Yukon woke up to the sound of his alarm. "Time to get to class," he said to himself. As he made his way to the classroom, he thought, 'With how complicated this card game has gotten, it's almost not surprising that there's a school built for teaching it.' Just as he was about to enter, he bumped into an Obelisk blue whose hair was done up in dreadlocks. "Sorry, man," Yukon said.
"I WILL CRUSH YOUR BONES INTO DUST!" Yukon flinched before the other student started laughing, "I'm just kidding. No hard feelings."
The silver-haired boy relaxed and extended his hand, "Nice to meet you, I'm Yukon."
The dreadlocked teen shook his hand, "I'm Naturia Guy."
That made Yukon raise an eyebrow, "Naturia Guy?"
"Yeah, the author didn't bother giving me an actual name," the other teen sighed.
"Really?"
"Yeah. You'd better get used to it because I'm not the only one named after their Deck around here."
Once they finished basic strategies, Yukon and Naturia Guy entered the cafeteria.
"Hey, Yukon! Over here!" Connor called out. The silver-haired teen looked to see his friend accompanied by two Ra yellow students. "I met these guys earlier today. This is T.G. Guy and Psychic Guy."
Yukon looked over to Naturia Guy, "Wow, you weren't kidding."
The five boys got their food, but as they were eating, a fly started bothering Connor. "Alright, that's it." He held a card with his index and middle fingers and swiped at the fly. At first, it seemed like nothing happened but then the fly split in half. The rest of the guys were floored.
"Holy crap! How'd you do that?" T.G. Guy asked in shock.
Connor thought about it for a minute before saying, "Natural talent."
Yukon took his eyes off Connor and saw Adam trying to sneak some food off his tray. "Hey!"
The Komodo dragon backed off upon being caught, "Fine, I'll just go steal someone else's food."
"Why don't you just get your own?" Psychic Guy asked.
"I did. They cut me off after my third burger. I've still got a ton of room."
"Uh, ok." 'T.G.' Guy turned to the rest of the gang. "Hey, Psychic Guy and I were gonna have a dare contest once classes let out. Anyone in?"
All the guys raised their hands.
Psychic Guy held up a video camera in front of Connor as Connor spoke, "Hello, my name's Connor and I got dared to knock on this girl's door and say the first thing that comes into my head."
He knocked and after a few seconds, an attractive black-haired girl opened up, "Hello?"
"I love you."
The girl looked at him for a few seconds before grabbing him by the collar and pulling him inside, closing the door behind her.
The other boys stood there, not knowing how to react. "Uhh, should we do something?" Naturia Guy asked.
"Nah, he'll be fine," Adam said. "Let's keep going with this game."
A few minutes of setting up later and Naturia Guy spoke to the camera, "My name's Naturia Guy and I'm gonna stand in place while my friends shoot me with paintballs."
As soon as he said that, everyone opened fire.
After that, it was Yukon's turn.
Yukon smiled nervously at the camera, "I'm Yukon and I've just covered myself in birdseeds on a dare. My friends think it'll make birds swarm all ove-OH GOD!" Birds started swarming all over him, pecking him to get the seeds. "Get 'em off me! Get 'em off me! AAAAAAHHH!"
Adam grinned as he pressed some buttons on his phone, "I'm so putting this online. #Pecking order."
Next was Psychic Guy, who smiled at the camera, "Ok, my friends are gonna throw stuff at me while I try to block them with my psychic powers… and this after I've tried to explain that I'm called 'Psychic Guy' because of my Deck, not because I have any powers."
"Let's throw stuff at him now!" 'Naturia' Guy yelled.
One round of thrown objects later and it was Adam's turn. "Hi everyone. My name's Adam and I'm going to have sex with a human woman."
"Man, that was some super-kinky sex," Adam boasted. Evening had come and the boys had finished their game of Jackass. They were all about to go their separate ways when they heard footsteps. Looking in the direction of the steps, they saw none other than-
"Connor!" Yukon yelled in surprise. The green-haired boy's hair and clothes were disheveled, and he had a far-off look on his face. "What happened? We haven't seen you since that girl pulled you into her dorm, and that was 4 hours ago."
Connor put on a dopey smile, "My world… was rocked."
T.G. Guy deadpanned, "Lucky."
Just as all the guys started splitting up, Psychic Guy called out, "Hey, you guys signing up for the upcoming tournament?"
