Chapter 86: Overlords

Balance is found in the one who faces his guilt.

Recap: Mysterious message! A transmission has been intercepted far beyond the Outer Rim, deep in the Crelythiumn system. Why the call has been made and from where cannot be established. But buried in the message is a Jedi distress code that has not been used in over 2,000 years. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Twilight Sparkle, Storm, and Padawan Ahsoka are sent to investigate. Fearing a Separatist trap, they are to meet with a heavily armed Jedi cruiser.

Emerging from hyperspace was the shuttle carrying the Jedi as they were looking to meet up with the Jedi cruiser that was supposed to meet them.

"Rex... Rex, do you read me? We're at the rendezvous point awaiting your arrival. Where are you?" asked Anakin to his clone commander.

"Sir, we are at the rendezvous point, and there's no sign of you on our scanners," stated Rex; based on their calculations, the cruiser was in the exact spot the code came from, but the Jedi were around.

"Oh, come on. That's impossible. Something's wrong. We're at the exact coordinates where the distress signal originated, but there's nothing here. Rex is at the exact same coordinates, and he's not here." said Anakin to everyone on board.

"Sark, are you sure you guys got the right place?" asked Storm.

"Affirmative, sir, but believe us when we say this. You're not here," said the clone to his general.

"Alright, what the hell is going on?!" stated Storm.

"This is getting interesting," said Obi-wan as he was also confused about what was happening.

At that moment, the transmission started to cut out.

"Unable to find you. Where are you, sir?" said Rex as he started to break up.

"Something's blocking the signal," said Ahsoka as she and Twilight tried to clear it up, but it wasn't working.

At that moment, the entire shuttle went offline. The Jedi all began to push every button, but nothing.

"Not good," said Obi-wan.

"Everything's dead, even the life support," stated Twilight.

"Hmm, this is really strange," said Anakin to all.

At that moment, the ship came back online as if by magic.

"There. See? Nothing to be concerned about after all." smiled Obi-wan to all.

"Then what's that?" said Ahsoka as she pointed out in front of them.

The rest looked out of the window as a giant crystal-like structure was in front of them. Soon the ship rocked as rapid beeps began to echo inside the shuttle. As if the ship was acting on its own, it was being pulled toward the structure.

"It's pulling us towards it," said Ahsoka.

The crystal-like structure began to open up as a white light appeared.

"Everyone, strap yourselves in. Looks as though we're going for a ride," stated Obi-wan.

The ship entered into the white light as it got brighter and brighter. Soon everybody put their hands in front of their faces as they looked away with the light engulfing everybody. Soon darkness came over as it cleared out to show Anakin as he was slumped over in his chair with his face on the wheel. The Jedi Knight blinked as he opened his eyes and sat up to rub his neck. The others seemed to have passed out when they saw the light as they started to stir.

"I must have blacked out," stated Anakin.

"Then who landed the shuttle?" asked Obi-wan.

"Not me," replied Ahsoka groggily.

"Mm... Where are we?" asked Storm as they looked out the windows.

The surroundings the Jedi saw were nothing but lush greenery.

"Some kind of organic mass. All of our readings indicate that it's bigger than an asteroid. But at least the atmosphere is breathable." said Twilight as she and Ahsoka checked the ship's scanners.

"Well, this is getting more unusual by the minute. I can't even lock down where in the galaxy we are... or if we are even in our own galaxy," stated Obi-wan.

Well, the ship's systems seem fine, but for whatever reason, nothing's working," stated Anakin as he started the ship up, but nothing was occurring.

The Jedi soon began to exit the shuttle as they needed to know what was happening. They got out and began to examine their surroundings as they looked around.

"Hey! I saw something. A reflection, up on the hill." said Ahsoka as she pointed.

"I don't see anything," said Obi-wan as he looked through a tiny pair of binoculars in the direction that Ahsoka said. He wasn't the only one, as the others all confirmed what the Jedi Master said, as they didn't see anything.

In front of the Jedi was a massive landscape filled with mountains and floating space rocks surrounded by greenery. The sky was both day and night. Just then, a voice spoke.

"Are you the One?" spoke a female voice to Anakin.

"What the... What? Did you hear that?" asked the Jedi Knight to his pals.

"I didn't hear anything," said Obi-wan.

"You're sure you're not going crazy, Anakin?" said Storm once again; only one of them was either seeing or hearing something while the others couldn't.

"Are you the One?" spoke the voice again.

Anakin turned around as standing there was a woman. This time, the others heard it as they looked in the Jedi Knight's direction and saw the woman who called out to their friend.

"Hello," greeted Obi-wan while stroking his beard.

"Who are you?" asked Anakin.

"I am Daughter," said the woman as they all made faces at that response. "Are you the One?"

"Uh... the One what?" asked the Jedi Knight.

"I will take you to him."

"Him, who?" asked Ahsoka to the woman.

"Did you bring us here?" asked Obi-wan.

"Only he can help you. There is little time. Follow me. We must have shelter by nightfall." stated the woman as she began to walk away.

"And we thought the planet was strange. How about this one?" snickered Storm as he pointed at the woman.

"We'll be fine as long as we stay together," instructed the Jedi Master to the rest of them.

The Jedi soon began to walk as the woman was still leading the way. The group had been walking for a bit as they were now on a cliff trail. As they followed the woman, they began to take note of their surroundings as there seemed to be something off-putting about them.

"Have you noticed the seasons seem to change with the time of day?" said Obi-wan for all to hear.

"Yeah," replied Anakin.

"And there are no animals," whispered Ahsoka.

"And you sense it?" said Obi-wan to Storm and Anakin.

"Mm-hmm, since we arrived. The Force is very strong," said Storm as where they were was crawling with immense power. The same power they used as Jedi.

An intersection, unlike anything I've ever felt before. Be wary," instructed Kenobi to the group.

"Excuse me. Who are you taking us to?" asked Anakin nonchalantly.

"The Father, of course," answered the woman honestly.

"Of course," said Twilight as she and Ahsoka rolled their eyes at that answer.

"And what exactly are you?" asked Obi-wan to the woman as he could tell by her appearance and the way she glowed; she didn't seem to be human.

"We are the ones who guard the power. We are the middle, the beginning, and the end," responded the woman.

"Glad she cleared that up for us," snickered Anakin.

They walked for a few meters when something happened.

"Hey! Look out!" shouted Anakin as he pointed upwards.

Some rocks began to fall as a huge piece of it was about to crush the woman and Jedi. Anakin pushed the woman with him to the floor, as did Storm. The others all took a step back as Obi-wan lost his footing and almost fell off the edge as he held onto a vine. Twilight and Ahsoka helped the Jedi Master as they pulled him to safety.

"Thank you," said Kenobi to the girls.

"You're welcome," said Ahsoka as they all looked at the giant rock in front of them that was blocking their path.

