[Kalos Region: Lumiose City]
A short while later, Lincoln, Sina, and Professor Sycamore were at a popular restaurant in Lumiose City, eating crepes for breakfast. Lincoln was enjoying his grape flavored chocolate covered crepe as it was extremely delicious. His knew starter Pokemon Treecko was eating a crepe specifically made for pokémon and seem to be enjoying it.
Professor Sycamore and Sina were taking in the calm atmosphere of the restaurant as Lincoln finished his crepe, before wiping his mouth with a napkin as he had to show manners that such a fancy looking restaurant.
"Thank you for the food."said Lincoln, who was about to pull out his pokedollar card to pay for his meal, when the professor stopped him.
"It's my treat today."said Professor Sycamore, before he handed a waiter his pokédollar card so he can pay for the meal.
"Thanks professor."said Lincoln, who was kind of glad he didn't have to pay as he figured a place like this had to be a bit pricey considering how good the crate was.
"Treecko."said the wood gecko Pokemon as he perched himself on Lincoln's shoulder.
"Did you have a satisfying meal, buddy?"questions Lincoln, before he scratched the wood geckos Pokemon's chin, something Treecko seems to enjoy.
"Well it's clear to me that you two are getting along fine. Now the only question is what team are you going to base your style around as there are all kinds of Pokemon, and each of them fit different kinds of trainers. So the question is what kind of pokémon you're going to catch and train for the Kalos League?"inquired Sina, who wanted to know what Lincoln's plan was.
"Well.. honestly I don't know what I'm going to do as coming here with sort of on a whim. I mean, I'm mad at my sister's for always fighting into my business and being huge hypocrites, but I don't know what I'm going to do from here as I know I want to challenge the gyms. But I don't know what gym I want to challenge first."said Lincoln, who considered challenging the Lumiose City Gym, but something was telling him that he should wait.
"I wouldn't recommend taking on the Lumiose City gym leader just yet."said Professor Sycamore, almost as if he could tell what Lincoln was thinking.
"Huh?"said Lincoln, wondering if the professor was a mind reader or something.
"The Lumiose City gym leader is one of the toughest gym leaders in all of Kalos. I would recommend building up your experience first before you take him on in a Pokemon battle. How about you take on Viola, the Santalune City Gym leader."suggested the professor.
"The Santalune City Gym leader?"inquired Lincoln, wanting to know more about this Viola person.
"She is a gym leader that specializes with bug type Pokemon. And she is the perfect gym leader for beginners as she usually uses a weak team when it comes to her Gym battles. Now, don't think she'll go easy on you as she's plenty tough, but she does have a team specialized for beginners. So taking on her gym forst would be a wife's choice."said the professor, causing Lincoln to ponder on this.
"Huh?"said Lincoln with a look saying that he was thinking.
It was true that he was a beginner and didn't know anything about pokémon battling as he just got Treecko about an hour ago. But what the professor said about the Santalune City Gym leader having a Pokemon team for beginners made the gears in his head turn. Sure, he knew that grass type Pokemon where weak against bug type Pokemon. But at the same time he could capture a few Pokemon along the way to the Santalune City Gym man hopefully catch some Pokemon that have the type advantage over bug types. Plus, Lincoln knew that Pokemon types didn't decide Pokemon battles alone, and Treecko was plenty tough in his opinion, so he didn't see a problem with the professor suggestion.
"You know what. I'll go for it."said Lincoln, as what did he have to loss by going to another gym-absolutely nothing!
"Great. All you have to do is travel through route three south, and you make it to Santalune City in about a day or two."said Sina, well she and everyone else got up from the table so they could leave the restaurant.
"Thank you for your patronage, Professor Sycamore."said the waiter, before he gave the professor back his pokedollar card with a receipt.
The professor quickly signed it and handed it back to the waiter, who then politely bow to the professor before everyone left the restaurant so that they could officially make their way back to the Pokemon lab. But Lincoln had other plans.
"Hey, I'll catch up with you guys later as I'm going to hit the pokémon center to stock up on supplies."said Lincoln, who knew he needed to stock up on supplies if he wanted to make it to Santalune City in one piece.