Yukon didn't actually know what he was talking about but was a little too tired to ask and decided to just humor him, "Yeah."
Heading back to the blue dorm with Naturia Guy, Yukon went to bed.
After waking up, Yukon got ready for the day, went to his classes, and finally, "Hey, Yukon," met up with his friends. Connor and Adam came up to him in the hall. "Dude, I heard you say you were gonna sign up for the new tournament. Want me to show you where the sign-up sheet is?" Connor asked. He and Adam quickly lead our main character to where the sign-up sheet was, with Connor signing his own name on. The silver-haired boy went next.
"Could someone give me a lift?" Adam asked. He attempted to sign on his own but simply wasn't tall enough. "I've got a better idea," Yukon smiled before simply signing Adam's name for him. However, after writing Adam's first name, he paused, "Uh, do you have a last name?"
"Clarkson."
"You have a last name?" Connor was baffled, "I figured your full name would just be 'Adam the Komodo dragon' or something like that."
"Yes, I have a last name. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go bask." As Adam made his way to the roof, he sensed something. Tasting the air, he confirmed someone…unusual was present. Ignoring it, he walked over to his favorite spot and started to relax until he heard someone sneeze. He looked over and saw a kid about 15 years old sitting in the shade.
"Hey, who are you and why do I want to Duel you all of a sudden?" the lizard asked.
"It's part of my curse," the boy answered.
Adam raised a nonexistent eyebrow, "Curse? You have a curse that makes people want to Duel you?"
"Yeah."
"There's more to it, isn't there?"
"There is. Ever since I got this curse, I've won every Duel I've played, and when I do, the loser pulls a gun out of nowhere and kills themselves," the brown-haired boy explained. "That's why I hang out on the roof, so no one can find and challenge me."
The monitor looked perplexed by that last part, "But don't students always come to the rooftop in anime?"
"…Oh, right."
"Who are you anyway?"
"Jerry."
"Whatever. Now Duel me." Adam demanded.
"No," Jerry said before running downstairs. As he exited the building, he noticed a shadow being cast on him. Looking up, he saw Adam descending on him from above, "SURPRISE!" the lizard shouted as he landed on him. As the two grappled, Adam continued issuing his challenge.
"Duel me!"
"No!"
"Duel me!"
"No!"
Jerry shook off the Komodo dragon and kept running. Seeing a good hiding spot near the abandoned dorm, he stopped to catch his breath. "Surprise again." That voice made him slowly turn around to see Adam standing behind him. "How'd you find me?"
Adam flicked his forked tongue, "I just followed your scent. Now, Duel me."
"No, I can't take another person killing himself in front of me!"
"If you don't Duel me, I'm gonna eat you."
Rather than respond, Jerry just resumed running. The Komodo dragon pursued him for a while longer before his lizard stamina gave out, making him collapse right in front of his two friends.
"Hey, Adam," Yukon greeted. "Whoa, you're panting, what've you been doing?" the silver-haired boy asked.
The talking lizard paused and raised a non-existent eyebrow. "Before I answer that, why are you carrying Connor and why is he twitching so much?"
The Obelisk sighed, "I found him watching Battling Seizure Robots."
Adam dragged himself to his feet, "Anyway, there's this cursed guy I wanna Duel."
"Cursed?"
"Yeah, he's got a curse that makes people wanna Duel him and when they lose, they pull a gun out of nowhere and kill themselves."
Yukon raised an eyebrow, "Really? How'd he get a curse like that?"
The talking lizard flicked his tongue and started walking away, "I don't care. I just wanna Duel him."
"W-Wanna come w-with him and s-see how this goes?" Connor managed to ask Yukon. The silver-haired teen shrugged.
After an hour of searching and Connor regaining his motor skills, the trio finally found Jerry back on the roof. "So that's the guy?" Yukon wondered aloud.
"Wow, Adam was totally right. I suddenly wanna Duel him," Connor said.
"Yeah, I'm getting the urge too," agreed Yukon.
"So, are you gonna Duel me now?" Adam asked eagerly.
"No! I told you I'm not Dueling you! Get it through your head!" Jerry shouted
The lizard took out a book, "If you don't Duel me, I'm gonna throw up on Connor's journal," he threatened.
The owner of said journal was flabbergasted, "What the?! When did you get that?!"