"You okay?" asked Storm as he and Anakin were about to put their hands on the woman to help her.

"It is forbidden for you to touch me!" shouted the woman as she glared at the Jedi Knights.

"Sorry. I was just saving your life!" growled Anakin.

"A thank you would be nice!" said Storm as he was also angry.

"That was my brother's work. You both are in great danger. Wait for me. Do not leave this place." said the Daughter as she took off, leaving the Jedi alone.

"Hey! Wait!" shouted Anakin.

"Get back here, bitch!" stated Storm as the woman kept walking.

"Anakin, Storm, are you there? Are you all right?" asked Obi-wan as he called his friends on their comlinks.

"Yeah," sighed Anakin, "But our friend here has run off!" The Jedi Knight made sure to shout that last part as the woman continued to walk in the distance.

"Obi-wan, go back to the ship and try sending another distress call. We'll follow her and find out how to get off this rock," suggested Storm.

"And if this is a trap?" asked Obi-wan to his pals.

"Then we're not gonna wait around to find out," said Anakin as he took off.

"Anakin, stop! Wait for us to find another way around and meet you," said Obi-wan as the line cut off. "Anakin? So reckless and impatient."

"Storm?" said Twilight as she tried contacting her partner but got no answer.

"They'll find her," assured Ahsoka to her friends.

"Yes, and what else?" wondered Obi-wan as this place was a but a danger to them all.

At that moment, thunder was heard. The girls and Jedi Master all looked to the sky as they could see thunderclouds rolling in as the sky was about to go dark in a matter of moments.

"Let's move," said Twilight as they all began to head back to the ship.

The trio had returned to where they started, which didn't take long. However, upon arriving, their ship was nowhere to be found.

"The ship's gone," complained Twilight.

"Yes, I see that," said Obi-wan.

"It was here, no question," stated Ahsoka before looking at the ground. "And look. Everything's dying."

True to what the Padawan said, all the flowers and greenery they saw before were now wilting away. As if it was becoming dark, everything was starting to die.

"Did you lose something?" asked a voice.

The trio heard the voice as they turned around to see a man in all black; he descended before the group. Ashoka immediately turned on her lightsaber as she was ready to fight.

"You didn't do as you were asked," warned the man to the Jedi.

"And what was that?" asked Obi-wan calmly.

"My sister said to wait!" stated the man.

"Did she now? Well, we were unfortunately separated. We'd like our ship back if you don't mind." said Obi-wan.

"Not... Yet. Is it true that he is the Chosen One?" asked the man to Obi-wan.

"What do you know of such things?" demanded Obi-wan as he turned on his lightsaber from hearing that statement and was ready to fight.

"It seems the Elements of Harmony have awakened once more," said the man as he looked at the princess.

"How do you know about that?!" demanded Twilight, as no one outside her world knew of such power.

Twilight turned on her lightsaber as Ahsoka turned on the shoto lightsaber she also carried with her as it seemed the man knew some things nobody else was supposed to know about.

"What is about to happen shall occur whether you like it or not," spoke the man as he waved his hand.

The Jedi's lightsabers were now retracted back as they were shocked to see that they weren't working.

"You are Sith," stated Obi-wan, as only someone of that caliber could do that to a lightsaber.

"Sith?" chuckled the man sinisterly as the rain began to fall hard, "Yes... and no. The storms here are quite lethal. If you want to live, I suggest you find shelter."

The man then ran before leaping into the air as he changed into a giant gargoyle that flew into the darkness. The rain was still pouring as the Jedi were dumbfounded by what they encountered.

"What in the universe was that?" said Ahsoka to her friends.

"I'm not quite sure. Quick. There's a cave over there." said Obi-wan as he pointed.

The girls began to follow the Jedi Master as they were looking to heed the words the man spoke and get out of the rain with lightning trying to strike them. Speaking of lightning, Storm and Anakin had continued to follow the woman but soon lost track of her. Lightning tried to strike near them as they got into a cave and took cover.

The pair peeked out as in the distance, there was a monastery, and a light was shining at the top.

"Whoever we're looking for is in that monastery," stated Anakin.

Once the storm had passed, the Jedi Knights began to make their way toward the large building in the distance. They arrived at the entrance and ran up the stairs into the building. Upon entering, the pair stopped at what they saw. There was a long walkway that led to a throne. Behind the throne were two giant statues, one that resembled a griffon and the other was the bat that the man who confronted their friends had turned into. However, sitting on the throne was someone who looked to be meditating.

The pair walked toward the figure; as they got closer, they saw it as an older man. His eyes were closed as the Jedi sat down in front of him. Soon the older man opened his eyes as they glowed with him looking at the pair.

"Welcome, my friends," said the elderly person.

"What is it that you want from us?" asked Anakin as he gestured to both him and Storm.

"To learn the truth about who you really are, one that maybe you have known all along, one you must believe in order to fulfill your destiny," said the old man to both Jedi Knights as they all stood up.

"Enough with the riddles, old man. Tell us what's going on here!" shouted Storm as he wasn't playing around anymore. Thunder boomed at the sound of the boy's voice.

"As you can see, there is nowhere else to go. It is late. You both will be my guests tonight," said the old man as he began to lead the Jedi Knights to their rooms.

Back with Obi-wan and the girls, they had safely located a cave while waiting for the storm to end. The girls were fast asleep as Kenobi had decided to watch over them in case of danger. The flames from the fire flickered as the Jedi Master was shown sitting down as he was thinking. At that moment, he broke his train of thought as he sensed something and looked in the direction of the girls.

The Jedi Master thought he sensed something, but there was nothing but the girls napping. He thought his mind was playing tricks on him because he was exhausted. Just then... a voice spoke out.

"Obi-Wan, have you done as I asked?"

The Jedi Master turned in the direction of the voice as what he saw broke him. The expression on his face melted as who he saw nearly brought him to tears.

"Qui-Gon," muttered Obi-wan.

Standing in front of the Jedi was not just someone. But it was his Master, his mentor, and more importantly, the person he considered a father to him. Standing before Obi-wan was none other than his deceased mentor.

"Have you trained the boy?" asked Qui-Gon.

"Master Qui-Gon. How are you here?" said Obi-wan as he tried to hold back the tears; he stood up and raised his blade at the spirit as if expecting it to be some sort of evil trick.

"I am here because you are here," replied Qui-Gon to his student.

"No, I don't understand. What is this place?" asked Kenobi to his teacher in a genuine tone.

"Unlike any other, a conduit through which the entire force of the universe flows," answered the Jedi Master honestly to his student.

"Are we in danger?" asked Obi-wan.

"This planet is both an amplifier and a magnet. Three are here who seek Skywalker. They, like me, believe him to be the Chosen One." said Qui-Gon.

"You were right," said Obi-wan as he retracted his lightsaber and looked his Master in the eyes. "The Force within him is stronger than any known Jedi. I have trained him as well as I could, but he is still willful, and balance eludes him."

