Brad woken up, he didn't slept very well since yesterday incident. He sits on the edge of his bed rather unmotivated to get up, he has to take down ayano today, he can't let her do what she did yesterday again.
He got up and did his business and head to the portal and entered the coordinance and head in.
Brad head down the same way he head to school following along everyone he knows, he was getting close to the gates and notice ayano behind the bush, watching over two people, it was taro and another girl he hadn't seen before.
She had dark navy blue hair, short height and had pale grey spider web fingerless gloves with a red armband. Brad realized she's part of a club which means that is the same as before with the two.
He approach slowly as he overheard their conversation.
"S-senpai, have you considered joining the occult?"
"Uhh, I was thinking about that. I'm sorry oka, but I don't think I will join. After everything that happened with my previous time in the other clubs, I just don't want what happen again."
"Oh...Okay, i-i understand."
Brad looks at ayano just staring at them as they continue talking, they said something about lunch as brad summon his stand and have it touch her.
This made her jump slightly as she looks back seeing him and his stand.
Brad was glaring at her as she wasn't happy seeing him too, the two left as oka said her goodbyes in a timid way and quickly left saying.
"Oh, okay."
Ayano stood up as brad stare at her.
"You know I'm gonna stop from doing it."
"You tried before, but it didn't went well. What made you think you can do it this time?"
His stand manifest behind him as it look down at her.
"Cause I'm not pulling any punches anymore."
"If you try to hurt me then I'll put the blame on you."
She had her arms cross looking unimpressed by his threats, they heard a announcement from the speakers.
"Everyone, please head to the gymnasium for the memorial of kizana sunobu."
It was quiet as brad stand disappear as he glance at her, he was about to walk away but then said.
"I'll be back."
He left as she stare at him rather annoyed as brad follow the group into the gym. It was packed as he see on the stage a long table with a portrait of kizana, with flowers on the table as well.
Brad was sadden to see this, all he hears are rumble from the students as he look around for anyone he knows and see nobody. Soon the headmaster and genka head upstage as the headmaster who was male, rather old and rather round down there head to the microphone and tap it.
This caught everyone attention as they went quiet.
"Thank you all for coming. Today we are all gathered here for the tragic loss of our president of the drama club, kizana sunobu."
Brad was sadden by this, he tried to protect her but failed, the headmaster continued.
"It was only two days ago since she was...Unexpected but unexplainably killed near the end of the play. No words can express and feel of this terrible tragedy."
Brad was lost in his thoughts as he was lamenting her death but also wanted to beat the shit out of ayano soon after this, regardless of him getting in trouble.
Soon the memorial was over as everyone left as brad was standing there giving one last look at kizana portrait and leaves with the rest.
Brad was now looking at everyone for ayano but hadn't found her in the crowd, he continue on noticing a familiar person in the crowd, taro as he was approaching him but reconsider. He doesn't know him very well but understand his feelings.
Brad decided to just leave him and head off, he needs to find ayano. While he looks for her he heard a familiar voice.
"Hello brad."
He looks back to see kuroko staring at him with her usual expression.
"Hey kuroko san."
She got closer to him as she said nearly in his ear.
"Whatever you do, don't do it."
Brad look over his shoulder and was annoyed but determined.
"No, she's going down, you can't stop me."
He turned and was about to leave until she went up and grab his sleeves and was right beside him holding him. A few people notice this which gave them certain ideas.
"If you're going to hurt her than I have to apprehend you. Do you have to speak with the counselor?"
Brad was getting upset and nearly jerk his arm away from her.
"Let go, if you're not going to help me then you're helping her."
She was appalled by that.
"I'm not helping her."
She lead him quickly away from the people and went behind a tree.
"I want to take her down as badly as you do. But hurting her isn't an option."
"You really think the law will stop her? She has a stand, she's willing to kill anyone who gets in her way, she killed three people recently and nearly kill me. She won't stop until she gets her own way, this is the reason why I'm here, to stop someone like her from killing people. And if you're not going to help then stay out of my way."
Brad try not to say it out loud which stun kuroko, she's speechless as brad was pretty upset but also feeling guilt. He looks away and head off without another word, leaving her stagger.
Brad went inside and head down the hall looking for ayano, he's going to hurt her and make sure she's not coming to school. He walk down the hall searching for her and soon found her looking around a corner inside a room, he summon his stand and was approaching her.
He stops a few feet away as she said.
"You really sure about this?"
Brad went forward and his stand grab her shoulder and turned her around facing him and grab her neck.
She gasp as her stand manifest grabbing hold of his arm as brad was squeezing her as she attempts to hit him.
"You can't harm anyone now, i'm going to make sure of that."
His stand ready to punch her until he heard a voice.
"Excuse me?"
Brad was surprise to hear another voice as his stand yet go as ayano gasp for air as they look at who said that. It was that girl who was with taro at the entrance.
"What?"
Brad asked annoyed as she look at both of them as she said.
"U-uhm, I heard commotion and two energy that I've never felt before. I was wondering, what could cause it."
Brad look at her and back to her rather perplexed as ayano was about to leave but brad stand made sure she didn't leave just yet.
"What do you mean energy?"
Ayano was annoyed as the girl said.
"Well, I just felt some aura from outside the club. I was wondering where it was coming from."
Ayano couldn't care less Said.
"Well that's interesting but I got other thing to do."
Brad let her go but decided to have his stand trip her while she move on as she fell on the floor. Brad turned around and said.
"Oh be careful, you could hurt yourself."
She got up and look at him annoyed and quickly stand up and head off as it was them.
Brad turns his attention to her as she look timid as she said.
"C-can you come inside, I would like to examine you a little."
Brad was perplexed and finds that strange.
"What?"
She looked embarrassed as brad figure it could be fine so he seem.
"S-sure, I guess it would be okay."
