Chapter V.
AZUR LANE DOCKS
TIME:1532 (3:32 PM)
"So, I need your help with something." Said Soobraz, dragging SK-001 across the docks, who'd try and follow. "W-what is it?" 001 asks, confused… "You know Siren tech, I need help breaking into something." Soobraz says. After a few minutes of walking, they arrive at the lab, with Soobraz opening the door and racing in. 001 slowly walked in, looking around the lab, a few on base researchers looking over at her, most confused as to who she was… the others, a bit scared.
"...so… the thing… what is it?" 001 asks, rushing over to Soobraz who'd get to a desk. "This here… this, is what I need help with." Soobraz says, with 001 nodding. On the desk was a chip, the ship killers mark on it aswell. "...so you want me to break into that? …I tried once with 032, and she… kind of went stupid for a few days…" 001 says, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Well, its a risk I'm willing to take, what do we do?" Soobraz asks, leaning onto the table. "I… need a cable to link it to the computer, and two standard issue Samisho headsets. Then, I'll be able to help." 001 says, with Soobraz letting out a confused "Huh?" When the headset was mentioned. "...oh, right, this isnt Amora!" She'd then softly laugh. "Sorry, uh… they aren't so standard issue, are they?" 001 asks, with Soobraz nodding her head. "They aren't… I've never heard of that." Soobraz tells 001, who sighed.
"...I recommend raiding a siren supply ship…" 001 then would hold her hand out, a hologram appearing as several more appear around her. "Okay… so, there is a supply ship convoy headed north of here, two miles… that way." 001 then pointed to her right, looking around at the holograms… the holograms displayed body heat, squad status, ammunition, a map, and a miniature health bar, at about 94%.
"...right." Soobraz says, quietly staring at the holograms, before sighing. "I'll ask the Commander to mobilize the Starter Squad…" She says, walking out with 001 watching, before she would look at the chip. "...It sucks that I can't have one of those with me at all times…" She mumbled, before picking it up and inspecting it. "...this is the same one that keeps me from attacking my sisters… how did they get a completely intact chip?" She asks herself…
COMMANDER'S BUNK
TIME:0145 (1:45)
001 quietly laid in bed, holding a pillow close... due to the lack of cells, she had to share a room with someone... and that was the commander... who's currently on his side, facing away from her... he was mostly thinking of why she was, one, here in the first place... and two, how he ended up in this situation, laying in bed, at midnight, with a siren whose type is known for killing his allies...
The Commander lets out a loud groan, rolling onto his back, staring up at the ceiling "...what the hell am I even doing..." He mumbled, before getting out of bed, and walking to the bathroom adjacent to his room. He'd put his hands on the side of the sink, and leaned on it, staring at himself. "Maybe some water will help..." he says, and would then walk out of the bathroom, and leave his room locking the door behind him, before heading to the kitchen.
As he walked, he softly hummed "The Man Who Sold the World," enjoying the quiet that he finally had... he'd get to the kitchen, and grab a glass, and would fill it with water, before downing it all. He'd put the cup down on the counter, and would look out the window... the dock was visible, and the moonlight reflected off the water. He'd keep staring for now, his eyes shutting a little... until he noticed something unusual... a red glow... he'd open his eyes fully, confused.
Then he noticed the design... it was of siren architecture, he'd quickly rush to the exit... only to stop. "...I should grab my coat, it's cold out there..." he mumbled, before rushing to his room, unlocking the door, and rushing in. He'd grab his white coat, putting his arm through one sleeve and rushing out, letting the door shut on its own. He'd head out of the building, getting his other arm in the other sleeve, and would button up two of the seven buttons on the coat, before sprinting to the docks.
He'd arrive, sliding to a stop as he'd look into the distant night... that was a Siren warship alright... the only question is, what the hell it's doing here... and why isn't it attacking? He'd search his coat. He knew he had stuffed a pair of binoculars in here the other day... he'd pull them out, and would look through them... he can see sirens onboard, supposedly talking, some moving gear around. It was likely it was just a recon team, nothing major... that's what it looks like, at least.
He'd quietly stare at it, with a siren stopping and looking right at him... he'd look right back at her, before tilting his head just slightly... before the siren jumps off the ship, rushing towards him. He'd let out a slightly terrified scream, quiet enough almost no one heard, but... it was decently loud. He'd toss the binoculars to the side, and rushed to the main building. "Shit!" Came from him as he'd rush inside, slamming the door behind him, before beginning to lock it.
Once the door was locked and secure, he'd rush to his office on the third floor. His bedroom was on the first, simply because he requested it to be that way... he'd try to open the door, before slamming his fist onto the door once he realized it was locked... and Belfast was the only girl with a key, and the only other person that knows where they are, is Queen Elizabeth... and there's no way in hell she'd tell him unless their lives depended on it... which... they actually did.
He'd quietly stand there, staring at the door for a couple seconds before grunting and nodding his head. That's his plan, get to Elizabeth, report the situation, secure the keys, sound the base raid alarm, prepare for hell. He'd rush down the hall, his legs beginning to give out under him... his lack of rest was the source of this, but he pushed himself to keep running. He'd get to the Queen's bunk, and fell down right outside the door, letting out a loud grunt.
After a couple seconds, he'd get to his feet, leaning on a wall. "Who's out there?!" Yelled the Queen herself from within her room, before the commander sighs. "What're you doing up so late, Liz?" He asks, with Elizabeth getting up and walking to the door and opening it. Elizabeth was wearing a large shirt, covering everything it needed to and then some... whatever was underneath wasn't visible at all. "I have the exact same question as you... but, you normally come by here for late night battle plans, or for something. What is it? And what'd I say about that name?!" Elizabeth asks, putting her hands on her hips, leaning forward.