"Of course Lincoln. I recommend you buy pokeballs, Pokemon food, potions, full heals, and other essential items as you're going to need them for your journey throughout the land of Kalos. Your grandfather hardly use that card he gave you, and he earned a lot of money throughout his time as a Pokemon trainer so you should have no problem avoiding everything you need."said the professor, while Lincoln pulled out his card and looked at it.
"I got to remember to thank Pop-Pop the next time I see him."said Lincoln, before he, the professor, an Sina parted ways as Lincoln made his way to the nearest pokémon center that was on his Rotom phone map feature.
"Let's see, I should be able to find the Pokemon center if I take a right, here."said Lincoln, before he took a right and sure enough there was a building with a red pokeball symbol on the front, indicating that it was the Pokemon center!
"Great!"said Lincoln, before he took a deep breath and went inside the Pokemon center.
Once inside he was amazed by what he saw, as the building was much bigger on the inside than it appeared to be on the outside. The place was filled with everything you would expect a medical place to have like a cafeteria, a waiting area, Videophone area, medical station, a front desk, and not too far away what appeared to be a store known as a poke store.
"Great. First I'll get Treecko a checkup, then I'll head to the Videophone Area and call home."said Lincoln, before he made his way to the front desk where he saw a beautiful woman with pink hair, wearing a nurse outfit operating the front.
"Hello. My name is Nurse Joy, how can I help you today?"inquired the nurse as Lincoln pulled out the pokeball containing Treecko.
"Um, I like you to take care of my Treecko. Me and him are going to go to Santalune City for our first gym battle and I want to make sure he's in tip top shape."said Lincoln, while Nurse Joy took the pokeball away from him and inspected it.
"You must be a first time pokémon trainer."sad Nurse Joy with a smile.
"I am. How did you know that?"inquired Lincoln.
"Your outfit is more akin to a civilian then a Pokemon trainer, that's how I could tell."said Nurse Joy, causing Lincoln to look over his outfit.
Sure enough she did have a point as he looked around and noticed that a lot of the Pokemon trainers in the pokémon center we're wearing outfits more kin to being outside. Many were wearing outfits that look like they were sturdy enough to withstand the harshness of being outside for long periods of time. This made Lincoln feel like he was underdressed for the occasion.
"Oh.."said Lincoln, as he began blushing.
"It's nothing to be ashamed of. All Pokemon trainer start out as rookies. So you wearing that kind of outfit is something that everyone has done before. Don't worry, the pokey store sells a bunch of items, including recommended outfits for Pokemon trainers."said Nurse Joy, before she pointed to the pokey store that was on the right side of the Pokemon center.
"Thanks, Nurse Joy. I'll definitely consider you doing an outfit changes I don't want my regular clothes to get worn and torn from the harshness of being a Pokemon trainer."said Lincoln, who liked his clothes and didn't want anything bad to happen to them.
"Glad I could be of help. Now I'll take care of your Treecko. In the meantime, I suggest you keep yourself busy as this will take a while."said Nurse Joy, before she handed the pokeball over to a balloon-like Pokémon with leporine features, a bean-shaped body and stubby arms and legs. There is a fluffy, curled tuft of fur on its head, which is described as perfectly heavenly. It has long, rabbit-like ears with black insides and slightly lighter color at the tips. Its large, blue eyes are covered in a layer of tears that quickly washes away any debris. It is covered in pink fur with a white belly. The Pokemon in question was also wearing a nurse's cap.
"Who's that Pokemon?"questions Lincoln, before he activated the Pokedex feature that was on his Rotom phone.
Pokedex: Wigglytuff, the balloon Pokemon. Their fur feels so good that if two of them snuggle together, they won't want to be separated.
"Wow, what an interesting Pokemon."said Lincoln, before he put his Rotom phone away.
"Yeah, here in Kalos most pokémon centers are helped by Wigglytuff. Wigglytuff, would you be a deer and go take that Treecko for an examination."said Nurse Joy, causing the balloon pokémon to not her head in agreement before she took the pokeball containing Treecko away.
"In the meantime keep yourself busy with whatever you feel like will pass the time."said Nurse Joy, causing Lincoln to not his head before he left the front desk.