She looked a bit relieved as she back up a bit.
"Okay, come with me."
Brad wonder if this is a good idea but follow her into the room.
Inside the room was dark that has six members including taro who isn't a member. Brad glance around seeing bookshelves, a star upside on the walls and the ground, a podium with a skull with a dagger in it.
Brad finds this room strange but also slightly creepy, everyone was starting at him but quickly continued their activity of reading.
Taro was rather puzzled why brad is here.
"Brad?"
"Hey."
Brad said rather uncomfortable a little as she turns to them and looks at taro.
"You, know him?"
"Yeah, me and him were in drama club together, even in the baking club."
His face lower as he remember those moments with his friends, brad realize his expression and was upset. The girl notice it as well.
"Are, you okay?"
"Oh...Is nothing..."
Brad didn't know if he should not talk about those incidents but figure he needs to find time to heal.
"Okay. W-well, I have to talk to brad, for a while... I-i'll talk to you later at lunch, senpai."
"Oh, okay. See you."
He wave her goodbye and left glancing at brad with a neutral expression and left the room. She look at brad with a curious gaze which put brad off.
"Is there something you wanted to say?"
"Oh, umm...Sorry for being forward but I need to examine you. You have a unique energy around you, almost like...Powers, or something."
This caught a few of her members attention as they glance over their books. She turns to her members and spoke.
"E-excuse me, everyone."
They all look at her as she was rather uncertain but said.
"I-i need all of you to leave for a moment. I'm going to figure out his spirit for a while."
They seem perplexed while a few didn't question and left but a boy with glasses stood up and head close to them.
"Oka, are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure. He's somewhat special than others besides them. Please, it will only take a bit."
He looks at Brad rather unsure but had a look of discontent.
"Alright."
Him and everyone else left leaving them in the room.
Brad figured she maybe sense his stand or his energy as she couldn't stare straight at him.
"C-come closer brad. We need to be in the circle to make this to is full effect."
Brad looks down and was unsure, he glance at her and decided to go, even know he don't want to really.
He was in the middle with her facing face to face as she was trying not to look at him.
"P-please, bring out your, hands..."
Brad did just that as she grab his rather hesitant but grab them, she stare at his hands as they were quiet. She close her eyes as brad waited for anything but it was silent. Then she look forward as her composer change, she stand straight as her eyelid twitch slightly as she opens them with wide eyes which surprise brad a little actually.
"Brad. Your energy is... strong, like there's another part of you that has potential, untamed..."
Brad finds this strange but figure she might have a knack with these things.
"Really?"
He let go as she looks away and was back to her usual self.
"S-sorry, you're the first I have met that has energy that surpass many I have tried... But there is, someone else."
"Right, ayano."
She looks at him with curious light in her eyes.
"That's her name?"
Brad knows she have to stay away from her, she will go to her.
"Oka, right? Stay away from her, she's not good."
She blink rather unsure as the door open as they look back to see akane standing there.
"Brad?"
He made a noise as she continued.
"Oh, brad. The student counselor want to have a talk."
Brad figured he'll be call there. He looks back at her.
"Sorry, but I got to go."
"Oh, okay. I-i'll see you later."
He said his goodbyes and left to head to the room, akane watch him leave and was feeling unsure and bad for him.
He was getting closer as he grab the handle and open the door and she turned her attention to brad.
"You're here, come sit down."
Brad close the door and sit down in the seat as she stares at him.
"So brad, do you know why you're here?"
He was quiet for a little while but said.
"Yeah, I do."
"So, you do know, then can you explain me what happened?"
Brad figure to say the truth, even know is not believable.
"Okay, I tell you: I am not content with ayano, you don't know this but she's attempted to kill other people. In fact, she already did."
This surprise genka which she quickly changed to a upsetting look.
"Brad, are you saying that ayano killed someone?"
"Yes, but she isn't killing them normally."
She was not convince and look upset.
"You serious believe I will Believe that?"
Brad was not changing his expression.
"Yes, she has a stand, it gives her powers that she used to killed those two people those pass days."
She was shocked which quickly turned upset.
"Brad, accusing your classmates of murder is a serious accusation!"
Brad's getting annoyed as his aura was starting to show.
"She has killed them, i seen it and i saw her powers."
"What power? Are you making this up?"
"I'm not, she has a stand and I have a stand. I can prove it."
"Really? By all means, prove it."
She lay back slightly while crossing her arms. Brad stand manifested and grab her glasses which she notice quickly since her vision went bad.
"W-what the-?!"
She try to grab her glasses but brad lean it away and hold it above as she try to grab it. She grunt as she attempted to grab it again but brad lean it to her right as she tried again while briefly said something but he lean it away again and put it back on her.
She was shocked and astonished by this, she tries to sort this but couldn't figure it out.
"H-how did you did that?"
"I told you, my stand, I can grab things without grabbing it."
His arms cross as she was still astonished by this, she was silent, trying to figure a logical reason for this but couldn't.
"Y-you said is your stand, what is it?"
"A stand is a physical manifestation of a person fighting spirit and psyche, it comes into many forms but at times is usually humanoids. Ayano has one, and she's using it to kill your students, and only I can take care of her."
"Wait, what? What do you mean you're the only one?"
"Because, only stand users can see other stands, and their stands are the only way to harm them physically or other means to harm them. Nobody else have a stand, so I have to do this."
She was surprise and realize what he meant.
"W-wait, what are you planning on doing?"
Brad was quiet, he figure he can't tell her that he's going to beat up ayano, she'll stop him from trying unlike kuroko.
"I...Try to expose her last time, it didn't go well. This time I'll try a different means, I'm not really so sure what to do."
She was not sure what he has planned but figure is not good.
"Brad, whatever you're planning, you can't do it. If you're planning on harming her then you will be expelled if you try."
Brad was upset since he will try, but figure to not express it.
