Mushroom Kingdom

Once the blonde girl was defeated in the fight the image faded away from the orb as it to its neutral glowing blue state. No one spoke as they all watched the fight but now a silence fell over the area with Bowser himself deciding to break that silence.

"Is she who I think she is?" He asked lowly as he already had his suspicions on the teens identity.

Peach for her part shuddered before taking a deep breath then proceeded to nod to confirm. The two brothers meanwhile were still in the dark about the situation but before they could voice their obvious confusion the king of the Koopas spoke again.

"In that case... Return her to me."

"w-What?! No you can't take her. I refuse to allow it." Snapped the Princess defensively.

But Bowser wasn't backing down. "Return or not only will destroy this kingdom. But I will invade the human world with my army and destroy everything in my path until I have her!"

Now both Mario and Luigi frowned at that and were ready to go on the offensive. They both be damned if they letting this over grown fire turtle take on their home turf.

Peach however didn't wanna negotiate with the Koopa but felt as though she was backed into a corner. "What if I allowed you to meet her here with us? Nothing more nothing less."

Bowser considered the offer and replied "I'd perfer to introduce her to the Darklands for one on one talks at least."

"One on one talks in my palace. That's all I'll agree too" Said the Princess not backing down from allowing him to get his hands on the girl.

The large Koopa grumbled to himself for a moment before letting out a deep sigh "Fine."

"You just need to give us time to find her. The human world is a large place." She quickly added

Bowser growled lowly before turn his back to the three humans "My Troopas and I will remain in the airship here until she arrives... Don't test my patience."

With that the king of the Koopas lead his minions back aboard his airship leaving the Princess in peace. At least for the moment. She let out a sigh knowing that now she owed the two plumbers an explanation already feeling their eyes resting on her.

Mario looked at her with concern and worry as he spoke "Princess..."

Peach held up hand in a motion to stop the shorter man from speaking. She stood with her back to him but he could feel that she had her eyes clinched shut as she mentally tried to do with the current problem. "Just... trust me when I say I'll explain everything to you both... later."

She sighed and finally turned to face the brothers "For now I need you both to return to the human world and get Bowsette back here"

"Bowsette?" Questioned Mario as cogs in his head slowly started to turn but halted when his brother spoke.

"But how we gonna find her? She could be anywhere right?"

Peach bit the inside of her cheek as a guilt built up with in her before answering Luigi. "I left her in your parents care... start there."

Both Mario bros eyes widened at that. "Our parents are in on this?"

"Why didn't you tell us about any of this." Both of them questioned the Princess.

"I TOLD YOU I'D EXPLAIN LATER!" She snapped.

The brothers and even Toad stepped back in shock at that. She shook her head in an attempt to calm down and began walking back towards her castle as tears began to swell up in her eyes "Just find her... please."

"Mario. What the hell is going on? Why involve Ma and Pa and not tell us?" Asked the green uniformed plumber to his older brother.

Mario himself wondered the same thing. The brothers had grown close to peach over the years. Hell with the amount of times Mario rescued her from Bowser he thought they had a connection. He never voiced his feelings for her and he always considered himself a bit of a coward for not doing so.

But now... He couldn't help but feel hurt aswell as concerned. Hurt that something as big as involving his family and not telling him about it or trusting him. And concerned due to who exactly is Bowsette and why Peach went to such extremes to keep the girl secret from everyone. Especially Bowser.

"I don't know Lu.. But hopefully mum and dad can give us a bit of insight to what's going on." He said to his brother as they approached the giant warp pipe that'll lead them back to their child hood home.

With a deep breath the fist bumped each other then Mario took the lead jumping into the pipe first. Heading straight to Brooklyn.

Bowsette didn't remember much after the fight. Just blurry thoughts as she zoned out for a bit in the recovery room while Recovery Girl herself worked on her.

She was fully alert when the older woman finished wrapping a bandage along the front of her shell that protected her stomach. She winced at the touch. Although the outer shell was still hard and protective.

The finishing attack from Bakugo sent a shockwave through her shell and gave a hell of a shake up to her stomach and other organs aswell as slightly cracking her ribs. But from her understanding she'll recover quicker and easier then another contestant that ended up needing surgery. She'd had a suspicion of who that could be.

"Well you should be well enough to be able to stand up on the podium dear." Said the Elderly woman.

Bowsette did a double take at that statement and stared at the old nurse with confusion "Stand on the podium?"

