Brooklyn, New York, USA

At the mention of their names Mario turned to see his mother having a video call with the very girl they were looking for. In the short time they were home they learned that Bowsette was given to Poi and Mia by Peach when she was nothing more then a small helpless infant.

Both older Mario family members were surprised when they were told that Mario and Luigi had no knowledge of this arrangement organised by the Princess. Thus adding another layer of questions of what the situation is.

The two brothers didn't go into full detail about why they came home but only just that they needed to find Bowsette. One couldn't imagine their surprise when they were informed that the family sent her to Japan to pursue her dream of being a hero... which the two of them unwillingly inspired her to do.

Mario glanced at the screen in Mia's hand saw the girl have look of shock on her face. He was almost wondering if the call froze or was interrupted but seeing how clear the picture quietly was it was fair to say it was the teen herself that was frozen.

"They're home... And they want to meet me?" She said in almost disbelief.

Mario took that as he his que to stand up and walk over to be by his mothers side and join the call. "Heya Bowsette. Heard you had a big day at the sports festival. Congratulations on your medal." He said trying to come across as a long lost family member.

Although under the circumstances of the situation... he kinda was.

"Uh thank you... Uncle Mario?... is that what I should call you?" She asked unsure.

"Just Mario is fine. So I understand you're in Japan at the moment." He started as slowly as he could to get to the point.

"Yeah that's right. Im trying to get into the hero course." She said enthusiastically.

Mario scratched his chin in thought as he tried to lick his next words carefully. "That's exciting to hear... Listen Bowsette. I know your probably in the middle of studies and things right now but. Luigi and I kinda need you to come home."

Both Poi and Mia's head's snapped quickly towards Mario with widened eyes. Luigi took notice of his parents reaction and gulped nervously as he shrunk back into his seat. Bowsette meanwhile had her look of enthusiasm replaced with look of confusion before settling on a small frown.

"But.. I've only been here a few weeks. I'm just starting to make progress. I'm sure I made a big enough impression on the teachers today for them to consider transferring me over." She explained.

Mario felt guilt ride up in him. This girl had no idea what she's unknowingly involved with. Hell he doesn't even know how she's involved despite his suspicions which he had no proof of except theories. She's just a teenager getting the rhythms of school life away from her home.

And just when she's finally getting settled into her new world. He comes along to pull the out from under her. This added a level of annoyance to his already confusing feelings involving Peach. Why couldn't she come talk to the girl herself?

He let out a sigh. "I can't really explain over the phone but I really need to get a pla..."

Right then Poi pushed Mario out of the way interrupting the call "Hang on sweetheart. Let me just talk to the boys and we'll call you back. Don't book any flights home just yet."

With that the call ended and Mario turned to his father in disbelief "Dad... what the hell?"

Mia turned to Mario with look of disappointment while Poi held a look of sternness as he crossed his arms "You have any idea how hard that girl has worked to get where she is. All the pennies she's saved up to get into the school of her dreams. She refused to let anyone in this family help her with money to get there."

"The only we thing we could give her was emotional support. She worked hard for this dream and you come around to interrupt her efforts for what? How would you like if you had a dream ripped from you like the way you're about to do to her."

The red shirted blue overall wearer frowned and clinched his fists as something with in him snapped at his father "Where the hell was my support dad! When I chased after my dream of running my own plumbing business with Lu you never support me!"

Luigi and Mias eyes widen at Mario but he continued on "Infact you shot me down and accused me of dragging my own brother down!"

"You had a good paying job and you both quit before either you were ready to go out on your own. I'm your father so of course I was gonna worry about my son's failing on a pipe dream!" Snapped Poi

"Yet you gave Bowsette support on her pipe dream." Said Mario quietly yet still loud enough for all to hear. The room was left silent as he grabbed his signature hat off the dining room table and proceeded to storm out of the family apartment slamming the door shut behind him.

Luigi left out a breath he hadn't realised he was holding until his father sighed taking a seat rubbing his forehead. "Why do you two need her home so badly. I think it's important we know that before going forward."

And so the younger Mario bro went on to explain what happened with Bowser arriving in his airship up to his threat of attacking both the mushroom kingdom and the human world if he doesn't meet Bowsette.

Mia gasped as she listened while Poi frowned. "Shit... How much time do we have? Japan isn't exactly a short drive over the bridge."

Luigi shrugged "I'm not sure. But I'm not willing to test out how long he's willing to wait. Too bad there isn't a warp pipe that take us to Japan. That'll save us some time."

Suddenly an idea popped into Luigi's head as he spoke those words. "MAMA MIA!" He shouted as he grabbed his hat and bolted out the door to chase down Mario.