"I don't care if you barf on some guy's diary, I'm not Dueling you," Jerry deadpanned.
"Well, I'm gonna do it anyway!" the Komodo dragon proceeded to vomit on Connor's journal.
"Aw, c'mon!" Connor yelled.
The cursed teen took the opportunity to run away again. Once he felt he was far enough away, he stopped to catch his breath. Hearing rustling in the bushes nearby, he turned around to see that Adam had somehow caught up to him and was holding a dollar bill.
"Would you Duel me for a dollar?" he asked.
Jerry groaned, "Someone needs to fit you with an electric collar." He started running again, this time to the dock where the island's ferry would soon depart. For a moment, it seemed he'd escaped his pursuer. His relief turned to shock when he saw Adam already on deck, panting.
"Would you Duel me *pant**pant* on this ferry?"
The brown-haired boy felt a little creeped out by this point but still refused, "I won't Duel you or my name isn't Jerry!"
Getting desperate, Jerry jumped overboard, hoping to lose the lizard underwater. As he swam, he saw an unexpected sight. A small, yellow submarine floating just 11 meters away. Curiosity compelled him to swim near and check it out. A hatch opened in the bottom of the sub, allowing him entry.
Much to his dismay, Adam was the submarine's pilot. "You again!?"
The Komodo dragon grinned, "Were you expecting The Beatles?"
"This doesn't even make sense! How the hell'd you get down here so fast?!"
"Somehow," Adam stated as if that actually explained anything, "So, would you Duel me in this sub?"
"I told you that I'm not gonna Duel you, bub!" With that, Jerry immediately exited the sub the way he came in. Swimming to the shore, he took a second to catch his breath again. Knowing by now that the Komodo dragon wouldn't be far behind, he kept running. Without thinking about it, he made his way back to the roof, where this part of the plot began.
Unfortunately for him, mere minutes later, Adam walked through the door to the roof followed by Connor and Yukon.
The monitor lizard asked, "Would you Duel me on the roof?"
"I won't…" Jerry paused for a moment, "You know what? To hell with this. Fuck you, fuck my curse, and fuck this Dr. Seuss parody we've been playing out!" he shouted, activating the purple blade on his orange Duel Disk.
"Hey!" Connor said as he and Yukon entered the scene, "I've been wondering, if you knew your curse would make people kill themselves, why not just stop Dueling?"
Jerry calmed down a bit, "Fair question. Well, for one, Dueling is my passion, so giving it up would be difficult. Also, did the lizard tell how my curse makes people want to Duel me?"
The Obelisk and Slifer nodded.
"Well, some people have wanted to Duel so bad that they threatened me with violence," Jerry explained.
"Yeahyeahyeah, whatever, can we Duel now?" Adam asked impatiently. Jerry sighed and nodded.
"DUEL!"
Adam LP: 4000
Jerry LP: 4000
"I'm taking the first turn," Jerry said. "I set a monster, then I set three cards. I end my turn."
Adam reared up on his hind legs and drew his card, "Playing defense. Nice. I activate the Field Spell, A Legendary Ocean." Water instantly flooded the whole area. Fortunately, due to being part of a Duel, no one drowned. "This card reduces the Level of Water monsters in my hand and field by one, so I can summon Majioshaleon (Water/Aqua/Effect/ATK: 2000/DEF: 800/LV: 5-4) with sacrificing anything!"
A trippy-looking frog appeared on his field.
"My Field Spell also boosts the attack and defense of all Water monsters by 200 points."
Majioshaleon ATK: 2000-2200/DEF: 800-1000
Jerry raised an eyebrow, "Why'd you explain all that? The effects of A Legendary Ocean are pretty much common knowledge."
"Don't you know that one of the golden rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! is to explain all your moves out loud?" Adam scolded. "Anyway, Majioshaleon, attack that face-down monster!" The monster shot its tongue toward the face-down.
The brown-haired teen held up a hand, "I play all three of my face-downs: Magic Cylinder, Chain Detonation, and Chain Strike. Chain Strike deals you 400 points of damage for each card in this Chain."
A bunch of chains shot out of the ground and ensnared Adam. The chains then heated up, burning him.
Adam LP: 4000-2800
Jerry continued, "Chain Detonation deals you 500 points of damage, then returns to my Deck since it was the second card in the Chain."
The chains holding Adam suddenly exploded.