Recovery Girl simply nodded not even looking up at the teen "Yes yes. You did tie for third position with Iida from 1A. Although I've been informed had to leave due to family matters so you'll be receiving the bronze medal on the podium by yourself."

The horned blonde wasn't entirely sure what to think. She was so focused on getting the top position she forgotten about the runner up positions also being rewarded for their performance. For the short moment she wondered if getting in that position would affect how the teachers viewed her and if it will help her get into the hero course.

Honestly she wasn't sure. She didn't dwell on the thoughts for very long as a cane in recovery girls hand gave her a poke "Move along now. They're waiting for you under the stadium for the closing ceremony."

"Oh uh right.. How do I get there?" She asked

"I'll lead the way dear. No point giving you confusing directions and making yourself lost from over thinking or lazy memory." Answered the youthful heroine as she opened the door to leave the nurses office.

The general studies student gently got to her feet and moved along to catch up. They walked in silence with only the muffled roars of the crowd above being heard.

They reached the podiums with Recovery girl giving herself a face palm at the sight before her "Oh for god sake!"

Bowsette leaned to the side to peak behind her and felt herself feel quite amused at the sight of Bakugo being chained and gagged in the first place podium thrashing about like a wild animal. Meanwhile Todoroki stood in second position not even taking notice of his classmate.

The Third position podium remained empty and it was clear they were waiting for her to step on it so they three could he elevated up infront of the waiting crowd.

Recoveey nudged the teen girl "Go on."

The blonde simply nodded and climbed on without uttering another word. Although she felt the chains and mouth guard were strong enough to hold the first place winner she still took a slight step away from him just incase something went south.

The ceiling above rumbled and began to part as the three students began to rise up with sounds of the stadium becoming louder and clearer. Bowsette turned away for a moment from the brightness of the sun light showing down upon by soon had adjusted to it.

"Behold your first year champions!"

The exchange student blushed slight and felt nervous as she never really had this much attention on her before outside her family. She gulped and gave a small nervous wave to the crowd and cameras as she ignored the muffled roaring anger from beside her.

"Now to hand out the medals. Please welcome the number one pro Al..."

"I AM HERE!"

The crowd went silent as both All Might and Midnight interrupted each other but quickly brushed it off to continue on with the ceremony. Bowsette was in awe as she looked up at the number one hero.

She knew he was a teacher at UA but had actually seen the man due to him mainly teaching the hero course students. But now here he was in the flesh. An absolute giant of a man that every hero dreams to be like. Herself included.

Blonde haired giant took the bronze medal and approached her. "The girl from America. Congratulations." He slipped the medal over her head and let it hung from her neck as the medal it self rested on her chest.

"You've made the quite the splash today Young Koopa. It's very rare that General Course student to achieve so much in a first year sports festival let alone make to the top three positions."

Bowsette simply nodded nervously at the praise "Th-thank you sir. I really want to be a hero but joining UA through general studies was the easiest way not to burden my family financially."

All Mights smile brightened "It's admirable to care for one's family. I can promise that you and Young Shinso has caught myself and the Staffs attention. I think it's fair to say there might be an opportunity for you both on the way."

Bowsette's eyes widened at that. She wanted to ask questions but couldn't help but become speechless. All Might gave the girl a gentle hug before moving over to hand over the silver medal to Todoroki.

She was tired.

No that doesn't seem quite right...

Oh. She was absolutely fucking exhausted.

Her first sports festival absolutely had her wrecked. She needed a good shower and sleep. She did consider food but she couldn't be bothered to do any actual cooking for herself. In was honestly not craving any form of take out.

She stumbled into her hotel room like apartment and tossed her bag onto the nearby table. She was making her way slowly to the bathroom to begin the shower preparing process. When her phone began vibrating.

She glanced down at her phone to see incoming call from her Grandmother. No doubt her and the family wanted to congratulate the blonde on gaining third position. She clicked answer and prepared herself.

"Hey Grandmama"

"Nipotina! Congratulations sweetheart! The family watched the whole thing and we're so proud of you."

"Thanks Grandmama. I'm glad you're proud. I don't mean to be rude but I'm pretty burnt out from today." The blonde admitted tiredly.

"I know sweetie. I was gonna wait to call you tomorrow but something came up." Said Mia in an apologetic tone.

"Oh yeah what's that?"

Mia turned her phone screen around to reveal a short man with moustache in a red shirt and overalls sitting at the the table with a similar man that was taller wearing green eating Mia's famous meatballs. "Mario and Luigi have come home... And they want to meet you."