"Harm her? She already killed three students already, are you really just going to let go and do it?"
"Brad, of what you say is true, then I'm afraid is out of my hands. Ayano hadn't committed a crime by her actual hands."
Brad was ready to stand up.
"That's right, I'm here to take care of her."
She was perplexed by that.
"What do you mean? How long you have the stand?"
"Pretty long, I face many other stand users before and witness there deeds, they will try to use their ability to their advanage."
She was quiet, not sure on to respond.
"Listen, I have to deal with her, nothing you can do to stop me. I don't care If i get expelled, she needs to be put down, so the others won't be harm."
She was surprise to hear this, she try to take control of this.
"L-listen brad, we cannot have any fights here in school, even if it's what you will be doing. If you're dead set on this then I'm afraid I have to have somebody to keep an eye on you."
He was perplexed as he tilt his head.
"What?"
"In fact, let me get one of the council here."
Right where she finished the door open as they looked and saw it was kuroko heading in with her usual stance.
"Ah, kamenage, good timing. I want you to keep an eye out on brad, since he's in the same class as you."
"I will, kunahito san."
Brad was not okay with this as she glance at him.
"Come brad, class will begin soon."
"Right, good day to you too."
Genka said as she continues working on her laptop as brad was annoyed but stood up and head out with her as brad close the door and follow her down the halls.
"Were you listening to our chat?"
Her eyes widen slightly as she decided to make something up.
"No, I was heading down this hall and heard your conversation."
Brad being skeptic let it slide and said.
"Sure, well i'm still gonna try something to ayano."
She was not to fond of that and figured he will try something.
"Brad, you know what will happen when you try to hurt ayano, you'll be expelled."
"Kuroko, I'm not from this world, you know that, and I'm going to stop her."
Kuroko looks at him rather displease by his words.
"Brad, you said that before, can you prove you're not from here?"
"Fine, here, see this."
He pull out his tablet and show it to her, this confuse her since he pull it out from his back waist.
"What is it?"
"Is my tablet, it tells me my assignment and helps with directions at times and other things."
She grab it and look at it, as it shows a simple subject saying.
"Stop ayano aishi."
It also show directions and location of where she could be as she look back at him.
"Where did you get this?"
"I, got it from my base, technically is my bro base but we share it."
She looks at it one more time to see the company who made it but didn't found no names or anything besides layout.
"I'll be taking that."
He grab it and put it back as she wonder where he's putting it.
"Where you put it?"
"Oh, well I have something called, universal holster where I can put a lot of things in my sides and it will be invisible to everyone, me too but I can still feel it."
She was quiet as she realize the time and students rushing upstairs.
"Quickly, we talk later."
They head upstairs and in their class as they learn for a bit.
After class it was lunch as brad packed up and got up, he left as kuroko was following behind and soon was right next to him.
"You're still going to follow me?"
"I'm afraid so, I have to keep an eye on you, kunahito san orders alright?"
Brad was not content with it but can't do much about it.
"So much for keeping a low profile."
Kuroko glance at him and was not okay with it either.
Brad went down the stairs as he figure to tell her what he'll be doing."
"Kuroko, ayano is after a girl named oka, she's going to be having lunch with taro."
She looks at him.
"Ruto? She's back, well that's a problem. If ayano is after her then, the same thing that happened last week will start over again."
"Yes, that is why I need to stop her."
She was not on board with this but figure to try something else.
"Brad, we need to come up with something else, fighting ayano won't work well, you don't know what you're up against. We need to figure something else."
"Like what? We try everything and it backfire. How are we goi-"
Brad stop realizing an answer, this confuse her.
"Uh brad?"
"I, got an idea. If she wants senpai then let's give him to her."
She wasn't following.
"I'm sorry, I don't follow."
Brad looking annoyed by her lack of realization.
"If ayano's killing those girls because of taro, then let's get her with him."
"Oh, that's what you mean. But how are we getting ruto away from him?"
Brad was in thought and look down the hall and realized that ayano could be there any moment.
"Come on, we find out together."
They head down the hallways looking for them or ayano as they walk pass a few students including a girl with blonde hair wearing a scarf with a camera. She look like she's on the lookout for something, this caught brad attention.
"Hey, who's her?"
Kuroko turns to her walking away as she said.
"That's bureiku dafuni, she's part of the photography club. Ever since kizana incident, they realized that somebody killed her and is investigating who it could be."
Brad was perplexed a little and figured this is a bad idea.
"They really think they can find somebody who doesn't actually attack their victim without touching them?"
"They don't know that."
He turns to her.
"Exactly, they're not dealing with a regular killer."
"Brad, we can't talk about this in public, we got to see if-"
She was interrupted by someone as they look at who it was and saw a boy with blonde hair with a camera and a red armband.
"Hey, have any of you heard anything recently? Like seen anything?"
Brad was about to say something but didn't, instead he look at kuroko who didn't seem concerned.
"No, we hadn't."
He nod his head and looks at Brad, Brad just swing his hands on his legs.
"No, not me either."
He nods his head a few times letting that info in.
"Okay, thanks for telling me. Also, why you two together?"
Brad right eyebrow lift up as kuroko was perplexed a bit.
"Brad got in trouble, so kunahito san told me to keep an eye on him."
"What she means that she's going to follow me the whole time, in school."
He points his thumb at her as she looks at him and away, he was not sure how to feel about it.
"O-oh okay, well I gotta go."
He walks away as they separate abd have him move along as they move on.
"Who was he?"
"That's jonzo fureddo, he's the president of the photography club."
"Right, the guy who sits in front of me and the dude who took a picture of me at the play."
They went around the corner as brad figure that her being near could be problematic.
"Kuroko, you being close could bring you into trouble, if she knows we're working together then she'll target you."
She looks at him and was slightly worried.