"If he is the Chosen One, he will discover it here," stated Qui-Gon.

"And if not?" asked Obi-wan with concern.

"Then you must realize, with his power, this is a very dangerous place for him to be," said Qui-Gon.

Obi-wan began to think about what his Master said. He then looked as the spirit of his mentor was gone.

In the monastery, Anakin was shown tossing and turning. The Jedi Knight was suffering from some painful memories as he turned to his side.

"Wake up, my son. I must tell you a secret," said a voice as a hand ran through Anakin's face.

"Who's there? Who's there, I said!" shouted Anakin as he opened his eyes and stood up. He glanced around the room, but there was no one there.

"It is me, Ani, your mother," said the voice as looming over the Jedi Knight was indeed Anakin's mother; the Jedi Knight looked horrified as he quickly stood up.

"What kind of black arts is this? You're dead," said Anakin as he kept his distance from the figure that was his mother.

"Nothing ever really dies, my son. I have a secret to tell you," said Anakin's mother as she approached her son, who was cautiously watching her.

"Then tell me," demanded Anakin.

"Everything you have done, everything you have learned has led you here," said Anakin's mother.

"Whatever you are, my mother is... Is dead," stated Jedi Knight as he broke down in sadness at saying that.

"And you blame yourself. Your Jedi training has served you well, Ani, but you are more than a Jedi. Tell me, where is your pain, so I might take it away." asked Anakin's mother to her son.

"I was too late to save you. I failed as a Jedi, and I failed you," confessed Anakin as he was this close to breaking down in tears.

"How so?" asked his mother as she touched her son's cheek.

"I tasted only vengeance when I slaughtered so many to avenge your death," said Anakin in sadness.

"It is time you realized that your guilt does not define you, my son. You define your guilt," stated Anakin's mother to her child.

"The only love I feel in my heart is haunted by what would happen should I let go," said Anakin as his mother held onto his right side and could feel her son's pain.

"Then it is not love. It is a prison," stated Anakin's mother.

"But I... I have a wife. You've met her. She's everything to me." responded Anakin.

"She is not your destiny."

"But I love her," stated the Jedi Knight.

"No! She is a poisoner!" shouted Anakin's mother as her voice deepened and changed.

"What are you?" demanded Anakin as he let go and backed up.

"Your fate!" spoke the figure as the lightning flashed and revealed a horrible creature before returning to Anakin's mother. Another lightning flashed as she was gone. The Jedi Knight was left in shock at what he saw.

In another room, Storm was fast asleep. The sound of the thunder boomed as the boy tried to silence it. Just then, he heard a sound.

"Storm?"

"Hmm," said the boy as he sat up and looked around the room.

The teen saw nothing as he kept his senses sharp.

"Storm?!" echoed the voice once again.

"Twilight?" said the boy as he recognized his partner's voice. "Twilight, where are you?"

"Storm?! Help me!" shouted the voice.

"Sparky!" shouted the boy as he got up and slid the door open to his room.

He looked down the hallway as if seeing where the girl was. Soon another shout was heard as he followed the voice's trail. The Jedi Knight was running along the corridor; the closer he got to the sound, the more danger it sounded like the princess was in. Eventually, Storm followed the voice's trail as it led him outside to where the entrance of the monastery was.

What the boy saw shocked him. There was Twilight as she was backing up; however, she wasn't alone, as standing across from her was Luna. The Jedi Master had her lightsaber out and pointed it in the princess' direction as she looked to strike the girl down. Twilight was backing up as she was scared for her life.

"... but you must exist no more!" shouted Luna as her lightsaber glowed and she lunged forward.

"Twilight!" shouted Storm as he was shown leaping into the air with his lightsaber.

A flash of light was shown as the boy was now standing between the princess and his Master.

"What?" said Luna, shocked to see her student defending the girl.

"Master, have you gone mad?!" shouted Storm at seeing Luna trying to kill Twilight.

"Storm! I command you- step aside!" yelled Luna.

"No!" said Storm as Twilight was on her knees and looked at the boy protecting her.

"You will not heed your Master?!" shouted Luna at how her student defied her orders.

"I won't!" said Storm as he stood his ground.

"Why do all my attempts to reach you fail?" said Luna with a sorrowful look. "If you don't have it in your heart to obey... then you will have to share Twilight's fate." Luna had a tear roll down her cheek as she charged at her student.

Storm raised his blade as he tried to block all of his master's attacks. The boy was willing to keep Twilight safe and not let Luna lay a finger on her.

"Enough, Storm!" cried out the princess to her partner. "She's right..."

"Shut up, Sparky!" shouted Storm to the girl on her knees.

"Storm..." spoke Twilight softly.

Storm shifted his weight as Luna deflected the boy's lightsaber in a direction as she leaped back. The Jedi Master tapped into her power as she thrust her hand out and pushed back the teens. Storm dug his feet into the ground as he skidded along the ground; Twilight fell to her back as she was knocked unconscious.

"Twilight!" said Storm as he checked on the girl.

"I've tried Storm; I have been patient with you. But you continue to let Twilight infect your mind. She's a distraction. If you can't see that Twilight is a liability and that you need to let go of your attachment to her, then not only will you fail in becoming a Jedi Master, you will fall to the Dark Side of the Force!" said Luna.

Storm continued to hold Twilight in his arms as seeing the girl that he spent so much time with, to the point where all he wanted to do was keep her safe, to hear his Master speak of her like that. The boy started letting his emotions come out as a dark aura began to surround the teen; he set Twilight off to the side as he turned back to look at Luna, who was shining in a blinding white light.

"Luna, you may be my Master. But I will not... let you hurt my friend!" yelled Storm in anger.

"Has the darkness taken you, Storm?!" asked Luna as she took her stance.

The boy then charged ahead as he clashed his blade with Luna, blocking it with one hand. Storm then transitioned to side attacks as Luna spun in place to block, all while using her free arm to punch her student. Storm backed up as Luna went for swings of her own, as they had some power behind them. Storm did his best to block them as Luna kept on the assault and didn't allow her student a chance to switch to attack.

The Jedi Master thrust her hand out as she pushed Storm onto his back. She was bringing her lightsaber down as Storm rolled to the side. He was on his knees as he turned his upper body back to block a sneak attack from Luna. Luna then kicked the boy in the face with her boot as she toyed with him.

"You can't beat me, Storm? I taught you everything you know. But I didn't teach you everything I know." said Luna as she put her hands out.

Rocks began to float into the air as the boy was just getting to his feet. Luna used her power as she sent the rocks toward her student. Storm slashed at one as another came rushing toward him. As fast as the boy could cut them down, Luna threw more rocks at him as Storm could feel the ones hitting his body. One of them cut Storm on the cheek as the boy put his hand to it, as he could feel something red.