'Okay, Lincoln. What is the first thing you should do. Hmm.. I should probably stock up on items first before I forget as I'll probably get so excited with something, I'll forget that I'm here to not only check up on Treecko, but I'm also here to get supplies for my trip to Santalune City.' thought Lincoln to himself before he went to the poke store to stock up on items.
"Let's see... I'll need some potions to heal up my Pokemon on the go. I can't forget about pokémon food as that's an essential item. Hmm..full heals are over here. Hmm.. this instant tent is a must have for sleeping outside. Huh, will you look at that."said Lincoln while he made his way into the outfit section of the poke store.
And there he spotted an outfit that caught his eye. The outfit consisted of a orange zip up jacket with black lining on the zipper area, sleaves, waist line, and cuffs. Next to the jacket was a pair of navy blue cargo pants that look like they were just his size. And not too far away was a pair of black boots that look like they were his shoe size. And as if it was screaming at him to complete the outfit was an orange baseball hat with a black visor.
Lincoln liked what he was seeing so he quickly grabbed the outfit and put it into his shopping cart. Next, he went to the front cash register where he quickly paid for all of his items with the pokedollar card that his grandfather gave him. Luckily for Lincoln it wasn't that expensive as the outfit was on sale as not many people were interested in it, which honestly surprised him as he thought it was one of the best looking outfits he has ever seen in his life.
As soon as Lincoln exited the pokey store did he place all the items he had purchased in his trainer cube for easier storage.
"Okay, now to go call my parents and tell him I made it to Kalos in one piece."said Lincoln, before he made his way to the Videophone area, and quickly dialed his parents number.

[Twelve Sixteen Franklin Avenue: Rita and Lynn Sr's Bedroom]
Meanwhile, the Loud parents were counting all the money they got from the pawn shop, along with the money they took out of their savings account to help pay for new furniture that they plan to get from a second hand furniture shop. They knew that new furniture was so expensive and getting it from a second hand furniture shop was so much cheaper as the furniture was still good, and a little wear and tear never bothered them.
That is when Rita noticed that someone was calling from their laptop.
"Who's calling?"wondered Rita, as she went over to the laptop to see who was calling.
"Lynn, I think Lincoln is calling!"said Rita, who noticed the European area code.
"What?!"said Lynn Sr, before he made his way over to his wife side as they answered the call, and they're on the screen was there one and only son, Lincoln.
"Hey guys! I made it to Kalos in one piece."said Lincoln as he waved to his parents.
"Son, you have no idea how worried we've been."said Lynn Sr, who look like he was close to crying.
"I'm so glad you're okay. Are you eating okay?"questions his mother.
"Yes. I was just with the professor eating a crepe at one of the nicest restaurants I've ever been at. Mom. Dad. Lumiose City is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen as this place looks like it's a work of art. And the best part is that the people here are so nice to me despite the fact that I'm a foreigner."said Lincoln, causing his parents to smile as they were glad that their son was having a good time.
"So, did you already get a Pokemon?"asked Lynn Sr, wondering if his son already acquired a Pokemon.
"Yes. His name is Treecko. I would show you him right now but currently he's getting a check up here at the Pokemon center."said Lincoln, causing his parents to worry.
"Is he okay?"inquired Rita with a concerned look on her face
"He's fine."said Lincoln with a slight chuckle.
"He's just getting an evaluation as we're going to be going to Santlaune City for my first gym battle."said Lincoln, causing his parents to let out a sigh of relief.
"Well as long as he's okay then that's all that matters. Now remember Lincoln, don't push the little guy too hard as he'll go to the very ends of the Earth for you. So make sure you treat that pokémon well."said Rita, causing Lincoln to nod his head in agreement.
"I agree with you a hundred percent Mom. So...how are the others?"inquired Lincoln, referring to his sister's minus Lily.
"Well... their behavior could be better son."said Rita, causing Lincoln to raise an eyebrow.
"What do you mean by that?"inquired Lincoln, eyebrow still raised.
"They... they sort of threw a makeshift small party last night for your departure. We found out about it last night, and we scolded them accordingly."said Lynn Sr, remembering he's never felt so mad before in his life.
"Well... I can't say I'm surprised as I figured they try to pull something like that. Well, I think they still think I'm at Clyde's house or something as they probably think you guys couldn't afford the trip. What with them destroying most of the furniture and you guys having to replace it."said Lincoln, who figured that his sisters would pull stunts like that.