"I know, but right now, i'm just watching you. We cannot make it look like we're working together."
"Right..."
They were at the occult club as they look inside but no one was in there, until they turn around and see the members sitting on the benches.
The first person they saw was shin, he was eating with two other guys as the two approach them. They stop eating as brad looks at kuroko to speak.
She glance at him and was annoyed at that, she asked.
"Excuse me, but have you seen oka lately?"
He looks at her with uncertainty.
"Uhh, yeah. She's up on the roof with this boy."
"Thank you."
They leave without a boy with glasses said.
"W-wait, is oka in trouble?"
"No, I need to know if she's here."
"Oh, okay."
He look a little embarrassed as she walk away with brad following behind, the three look at them walking away as they head upstairs.
"Let's hope we're not too late."
"Right."
They continue upstairs and were on the roof, the glance around and notice the two near the middle as they head to the doors. They walk pass a tan girl with blonde hair and pink highlights as she glance at them with a smug smile, brad look back at her and continue since she's one of the bullies.
Kuroko notice brad staring.
"Brad, why are you staring at her?"
"Because, she's a bully."
"Excuse me?"
"Wait, you don't know it?"
They were behind the door leading to the two as kuroko continue.
"No, kokoro is not a bully."
Brad scoff since she's wrong.
"She is, she and four others are bullies. She bully a girl name horuda and set me up to make us look like stupid people.
She was puzzled a bit as brad turns around.
"You asked her, we got a person to deal."
He open it up and see the two and head out and notice ayano looking around the corner. Kuroko stay back to see brad talk.
"Hey."
He greeted them as they look at him.
"Oh, hey brad."
Brad looks at them and at ayano who quickly head back to the side as brad said.
"You guys feel like you're being seen by someone?"
This confuse taro as oka seem suspicious.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Oka glance over her right as she look at the wall.
"Hey, you maybe right. I felt something around the side."
Brad walks to the side and saw no one, this surprise him since he was expecting to see her.
"What?"
His face were surprised as the two were concerned.
"Is everything okay?"
Brad knows that ayano is getting better with her ability which is bothersome.
"Yeah, I thought I saw someone."
This made taro uncomfortable as brad looks at them with uncertainty.
"I-i gotta go, see you."
Taro wave at him.
"Okay, bye."
They find that awkward as oka glance over her shoulder to where she felt that energy, it wasn't good.
Brad head to where kuroko is and head downstairs to see her looking up at him, brad descend down the stairs and stops where kuroko is.
"So, how did it go?"
"Well, Ayano was definitely spying on them, but when I tried to expose her she just disappeared."
This caught her attention in a worried way.
"She disappeared?"
"Yeah, she's getting better with her ability, we need to be careful with her."
"R-right. But what about oka?"
Brad looks back and could of sworn he saw somebody looking around the corner from the door, the person had dark hair which made him worried.
"We gotta go, she's probably watching."
He tried to whisper that as kuroko nod as they head downstairs and continue going down until they were on the first floor.
"Okay, hopefully we're clear."
"Yes, let's hope."
She glance around as brad did the same as no one was around them.
"Okay, about oka."
"Y-yes, you have to sabotage her time with taro, I will not associate with this."
"Alright, I understand. But how exactly?"
They brain storm as brad came up with something.
"Okay, I think I know. Oka is strange, from first glance. If we weird taro away from her, then hopefully ayano will stay away."
"Okay, seems like a good plan. But ayano..."
"*sigh* I'll deal with her somehow."
She nod her head understanding as brad notice somebody glancing around the corner as brad face intensify.
"There she is."
His stand manifest as yellow smoke quickly went upstairs as kuroko saw him disappear, which surprise her. Brad was now facing the person who he thinks was ayano but saw it was horuda shocked and surprised as she back away only to fall down on the floor while yelping.
This surprise brad as his upset look changed, she was still shocked and frightened by his sudden appearance.
"W-what?"
Brad knows he messed up, as he tried to revaluate the situation.
"I-i'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."
"H-how did you-?"
"I was coming your way."
"No, you were just down there a second ago."
She points down the way brad was as her frighten look turns to a baffling look.
"N-now I can explain that."
She shake her hear slowly.
"N-no, you're lying. Everything they said is true, you are weird."
She got up and ran off as brad was flabbergasp and was trying to say something but incoherent words was coming out. He looks down at kuroko who was stun as he is, brad express his baffling look by put his arms out to the right.
She swing her head to her left as brad figure to run after her as he quickly took off. Kuroko was uncomfortable but heard a voice from behind.
"Hey kuroko chan!"
She heard multiple footsteps coming towards her as she was surprise to hear that.
"Oh no..."
She whisper as she adjusted her glasses and turned around.
Brad was running after her as she was further away.
Brad called out to her but she didn't respond but kept running as they ran pass students as she ran into the woman's bathroom in the east hall.
Brad stop and realize he can't enter as a few people walk pass, glancing at him with puzzled look.
Brad was narrow about this, he can't enter the girls bathroom, but has an idea.
"Alright, fine. I'll leave."
He walk down the stairs but has his yellow smoke around the girl bathroom and enters the boys bathroom. As he continued downstairs he teleported into the bathroom and lean around the corner seeing her doing the same.
Brad smile a little and head to her without her knowing, brad greeted her which made her jumped and turned around to see him.
Brad surprise by her shock, try to comfort her.
"Whoa whoa, is alright please don't run away again."
She was baffled and scared as she back away nearly pleading.
"Brad, how did you-?!"
"If you let me explain then... Well it will only be more confusing."
Brad realized that he need to tell her his power, she was perplexed but still on edge.
"Okay, what I tell you, is true but don't tell anyone else..."
He prepared himself and look at her.
"I have a thing called a stand. It's a manifestation of my fighting instinct that gives me, powers."
Her worried look change to doubt but confusion.