Luna appeared before her student in the blink of an eye as Storm went for a lunge, to which she sidestepped and grabbed her student's wrist. She made Storm drop his lightsaber as she kicked his legs from under him to drop him to the floor.

"Is this truly all you have learned?" taunted Luna as she held her student's wrist before moving her hands to grab Storm's fingers.

The Jedi Master bent the boy's digits as he yelled out in pain. In one quick movement, Luna snapped two of Storm's fingers back as the boy yelled the loudest this was the most pain he'd ever been in; he grabbed his hand with the other and rolled to his stomach. Luna didn't stop as she kicked Storm in the side as he was already down.

"It pains me to do this, my son. But you've left me no choice," said Luna as she could see the pain her son was suffering. She let out some tears as she had to do it.

Luna was reaching her hand out to grab the back of Storm's head. The boy managed to snap his fingers back into position as the pain was relieved a bit. Luna then pulled her son back up as Storm got in a punch to Luna's gut as the Jedi Master backed off. The boy quickly got up and began to lay in some stiff punches, and leg kicks to Luna as the Jedi Master covered up as best as she could.

Storm then leaped over Luna as he reached out for his lightsaber. The weapon flew into his hand, and upon reaching, he quickly turned around to block an attack from Luna. The Jedi Master was trying to push down on her student as Storm willed himself to fight back as he got back to his feet.

Both Jedi held their blades in place as their faces were close. Soon the boy began to take control as he swung his lightsaber and moved about as Luna was trying to keep up. Storm went for a lunge as Luna blocked, which allowed him to do a roundhouse kick to knock her off balance; as he went for a two-piece downward slash attack, Luna avoided them, but the boy guided the blades to where he could elbow the Jedi Master back.

Storm was now in control of the fight as he made an overhead attack as Luna blocked, to which he then went for a sweep. Luna backflipped back as Storm leaped into the air and spun several rotations as his lightsaber smacked Luna, making her take a few steps back. He then came for a downward slash as he managed to drop Luna to a knee as the student loomed over his teacher. Luna struggled to get her footing as Storm put more strength on his master.

Luna went for a sweep of Storm's legs as the Jedi cartwheel to avoid it, allowing Luna to get up. She then charged as Storm turned his back to block her attack from that position; he had more control and could fall through with another spin as Luna was caught off guard. The boy began to wail attacks on her Luna could only defend herself as Storm kicked her to the floor.

Storm was about to jump on top of Luna when the Jedi Master thrust her hand out. She caught her student and sent him flying as Storm turned his body and shifted his body to bounce off a pillar on the platform. The boy landed like a superhero as Luna was once again throwing rocks at him. This time, Storm ran toward them as he slid under the first few before leaping into the air and now air stepping in between them as he used them to get closer to Luna.

Storm managed to close the distance as he leaped into the air after stepping on the final rock. Luna saw this as she also leaped; Storm saw Luna as he switched the position of himself in mid-air as he was upside down. Everything moved in slow motion as Luna brought her lightsaber down. Storm managed to put his weapon horizontally as he blocked with time resuming to its normal pace.

Storm was pushed down as he safely landed on the ground, with Luna landing seconds later. The pair then continued to fight as they spun and attacked, with Storm having to back up. The boy then brought his lightsaber horizontally as Luna went for a downward slash; however, the Jedi Master kept hammering at her student's sword as she did a series of relentless strikes. Storm felt Luna's attack as he tried to hold his ground as his grip was starting to fade. Soon the boy buckled under the pressure as he fell to a knee.

Luna took that moment to swat away her student's lightsaber as it flew from his hand. Storm immediately rushed toward it with his hand out; it began to move but was stopped mid-air as Luna also had her hand out to stop it. The Jedi Master then appeared between the boy and his weapon as Storm slid to a halt to avoid running into Luna's blade.

The Jedi Master now had the Jedi Knight right where she wanted as he had no way of getting back his weapon; all she had to do was strike him down. Storm saw his weapon as he closed his eyes and concentrated. The pendant on his neck glowed as his lightsaber disappeared.

"What?!" said Luna as she was shocked to find it gone.

The lightsaber rematerialized in Storm's hand as it bypassed Luna's Force power. The boy stood up as he turned his blade on, bringing his lightsaber down as Luna blocked it. Storm quickly moved it to the side and lunged the blade forward as it made contact. At that moment, Luna gasped as it showed her dropping her lightsaber to the ground.

Storm stepped back as he held his scowl before it softened upon realizing what he'd done. He dropped his lightsaber as he had his hand out. Luna had a hole through her chest as Storm had pierced his lightsaber through her.

"What have I done... Master..." said Storm as he was approaching Luna. "I'm sorry... I just... wanted to keep Twilight safe."

"No, you were right. I failed you, Storm. Perhaps I've no one to blame but myself. And now I've done worse." said Luna as she looked at her student with her final breaths. "I raised my lightsaber against you and Twilight."

At that moment, Luna took her final breath and began to fall forward. Storm also dropped as he looked to catch his master, but Luna turned into sparkles as she was now gone. The boy left them as he looked at the sparkles and then at his hands.

"LUNA!" shouted Storm as he cried.

Tears were shown falling to the ground as the boy had killed his master. He killed his own mother. Storm was legitimately crying for the first time in his life. He hadn't done that since he was but a baby, and now Storm had lost another parent, and he was the reason they were gone again.

"Storm?" spoke Twilight as she was starting to stir.

"Twilight," said the boy as he rushed toward the girl.

He kneeled beside her as he held her in his arms.

"What happened?" asked the girl.

"You're safe now, Twilight. You're safe," smiled Storm.

"Storm... come with me. Come with me to Equis. We can live our lives whatever we want; we wouldn't have to worry about fighting a war or what others think. I can't help but be happy around you; I need you. Come with me, and we can be together... forever." spoke Twilight lovingly as she put her hand up for Storm to grab.

The boy stood slack-jawed at Twilight's words. He was having a hard time processing everything that Twilight said. Storm's train of thought was cut off when he saw his hand reaching for hers. The teen couldn't stop himself; he had no control over his body. It's almost like his heart was doing what his mind wouldn't. As Storm was about to grasp Twilight's hand, another voice stopped him.

"Okay. Fun's over!"

Storm looked up; there was someone he despised so much. He saw Sunset Shimmer. She just stared at him with an evil grin on her face, a grin that infuriated him more than ever. He gripped his lightsaber as tight as he possibly could.

"Sorry to disappoint you, princess, but Storm belongs to me," snickered the girl.

Storm wasted no time charging at Sunset. She sidestepped and tried to punch the boy, her grin never wavering, but he jumped out of the way. Sunset charged at Storm, as he did the same. Their lightsabers clashed together, with the two pushing each other back, one trying to best the other. Sunset kept her grin while Storm was gritting his teeth; that smirk of hers was infuriating. Soon they jumped backward and charged again, slashing at each other with no success in hitting their opponent. After at least 10 slashes, Sunset began to sweat and breathed heavily, but her grin never weakened. It's almost as if she had no other emotion but pure evil. Storm took this opportunity and charged again, jumped, spun in mid-air, and horizontally swung his lightsaber with the strongest slash he could muster. Sunset didn't react fast enough and took a hit to the face. She flew across the platform and landed near the edge with her lightsaber disappearing.