Bowsette was told not to make any plans and just stick with going to school until Mario and Luigi arrived to meet her there. She was still awfully confused about what was going on but was relieved that she could still continue on with attending UA.

It was the following Monday after the sports festival and she was in her uniform preparing to exit her apartment complex when she heard someone say "Koopa?"

She looked up to see a familiar brunette wearing the same school uniform as her looking at her wandering if she was looking at who she thought she was.

The horned blonde recognised the girl as Ochako Uraraka from 1A. The only reason she remembered her name was because she actually gave that asshole Bakugo a hard time during the first fighting round. And she respected that.

"Uraraka right? What are you doing here?" She asked genuinely curious about seeing the hero course student here.

"I rent an apartment here so I can go to school." Answered the zero gravity user as she stepped closer. That was not the answer she was expecting. Out of all the places for her to live she was in the most basic and affordable place that was in reasonable distance to the famous school.

"I'm surprised that I haven't seen you around before. I got an apartment on the third floor." She admitted as the two girls absentmindedly began walking together towards the train station.

"It is surprising I haven't seen you either. I'm on the fourth floor." Replied the brunette hero in training as she slipped into comfortable conversation with the general studies girl.

After arriving at the school gates the two girls went their separate ways to their classes but had agreed to meet again at the end of the day to go to their shared home building.

With the excitement of the sports festival out of the way the general studies students slipped back into their normal routine although some class members did compliment both Bowsette and Shinso on their performance. The day was drawing to an end when the exchange student was called to the principals office.

As far as she knew she hadn't done anything wrong. But her mind wandered at what she could possibly be doing here. Soon though she found herself sitting infront of Principal Nezu himself. His calm voice and neutral smile creeping her out slightly.

"Tea?"

"uh I'm fine thank you sir." She answered

Nezu nodded but still poured himself a cup and sighed in satisfaction as he took a sip. "Now Miss Koopa. I bet you're wondering why I called you in here. Well I have two reasons. The first is to congratulate you on how well you performed in the sports festival and taking the bronze medal."

"Thank you sir... and uh. The second reason?" She asked the small white rodent like creature.

The principal smiled softly "Well the answer to that is that you're the first general studies student to make it into the top three finalists in our school's history. This has caused our school some problems."

Bowsette gulped and instantly became nervous "Problems? What kind?"

Nezu Explained "Well normally after a sports festival hero agency send in request forms to hero course students to a weeks field study giving our students real world experience they can't learn in the classrooms. However this year we have been receiving requests forms for you."

She has requests for her? Heros actually wanted to take her under their wing? She didn't dwell on these exciting thoughts for long as Nezu continued speaking.

"This has myself and the staff naturally asking ourselves what should we do. Normally receiving requests for a general studies student to do hero work would be declined. However there is a high volume of requests that rival the second and first place holders."

Nezu placed down his cup of steaming tea and looked the American girl in the eye. "So Miss Koopa. How serious are you in wanting to become a hero in training here at UA?"

Bowsette steeled herself and focused as she answered seriously "It was my goal to get into the hero course Principal sir. It's why I traveled so far from home."

Nezu clapped his two paws together. "Then it is settled. On your way home pass by class 1A and speak to Mr Aizawa and he will organise a sitting arrangement for you in his class. You'll remain in his class til the start of the work study then when you return you'll spend a period with class 2B. After that we'll determine which class you'll take permanent residency in. Any questions?"

Bowsette blinked and shook her head for a moment and asked "Sir... does.. does that mean I'm in the hero course?"

Nezu never shifted his smile as he held out his paw towards her. "Congratulations Miss Koopa."

Bowestte shook the small principals paw as an overwhelming feeling of excitement filled her very soul. But a thought came to mind that concerned her. "What about Shinso sir?"

"Unfortunately he's path to being a hero is a tougher one but no need to worry. Someone is already taking preparations to take him and his quirk under their wing to heroism." Explained Nezu

Bowsette nodded understanding but quickly regained her excitement as she tried her best not to skip out of the office in joy. Unaware that her tail was wagging so wildly she knocked over the two guest chairs placed infront of the principals desk.

Moon light shined over the darkened city as a figure stood upon a building looking for his next target despite that fact he his supply of blades were still stained with blood of his last victim. His freakishly long tongue extended out of his mouth and swirl around the blade cleaning the red away back to clean cold steel.

"My mission is a long one. But I do it to benefit society. This world will purged of the FAKES!"

Spoke the figure to no one but himself as he sheathed his now clean blade as the night life of Hosu City continued on unaware of the threat amongst.

But that wasn't the only thing people were unaware of.

Deep

Deep

Deep below Hosu's city street with in its sewer lines and underground tunnels sat a green warp pipe completely undiscovered, unknown... and waiting to be used.