Brad realized her looks and figured she would doubt him.
"How would you explain me ending up in the boys bathroom?"
She was in thoughts as it was silent until she spoke.
"W-well, if you have powers...Then how did you get them?"
She wasn't looking at him as brad was thinking on how to say it.
"Well, is not easy to gain such powers but. Is kinda complicated."
She briefly look at him and look away, she spoke.
"I see. But. What were you talking about when you were with kuroko?"
Brad wasn't sure on how to say it, but avoid the conversation."
"Oh, well she's just telling me to get to class on time, really."
She didn't seem convinced.
"No. You're lying, i overheard you talking about ayano."
Brad was surprise but try not to show it, even know he didn't succeed.
"How much did you heard?"
This intimated her a little as she back away one step.
"I-i didn't heard much."
Brad recompose himself and try to not scare her, he back away.
"Right, sorry didn't mean to intimidate you."
"I-is alright."
Brad knows that she won't let this pass until he tell her.
"Ayano is not a good person, she has been involved with the killings of those three girls these pass week. And we have been trying to expose her so she will pay for her action."
This surprise her as she was nervous, brad didn't like telling others about their plans but he can't keep this a secret from her.
"Really? Ayano is the reason those girls are dead?"
Brad look back at the hall making sure no one is listening.
"Yes, but we can't tell anyone about this, okay? If she knows then she'll go after you."
This scared her a little as she glance behind her.
"Okay, I won't tell anyone. But how do you know?"
"She has a stand too, but no one else can see it."
This puzzle her.
"Huh? Why?"
"Cause only stand users can see stands."
This shocked her as she was worried.
"Oh, o-okay. I won't tell a soul."
"Good."
He look back at the hallway seeing a few students walking around ashe look back at her.
"I gotta go, see ya horuda."
He head off as she said.
"Bye..."
She looks at him with a concerned look which turned sorrow.
Brad head down the hallway now heading back to kuroko.
Meanwhile.
Kuroko turns around to see Musume and her friends, they look smug like as she said.
"People saying that you been hanging around brad for quite some time, they been wondering if you two are going straight?"
Kuroko was surprise but didn't show it, she adjusted her glasses and said
"No, we're not. I'm keeping an eye on brad right now, under kunahito orders."
"Oooh, brad got into trouble? What was it?"
Kuroko wasn't liking this conversation.
"That's for me and kunahito to know."
The girls looked disappointed as Musume cross her arms and blew a raspberry.
"Lame, you always so secretive."
The purple girl speak up.
"You can tell, is either you or somebody else."
Kuroko look at her nearly perplexed but was not okay with her choice.
"Brad is not punished by anything, the councilor wanted me to keep an eye on brad."
They seem doubtful, kuroko wanted to go before they asked too much.
"Please leave any people's business to themselves, don't involve with others businesses."
She turned around and head off as the girls were discontent with kuroko brushing them off, Musume wasn't okay with this the most.
"Kuroko, who do you think she is? The club president?"
This made a few of them chuckle as Musume couldn't help but smile a little at that.
"I know right?"
The girl in green said than continued.
"Like she'll ever be the club president of the student council, nobody really likes her anyways."
They started laughing a bit as Musume said.
"You're right Hoshiko, nobody likes her, she'll be boyfriendless when she graduates. Besides, we're not finished with her or brad yet."
Kokoro was starting to feel concerned.
"Hey, Musume, you're sure of going through with this?"
She looks at her with a disappointed look.
"Yes kokoro, we cannot have her spend info about us, including my father. Come on, let's go."
Without objections they follow her down the hall the same way they came, kuroko was behind the wall around the corner listening to everything they say and was disheartened by those words. She was sadden, upset but try to kept her composer, she grip her hands while it slightly shake.
She huff slightly and move on in a quicker pace, no longer formal as she head off to clear her mind.
Brad was heading to his classroom since class well begin soon, he notice a few students here and kuroko wasn't here yet. He head to his chair and sit down, waiting for the class to begin. He notice taro heading in and head to his seat near the end of the room.
Brad glance at him as he was already getting his notes out, brad look away for now and notice Musume entering as she glance at him with a unamused look and sat one row down from brad. He didn't realize she sat close to him, in fact she's kuroko neighbor.
He look away, trying not to make attention to himself as nearly everyone came in besides kuroko who wasn't here yet. This made Brad a little concerned as the teacher came in soon as class begins.
While working for nearly four minutes kuroko came in, she head straight to her desk without any issues from the teacher which almost made Brad raise a brow.
She sat right next to brad as he glance at her a bit, she didn't pay any attention but pull out her notebook as they continue working.
Soon class was over as brad got up and pack his things while kuroko head out without a word. He notice she wasn't holding her hands together behind her back which puzzled him. He heard a voice behind him.
"Hey braad."
He felt a close presence behind him as he feels her barely breathing on him.
He look over his shoulder to see Musume behind him.
"You and me needs to talk, follow me to somewhere private."
She said it in a intimate but almost flirty way which made Brad shiver but oddly aroused, but wasn't taking the bait.
"Sorry, but I got other things to attend to."
She was annoyed by his dismissal.
"Ugh, you can't just ignore me, brad!"
He walks away which have a few people notice them as brad walks out and head off to find kuroko, but figure to find oka to make sure she's alright.
He head down the stairs and head to the occult room and realize that cleaning time was going, he left his classroom without a second thought. He decided to look for oka at least but doesn't have a clue on where to go.
He waited there for a bit until he notice a few people walking by, with cleaning utensils. Brad awkwardly look away as they left as brad was waiting for any of the members to come, he notice a few of those members coming down the hall.
He stood behind the wall as they glance at him while walking pass as he eventually saw oka coming down the hall with ayano right next to her side. This made Brad mouth agape in fear as he quickly changed his expression as they approach him.