"You don't sound mad."said Rita, noticing that her son was an angry about this.
"I'm more disappointed more than anything. Hah...well, I would love to catch up with you guys but I'm hearing the nurse in charge of this Pokemon center calling my name so I'll see you guys later. I'll call you guys as soon as I make it to Santalune City."said Lincoln, before he hung up the call.
"Well, it sounds like he's doing well out there."said Rita, who is both proud and upset at the same time.
"At least he finally found something he can put his heart into."said Lynn Sr, trying to see the bright side and things.
"Well... let's just continue counting the money as we need to get to that furniture store soon."said Rita, who decided to distract herself by counting the money once again.
"Yup. And we don't want to be missing a few dollars as that store owner is intimidating."said Lynn Sr, before he went back to counting the money with his wife.

[Lumiose City Pokemon Center: Kalos Region]
"Mr Loud, your Treeko is all better now."said Nurse Joy, just as Lincoln made his way to the front desk.
"Thanks Nurse Joy. Now, how much do I owe you?"questions Lincoln, causing the nurse to chuckle a little."What's the matter?"
"Healthcare for pokémon here in Kalos is completely free as we are funded completely by the Pokemon League. So you don't have to worry about paying us."said Nurse Joy, who wondered how many pokédollars she would have if every new trainer asked her that.
"Huh, well how about that."said Lincoln, who was certainly caught off guard by that news.
But he decided not to question it is he decided to just chalk it off as how things work here and that's not to mess with the things that work. Plus, it was an added benefit as now he didn't have to worry about spending on fortune on taking care of his Pokemon's medical bills.
"Okay, now I better start making my way Santlune City."said Lincoln, who is making his way out of the Pokemon center when something caught his eye.
And that was a young man with blonde hair looking like he was running through the streets after a robot shaped like a robin?
The young man had blonde hair. He was wearing a pair of blue coveralls, sneakers, and a metallic backpack. He also had a pair of circular glasses around his face as he was running after the machine.
"Hey, look out!"shouted the young man, causing Lincoln to wonder why before he noticed that the robin like robot was starting to short circuit!
"Hit the deck!"shouted Lincoln, who quickly went back into the pokémon center, but not before pulling the young man out of the way just as the robot exploded!
"Man, that's another failed experiment..."said the young man as he looked at his destroyed creation that was on the floor.
"Your lucky you weren't hit by the shrapnel of that explosion."said Lincoln, who is getting Lisa vibes from the sky based on the fact that his backpack look like it was made out of state-of-the-art material.
"Clemont, there you are."set a young girl who looked a lot like the young man as she made her way into the Pokemon center.
She had blonde hair that was hell to the side by a fashionable pin. She was wearing a sleeveless light brown shirt with what appeared to be a black ribbon around the collar. She was also wearing a white frilly skirt and black athletic shorts. On her feet were a pair of pink slip-on shoes. She also appear to have a yellow satchel draped around the right side of her shoulder.
"Boonie, there you are. I've been looking all over for you."said the young man known as Clemont.
"Well I was trying to find you a girlfriend."responded Bonnie.
"Oh, not that again. I told you I'll get a girlfriend when I'm good and ready."said Clemont, who was clearly embarrassed.
"Well as your little sister I have to worry for my big brother and make sure that he doesn't end up alone."said Bonnie, causing Lincoln to realize that she had a headstrong personality.
"Hey, are you not worried about your brother's invention having an exploded in front of the Pokemon center?"inquired Lincoln, causing Bonnie to look at him.
"Not really. My big brother is a genius inventor, but not all of his inventions work out. In fact one of his inventions exploding every week is a sort of tradition in our house."said Bonnie, causing Lincoln to see more similarities between his sister Lisa and Clemont.
"Anyway, I'm sorry you almost got caught in my inventions explosion."said Clemont as he got up from the floor and dusted himself off.
"Naw, I'm used to it. I have a sister who's a genius inventor too and a lot of her inventions end up blowing up in her face as well."said Lincoln, seeing no big deal in the explosion, as he was used to it.
"Wow, you're a pretty chill dude for someone who just escaped an explosion."said Bonnie with interest.