The Jedi Knight walked up to the defeated Sunset to see his progress, but he was shocked to see someone else had taken her place. He saw an upset Twilight Sparkle looking up at him with crying eyes.

"W-W-Why, Storm? W-Why d-did you attack m-me?" Twilight asked.

"Twilight... I... I didn't mean... I thought..." Storm could hardly form a sentence; he was still in shock.

"W-What did I-I do w-wrong?" Twilight asked, desperately trying to understand why the boy would hurt her.

"You did nothing wrong... I just..." Storm tried to answer as best as he could.

He dropped his lightsaber and walked over to Twilight, kneeling down and giving her the most meaningful hug he could give.

"S-Storm?" Twilight was more confused than before.

More tears began to form in Twilight's eyes as she returned the boy's hug with her own, sobbing into his chest. Storm couldn't understand why Twilight was there in Sunset's place. At that moment, a voice rang out in his head.

"Get angry."

"Let your anger take hold."

"For where there is anger... There is darkness."

Storm snapped his eyes open as he panted heavily. The boy looked around as he seemed to be back in his room; the Jedi Knight was in terror as his hands trembled in fear.

Ahsoka was shown sleeping as a voice called out to her.

"Are you happy, child?" said the voice as the Padawan opened her eyes.

Ashoka scanned the area as she tried to see where the voice was coming from.

"Your Master, does he treat you well?" said the voice as Ahsoka found the fire as someone was there. However, the being standing there looked to be the girl herself, but older.

"What concern of it is yours?" demanded Ahsoka as she stopped up with her hand on her lightsaber.

"I am your future, your potential," responded Ahsoka's older self.

"This is a trick!" shouted Ahsoka as she had both lightsabers out.

"There is a wildness to you, young one. Seeds of the dark side planted by your Master. Do you feel it?" said the older Ahsoka.

"No. He is like no other Jedi. Passionate and impulsive, but I trust him with my life." assured Ahsoka that she put her entire trust in her teacher.

"There are many contradictions in you... and in him. Be warned, you may never see your future if you remain his student. Leave this planet!" warned Ahsoka's older self as she knew what would happen in the future should the girl remain by Anakin's side.

The figure then stepped into the fire as they turned to ashes.

"Ahsoka?" said Obi-wan.

The girl now awoke as she opened her eyes. Standing in before her vision was Obi-wan as the Jedi Master had sensed her mind struggling.

"I had a vision. I think Anakin may be in trouble," said Ahsoka.

"That's not the only thing? Twilight is gone," stated the Jedi Master.

True to what Obi-wan said, Twilight was nowhere to be seen. The girl had awoken when Obi-wan went for a walk to think about what Qui-Gon had said. The girl heard something calling out to her as it was coming further inside the cave. The princess rose and began to follow the voice as it called out to her.

"Twilight?"

"Dad?" muttered the princess.

"Twilight, where are you?"

"I'm right here!" said the girl as she rushed into the darkness, as it soon turned to light.

The full view went blank as Twilight was shown. She blinked as the princess was now in her father's arms.

"There's my precious little sparkle. Come on. The festival is about to begin." stated Night Light.

"Festival?" said Twilight as she looked around.

The girl was stunned to see that she was back home. The town square was fully displayed as the people were out and about having fun. Kids chased each other while carrying wooden sticks, and some of the folks clapped along to the music playing. Twilight looked at herself as she was dressed in elegant attire before being led by the guards. They took the girl to where the rest of her family was.

"Twilight, sweetie, where did you run off too?" asked Velvet as she began to fix her daughter's appearance to look suitable.

"What's going on?" asked the girl.

"Come on, Twily, don't you remember. The festival is in honor of you!" said Shining Armor to his little sister.

"Me?" said Twilight as she looked around.

The girl saw banners with the image of her royal crest; there were sculptures and statues of her all around the town.

"Are you okay? Are you getting sick?" said Velvet as she was concerned for her baby.

"I'm fine, Mom. I'm just... stunned, is all," smiled Twilight.

"Spike! No snacking!" shouted Velvet to her youngest son.

"Fine," groaned the small prince as he had a servant bring him a plate of snacks before he dismissed him.

The royal family continued to enjoy the show as Night Light began to address the crowd. Soon the dancing began as laughter and cheer could be heard. Twilight had the biggest smile on her face as she began to partake in the festivities; she danced with every young man that walked up to her.

"I feel... happy," muttered Twilight as she twirled. Yet, in her heart, something was missing.

A show was being performed for the royal family as they all sat and watched. Soon a bell was heard.

"We're under attack!" shouted a guard.

Approaching the town were some horses; people were shown on them as they all held weapons. The people began to run as a few guards led them to safety as the others all took a position. The bandits appeared in town, and a fight ensued. Both sides began to clash and swing their weapons at each other. Twilight saw the chaos before her as her family was starting to be escorted by the guards to the castle.

"Twilight, let's go!" said Night Light to his daughter.

"No, I can handle this," said Twilight.

"What are you talking about?! You're a princess!" stated the King.

Twilight reached to her side to grab her lightsaber but gasped. She looked down to find that she didn't have her weapon. The girl thrust her hand out to push a bandit fighting a guard back, but nothing happened. The girl realized she had no lightsaber or Force powers and was no longer a Jedi.

"Twilight, you're not a Jedi! Our family has never had one! Now come on, and let your brother and the guards handle this!" said Night Light as she grabbed Twilight's arm to drag his daughter away.

"I'm not a Jedi," muttered Twilight as she saw her older brother fighting against the bandits as he took them down with the swing of his sword.

Night Light was leading Twilight to the castle to keep her safe. Just then, some shots were fired as a few bandits were up on the roofs and tried to shoot at the royal pair. Night Light managed to stop in time as the shots barely missed them. The bandit on the roof fired another series of shots as Night Light pulled his daughter close. At that moment, a figure was shown leaping through the air.

They landed and turned on their lightsaber as they deflected the blaster shots. Twilight opened her eyes as standing there was a Jedi who wielded a yellow blade.

"Get going, your majesty; I'll take care of them," said the Jedi Knight.

"Right," nodded Night Light; he pulled Twilight before she could properly look at the Jedi.

The Jedi Knight was deflecting the shots from the snipers on the roofs. He then stuck his hand out as he pulled them to the floor. Twilight and her father made it to the castle gates as they closed behind them. The girl then noticed a nearby tree as she began to climb it.

"Twilight, what are you doing? Get down from there!" instructed Velvet.