The members glance at him as they head in, the boy who questioned him before glancing at him and even glare at him for a bit before entering the club room. Brad didn't pay any mind as he see the two getting close as he said hi.
"Hi, mind if I join you two?"
This surprise oka as ayano was neutral the whole conversation.
"Oh? Y-you want to join us? Are you, willing to join our club?"
Brad was not expecting that as he glance at ayano but making eye contact.
"Uhm, I don't know. I just want to see what this club is about."
"Oh...Okay."
She look at ayano to her side as she turn her head to oka.
"Ayano, c-can you wait for me, in the club?"
"Sure."
She briefly glance at brad before heading in as he notice the dark smoke coming from her.
Oka felt shiver from ayano's aura as she looked nervous.
"She's really giving off bad vibes, is she here because of...Me?"
He got closer to her looking inside seeing her looking around the room while occasionally glancing at them. Brad said quietly.
"I'm afraid so."
"There's something off, about her."
"Well don't worry, I won't let her try anything."
She look at him rather surprise to hear that, and a little flattered.
"Oh...Thank you, but it's fine."
Brad doubt that.
"Right, so is she joining?"
"Y-yes, she is."
Brad looking disappointed and upset.
"Oh great..."
Oka was unsure.
"Do you think I'm making a mistake?"
"Yes, you have. She isn't interested in the club, she's here for you only."
"W-why me?"
"Because of taro."
She was shocked to hear this, she was looking inside seeing ayano standing around looking at the banner on the other side.
"Why taro?"
"She likes him, and she got rid of anyone who's interest in him."
This made her more worried as they heard footsteps coming to them which made oka flinch frighten. They saw him rather surprise by her reaction.
"Uhm, oka?"
She calm down a bit.
"Y-yes shin?"
"Uhh, our activities will begin soon."
"Oh...R-right, I almost forgot."
"Right..."
He glance at brad and head back in the club as oka look back at brad.
"Brad, do you want to witness our summoning?"
This perplexed him.
"Summoning?"
"T-that's one of our activities, we try to summon spirits to communicate with them."
Brad was baffled and was quiet, he hadn't heard such a thing in a high school.
"So let me get this straight: You're going to summon a spirit to communicate with it? Does this work often?"
She look away rather disappointed.
"N-no, not actually."
Brad didn't know if he should be relieved or not.
"Right...I'm afraid I have to be near you, I don't trust you guys being alone with ayano."
"Oh, okay. Come in."
Brad follow behind her as he notice they're putting on a black gothic robe, this made him unsettled as ayano was already wearing it. To him it suits her, oka walk pass him to grab a robe as well, this started to unsettle him more.
Shin was looking at brad rather unsure about him and head to oka.
"Hey, why is he still here? Is he joining?"
She finished putting on her robe and said.
"No, he's witnessing us trying to summon a spirit."
He back up a bit as he seem concerned but unsure.
"He can't stay, he might messed with the communication."
Brad overheard that and figure he wasn't welcome, it was visible on his face as he glance at ayano who was neutral and was looking away.
Brad looks back at them as oka head to him.
"I-i'm sorry but, you can't stay right now."
"Is fine, I didn't want to stay in here anyways. But I'll look through the door windows."
She nod her head.
"Alright, we'll begin once you leave, make sure to close the door before leaving."
Brad turns around and wave off.
"I will, see you."
He heads out and close the door as he watch from the window, he see the group gather around the star as he can barely hear oka saying anything. They soon got onto their knees and prepared themselves, bras can't hear them well, it sounds muffled as he kept an eye out on ayano as they raised their hands out and above as he watched.
Brad stood there watching them for a while and was starting to feel bored, he then heard footsteps coming to him as he turns and see its kuroko.
She went up to him as brad said.
"Hey kuroko, how you been?"
She seemed discontent and wasn't staring at brad in the eyes.
"I been through better days. You're watching them?"
"Yes, they're, doing something."
"Oh, that."
She went and see the activity going on and look back at him.
"Why are you here?"
"To make sure ayano don't try anything."
He look back inside and see that black smoke approaching oka which made Brad upset and surprised.
"Shit, she's at it again."
"What?"
Kuroko said rather shocked to hear that as she look through the window only seeing the members there.
Brad summon his stand as he used his yellow smoke to stop ayano smoke but oka jumped suddenly which caught everyone by surprise. Brad intersect Ayano's smoke as oka said.
"I-i felt something. S-something dark..."
She look worried as she look at each of her members as oka didn't seem too comfortable.
One of her member with glasses said.
"Is it...Our ritual?"
"I-i, d-don't know...I felt this dark feeling before."
She look at ayano with a sudden realization but intrigued.
"Ayano, you're the one with that feeling. The same feeling I felt with brad. In fact, is right in front of me."
She can't see it but ayano and brad smoke are fighting against each other in clashes as Ayano's smoke tries to head around Brad's but his keep heading in the way.
Oka was starting to felt overwhelmed by their powers and stood up.
"I-i'm afraid we have to stop our activity for the time being."
This shocked her members as shin said.
"What? But we don't stop our activities so quick."
A girl with skull in her ponytail said.
"This must be serious."
The others agreed as oka apologized for this, the others soon agreed as ayano look at the door windows and saw two people there, brad and kuroko as she quickly get out of frame as brad said.
"Kuroko go. I'll handle ayano."
"You're not going to-"
Brad look at her with a serious glare.
"Just go."
Kuroko was about to say something bit figure to leave, ayano will be leaving and she doesn't want to know that she's working with brad.
She left without a word as brad back away and waited for ayano to leave as he waited for a bit as the wait felt tense.
The door open as all of the club members left except for ayano as oka was with shin as oka notice brad at the corner of her eyes and stop to see him.
"H-hey brad."
Shin was pretty surprised to see her interested in him which didn't sit well with him.