Adam LP: 2800-2300
"And finally, Magic Cylinder stops your monster's attack and deals you damage equal to its Attack points."
Two cylinders with question marks on them appeared in front Jerry's face-down monster. Majioshaleon's tongue entered one cylinder before shooting out the other and striking Adam.
Adam: 2300-100
Connor and Yukon were stunned. "He brought him down to a hundred Life Points. And it wasn't even his turn," Yukon commented.
The Komodo dragon groaned, "I set a card face-down and end my turn."
Just as Jerry drew his card, Adam made a move," I play my face-down Hand Destruction! Now, we both send two cards from our hands to the GY and draw two cards!"
Examining his new draws, Jerry set both cards in his hand before ending his turn.
Adam drew and immediately played a Spell Card, "I activate Moray of Greed. Now, I shuffle two Water monsters from my hand into my Deck, then I draw three cards." He grinned when he saw his new cards. "Perfect. Now, I activate the continuous Spell, Water Filter!"
A Spell Card popped up on the lizard's field. On it was a picture of a pitcher with, well, a water filter in it.
"I summon Unifrog (Water/Aqua/Effect/ATK: 400-600/DEF: 400-600/LV: 2-1)." The new monster was a horned, purple frog with a white underbelly and warts on its back.
"Next, I activate the Spell Card, Surface, which lets me bring a Level three or lower monster back from the GY in Defense mode as long as it's a Fish, a Sea Serpent, or an Aqua Type. I'll bring out a monster I got rid of with Hand Destruction, Submarine Frog (Water/Aqua/Effect/ATK: 1200-1400/DEF: 600-800/LV: 2-1)!" This time, it was a frog wearing goggles, a surf shirt, shorts, and wielding a spear.
"Alright, now let's try this again. Majioshaleon, attack his face-down monster!" The multicolored frog once again shot its tongue out at Jerry who did nothing. The face-down flipped up, revealing Marshmallon.
"And now you take 1000 points of damage," Jerry stated. Majioshaleon's tongue bounced off Marshmallon and headed back for Adam.
The lizard smirked, "After what happened last turn, I figured that'd be the monster you had face-down, so I was ready. Once per turn, Water Filter's effect lets me send a Water monster from my field to the Grave to reduce effect damage by its original attack points! I choose Submarine Frog!" The scuba diver frog disintegrated into water, which formed a shield to protect Adam. "That's not all! If the attack of the monster I sent away was greater than the damage I would've taken, I gain Life Points equal to the difference!" A cyan aura surrounded him.
Adam LP: 100-300
"Moving on from that," Adam continued. "Majioshaleon can deal piercing damage!" The Komodo dragon's monster flicked its tongue again. This time, however, the tongue darted around Marshmallon and struck Jerry in the stomach.
Jerry LP: 4000-2300
"And I'm still not done! Unifrog's special ability lets it attack you directly!" The purple frog hopped toward the Jerry. The brown-haired boy held out a hand, but Adam cut him off, "Now I activate the Quick-Play Spell, 1up! It lets me reuse a card whose effect can only be used once per turn! So go ahead and do whatever you were gonna do."
Jerry scowled, knowing that with Water Filter active again, his two face-downs wouldn't be enough to finish Adam this turn. Unifrog pounced on him.
Jerry LP: 2300-1700
"Now I'm ending my turn," Adam said.
Before Jerry could draw, Connor called out, "Hey, you said you didn't like people killing themselves when you won. So how come you seem pissed that Adam's making a comeback?"
"I get competitive when I Duel!" Jerry answered as he drew his card. "I activate my first set card, Secret Barrel, so you take 200 points of damage for every card on your field and in your hand. And yes, I know your hand's empty, so it's just 800 for the four cards on your field."
This time it was Yukon who had a spoke up with a question, "Wait, you had Secret Barrel face down? How come you didn't use it the moment Adam started his last turn? You could've won then and there."
"If I'd known was gonna play that Spell of his, then I would've," Jerry explained.
Adam scowled, "Using Water Filter's effect, I send Majioshaleon to the Grave to reduce the damage, and since its attack points were higher than that damage, I gain Life Points equal to the difference."
Majioshaleon melted into water, protecting Adam and restoring his Life Points.
Adam LP: 300-1500
"Alright, now I activate my other face-down, Secret Blast, which inflicts 300 points of damage to you for every card on your field for a total of 900," Jerry continued.
