So, here's the second part. Contrary to popular opinion, I'm not actually that great of a fan of Taylor Swift, I know, appalling opinion right. But I did a search for some of her song quotes and found one I really like. But anyway that's enough of me talking, let's get on with the show.

TW: mentioned/ Implied self-harm

As always let me know what you think.

"Go away, Alex; I don't want to talk about it!" This had gone on for the last 15 minutes, Alex trying to convince her little sister to come out of her training room or at least turn the Kryptonite down. But, she had yet to be successful in coxing the young Kryptonian out. Something obviously happened, as it wasn't often that the blonde-haired woman would speed past without saying hello or even acknowledging the other people in the room. Alex could hear her sister's cries through the door, and the image of the alien huddled in the corner across the monitors. There was only one thing for it, she would have to call Lena.

"Miss Luthor, Director Danvers is on the phone," Jess announced, coming through to Lena's office. Lena picked up the phone, knowing it must be important as the elder Danvers was hardly one for a catch-up lunch date. The witch asked what was wrong and how she could be of assistance. "Little Luthor, Kara's locked herself in the training room and refuses to come out or turn the Kryptonite admitters down. I'm not sure what she's got with her, but it looks shiny judging by the CCTV cameras. I'm worried about her, Lena; she's been in there for nearly half an hour now. Do you think maybe you could come and try to at least turn the Kryptonite off?" Of course, Lena agreed and promptly packed up her stuff, grabbed the phone and jacket, and portaled to the Tower.

Alex met her with a warm hug and directed her to the training room. "She doesn't know I called you. Everyone's tried; we're hoping you might have more luck." Lena knelt down by the door, putting her jacket on the floor beside her. She took a long deep breath, trying to calm her heartbeat; if she was right, Kara would be trying to listen to it. "Kara, darling," before the witch could continue, muffled sobs and movement could be heard from the other side. "Lee, is that you? What are you doing here?" The voice was so small, like that of a child cowering behind their parents when introduced to strange relatives. "Is mise, a stór. Your sister was worried about you; we both are. Can I come in, a ghrá?" Lena waited patiently for a reply against the door.

"I don't want others to see, Lee. I can't!" With that, Lena asked the others to leave, and very reluctantly, Alex agreed. She knew the witch would do what was best for Kara and was more than capable of handling anything thrown at her, metaphorically and literally. "It's just you and me now, Kara. I promise you're safe; no one else will hear anything you say to me, and no one will judge you, darling." Kara relaxed upon hearing Lena's voice; she knew Lee would never judge her or break her confidence.

Lena's ears were graced with the sound of Kara's breathing slowing down and matching hers. The Irish lady began to sing, looking at the monitor to tell where the Kryptonian was. "In ainm Lugh lena chlaíomh lonrach, a bhfuil neart aige roimh na déithe agus a sheasann ina measc." She repeated it a couple of times, each time adding to the faeries surrounding Kara to warn off any evil spirits. Finally, she heard the door clip open, leaving a small gap for the witch to crawl through, shutting behind her. She texted Alex to turn off the Kryptonite and took the knife from Kara. Pulling the young Kryptonian into her arms, pressed two fingers against the cut on her wrist and began reciting a healing spell. "In ainm Dagda, Bridget, agus Diancecht. Bhí an chréacht dearg, bhí an gearrtha domhain, agus bhí an fheoil goirt; ach ní bheidh fuil níos mó, agus ní bheidh pian níos mó, 'go dtiocfaidh na Déithe anuas go talamh arís."Soon the cuts vanished, leaving a soft mark that will fade in time.

Lena just held Kara as she cried, not asking why. Then, finally, when her sobs subsided, Lena reached for her face, drawing up to look into her eyes. Just close your eyes; the sun is going down. You'll be alright; no one can hurt you now. Come morning light, you and I be safe and sound. With that, the Kryptonian sank into a deep sleep, surrounded by Lena and her protective faeries.

So that's that. A little bit of angst for you.

The Taylor Swift song was at the end from Safe and Sound from the Hunger Games Album.

As for the Irish in there:
- Is mise, a stór - It's me, sweetheart
- A ghrá - love
- faeries - Gaelige spelling of fairies
- The first song/ spell is an ancient Irish charm against depression roughly translating to "In the name of Lugh with his shining sword, who has strength before the gods and stands among them." With Lugh being the Celtic god of nobility and justice
- The second spell is an ancient Irish healing charm roughly translating to "In the name of Dagda, Bridget, and Diancecht. The wound was red, the cut was deep, and the flesh was sore; but there will be no more blood, and no more pain, 'till the Gods come down to earth again." With Dagda being the god of magic and wisdom, Bridget being the goddess protection and Diancecht being the god of healing