"If I were allowed, I'd have you executed for it, as well as the disruption of me ALMOST falling asleep!" Elizabeth says, a somewhat pissed expression on her face, as she'd raise a finger towards him. The Commander chuckled, smiling a bit. "Jeez... look, I need the keys to my Office... know where Belfast keeps them?" He asks, still leaning on the wall. "...why don't you go ask her? I don't have time for this..." Elizabeth says, turning and walking back into her room and slamming the door shut.
"Elizabeth! Come on, you know how hard it is to talk to her?!" He asks, as he'd stop leaning on the wall and stand in front of the door. "Get used to it! And stop gluing those eyes to that chest of hers, you perv!" Elizabeth yelled. "I'm not a perv, there's a siren warship on the horizon, and one is on her way to find us!" He exclaims... the door opens, with Elizabeth standing on the other side. "...just follow me..." Elizabeth mumbled, walking out and heading down the hall.
"You're lucky I had Sheffield on spy duty... she caught Akagi using it to sneak into your office once. You know, the time she caught you two-" "Not the time!" The Commander cuts Elizabeth off, his face turning slightly red. "Heh... good to know that you're still scared of that night." Elizabeth responded, smirking. She'd then grab the bookshelf and try to move it... only for it to not budge. "...I need your help." Elizabeth says, looking up at him.
"Alright, scoot it so you don't get squished like a pancake..." The Commander says, getting on the side Elizabeth wasn't. Elizabeth moved out of the way, standing in front of the case as the Commander pushed it... only to get it to move only three inches. "...god... dammit, I'm too tired..." He mumbled, before resting his head on the book case. "Shikikan... I know you love me... but, what's with all the noise..?" Asks the red lily fox, Akagi, who was poking her head out from her door. She was wearing a red lingerie... which thankfully covered her... even if it left little to the imagination.
"P-Put something on!" The Commander yelled, his face even redder than before with Elizabeth looking at Akagi. "Oh look, its the traitor herself!" Elizabeth exclaimed, crossing her arms. Akagi would then go back into her room to get some more clothing on. "...why do some of you sleep in your underwear again? What happened to night shirts?!" The Commander asks, leaning on a wall again as Akagi walks out. "...it doesn't matter~" She says, smiling a bit as she walks over to him.
"Hey, fox, open your passageway, Commander needs in." Elizabeth says, watching as Akagi stood in front of the Commander as he looked away. "Mmm... give me a minute~" Akagi says, with Elizabeth groaning. "Just get this over with! You can make out with your boyfriend once we win the assault!" Elizabeth yelled, slamming her foot down in anger. "Hm? Someone's coming to hurt my commander?" Akagi asks, her ears standing tall... that caught her attention.
"Yeah, your precious commander and that even precious-er sister of yours are going to die if you don't help him get in that office!" Elizabeth tells Akagi, with Akagi nodding her head, before giggling. "Don't worry Shikikan~ No one will hurt you while I'm around~" Akagi whispered, smirking... he can almost swear her eyes glew a deep crimson. "J-Just get the door open..." The Commander says, his face still red as he kept looking away. Akagi sighs, and would move it with surprising ease. "There we go... now~" Akagi then moves to pin The Commander to the wall... only for him to dip away into the spiral staircase she somehow put in the walls of the base. "...where..?" Akagi quietly stared at where he once stood in confusion, Elizabeth smiling a bit. "...heh... now, if you don't mind me..." Elizabeth walked away to wake up her allies.
The Commander got into the office, slamming into the book case she had set up to hide the exit point of the room... and would fall right onto the case, groaning in pain. He'd take a few seconds on the case, before getting up and heading to his desk, and opening a drawer. He'd taken a deep breath, and slammed his hand onto a red button, as a loud alarm began to go off... the base was now on alert. He'd then sit down in his chair, groaning as he shut his eyes, as his body began forcing him to fall asleep... the last thing he remembers is being picked up by... someone. Whoever it was, he had no idea of knowing, as his eyes were shut and he was passing out by the time he was picked up.
"Come on, we can't waste any time!" Yelled Kaga as the Sakura Empire's ships got ready for combat. "If its a ShipKiller, we know our plan, correct sister?" Takao asks Atago, with Atago nodding her head. "Mhm, I'm aware of it... we just need to hope it's enough this time!" Atago says, grabbing her katana from the stand she kept it on, with Takao pulling a case out from under her bed and taking hers out of it, tying a rope around the sheathe and wrapping it around her waist to keep it by her side.
"You two, speed things up!" Kaga yelled at the two, poking her head in. "We're trying, captain!" Atago tells Kaga, with Kaga grunting and nodding her head as she rushes out. "If I guessed correctly, their signaling they found us..." Kaga whispered to herself, heading to a balcony and leaning on it... a green light was in the sky, a trail of smoke following. "...that confirms my suspicions." Kaga says aloud, before vaulting over the balcony, and landing on the ground two stories down, grunting out loud and landing in a crouched position.
"Don't kill yourself sister..." Akagi says, standing behind Kaga with a somewhat angry look on her face. "Hey, I needed a quick way down!" Kaga says, before Akagi pulls out one of her stars. "You're forgetting we still have these..." Akagi mumbled, with Kaga remembering that, yes, they still have those. "...sorry. Look, we need to get moving, the Sirens know we're here, and this is our HQ, if they destroy it... well, you know how bad that'd be!" Kaga tells Akagi, with Akagi simply giggling. "I will Never let them touch my Shikikan..." She says, smirking.