Adam LP: 1500-600
"Next, I activate Card of Demise, letting me draw util I have five cards in my hand," After drawing, he made his next move. "Now I summon Blast Sphere (Dark/Machine/Effect/ATK: 1400/DEF: 1400/LV: 4)," A sphere-shaped monster with claws assembled itself on Jerry's field, "and I'll have it attack your Unifrog!"
The sphere monster advanced on Unifrog though, fortunately, Adam was ready. "I activate the effect of Savior Frog (Water/Aqua/Effect/ATK: 1000-1200/DEF: 1000-1200/LV: 3-2) in my Graveyard! When I'm about to take damage from a battle involving a 'Frog' monster, the damage is negated, and I can Special Summon it!" A beam of blue light shot out from the ground. Out of it rose a green frog wearing robes and sporting a wispy little christstache. Blast Sphere grabbed Unifrog and exploded. Savior Frog held up its hands, stopping the explosion from reaching Adam. "Plus, if the damage was less than 1000, then I gain Life Points equal to the damage I would've taken."
Adam LP: 600-1400
"That is one resourceful jerk," Connor noted.
"He must've sent it to the Grave using Hand Destruction. How convenient," Yukon added.
"Of course it was convenient," Adam bragged. "My policy is to never let Hand Destruction's effect go to waste." His friends sweatdropped at that line. "Also, there's plenty of weak monsters in my Deck, so I have cards like that to protect me." He faced Jerry again. "So, are you ending your turn?"
The cursed teen made his next move, "I set four cards and now I'm ending my turn." Just as Adam drew his card, Jerry made another move, "I activate the Continuous Trap, Curse of Darkness! As long as this card is on the field, anyone who plays a Spell Card takes 1000 damage."
The Komodo dragon frowned and looked at his draw, "I set a card. That's it."
Jerry began his turn, "I summon Self-Destruct Ant (Earth/Insect/Flip/Effect/ATK: 1500/DEF: 1000/LV: 3." A large ant with a bomb for an abdomen burrowed out of the ground and took its place on Jerry's field. "Now, Blast Sphere, attack Savior Frog!"
"I activate my face-down, Froggy Forcefield!" Adam called out. "When you attack a 'Frog' monster of mine, all the monsters you have in attack mode are destroyed!"
An electric barrier appeared around Savior Frog. The barrier shot out bolts at Blast Sphere and Self-Destruct Ant, making them explode.
Jerry grinned, "Too bad for you. When Self-Destruct Ant is destroyed, you take 1000 points of damage." Self-Destruct Ant's explosion directed itself at Adam.
Adam LP: 1400-400
"That ends my turn."
Adam drew his card. This time he just passed.
Jerry began his turn but frowned when he saw his draw, "I set a monster."
When the boy made no further moves, Adam took that as a sign to begin his turn. "Perfect. I summon Uminotaurus (Water/Aqua/Effect/ATK: 1700-1900/DEF: 1000-1200/LV: 4-3)." A humanoid monster with a sea slug for a head splashed its way onto Adam's field. "While it's on the field, Fish, Sea Serpent, and Aqua monsters gain the piercing ability. "First, I switch Savior Frog to attack mode, then I attack with Uminotaurus!"
The human-slug monster charged and swung its staff at Marshmallon only for Jerry to make a move. "I'm ready for the piercing ability this time around! I activate my Trap, Dimension Wall, so you take the damage that I would've taken!"
A portal appeared in front of Marshmallon. Uminotaurus' staff thrust through the portal and came out in front of Adam. "I activate Water Filter's second effect! If I'm about to take battle damage, I can discard a Water monster to reduce the damage by its original attack points!" The Komodo dragon discarded monster, Warrior of Atlantis. Said Warrior then appeared in front of Adam, taking the blow for him. "And like with the first effect, if my monster's attack is higher than the damage, then I gain Life Points equal to the difference."
Adam LP: 400-900
"If you had Warrior of Atlantis in your hand, why didn't you summon it last turn?" asked Connor.
Adam answered the question with another question, "What would I have done with it? It can't do anything against Marshmallon. Anyway, I attack with Savior Frog!" The robed frog slapped Marshmallon, knocking it into Jerry.
Jerry LP: 1700-1000
"Now I'm ending my turn," Adam declared.