"I'm getting a better look," said the girl as she climbed the tree, not caring that bits of it were tearing apart due to the bark.

The princess climbed as she saw the Jedi fighting alongside the guards and her brother. While she may have been far away, the yellow blade and the way he moved about the field, the girl knew who it was.

Once the remaining bandits were surrounded, the guards began to take them away. All the while, Night Light was now talking with Shining Armor about letting the citizens know it was safe. The King then turned to the Jedi Knight, who was awaiting.

"Excellent work, Jedi."

"Thank you, your Majesty," said the boy as he bowed.

"Storm?" said Twilight as she saw the boy close up, and it was indeed her partner.

The Jedi Knight heard that; he looked up and saw Twilight.

"Jedi Knight, meet my daughter, Princess Twilight Sparkle," said Night Light.

"Pleasure to meet you, princess," said the boy, smiling and bowing to the girl.

"Storm? Is that you?"

"Forgive my rudeness, princess, but how do you know my name?"

"What?" said Twilight as she was confused.

"Perhaps, you could stay for dinner. As a way for me to say thank you for helping us," said Night Light.

"It'd be my honor. Plus, who turns down free food," stated the Jedi Knight as he turned to leave.

"Storm," muttered Twilight as she saw the boy leaving; she was dumbfounded that the Jedi didn't seem to know her.

Once Storm had reported to his master, the boy was guided to the castle where the dinner was about to start. The Jedi was now exploring the halls of the castle when he was suddenly pulled into a room.

"What the?" said Storm as he turned and saw Twilight.

The girl peeked her head out as she made sure no one was present before closing the door and locking it.

"Princess, what's-"

Storm didn't finish his statement as Twilight immediately hugged him. the girl sighed as she buried her face into his chest. The feeling of having her partner in front of him warmed the princess.

"What are you doing, Princess?" asked Storm as he kept his arms to the side and didn't return the hug.

"Storm, it's me, Twilight. You're partner,"

"Partner? You must be mistaking me for someone else, princess."

"Call me, Twilight," stated the girl to the Jedi.

"Uh, okay, Twi-light," said Storm as he was hesitant about addressing the princess by her personal name. "As I said, you're probably confusing me with someone else. I would have remembered a royal figure such as yourself."

"But you do know me? It's me, your partner."

"I already have a partner. And she's waiting for me to return to Coruscant," insisted Storm.

"NO!" yelled Twilight. "I'm your partner! Me!" said Twilight as she wrapped her arms around the boy to avoid letting him go.

"Twilight, can you let me go!" said the boy as he struggled to move.

"NO! I'm not letting you go until you come to your senses. I'm your partner; I'm your girl!" pleaded Twilight.

The Jedi Knight fought back as he did his best to slip free from Twilight's tight grip and not try to shove her forcefully, lest he risks getting in trouble with her parents. Twilight held on for dear life as she didn't want to lose the boy again.

"Princess, please!" shouted Storm as he slipped one of his arms free and slightly used the Force to push Twilight off him.

The Jedi Knight was walking toward the door as Twilight jumped on him, sending them to the floor. Storm landed on his back with Twilight directly on top of him as the boy could feel the princess' chest pushing into him.

"Twilight!" said the boy as he felt her breasts and tried not to think of that.

"Storm, please!" said Twilight as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

The boy got up as the girl still held onto him as he brought them over and set her down on a table. He grabbed hold of her arms and pulled them from his neck as he turned to leave. Once again, Twilight leaped at the boy as he was holding him from leaving. The girl buried her head into his back as she cried.

"Please, remember. Remember the name you gave me."

"What name?" said Storm as he broke free and unlocked the door.

"SPARKY!" yelled Twilight as Storm had just opened the door an inch when he heard that. "Sparky, that's the nickname you gave me. It's what you call me."

Storm stood there as hearing that nickname seemed to affect him, but the boy shook his head.

"Why would I call you that?" said Storm as he was about to open the door again.

"Cause I enjoy it when you address me like that! I love that name! I love the way you tease me when you call me a nerd!" stated Twilight, with tears pouring out of her eyes. "I... lov... love having you around in my life! I can't imagine it without you! Please, remember!"

Storm just opened the door as he stepped into the hall.

"Storm, I need you!" shouted Twilight one last time as she hoped that statement alone would get him to snap out of it, but it didn't.

The girl then stood before her partner as she held him in place. The princess said all she could to prove to the boy that she was indeed his partner, but that fell on deaf ears. Twilight was running through all the possibilities in her head when she thought one final thing. The one thing that would confirm everything. And it was a thing that would also reveal some hidden feelings.

"Kiss me," stated Twilight.

"What?" said Storm as he was taken aback by what the girl said.

"Kiss me. That way, you'll find out what I'm saying is true. Please."

"I-"

"That's an order!" shouted Twilight.

The Jedi Knight was caught in a rock and hard place as he knew the forbidden rule of the Jedi. But also that the princess was giving him a request, and he felt that if he denied it, it would disrespect her and the royal family. So with a deep breath, Storm approached Twilight and put his hand on her cheek. The girl felt his touch as she leaned into it and moaned. Twilight put her hand up to cusp his face when Storm quickly pulled her in as their lips touched.

The pair closed their eyes as Twilight seemed to enjoy the lip contact. The kiss lasted for a few seconds as Storm pulled apart from the princess. Twilight relished in the kiss; while it felt good, it also felt empty. There was nothing; it was even clearer as Twilight opened her eyes to see Storm wiping his lips with his mouth.

"No," said Twilight as it seemed her last idea failed. It was true. Storm didn't know her or remember her as his partner.

"Forgive me, princess. But I need to return home. Tell your father I'm sorry I can't stay for dinner, " Storm said as he walked off with Twilight dropping to her knees. "Goodbye. Forever."

"Storm. Don't leave me," said the princess as he turned to see the Jedi leaving.

She stuck her hand out as if she was reaching out to grab him before he left forever. Twilight bawled in tears on the floor as her heart broke into a million pieces. Soon everything faded to black.

In the monastery, the older man was on his throne he had his eyes closed. Just then, two lightsabers were pointed at him.

"Cannot sleep?" said the older man as he knew it was the Jedi Knights. "To strike an unarmed man is hardly the Jedi way."

"You're a Sith lord!" stated Anakin as the tip of their blades were inches from the old man's face.

"You have a very simple view of the universe. I am neither Sith nor Jedi. I am much more... And so are you," said the old man to both Jedi Knights.

"Enough with the bullshit, old man! Tell us what is going on here!" shouted Storm as he felt like just stabbing this old timer and breaking the rules of the Jedi Code for once in his life.

"To think you have been selected as the next one," the old man snickered.

"What are you talking about?" said Storm, who had no clue what this wizard was speaking about.

The older man simply grabbed both of their lightsabers with his bare hands. Both Jedi Knights were shocked as the sorcerer held onto the blade without getting hurt or cut as he stood up.