Kaga quietly stared at Akagi, before sighing and looking away. "If you can keep him within the base, yes, he won't get touched... if he's outside, I'm afraid he might get hit." Kaga says, standing up. "So I recommend you keep your temper on a tight leash... and don't lash out. The last thing I need, is an angry sister with a death wish, just because the commander got knocked around." Kaga tells Akagi, crossing her arms with Akagi sighing. "Come on, dear sister... you know I can't help it~" Akagi says, a smirk on her face.
"Right, right, let's just go. We've got a fight to win." Kaga says, walking away, grabbing a star and tossing it away, vanishing once it was tossed. Akagi giggled softly, and would toss a star as well, vanishing too. Atago and Takao ran out as the two Carrier sisters vanished, with Takao sprinting to the ocean, a hand on the sheath and the other on the Katana's hilt. Atago was running with the blade in its sheath, carrying it in her hand.
"Tell me, what's our master plan here this time?" Asks Admiral Hipper, crossing her arms. "It'll be a shocker~!" Came from Prinz Eugene, leaning onto a balcony. "A shocker?! What's so shocking about rushing into combat with a bunch of explosions?! Its normal around here!" Hipper Yelled, tossing her arms up. Eugene looked over. "I have something special planned for this... hehe... everyone has been figuring out these new fancy tricks... Enterprise with her Vengeance Strike, Bismarck with her Undying Resilience, Akagi with her Passion of Victory... I think I should show off something unique... rSay, remember how we've been figuring out how to use Siren Laser tech?" Eugene asks, with Hipper nodding her head.
"Let's just say... it'll leave a lot of sirens wishing they were never created..." Eugene smirked. "...ominous, tell me, what is it?" Hipper says, eager to know... only for Eugene to lean down and put a finger to her sister's mouth. "You don't get to know just yet~" She says, before standing straight once more. Hipper groans, putting her head back a little. "...is it because I lost my" "Chest with your confidence, yes." Eugene says, saying the same thing Hipper did. "You're a jerk, you know that, right?" Hipper asks, with Eugene nodding her head. "But I do it to tease you~" Eugene tells Hipper her rolls her eyes.
"Girls, cut the chatter." Bismarck says, walking over to the two, fixing her coat. "You know our situation. You know they'll launch a full scale strike on us, not the time to start babbling on about Hippers flat chest." Bismarck says, with Eugene rubbing Hippers head. "...shut it!" Hipper yelled, obviously getting angry about the repeated mention of her non-existent chest. Eugene simply rubbed the girls head, sighing. "Let's drop that..." Eugene says, with Hipper yelling "You better!"
Bismarck simply smiled. "I like the aggression, Hipper... save it for the Sirens." Bismarck tells Hipper, who'd nod her head. "So, battleplan ma'am?" Prinz asks, crossing her arms. "We're on the defense. Ensure the base's survival, and ensure The Commander lives. If he dies, we lose access to quite a few things." Bismarck says, crossing her arms too. "Tell the others. I need to go do something." Bismarck says, walking away...
Enterprise stood on a cliff by the base by herself... She didn't have any plan for this, only that she would not fall... she's never gotten killed, she doesn't understand what it's like... she's only been knocked down to get right back up. "...I will not fail..." Enterprise whispers, tilting her head down. "Miss Enterprise... are you ready?" Asks Belfast, walking over. "Give me a few minutes, Belfast... I'm... thinking." Enterprise says.
"...you mean, your mourning? Yes?" Belfast asks, with Enterprise nodding her head. "...my sisters... they died for me... to make sure I'd live..." Enterprise says, with Belfast resting a hand on Enterprise's shoulder. "It's alright, Enterprise... they knew the consequences." Belfast says, with Enterprise simply grunting in response. "...when they died... it allowed me to unlock a power all of us can achieve... it's... summoned by Anger..." Enterprise says, putting her head back now. "Like that... Super Saiyan thing, I keep hearing the Sakura girls refer to it as?" Belfast asks, confusing Enterprise.
"...super what now?" Enterprise asks, genuinely confused. "A Super Saiyan. A form gained through anger and raw power." Belfast responds, giving a small smile. "It appears we are able to trigger this as well... however, it appears it's triggered through a desire to push on, and not fail where others have." "Right, right... okay... I don't need a lesson on... anime." Enterprise says, with Belfast giggling softly. "You should watch it sometime. It's rather nice... although, it's only good during peacetime..."
"Right, I'll add that to the list of things to do." Enterprise says, Belfast sighing in response. "It continues to get longer..." She says to herself. "Come, we have to prepare for this raid." Belfast says, with Enterprise nodding her head. "Got it..." Enterprise says, squeezing her hand into a fist. "...okay... get angry, fight hard... don't lose." Enterprise says, her hair lifting slightly. "Don't go Evolved here, please... I'd rather have this cliff where it is, and not in the ocean." Belfast says, frowning a little with Enterprise glancing over. "...sorry." She says, as her hair drops back down.
The two ship girls then rushed down to the docks, Enterprise running at full speed with Belfast keeping by her side at the same speed. "We don't know what we're up against." Belfast says... siren ships can be seen approaching the docks, portals opening as more ships appeared. "But they certainly know what they're up against..." Belfast says, coming to a stop and watching the ships approach. Enterprise summons her bow, and fires an arrow, summoning a plane to begin recon.