"Hey oka, what happen in there?"
"Well...We were conducting our ritual until, I felt that same energy but, it was potent."
Shin stood behind her to her right waiting slightly inpatient as he said.
"I-i'll catch up to you next time oka san."
"Y-yes, you too shin."
He walks away as brad glance inside and notice that ayano was gone, this surprise brad as he look back at her worried.
"Ayano is not inside."
This shocked oka as she check and saw that ayano was gone. She back away as brad look around and notice a dark hole sliding across the floor
"Where she go?"
Brad tap her right shoulder which made her jump as she look at him to see him looking at the floor.
"We gotta go, now!"
Oka scared but also puzzled as brad briefly look at her and said concerned.
"Go!"
She applied and run down the hall as the black hole was following them as they ran down the hallway. Brad look back to see it catching up as he summon yellow gas and block her way, it stops as it tries to get around it but couldn't.
They reach the corner as brad slow down in which oka slow down and stops as they look down the hall.
Brad back away signaling her to move on as she didn't at first since she was curious on what he sees. The black hole went to the wall as it shirk and disappeared into the wall. Brad was baffled and then saw it went under the door frame as brad's startle and panicking gestured her to moved as they run around the corner and keep moving.
The hole keeps following them as they ran fast in which caught most of the teachers attention as brad was faster than oka as he went past her and the hole was quickly gaining on them.
Brad glance back to see it getting close to oka as he was summoning his stand and used yellow gas around the corner and teleported them further down the hall. One of the teacher went and checked but saw nobody there in which she shrug her shoulders and went back to work.
Oka's surprised and was baffled by that and couldn't get the chance to see something as brad put his finger up to his mouth gesturing her to be silent. The black hole was coming around the corner and stops, it look like it was searching as oka said: "Brad-?"
This trigger the hole to quickly head to them as brad backs away which startle her as brad quickly thought of something as his smoke surrounded them as no more sounds were coming from them besides voice.
Oka stumble and fell but no noise came from the fall, brad notice her fell as she was baffled and said.
"What-?"
Brad put his index finger in front of his mouth to tell her to be quiet as they teleported outside at the entrance, brad told her quietly to hide and follow him.
The black hole stops to the last location where she heard oka voice but couldn't find her or brad. The hole search and couldn't hear anything as ayano peak out enough to look around and didn't see anyone.
She got out from the void and look around now searching for them.
"Where are they?"
She said to herself while looking for them, brad and oka were hiding behind a tree as oka was panting heavily but she held on to her breath as brad was making sure she's safe.
They heard footsteps coming as ayano was at the front entrance and look around and look down the open gate saying.
"They probably left, I'll find them."
She moved on as oka glance around the corner seeing ayano moving on and leave the school entrance. Oka sighed in relieved as brad said quietly.
"No loud breathing yet, she could still hear us."
This made oka worried as her breathing was steady as she back away giving each other space as she was pondering this.
"Brad, what just happen?"
Brad figure he should explain.
"Okay oka. I'll tell you: You know that odd sense you're feeling? Well you're right about that. I am special, and so is ayano."
Oka was astonished and intrigued.
"The reason is because, we have powers. Stand powers to be exact."
Her awe quickly changed to confusion.
"Stand powers? What is that?"
"Well... Stands are the physical manifestation of your fighting spirit, also know as your spirit. Each and every stand are different and unique with their own powers."
Oka was starting to become intrigued again but felt off.
"Why does this sound familiar?"
This puzzle brad but he push it aside.
"Anyways, we have powers, mine is to create a yellow smoke that I can do well, a lot of things with. Such as teleport us, make our noises muted, used it offensively like a weapon and a few others."
"That's, quite a lot. But how come I can't see it?"
"Well, that's because only stand users can see stands. Ayano is one so she can see mines."
"H-how did you get your stand?"
Brad was quiet, trying to remember how he did.
"I'm not sure, my brother said he got his from certain reasons. He said he could've been born with it or earn it. I doubt he earned it, but I don't know."
Oka was confused again, she was curious about this and said.
"Brad, can you follow me? I need to know more about this."
Brad perplexed was unsure as he look around wondering if he stay or not.
"Alright, sure. As long I stay with you then you won't be harm by ayano."
This made her a bit surprised to hear, almost a little flattering as she look away saying.
"O-okay. We have to leave."
Brad figure to not go yet.
"Hold on, we should wait for a bit."
This made her confused but understand, they waited for a while as oka was asking questions.
"Brad, what did you saw?"
"I saw a black hole on the ground, it look like a void and it was moving fast."
"Really? That's quite intriguing but also horrifying."
Brad looks at her as he look at the gate and figured they waited long enough.
"Alright, I think we're good for now."
"A-alright, follow me."
They went off as brad notice Shiromi walking down the path from a far as she seem lay back as usual. Brad hoping she won't tell anyone about them but figure she will, she did it once and will do it again.
Brad look at her until he left with oka through the gates as they moved on down the path until they were in the neighborhood.
At this moment brad realize where are they going.
"Hey oka, where are we going?"
She looks at him.
"W-we're going to my favorite place to go. I hope, you will like it..."
Brad was questioning what this place is but he figure to keep following her, he has to keep her safe, that's his duty until is finished.
They keep moving as brad asked her some questions on how she met taro.
She seem unsure but said.
"Oh, well... I don't want to say just now."
Brad wonder why she doesn't want to tell him but decided to not push it.
They were now heading to town as more people were showing and cars were passing by them often.
Brad never been into town before so it's an experience for sure. They walk pass multiple shops until brad notice a particular shop, a bakery shop. It was called Odayaka's bakery which reminded him of her, this sadden him a lot as oka turns to him concerned.
"Brad, is everything okay?"