"Some call us Force wielders," said the older man as he retracted both blades with his bare hands.

"The Jedi have never spoken of this," said Anakin as he was amazed by what he witnessed.

"Mm. Few still know of our existence," replied the wizard.

"In that room, my mother came to me, but it was not her. It was something else!" said Anakin as he recalled the events.

"I saw my master; I killed her. Not to mention Twilight. And I... hurt her," spoke Storm as he too suffered his own living nightmare.

"Ah. My son, I suspect," said the old man as he was referring to the person that gave Obi-wan and the girls their warning to take shelter.

"Son? So that means..." Storm stated how to put together what the woman from earlier said as the wizard in front of the Jedi Knights was the Father.

"Correct. We can take many forms. The shapes we embody are merely a reflection of the life force around us. You carry a great sadness in your heart." said the Father as he looked at the pair. "My children and I can manipulate the Force like no other; therefore, it was necessary to withdraw from the temporal world and live here as anchorites."

"As a sanctuary?" asked Anakin.

"And a prison. You cannot imagine what pain it is to have such love for your children and realize that they could tear the very fabric of our universe," said the Father.

"I don't understand," said Storm.

"It is only here that I can control them," said the Father as he referred to his son and daughter. "A family in balance. The light and the dark. Day with night. Destruction replaced by creation."

"Then why reveal yourselves to us?" asked Anakin.

"There are some who would like to exploit our power. The Sith are but one. Too much dark or light would be the undoing of life, as you both understand it." said the Father to both Jedi Knights. "When news reached me that the Chosen One had been found, I needed to see for myself."

"The Chosen One is a myth," responded Storm as he could tell the Father was heavily interested in Anakin, and the boy was trying to protect his friend.

"Is it? I should very much like to know. As well as knowing if you have what it takes to become a bearer." said the Father.

"I'm not an Element Bearer or guardian or whatever! I'm a Jedi! I have no connection to Twilight's world." said Storm as he denied ever being what the girls were.

"Why don't we find out together?" asked the Father to both Jedi Knights. "Pass one test, and I shall know the truth. Then you and your friends may leave."

Both Jedi Knights looked at one another as they feared the worst. Speaking of their friends, Ahsoka and Obi-wan had left the cave while searching for the Jedi Knights and Twilight, who had gone missing. They were walking as sunrise was coming up on the place.

"The longer we stay here, the stranger this place gets," said Ahsoka as the pair looked at what was happening around them.

"It appears the planet is renewing itself," stated Obi-wan as with the sun coming up, everything that once died was now being reborn.

"What about Master Skywalker?" asked Ahsoka.

"Anakin will not be easy to deceive," replied the Jedi Master to the Padawan.

Up in the sky, two figures were shown flying about. They began to dive as it revealed a griffon and the bat from last night. They were heading for the pair as they turned and saw it at the last second, with the final image being their talons and everything fading to black.

At the monastery, Anakin was shown with the Father while doing his test.

"It is time to face your guilt and know the truth," said the Father as they looked up.

In the sky were the Father's children as the griffon held Obi-wan in her paws while Ahsoka was held in the bat's talons. They each flew down as they were on opposite sides of Anakin, with the Jedi Knight in the middle. They were standing on a yin-yang symbol as one was of light and the other was of dark.

"Whatever he wants, don't do it, Master!" shouted Ahsoka to her teacher.

"Let them go. I will not play your games!" shouted Anakin to the Fathe.

"Oh, but I think you will. I have ordered my children to kill your friends. The question is, which one will you choose to save?" said the Father as he disappeared and stood on a platform above. "Your master or your apprentice? You must now release the guilt and free yourself by choosing."

"No!" shouted Anakin as he wasn't going to choose between the two people he cared for.

"Their powers are too strong for us, Anakin. Save Ahsoka!" shouted Obi-wan as he was willing to die to save the girl.

"Let them go!" yelled Anakin.

"Only you can make my children release them," demanded the Father as they began to hurt Obi-wan and Ahsoka.

"Anakin, the planet is the Force. Use it!" said Obi-wan to his student.

"You will let them go!" shouted Anakin as his voice deepened and echoed while he thrust his arms out.

Both creatures were pushed back by the Jedi's power as Anakin lifted his arms up. He was now controlling the creatures as they responded to his command and were lifted into the air by his power. Above the Jedi Knight, the sky began to change. Clouds rolled by. Day became night as dramatic singing was heard. On the ground, what they were standing on became transparent as stars, and the cosmos appeared with the ground lighting up.

Anakin stood in the middle as light and darkness surrounded him, with thunder rolling above. The Jedi Knight brought his hands down as he made the creatures release his friends from their talons. The Jedi then pulled his hands in as the creatures screeched in pain as they obeyed his command. Anakin then thrusted his hands out as the creatures collided with the wall.

The creatures got up and looked at Obi-wan and Ahsoka, respectively, as each pulled out their lightsabers to fight. Before they could attack the Jedi, Anakin got a hold of both of them.

"Down!" yelled Anakin as his voice echoed due to the anger he was releasing.

Both creatures screeched in horrific pain as they succumbed to the Jedi's control.

"On your knees!" shouted Anakin as he pulled the creatures closer to him as they were under his full control.

The creatures then transformed into the Daughter and Son as they were panting heavily from the insane power of the Jedi Knight. The sky began reverting to day as the ground below stopped glowing.

"And now you see who you truly are. Only the Chosen One could tame both my children," said the Father as he appeared before the Jedi Knight and was impressed by what he saw.

"I have taken your test. Now fulfill your promise and let us go," said Anakin.

"Your friend still has to take him," said the Father as he personally separated Storm from the others as he had a special guest waiting for him.

"You must also understand the truth. Now all of you, leave us," stated the wizard to Obi-wan and Ahsoka.

"Do not trust him," warned the Padawan to her teacher.

"You think?" whispered Anakin to his student.

"I said leave us," stated the Father as everyone, including his children, left. "Do you feel your destiny? You must see it now. I am dying, and you must replace me."

"Replace you? I can't stay here," answered Anakin.

"But this is yours. It has been foretold. The Chosen One will remain to keep my children in balance." said the Father.

"No," said Anakin as he took a step back.

"I cannot force you to do this. The choice must be yours. But leave, and your selfishness shall haunt you and the galaxy." warned the Father as he disappeared.

A dark room was shown as a person emerged from the shadows.

"Where am I?" asked Storm as he wondered about the darkness.

Soon a flash of light appeared as he turned his head to avoid being blinded. The light engulfed everything as the Jedi Knight stood in an arena.

"It is time for your test," said the Father as he appeared on a podium above. He then raised his hand as coming up from the floor was another platform as on it was Twilight.

"Twilight?!" said the boy as the girl had her wrists in chains.

"Storm?" said the girl.

"Let her go!" shouted Storm up at the wizard.