"So, they have 001 here?" Asks 032, skating across the water to a distant island. "Mhm... and I think I'll show them something I learned!" 042 responds, before laughing out loud, with it sounding a little insane. "Keep a cool head, we only know 001 is here. That means no leveling it until she is clear of the combat zone." 032 tells 042, who simply groans. "Why?! It's boring to keep it intact!" 042 says, with 032 rolling her eyes.
"This is Captain Exulthe (Ex-ual-fee), prepared to engage the main structure." Says a siren Ship Captain. "You know the drill, focus on the Ships, keep that structure intact." 032 replied over the radio. "Understood, we'll fire once we get the green light." Says the Captain, with a grunt coming from 032. 013 was quietly standing atop the bridge of the ship, her dress flapping a little in the ocean breeze as she stared dead ahead. Her left arm had bandages on it, covering where the dress didn't, a faint smudge of blood on it too.
"You're mine, Enterprise." 013 whispered to herself, grabbing a dagger and twirling it as she stood there. A cannon rotates next to her, stopping by her side. "We're ready!" Came from the Captain, as Tester Beta sighs. "Finish them." Beta says, with the siren warships opening fire as the Ship Girls rushed forward, a mix of languages screaming battle cries as the sirens deployed ground units to take them down.
"THIS IS ALL OR NOTHING!" 042 yelled out loud, leading the charge to the Shipgirls as the ships opened fire. Expendable sirens began getting taken out immediately, with artillery barrages landing around them or directly on them. 042 then sprinted right toward Takao, letting out a slight growl as she did. "You're mine, doggo!" she tells Takao, who'd look over and pull her Katana out.
"You're under-estimating me, siren." Takao says, keeping a cool head as Atago pulls hers out too, holding the katana in one hand and the sheathe in another. 042 put her hand out to the side as a Javelin appeared in her hand and she'd rush at the two, before spinning and striking at Takao, who'd parry the attack and would slice where it worked last time: The neck.
042 would grab the blade, letting out a pained groan, staring at the blade. "The same trick won't work twice!" 042 says, before she'd push herself away from Takao and would look at Atago, who'd let out a soft grunt, flipping her katana and getting ready to fight her with mostly one hand on her weapon. Takao would open fire with her cannons, forcing 042 to gain a bit of distance, before she'd slide the javelin into a position behind her back as it stayed there, before pulling out her normal laser minigun and opening fire.
Takao jumped over the initial barrage as 042 would begin to do a wave pattern, swinging it from one side as to strike in a good angle, before swinging it the other direction hoping to hit the two girls. Atago would deflect a laser into the sky, before she'd charge at 042, leaping over a barrage. 042 would then look at Atago and smirked. "Hey, catch!" 042 says, tossing the minigun at Atago, knocking her away.
"Your forgetting the real opponent!" Takao says, with 042 looking back at her and grabbing her Javelin. "Oh I haven't forgotten!" 042 reassured Takao before charging her now, letting out a loud scream. Takao would rush her as well, the blade pointed directly ahead. At the last moment, 042 would duck down, swinging the Javelin at Takao's legs, hitting her with part of the pole part and knocking Takao on her back.
042 would then raise her foot and slam it onto her stomach. "Guess I'll have to put you down if that's all you've got!" 042 says, as she'd then twirl the Javelin, with Takao smirking. "Watch it... your Purifiers showing..." Takao says, with 042 letting out a "Huh?" as she'd look behind her. Atago would smile at 042, before letting out a scream and slashing at 042.
042 ducked under it, getting a few hairs cut off in the process. "...arrogant dog!" 042 yelled, before she'd swing the javelin at her, hitting Atago in the side, knocking her down. Atago dropped the sheathe, but held the Katana itself tight. "If your sister won't die, you will!" 042 yells, before raising the Javelin high, the end she was going to use to ram into Atago's head gained a plasma infused blade.
"No! Don't you dare-!" Takao yells, getting up as she yelled... but she was too late, as 042 slammed it down, ramming it into Atago's skull. "...too late, disgrace." 042 says, before ripping it out of Atago's head, and turning to Takao. Takao quietly stared at her sister, her breathing speeding up as her eyes began to change color. "What's this? Your going Superior?" 042 asks, before giggling. "Dont worry... I'll make you suffer all the same..." 042 says, before stomping on Atago's head, a loud crunch being heard.
"You..." Takao stood up, leaning forward ever so slightly as her eyes flared red, and her hair turning a cherry-esq shade of pink, a breeze picking up as cherry blossoms surrounded her. "I'll make you pay for killing her!" Takao screams, before running at her, scattering the blossoms. "Yes! A real god damn challenge!" 042 says, smirking a little as Takao swung at 042, who'd parried her first strike. Takao's second one brought it right back down, with 042 blocking it. Takao applied pressure, forcing the sword down into the javelin's pole.
042 would push against the blade, before jumping back a couple feet, with Takao rushing at her. "I'll make you pay for everyone you've killed! EVERY SISTER YOU SNUFFED THE LIFE FROM! EVERY HUMAN YOU'VE MURDERED!" Takao yelled at 042, who simply laughed. "Always on about your fellow 'sisters' and those pathetic humans! You shipgirls are simple minded! You don't see the bigger picture!" 042 says, parrying a hit, before swinging at Takao, who'd block it.
"I'LL SHOW YOU A BIGGER PICTURE!" Takao exclaims, before letting out a scream, swinging the hardest she could, only for 042 to parry it once more... but it made her stumble, leaving her open for a counter. Takao would swing, hitting 042 and sending her to the water. 042 simply laughed, smirking. "...you know... I think there's something truly wrong with me! This pain, I dont despise it! I LOVE IT!" 042 says, with Takao staring at her, disgusted... before she'd swing down at her neck.