He look at her with sorrow in his eyes as he look back seeing a women standing in front of the counter looking bored but careless. Thus made him more upset, figuring that could be amai's mother, brad was eager to head in but oka said.
"Brad, is there something wrong?"
He stops and look at her, starting to shake the thoughts out as he was quiet, unsure on what to say.
"Uhh... N-nothing. Is. We should keep moving."
She seem worried but figure to let it slide as she wave her hand over her shoulder.
"Come."
She said enough for him to hear as brad briefly look back at the store and follow after her.
While continuing he look around at stores and see that they were simple but necessities. They walk pass a row of stores and a view of the ocean as they keep moving. Bras was wondering how long till they're there.
"Oka, what store are we going?"
"I can't tell yet, but I hope you won't be turn off from it."
This made him unsettled a little as they turned left around the corner and kept moving, she stops and said.
"This is the place."
He look up to see a magical store and antiques. This nearly baffled him as he look at her and notice his unhappy look in which made her sadden.
"Oh, i know you wouldn't like it. This was a bad idea."
Brad realized he shouldn't make her sad, he can't stand seeing girls sad at times, including her who is surprisingly cute."
"No no, I don't like it, i mean...Why here?"
She wasn't looking at him, looking timid.
"Well, I wanted to fully understand your aura. I don't know if you know this, but I kinda work here. As a fortune teller."
This perplexed him slightly but he slowly understands why.
"Well okay, but why exactly? Knowing what my aura is isn't going to help you."
"I know, it just I hadn't met anyone like you so I want to know more. This might be my only chance."
Brad was quiet, thinking about this but figure she has a point.
"Alright, I'll do it."
She brighten up a bit.
"Really? Thank you. Come on."
She quickly head in as brad follow her in. Inside was a lot of interesting things such as senses, candles, gems, other things he doesn't know and status of little gnomes and a dragon.
She walk down an alley as somebody greeted her, she was female as brad walks down and saw who it was. A light skin girl with black hair, blue eyes and was pretty good looking but a bit goth looking.
"Hey oka chan, I thought you were off during the weekdays?"
She had the typical goth girl voice but wasn't too deep.
"I'm here to read his aura, there's something special about him."
"Really?"
She looks at him rather unsure but skeptical.
"You say that to everyone."
"Not this one, I know he's special."
"Really? Have the hots for him?"
This shocked her and surprised brad a bit, oka was blushing and almost frail her arms around.
"No no, we're basically friends. Besides, I'm not looking for anyone right now."
"Ugh, you really need someone in your life, like him."
Oka wants to continue on.
"I-i'm here to check his aura, we'll be in the back."
She lead away from the counter looking neutral.
"Okay, suit yourself."
She bow respectfully and moved on.
"Come brad."
She head to the backroom as brad follow while glancing at the girl who briefly look at him as he goes.
Oka turns right and open a door as she said.
"In here."
Brad follow her inside as he enter and notice the room was pretty dark, lights were dim as he examined the room. It had a round table with two chairs underneath a grey rug. A table behind where oka is sitting and a glass orb in the middle. She moved the orb and she gesture her hand for brad to sit.
"Take a seat please."
Brad was a bit unsure but sit anyways as she seem nervous like always.
"Okay, well let's get started. Brad, c-can you lead me your hand?"
He nod his head.
"Okay."
He put his right hand on the table as she grab his wrist and gently turn it over where his palm is showing. She was about to touch it but stops for a moment.
"I-i'm sorry, are you okay with this?"
She looks concerned but also unsure as brad look at her and try to reassured her.
"Yeah, is fine."
She nod her head and look back at his palm and gently touch his palm and start examining it with her fingers.
She stops and look at it and back to him with a slight worried expression.
"Brad, i'm afraid your future is full of surprises and losses, but..."
She looks back at it which brad was feeling awful about it.
"It has many turns but ups and downs, you have a strong spirit, probably the strongest."
She looks back at him as her sad expression changed lightly. This made Brad a little calmer but not much.
She look away now wondering.
"Brad, I have to hold your hand. And please use your stand."
Brad was confused but shock to hear this.
"What?"
"Just, do what you do with your stand, bring it out."
He nod his head as he summon his stand as she held his hand and close her eyes and remained quiet and concentrate.
He look at her feeling off and uncomfortable as she close her eyes tighter as she let go and gasp which surprise brad.
"Oh my god Brad. Y-your stand aura is immense. It felt almost overwhelming."
He de-summon his stand as he felt unsure how to feel about that.
"Uhh, okay."
She look at the table looking embarrassed and regretful.
"I'm sorry brad, is just that. Me and my club members try to contact any supernatural beings, even try to find the mysteries of akademy high, but couldn't do any of that. But now, knowing you have something unexplainable is... Amazing."
Brad was surprise to hear that, she seem in awe just saying that, like she loved it as brad felt slight uncomfortable.
"Right... Well if that's all you got to do then I must be going..."
She realize how weird she's being and look embarrassed.
"Oh, I see. I'm sorry i-"
"No, is fine. I'm glad your happy with your discovery but... You have to know that ayano is still after you. I will try to protect you and keep her away."
She was quiet, now concerned about her well being.
"I see. Well, how are you going to stop her?"
He thought for a moment and he looked at her.
"I'm not sure yet, but I'll figure it out."
She seem unsure but understands.
"I see, I hope you do."
He nod his head and stood up.
"I gotta go oka, I'll see youbat school tomorrow. Just, get home safe alright?"
She nod her head.
"Yeah, thanks."
She let out a weak smile as brad said his goodbyes and left as he leaves the store the girl in the front counter said.
"Come back again handsome."
Brad slow down and glance over his shoulder and continue forward almost blushing at that.
He soon left the world and felt drain a little. He's just glad is over for now, but doesn't want to deal with this again tomorrow.
This whole duty he's doing is going to drain him of his cool.
He retired by treating himself before resting.