"Not until the test has been complete!" said the Father as he snapped his fingers. Twilight then began to float toward him as Father clutched her throat.

"Get your hands off of her!" yelled Storm.

"Then save her!" demanded the Father as he snapped his fingers again.

Storm's lightsaber disappeared as it reappeared in the Father's free hand. Soon pillars began to rise from the ground as they surrounded the boy. On top of each one of them was a symbol; however, they were symbols that looked like the Elements of Harmony.

"If you want to save the girl, you must acknowledge your destiny!"

"What destiny!? The only destiny is the one I make!" shouted Storm.

"If only you knew how wrong you truly are," said the Father as his words rang much more true than Storm's. "Your destiny awaits you! You must seize it!"

"What destiny?! I have no association with these Elements! I'm not who you think I am!" said Storm.

"Are you so sure about that? Did it never occur to you that what you were told by the girl's father was a lie?"

"What?" said Storm.

"Now," said the Father as the elements atop the pillars glowed.

The boy's body reacted to them as he fell to the floor. The pain was shooting throughout his body as it was encased in an aura.

"Summon it! Will it into existence?!" demanded the Father to Storm.

"NO! I refuse to believe it!" shouted Storm.

"Then she will die!"

"Storm?!" shouted Twilight as she started running out of air and was fading fast.

"Release her!" shouted the boy as the lights from the elements above stopped.

"Then make it appear!" said the wizard.

"Kiss my ass!" responded Storm.

"If you will not make it appear to save her life, then you will die," said the Father as he snapped his fingers.

Twilight was flung into the nearby wall as she fell to a floating platform. Storm saw that as fury infected him. Soon the lights from the pillars began to glow as they responded to the boy. The Elements then descended as they appeared before the boy as they glowed the brightest. Storm looked away for a second as when he turned back, the Elements had taken forms, but not just any; they were in the outlines of the girls.

Before the Jedi Knight could say anything, he was punched in the stomach by one of the golden faceless outlines.

"One way or another, a sacrifice will be made," said the Father.

Storm tried to fight against the figures; the one that resembled the Element of Honesty hit him from behind and fell to the floor. The Jedi got up; he quickly tried to fight a five-on-one situation but was overpowered as he was beaten and bruised. To make matters worst, the figures began to have the faces of the girls; anytime Storm had a clear shot to throw a punch, he hesitated as he couldn't help but think they were the girl themselves.

Storm was on his hands and knees, and his entire body was covered in bruises. The boy looked up as the five figures stepped to the side; walking toward the boy was the Element of Magic as it had Twilight's face. The boy looked at it before her hands glowed with magic and a powerful beam hit the boy as he screamed in pain. Soon the rest of them all put their hands out as they each fired their respective colored beams; Storm was writhing in pain to the point where he let out a blood-curling shriek that echoed around the entire planet.

The Jedi Knight fell to the ground facefirst as his entire body seared from the pain and bruises he suffered. The figures looked at the Jedi Knight as he wasn't moving. Up above, the Father had a disappointed look.

"Seems he's not the one," stated the wizard as the figures started to leave.

Just then, something happened. A heartbeat was heard. It got the attention of the Father as he looked down at Storm's body. The heartbeat was heard again as it rang throughout the arena. It got louder, and louder, and louder, and faster, and then... it happened. Storm's eyes shot open as he put his hands next to him, and in one quick, swift motion, he got back up on his knees.

The figures all turned back to see the Jedi Knight up. Storm opened his eyes as they were in nothing but white.

"A Spark was lit, weak and frail!" said Storm in a deep voice.

The Element of Magic put her hands out to shoot out some magic; in a flash, Storm lunged forward. He ducked under the beam as he ran toward the figure and stuck his hand out. The boy got a hold of the figure's face, and with one squeeze, he crushed the face of the figure, and the head exploded. The other figures had shocked expressions as the boy stood there with his hand out closed.

Storm opened his hand as there was the Element of Magic as it infused into his body.

"Magic ignited the spark!" said the deep voice of Storm.

The Jedi quickly ran as he appeared before the Element of Honesty and shattered her arms as the figure fell to multiple pieces as the boy held the element and infused his body.

"Honesty coaxed the ember!"

The Element of Generosity charged at the boy and went for a kick; Storm ducked, and when the figure landed, he immediately went for a sweep. The Jedi managed to break and shatter the legs of the figure as he made the element appear in his hand as it entered his body.

"Generosity fanned the flame!"

The Element of Loyalty began to run toward the Jedi. Storm also began to run as the two were shown about to connect. Each zoomed past the other as they came to a halt. Storm opened his hand as there was the element; the figure had a hole through her chest and crumpled to the floor.

"Loyalty fueled the fire!"

The next attack was the Element of Kindness, which put the boy in a sleeper hold. Storm countered as he stomped his foot into the knee of the figure; it shattered upon impact. The Jedi quickly got behind the figure as he held the head of the figure. And with one quick twist, Storm snapped the neck as the figure crumbled, and the element was in his hand before disappearing inside of him.

"Kindness stoked the blaze!"

Storm then looked as only the Element of Laughter remaining. The Jedi Knight quickly ran at the figure and grabbed it before it could react. The boy slammed the figure onto the ground as he began to punch at the head of the figure, despite having Pinkie's face. The boy was relentless as magical energy oozed out from the figure; the Jedi was like a demon possessed as he kept punching the figure; despite it not moving anymore, he was sure it was destroyed for good.

He brought one final punch down as not only did he shatter the figure's head but also made a hole in the ground where the head was. Storm lifted his hand as there was the element as it entered him.

"Laughter fed the inferno!"

Storm then leaped into the air as he appeared before the Father and delivered a hard punch to his face as he knocked the wizard to the floor. The older man felt the attack as it actually pained him. He looked up as Storm loomed over him; his eyes were no longer white, but his body continued to glow. The boy held his hand out as his lightsaber appeared and turned it on with the blade pointed at the wizard.

"Release her!" demanded the boy.

"I see," was all the Father said.

The chains holding Twilight were released as Storm made his way to her. The boy fell to his knees and held the girl.

"Twilight, are you okay?" said the boy.

"Storm," said the girl as she saw her friend. "What happened?"

"You're safe," smiled Storm as he hugged the girl and held her tightly.

"Thank you, my Jedi Knight," spoke Twilight softly as a few tears fell down her cheek.

The pair relished as they were reunited once again. They pulled back to look at each other as the boy grazed the princess' cheek. Soon both leaned in as their foreheads touched each other and closed their eyes while letting out a collective sigh.

Eventually, the pair made their way to where the others were. Their ship had been returned as Storm and Anakin were about to board before looking back at the monastery one last time.

"Ready to get out of here?" asked Obi-wan to his pals.

The pair didn't say anything as they merely got on board. Safe to say, they were looking forward to getting off this place. Their ship started as they soared into the air, away from the monastery.