042 would roll out of the way, tossing the javelin aside. "Hey, how 'bout this? We play even!" 042 says, before she'd grit her teeth, her hair flaring up and turning a blood red, as her eyes glew a somewhat bright white. "This is my TRUE power!" 042 says, an aura surrounding her. "As far as I'm concerned, that sword of yours is useless now! Toss it aside, and use your hands!" 042 tells Takao, who'd roll her eyes. "How about these?!" Takao yelled, and would open fire.
"...I completely forgot about those..." 042 says, her hair returning to normal... "Your form! You're concentrating, it's not anger!" Takao says, realizing 042's flaw with her Superior Siren form. "You..!" 042 yelled, before she'd jump back... only to get hit by the shells and sent flying. She'd land about 10 or so feet away, rolling on the water before she'd begin to get up. Takao launches herself at 042, yelling "This is MY TRUE POWER! YOURS IS ALL LIES!"
042 looked up at Takao, her pupils shrinking as she watched Takao swing down at her... and thus, 042 was decapitated once more, with one clean swing to the neck, taking her head off. Takao quietly stood there, staring at 042's body, before she'd let out an angry scream, and stomped down on 042's head repeatedly, five times to be exact. She'd then jump back, and up. "THIS IS YOUR END! FOREVER!" Takao screams, before she'd begin to swing her katana in the direction of 042's body, arcs of energy flying out of each swing, and exploding on contact with 042.
After a couple seconds, the dust settled... and 042, was gone. Nothing left. Takao quietly stared at where 042 once laid, before grunting and looking away. "Good riddance" She mumbled, before landing on the water, and rushing to aid her sisters in the distance.
ELSEWHERE
013 was quietly moving around the Azur Lane base, keeping to the shadows and trying her best not to leave a trail of bodies behind. "...almost at the main center..." 013 whispered to herself. She had been told earlier to get to the base and eliminate the commander, no matter the cost. 013 would look around the corner, before dashing around it and running to the door... only for her world to slow down as she'd dip back and an arrow sticks into the wall on her right. 013 stopped a few feet away from where she was when the arrow impacted the wall, and looked at where it came from...
There Enterprise stood, a golden gleam in her eyes... and those glowing eyes stared directly at 013, who'd only smirk, standing tall. "Enterprise... what a way to meet..." 013 says, before beginning to move towards Enterprise, who'd prepare another arrow. "Not a step closer!" Enterprise yelled, with 013 stopping in her tracks. "Hm? And why is that? The legendary siren killer afraid of a single maid?" 013 asks, before grabbing the bandage and ripping it off.
Her arm had green dots lining it, all glowing. 013 looked at her arm, letting out a small grunt. "...already taking your toll..." 013 says to herself, with Enterprise firing an arrow at her. 013 would dodge the arrow, gritting her teeth as she quickly side stepped so the arrow missed. "You missed." 013 tells Enterprise who'd fire another arrow, only for 013 to catch it this time, and toss it aside.
Her hand now was a deep red... the arrow must have burned her, seeing as its quite literally all Energy. "I know what you're capable of, Enterprise. Don't make me force you to transform." 013 tells Enterprise who'd simply nod her head. "You want to see Evolved?" Enterprise asks, with 013 nodding her head. "Do show me... I'll judge its combat performance, and kill you afterwards." 013 tells Enterprise.
"Right..." Came from Enterprise, who'd then let out a scream, slamming her foot down and crouching a little. Her hair now turned a nice ocean blue as her eyes glew a little brighter. The once grey aura she had from the first time she transformed turned to a Navy Blue. "This is the might of the Eagle Union. I am but its sword, as I am the sword of humanity." Enterprise says, a smirk appearing on her face.
"...cut the nonsense." 013 says, before raising her arm slightly and snapping her fingers. Her hair turned the same deep crimson as before, her eyes glowing a soft cyan as her knives appeared behind her in a halo. "But, if you are the sword, who is the shield? Or are you both?" 013 asks, floating just a foot above the ground. "A lot of talk for someone of your size, isn't it?" Enterprise asks, with 013 simply letting out an angered growl.
"We're moving to insults about height? Not what I expected." 013 tells Enterprise, whose smirk changed to a smile. "Shouldn't we be fighting, and not talking?" Enterprise asks... before 013 charges at Enterprise, moving at 50 miles an hour. Enterprise let out a sharp inhale as she'd then put her arms up in a cross pattern as 013 would begin punching her, which Enterprise blocked.
013 would then flip herself, kicking Enterprise in the chin and sending her back a couple feet. 013 would land on her feet, before pointing at Enterprise, one foot ahead of the other as her knives flew away from her and went after Enterprise in a sort of line pattern. Enterprise would grab her bow and would crouch, preparing an arrow and firing it instantly. The arrow flew forward, turning to an orb of energy and disintegrating each knife that it ran into.
013 would then grab her pocket watch. "See this? It is how I win." 013 says, before flipping it open... however when she did and time Froze, Enterprise kept moving. 013 would stare at her for a couple seconds, before looking at the watch. "...I guess your form disobeys the laws of time." 013 says, with Enterprise simply nodding her head and dashing towards 013. 013 put the pocket watch in her dress, before grabbing three daggers from her thigh band before vanishing and appearing to Enterprises left and tossing them.
013 would appear at multiple angles around Enterprise as she stopped moving and watched. Each time 013 appeared, she tossed a set of three knives, before vanishing once more. Once 90 daggers had been tossed, 013 would appear where she once stood and would grab her pocket watch, and shut it. Enterprise would then jump up as the knives all flew at where she once stood, before dashing at 013.
