I looked around and smiled. I couldn't believe that I was here right now. I looked over to see Dexter talking to Johnny and Candice, Becky and Seth were dancing, and everyone was having fun.
"You make a beautiful bride." A voice said and I turned to see Elias. He hugged me and chuckled as I rolled my eyes at him.
"Thanks for walking me down the aisle, and for officially taking over the club." I said and he nodded.
"It won't be the same without you appearing every now and then, but I know this will be amazing for you and Dexter." He said and I smirked.
The wedding was the last hurrah before we left for South Florida. My stuff was in storage, Dexter's house was going to be rented out by Johnny and Candice. Seth and Becky had already moved into mine. We were leaving for our honeymoon tonight and not coming back to St Augustine.
"Come on." A voice said and pulled me out of my thoughts as Dexter took my hand. People cheered as we began to dance to "At Last" by Etta James for our first dance. It was overused but it fit us so well. I was glad to be surrounded by friends and his family. I was glad his mom even got on board with the idea that we were getting married.
"I love you." Dexter said to me and I kissed him.
"I love you more." I said.
We talked to everyone, celebrated, and as it was getting late he took my hand again.
"Are you ready?" He asked me and I sighed. I was and I wasn't.
"Yes." I finally said and he kissed me.
We said good bye to everyone. The photographer got some amazing pictures, and we got into Dexter's car. He took my hand and kissed the back of it as we started to pull away.
"Here's to our new beginnings." He said and I gave a small smile.
"I'm ready." I said and he smile as we headed towards new things together.
