him. Gregory didn't reply, still scared but crawled out from under the couch and into the middle of the Glamrock's room, careful not to hit the go-kart, her light cyber eyes following his every move and him slowly crawling back in fear until he couldn't.

"Not much of a talker huh? The strong and silent type? Got guts kid." The animatronic slowly put the couch down, set her items back on it and then stalked carefully over to the child, almost like a predator about to catch its prey.

She was now only a few meters away from his face. Her face plates clicking and her endo eyes narrowed, with her teeth all to see to match. "I like kids that have guts. Separates them from the losers. Know what I'm sayin'?" Still no reply. There seemed to be some water forming but the Glamrock wolf paid no mind to it. This was too much fun despite something telling her in her programming something was wrong. Wanting to ask the ultimate question, she leered in closer. "Hey, I bet I'm your favourite righ-"

Roxanne was put into a shocked silence when she now noticed too late that the kid was crying and now covering his face.

"P-Please… don't hurt me… You're… supposed to be… nice…" He whimpered.

The metallic wolf blinked a few times. Her screen view started to lag a bit and began flashing, as the kid's whimpers hit her ears. This wasn't right… No… No… The kid was crying… This wasn't right. She was supposed to make children laugh and happy, not make them cry. A wave of guilt stacked over Roxanne.

This is what she hated about being sentient, she could choose to ignore her core programming if she wanted and that meant she could sometimes get too ahead of herself. She cursed her reckless behaviour and that blasted personality chip of hers.

As quickly as she could, the robotic wolf shut the curtains to her room to make sure no one could look in and right after, she went and knelt next to the child she had frightened and put her arm around him to give him some comfort. "Hey there. Please don't cry. I'm sorry for scaring you. I sometimes get carried away. You, okay?" She asked sweetly.

Gregory glanced from his hands to see the wolf smiling at him and giving him a small pat on the back. She wasn't going to hurt him, was she? "You're… not… going… to… hurt… me…?" Tears were still coming down but at a lesser rate now.

"He talks! What a surprise! Wait, stupid!" Roxanne then slapped herself, making her eyes roll around some, which actually made the kid giggle a bit. That was good at least, goofy antics aside. Man… She was supposed to be hardcore and here she was acting like a low-grade cartoon character. Well, technically she was but… wait. She was getting side tracked again. "Sorry again. I think we got off on the wrong foot here."

"Um… wouldn't that be paw?" He replied back.

Roxanne just stared dumbfounded at the child's attempt at a bad joke. "A comedian too. You're just full of surprises, aren't you? But hey," Her hand reached out, which made the kid wince but he slowly calmed down when he realised, she was effortlessly wiping his tears off his face. Her claws were surprisingly soft and slick. "Crying doesn't suit a tough guy like you. Wouldn't you say?" She grinned at him, which got Gregory to slowly smile back at her and she gave his face a gentle pat.

"Hey, there's a smile! You're quite a cute little guy as well. I could just eat you up." She cooed at how sweet he looked but then her brow shot up exactly when the kid went back to being scared. "Joke, that was a joke! A very bad joke but a joke!" She stammered. "It's alright! I'm not gonna eat you. I'm not the big bad wolf. I'm Racing Roxanne Wolf!" She did a cross armed devil horned pose. The kids loved it when she did that, even if S.T.A.F.F. disapproved of it.

Gregory meanwhile, felt a bit better now. The robotic wolf in front of him seemed more like a big goofball more than anything else. It was kinda cute though he wouldn't lie. "Yeah, I know. It's a cool pose."

Roxanne beamed at his compliment. "I know right? I like to switch it up sometimes." She began to make different hand gestures, each with the same devil horned trademark. "It's all about the hands. Gotta make them look cool. I sometimes stay up for hours lookin' in the mirror to-" Her eyes widened when she realised what she was saying. "Anyway. I think I deserve to know your name now kid." She crossed her arms.

"My- Um… I'm Gregory, Ms. Roxanne Wolf."

"Whoa. Nah, nah. None of this Ms. Roxanne Wolf crud short stuff. Make me sound like I've got rusty parts or somethin'. You got somethin' against me?" The wolf raised an eyebrow, only to chuckle and give the kid a light wink, "Roxy is just fine." offering her hand to the youth.

"Okay Roxy." Gregory smiled back at her and took the hand, shaking it.

"I could get used to the smile thing! It suits you sport! Gregory huh? I'll call ya Greg. That sound okay with you?"

"Sure." He replied, as she let him up to his feet.

"There we go. But now, Greg. Hold on one sec. Just gotta do a quick check. This might look a bit scary but trust me. It's harmless alright?"

The child nodded in response.