013 would rush at Enterprise, and would jump up and kick her across the face, sending Enterprise a few feet to her left, before she'd get up and rub her cheek. "...I felt that one." Enterprise says, before she'd grit her teeth as her hair began to lift up slightly and 013 stood there confused. 'Just need to concentrate enough energy on my weapon, and then I can wipe her off the face of the planet.' Enterprise thought to herself, before slamming her hands together and bringing them apart, her bow appearing between the hands.
Her hair dropped back down as she'd catch her bow and aimed it at 013. 'Not the best I can do, but it'll have to work.' Enterprise thought to herself once more, before firing an arrow at 013 who'd rush at the arrow, before diving over it and rolling on contact with the ground, before rushing to Enterprise and knocking her down... only for Enterprise to catch herself and launch at 013, kicking her in the face and sending her flying.
Enterprise would then jump up to her, dismissing her bow, before ramming into 013 and beginning to punch her at near light speed, with 013 grunting with each punch hitting her. Enterprise would then reel her arm back, before letting out a loud scream and punching 013 in the face, sending her flying into a nearby shed with supplies inside. 013 crashed into the building, landing on a crate filled with ammo.
013 would grit her teeth, letting out a pained wheeze as she'd look at what she had landed on. "...god dammit..." 013 says, before getting up and putting a hand onto her back, seemingly fixing whatever damage had been done. "...okay... playing hard and fast..." 013 whispered to herself, before looking at one of the 105mm shells she had landed on... before grabbing it. "...I think I have a plan..." She says, to herself, before launching through the roof with the round in hand. "You done getting your shit together down there?" Enterprise asks from above, crossing her arms as 013 smirking, looking up at Enterprise.
013 then flew past Enterprise, causing the shipgirl to dodge and watch as 013 flew up. 013 stopped and turned to the girl and the ammo depot with the shell in hand. "Account for distance..." 013 whispers, before adjusting her aim... and slamming her fist into the shell's primer, firing it as the round flies into the ammo depot. The depot explodes, crippling Azur Lane's ammo count... and launching Enterprise towards 013, who'd then launch herself at Enterprise, grabbing her by the waist, and spinning, before tossing her into a lamp post, and flying at her.
Enterprise would stare up at 013, before groaning as she'd begin to get up, her hair flashing between her regular color and her evolved color... only for her to shake her head. "No... not ending like this..." Enterprise says, before rolling her shoulders and launching herself at 013, the two hitting each other and getting into a stand still, pushing into each other as they tried to get the other to slip up and gain the upper hand themselves.
Enterprise then smirked, and would toss her down, and would summon her bow, aiming it at 013. "Doesn't matter now, I just need to end this." Enterprise says, before pulling the arrow and string back, 8 extra arrows appear... before she'd launch them all, all locked onto 013 who was currently free falling towards the base. 013 would flip herself around. "...not good!" 013 says, as her power up turns itself off, making her panic a little as she'd quickly try to force it back on, squeezing her eyes shut.
Enterprise's arrows collide with 013, sending her into the ground and pinning her there, before exploding. Enterprise quietly floated there, smirking a little. "...that's Justice for you..." Enterprise says, staring at where 013 is... the smoke cleared, and she can see... 013 was still alive... but she stood there, as if she was a lifeless body... Enterprise would land a few feet away from her, and would aim the bow at her head... only for 013 to laugh slightly, twitching a little.
"...freak." Enterprise says, before firing the arrow at 013, who'd just barely dodge it, stumbling to the side. "No... Enterprise... I said I would kill you..." 013 says, before leaning forward and looking up at her. "I... will do... as I've said..." 013 tells Enterprise, before stumbling forward, and then laughing softly.
Enterprise would then rush up to her and kick her down... only for 013 to float just above the ground, with Enterprise grabbing her bow again. "Just die already, for fuck sakes!" Enterprise yelled, getting pissed off about her still being alive... then, 013 would giggle softly, followed by laughing. She'd float a little, leaning forward with her head tilted down... a smirk on her face as well...
"...the fuck?" Enterprise asks herself, ready for the fight to continue... and 013 would give her the fight, lunging at Enterprise, tackling her to the ground and proceeding to punch her in the face over and over again. Enterprise grunted with each punch... before 013 would jump up and slam her heel into Enterprise's stomach, causing her to let out a pained cry, before turning her head away and coughing up a little bit of blood.
"...I am no longer that useless fool who called herself 013." Says 013, her eyes turning black. "I am Omega. What you can very well become if you were to let me take control!" 013-Omega yelled, before ripping her heel out of Enterprise's stomach and jumping back. "You see, I am simply what she has become just because she couldn't contain her power anymore! Her body is my domain to help me turn this rock into my personal playground! I would have loved your body of course, with its untapped power... but then again… beggars can not be choosers." Omega says, grinning as she stared Enterprise in the eyes.
"...so what you're telling me, is that you're a virus?" Enterprise says, slowly getting up, and wiping some blood off her shirt, as Omega rolls her eyes. "I take the bodies of my host, and make them one of my own!" Omega says, before grabbing one of 013's arms and tugging on it... before she'd let out an angry scream, her hair turning a jet black color instead of the crimson as her arm is torn off and tossed aside. In its place, a larger and green colored arm grew, before Omega laughed softly and would begin to open and close her hand. "I'll just tear her apart and become my own creation!" Omega says, before dashing at Enterprise and punching her across the face, sending Enterprise flying through a nearby building...