At that moment, Naturia Guy, T.G. Guy, and Psychic Guy showed up on the roof. "Oh, good, the Duel's not over yet," T.G. Guy observed.
"How'd you know there was a Duel going on up here?" Connor asked.
"We read the part of the chapter leading up to it," Naturia Guy explained.
The cursed teen began his turn, "I set a card and end my turn." …Before immediately ending it.
Adam looked intently at his drawn card before making his move, "I summon The Water – Hex-Sealed Fusion (Water/Rock/Effect/ATK: 1000-1200/DEF: 1600-1800/LV: 3-2)." Various blue-colored fish pieces appeared on Adam's field before joining together in a big, blue ball of chum.
Jerry smirked, "Another monster just makes this easier. I activate my Trap, Just Desserts. Now you take 500 points of damage for every monster you have out, meaning 1500."
"I activate Water Filter's effect, sending Uminotaurus to the Grave to negate the damage and gain a few Life Points," Adam countered.
Adam LP: 900-1100
The talking lizard continued, "I activate my Hex-Sealed Fusion's effect. I can sacrifice it and another fusion material monster to Fusion Summon a Water monster." The Water – Hex-Sealed Fusion and Savior Frog transformed into blue lights and swirled together. "I fuse my two monsters to summon Sniper Frog (Water/Fusion/Aqua/Effect/ATK: ?/DEF: ?/ LV: 7-6)!" A helicopter flew overhead, allowing an anthropomorphic frog dressed in SWAT gear to drop out onto Adam's field.
"This monster's attack and defense points are equal to the total attack and defense points of the monsters I used to summon it," Adam explained.
Sniper Frog ATK: ?-2000-2200/DEF: ?-2600-2800
The Komodo dragon continued, "With Sniper Frog's effect, once per turn, in exchange for not attacking with it, I can deal you damage equal to half its attack or defense points. Whichever is lower."
Sniper Frog unstrapped a sniper rifle from its back and took aim at Jerry, who just smiled. The shot was fired hitting him in the heart.
Jerry LP: 1000-0
A black aura surrounded the cursed teen before dispersing.
"What was that?" Adam wondered aloud.
"I assume it was my curse being lifted," Jerry said.
"Well, nice to meet ya," Psychic Guy said. "I'm Psychic Guy, and this is T.G. Guy and Naturia Guy."
"I noticed you still had some face-down cards on your field when you lost," Naturia Guy commented. "What were they?"
"They were Minefield Eruption and another copy of Dimension Wall. If I could've drawn Mine Golem on my next turn, I could've destroyed it along with the Golem face down on my field and won," Jerry explained while showing his next draw.
Connor got excited, "Hey, Jerry, we're gonna have another dare contest tomorrow. Wanna join in?"
"Yeah, that'd be great! I haven't done anything social ever since I got my curse," Jerry grinned.
Right as everyone was leaving the roof though, Yukon noticed something glimmering in the distance.
Cards I made up:
Water Filter (Continuous Spell Card)
If you would take effect damage, you can send 1 Water monster from your field to the graveyard. Reduce the damage by the sent monster's original attack points. If the sent monster's attack points were higher than the damage you would have taken, you gain Life points equal to the difference.
If you would take battle damage, you can send 1 Water monster from your hand to the graveyard. Reduce the damage by the sent monster's original attack points. If the sent monster's attack points were higher than the damage you would have taken, you gain Life points equal to the difference.
You can only use each effect of Water Filter once per turn.
Savior Frog
(Water/Aqua/Effect/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000/LV: 3)
When you would take damage from a battle involving a "Frog" monster, negate that that damage and Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. Then, if the damage was less than 1000, gain Life Points equal to the damage you would have taken.
The Water – Hex-Sealed Fusion
(Water/Rock/Effect/ATK: 1000/DEF: 1600/LV: 3)
You can substitute this card for any 1 Fusion Material Monster, but the other Fusion Material Monsters must be correct. You can Tribute Fusion Material Monsters on the field, including this face-up card; Special Summon 1 corresponding Water Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck.
Sniper Frog
(Water/Fusion/Aqua/Effect/ATK: ?/DEF: ?/ LV: 7)
1 "Frog" monster + 1 Water monster
This card's attack and defense points are equal to the combined attack and defense points of its Fusion Materials. Once per turn, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to this card's attack or defense points (whichever is lower). This card cannot attack the turn you use this effect.