"Like I said I'm used to it. Anyway, I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? My name is Lincoln, and I guess I already know your names already."said Lincoln to Bonnie and Clemont.
"It's nice to meet you Lincoln. My name is Bonnie and the guy with the aipom backpack is my big brother, Clemont."said Bonnie with a smile on her face.
"It's nice to meet you, Bonnie."said Lincoln with a smile, as Bonnie looked a lot like Lily. And this made Lincoln wonder if Lily was going to look like this when she was around Bonnie's age.
"You must be a new Pokemon trainer."said Clemont, while adjusting his glasses.
"Yes I am. I'm actually about to head to Santalune City to take on the Santalune City gym leader. I heard she has a team specialized for beginners, so I figure I should start there."said Lincoln, causing Bonnie and Clemont to look at each other.
"Well, this is quite the coincidence."said Clemont, confusing Lincoln.
"What do you mean by that?"inquired Lincoln, wondering what Clemont meant by that.
"By big brother is actually going on a journey too and he was just about to head to Santalune City. I was going to join him as my big brother is pretty useless without me."said Bonnie, causing Clemont to stagger back a bit.
"Bonnie, that was mean."said Clemont, who's feelings were clearly hurt.
"Sorry, but it's kind of true."said Bonnie, making her big brother feel even more down.
"Anyway. Why don't we go to Santalune City together since we're all going to the same place. Safety in numbers and all that."said Bonnie, causing Lincoln to scratch the back of his head.
"Well, I don't know..."said Lincoln, as he just met these people.
He was sure that Clemont and Bonnie were Good people based on the way they were acting, but he wasn't sure of the idea of going on a journey with them to the same place just because they were heading to the same place.
"Come on! My big brother is in excellent cook and you being a new trainer and all means you need support from a more experienced trainer, like my big brother."said Bonnie with confidence.
"Your a Pokemon trainer, Clemont?"inquired Lincoln.
"He's more than that. He's the Lumiose City-!"said Bonnie, before her big brother covered her mouth.
"I have been a Pokemon trainer for quite a while so I definitely know my way around a Pokemon battle."said Clemont, causing Lincoln to suspect he was hiding something, but then again it wasn't any of his business.
"Well, I do believe in safety and numbers and if your sister says you're a good cook I would like to try your cooking. So, do you want to go to Santalune City together?"inquired Lincoln, seen no harm in joining these two on his journey to his first gym battle.
"Sure. New friend should always travel together and see the world as they get to know each other."said Clemont, agreeing to a company Lincoln to Santalune City.
"Then let's go!"said Bonnie, before she began leading the way that would take them to Santalune City.
"She looks like a handful."said Lincoln, as Bonnie was easily as pushy as some of his sisters.
"Oh, you have no idea."said Clemont, before the two of them began following Bonnie to route three, and eventually Santalune City.
Unkown to the three of them, something appear to be following them, or particularly Lincoln. This creature was high up in the roof watching the white haired Pokemon trainer with a look of interest.
"Froakie."said the pokémon as it came out of the shadows, revealing itself to be the Froakie from the pokémon lab.
It seems like the bubble frog Pokemon was a bit upset that Lincoln didn't choose him. So he decided to do something about it by following Lincoln and his new friends to wherever they are going. All the wild humans are completely oblivious to his presence.
[To Be Continued]
Well, there you have it everyone.
Lincoln has officially been joined by Clemont and Bonnie. These two are some of my favorite companions of Ash's journey through Kalos.
Not only did Ask and Clemont have an amazing Pokemon battle against each other, but Bonnie sarcastic comments and constant attempts to get every beautiful woman to date her brother made me laugh every time.
Now let's see how they work with Lincoln as their companion instead of Ash.
Don't worry about Bonnie getting Dedenne, as that is definitely going to happen.
I'm still not sure if I'm going to give Clement the Pokemon from the anime or if I'm going to add some other Pokemon just to be safe. Anyway, I hope you like this new surprise and hopefully this will make the story a lot more interesting from here on out.
I'm hoping for more likes and reviews with this, fingers crossed.
Well, that should be everything I had to say so I hope all of you have a great rest of the day and stay safe out there.
PrimusPilus signing off.