"Oh Enterprise~!" Came from Omega as she walked towards where Enterprise should of ended up. Enterprise growled, her hair flaring up as a sort of fire effect appears in her hair, before launching herself at Omega. "Found you~" Omega says, grabbing Enterprise's fist, stopping the ship in her path. "Let's hear those bones CRACK!" She yelled, squeezing Enterprise's hand as the carrier would scream in pain, before punching her square in the face, and pulling herself away, grabbing her hand and feeling it… and feeling a few broken bones…
"If you just let me control that splendid body, we could be PERFECTION personified! No-one could beat us, and we'd crush all who oppose us!" Omega says, trying to bargain her way into Enterprise's body... only for Enterprise to dash back. "Never! I will never surrender to a siren, live or dead!" Enterprise yells, preparing her bow as a bright light glew from it. "If you're so Perfect... DODGE THIS!" Enterprise yells, firing her bow at Omega... only for the arrow to expand and for energy to launch out of it, a powerful gust coming from it as the beam hits Omega...
When the beam vanished she saw Omega quietly standing there, missing half of her body... Enterprise lines up a shot with Omega, ready to end this... before Omega would look at her exposed inside, before humming... and for her body to begin repairing. Enterprise fires, the arrow landing inside her open wound. "...I never expected that." Omega says, before the arrow explodes as Omega cried out in pain, being ripped in two by the explosion, her halfs falling in different locations.
Enterprise walked over to Omega quietly staring as Omega would try to get up with its remaining arm... only for Omega to look at her. "You..." Omega says, before her body begins repairing again... Enterprise took a deep breath, her hair raising up, ad she'd put her hands out, one on the other, letting out an angry scream, focusing all her energy into her weapon, before ripping her hands away from each other, her bow appearing in her hand... the bow was covered in electricity, cracks all over it as well... she was tempting fate. If this arrow didn't do the job, her rigging would break once more... and that'd leave her back at Hand to Hand combat.
Enterprise aimed at Omega, pulling the string back. "Omega, one question... if you're perfect... what am I?" Enterprise asks, with Omega growling. "A DISGRACE!" Enterprise fires the arrow at Omega, completely destroying what remained of Omega... "...hmph… its done." Enterprise says, before looking down at her bow... and it cracks in two, the pieces falling down to the ground... she'd sigh, and scoop up the pieces, before she'd rush to find The Commander.
"Shh... shh..." came from 001, rubbing the commander's head as he slept against her, his head resting on her chest... Enterprise opens the door, and walks in. "Shh... don't be too loud, I finally got him to sleep..." 001 whispered, with Enterprise quietly staring at her... before walking over. "What's with this?" Enterprise asks, motioning to The Commander, who was asleep on 001.
"Don't worry about it... he wasn't even sleeping earlier... I had trouble sleeping aswell, really... How's the battle going? Are you winning?" 001 asks, with Enterprise sighing. "Yes, we're winning... From what I hear, and did, two of your sisters, Ship Killers, were taken out." Enterprise says, crossing her arms. "It was that maid and... well she looked like Purifier..." Enterprise says, before rubbing the back of her neck. "It might Have been purifier..." Enterprise says, before 001 giggled. "That was 042."
"Right... well, she's dead... I heard Soobraz was working on that uh... neural... thing you have in your brain." Enterprise says, with 001 nodding her head. "Thankfully, she can remotely access it, and wont need to take it out... although from what 032 has tried to research and do, its... not that great to try and remove it... she tried once, and she ended up being rendered unconscious for weeks... and this was during her training phase."
"So this 032 girl is naturally gifted?" Enterprise asks, tilting her head a little as 001 nods her head. "Yes, naturally gifted... its why she was chosen for the Ship Killer program. Although she isn't good at combat, she has a good brain, capable of wrapping her head around something and quickly understanding it... but that Neural Chip in our heads deny her the chance to understand it." 001 tells Enterprise, who nods her head.
"Anything else we can learn on her?" Enterprise asks, with 001 nodding her head. "She's not mass produced. She was originally a citizen of Amora, the capital of our world." "So, she was abducted?" Enterprise asked. "Eh... she... was at least asked about joining... she was unsure of it all, but... she eventually accepted." 001 says, before shrugging. "I was never given a complete look through of her file... as per usual, alot of a Ship Killers data is covered in an ink that only those with high ranks can read, due to special augmentations."
"So, if this Thirty-Two girl is still out there, any ideas as to where?" Enterprise asks, before looking out the window... and pointing at a remote island. "There. That is my best guess... please, if you can spare her, do." 001 says, with Enterprise nodding her head. "I'll give the order to keep her alive if possible." Enterprise says, before walking out. "Thank you, miss Enterprise." 001 says to Enterprise, who turns around and tilts her cap down, before walking out of the room. The Commander groaned, turning a little in his sleep, nuzzling into 001, who simply smiled at this as she'd close her eyes and leaned her head back...
"Get over here!" Takao yelled, putting her hand out towards a siren before pulling it back, the siren letting out a confused scream as she was pulled over. Takao jumped up and would cut her in two with her katana at a diagonal angle, before dashing forward, her katana slightly in the water, leaving a trail behind her. Expedition Class sirens opened fire, with Takao dodging the lasers, with a bit of difficulty as she was getting weaker by the minute.
Takao then ran into a siren, stabbing her in the chest with her sword, before kicking her away. Takao launches up with her cannons, before opening fire from above, shells raining down the sirens below her, causing mass damage in a decently wide range. Takao would keep the barrage up for five more seconds, before she'd yell out "If any of you are alive, prepare to be cut into a million pieces!"