"Okay. Just hold still now." Roxy's eyes changed to a lighter bluish colour and two transparent light lines streamed across Gregor's face for a few seconds. In moments, it was finished and Roxy's eyes returned to normal. "Scanning complete. That's… weird… you don't seem to have a guest profile on here. One sec, I'll notify the main office about this." In a second, there was a short high sound effect but nothing seemed to have worked. "Connection error… Everything's on the blink today it seems. First Freddy and now this stuff. What's wrong with the main network?"

It then clicked in Gregory's head. "It must be her. she cut you off. She's not going to let you call for help until she finds me."

"Who? Your mother? Is she looking for you?"

"Shh. I hear footsteps!" Gregory quickly looked around the room and saw that the arcade machine in the corner of the room was slightly out from the wall and he ran to get behind it.

"Hey, hold on a sec. You don't mean-" The wolf was interrupted by a knock on the door. Before she answered, Roxy gave a glance at Gregory and gave him a nod before saying, "Come in!"

The door opened and in walked the Security Guard. She wore the standard security guard uniform with her blonde hair tied up into a ponytail, a cap covering it. Gregory had seen her before walking around, patrolling and he didn't trust her. Any one of those adults could be that psycho rabbit. Especially her.

"Roxy." The guard acknowledged. "Just came to do the double checks."

"Like always Van." Roxy leaned on the side of her entrance door, looking at her claws.

"Vanessa! It's Vanessa! We've been over this Roxy."

"Hey, you call me Roxy, why can't I call you Van?"

"Because!" Vanessa then shook her head and sighed. "Nevermind. If you want to know, Freddy's doing okay after his system crashed. Parts and Service put him on reduced power. It's a safety precaution."

"Just one more thing to deal with, eh?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact. I don't think I even have to tell you but don't go visit Freddy while he's on lockdown please? Last thing I need is a get together of all of you in one place, tearing up one of your green rooms."

"Good times." Roxy smiled.

"Hm." Vanessa frowned at the robot's attempt at humour. "Okay. We're fifteen minutes from closing and that kid is still sneaking around somewhere. I don't know if you've seen him?"

"Not a trace."

"Right, well, I'm counting on you, Chica and Monty to help with the search. Do what you have to do in here and then go patrol the Atrium on the east wing, including your Raceway. I've told the others to do the same for their respective wings. Before that though, have a look around Rockstar Row just in case."

"Yes, Ma'am, Officer Vanessa Ma'am." Roxy gave a fake salute. In response, Vanessa gave the animatronic a dissatisfied look on her way out but before she got all the way into the hallway, Roxy called after her. "Hey Van. Freddy is gonna be alright, isn't he? I don't want him… to… you know… Go like Bonnie did…"

Surprisingly, Vanessa turned around and put a hand to Roxy's shoulder giving her a genuine look. "He'll be fine. You guys have been on fire these past few weeks. It's no wonder he'd had a glitch or two. Don't worry. Everything will be alright. Great work on your performance as well. It was well done."

Roxy's ears twitched up at the last part. "R-Really?"

"Yes. Now, ease those gears of yours and get going. I'll see you around." With that, Vanessa took her leave and the door shut.

The robotic wolf stood motionless for a moment before muttering. "Yes. I'm the best… Of course, she'd say that. It's only natural." Sadness came for a moment but she quickly turned her attention to her arcade. "Right, Greg. You can come out. She's gone."

In a few moments, out he came, with a confused look on his face. "You… I thought you were supposed to catch me for her? Why didn't you just then?"

"This is just an easy fix. I'll escort you to the entrance and you can leave. Besides, I don't like all this big drama anyway and I don't think you've done anything bad. Have you?" Roxy raised an eyebrow.

"N-No." Gregory stuttered.

"Good." Roxy smiled and walked over to her desk. Opening the drawer, she rummaged through some things and finally took out a watch, which she then handed over to Gregory after adjusting the settings in swift fashion. "Here, take this."

"What is it." He asked while putting it on his wrist.

"Fazwatch. Helps us communicate. {Like this.}" Gregory suddenly heard her voice coming through the speaker in the watch. "I'm waiting for the day I get my own special make. Merchandiseandallrightsapplypending." She suddenly spoke very fast for a second in a jarring manner but she swiftly returned to normal after. "But this will have to do. This is to make sure that if we somehow get separated, we can find our way back to each other easily. I suppose you've already guessed but this place is a maze and it's easy to get lost in here."

Gregory followed and Roxy pressed the button to open her door, kneeling down once again to his level. "Stay close to me and try to keep out of sight. It would be easier if we had Freddy but he's out of service at the moment. The others are more than likely to keep you here after lockdown, so let's make sure that doesn't happen. Let's go little Racingstar."

I really feel bad for Roxy in the game. I hope she gets a happier ending, maybe in a future update! I hope you liked how I wrote her and her interactions with Gregory meanwhile! Review at your leisure and have a good one!