Takao turned herself to the ocean, before dashing down at a fast speed, cutting a siren in two as she'd vanish from sight, before appearing infront of another siren and cutting her in two at the waist, before vanishing again and appearing above a third siren, cutting her in two from the top down. She'd then run towards a last expedition, who'd quickly turn away and begin running, yelling "Wait! Hear me out, don't kill me-!"
Takao didn't listen, lunging forward and swinging at her neck, taking the siren's head off, before rolling upon contact with the ocean and standing once more... distant battles raged on, with Belfast battling several Breaker Class sirens. Belfast would duck under a plasma ball, before punching her across the face and then opening fire at a siren to her left. Belfast would then activate her smoke screen, covering the area she was in, with a thick smoke, blinding all those within it... except for her.
Belfast would then grab a Breaker and tossed her at another Breaker, before opening fire with her cannons. "All out assault, one!" She yelled out as her cannons sped up, before firing in a wave pattern as explosions went off around her. Suddenly, she can hear screams as a siren catches fire and frantically tries to put herself out, dipping into the water. Belfast would move over to her, with the siren then looking up at her, a cannon aiming up at her... before Belfast would grab her by the collar, pulling her up.
Belfast would then toss the Breaker aside, before following after her, a small shockwave coming from her as she moved, blowing the smoke away, giving the sirens a clear view of what was happening. "I hope you are ready." Belfast says, before catching up to the siren and grabbing her by the leg. "What are you doiiinngg?!" Is heard as the siren is tossed once more before Belfast opens fire, blowing the siren the smithereens.
"We lost the commander!" Yelled another breaker. "Shut your trap!" Yelled a different Breaker, before punching the first one. Belfast looked over. "I'm giving you one chance. Leave." Belfast says, before standing tall with her hands in front of her. The two breakers looked at each other, before quickly running away. "...that's a first..." Belfast whispered, watching the two get as much distance from her as they could.
Belfast would then adjust her gauntlets, looking around as she did, keeping her guard up. Enterprise walks over to Belfast. "What have I missed?" Enterprise asks, pulling out a dagger she had grabbed from the ones scattered around the dock. "Not much." Belfast replied, smiling a little. "Why not use your bow? …or did you break it again?" Belfast asks, an angered tone of voice behind her words as she looks over.
"You know me too well." Enterprise says, a small smile on her face, toying with the dagger. "This thing is really light…" Enterprise says, tossing it up and catching it. "Now is not the time for showing off." Belfast says as she finishes adjusting the gauntlets. "Let's go." She says, skating away from Enterprise, who'd follow after.
"Mhm… I see them…" 032 says, quietly watching Enterprise and Belfast through a pair of binoculars, before putting them away. "Okay… remember, one shot at this…" 032 says, summoning her custom made long rifle, a barrel of 25 inches, with the body made of the siren equivalent of carbon fiber. 032 would grab a unique round she had made herself, and would load it in, before racking the bolt, and moving to the edge.
032 would shut her eyes for a moment, before opening them again, taking a deep breath when she shut her eyes. She'd look down the scope of her rifle, her finger moving to the trigger… "Okay… who's first…" She says to herself, before she'd look away from the scope, standing up. "I can't focus…" She mumbled, letting the rifle sit in one hand, hanging it by her side… before grunting and returning to her stance, aiming once more.
"No, no, you got this… 042 was cocky… 013 was stupid… 001 was a fool… I won't end up like them…" 032 says, trying to keep herself calm. Aiming at where the two once were, before quickly looking around. "Where did they go..?" she asks herself, still looking around. A soft cough is then heard from behind. 032 looked behind herself, seeing the two she was watching before… they had found her.
"Lay down the rifle, and walk over." Belfast says, her cannons aimed at her, her fists squeezed shut, ready to fire. Enterprise crossed her arms, staring 032 in the eyes, who'd turn to the two, and kept the rifle at her hip, aiming at the two. "I'm not going down without a fight!" 032 yelled, with the two shipgirls looking at each other. "Are you?" Belfast asks, before beginning to approach…
032 backs up in response, scared of what was to come. "Trust me… if you're as kind as your friend said you'd be, we'll treat you like we treat her." Enterprise says, keeping her arms crossed. "How DO you treat her? That's my question!" 032 says, as she'd quit moving as she felt the ground beneath her get weaker.
"Unlike how you treat your prisoners, we treat them with actual care." Belfast says, before 032 would look at Belfast, and would point the rifle at her, before firing. Belfast froze up, before stumbling back, letting out a pained groan. Enterprise then ran at 032, who'd rack the bolt and pulled the trigger, aiming at Enterprise… only to hear a click. 032 quickly tried racking the bolt again and firing… only to realize, she had only loaded the one round.
Enterprise then tackled 032 off the cliff, with 32 letting out a loud and terrified scream as the two plummeted to the water… Belfast put a hand to the new wound, groaning as she'd look at her hand afterwards. "...that isn't normal…" Belfast says, before taking a deep breath… "Calm yourself…'' Belfast whispered, gritting her teeth. "Belfast!" is heard as Cheshire rushes over, with Belfast looking over at the girl.
"Cheshire? What're you doing here..?" Belfast asks, before grunting. "...forget what I just said…" Belfast says, remembering the ongoing raid in the distance. "C'mon, let's get you to the base… owner won't be happy, you know!" Cheshire says, with Belfast giggling. "Indeed, the Commander won't…" Belfast mumbled, as she's picked up and held onto by Cheshire, who'd begun to move her to the base.
032 and Enterprise were now in CQC combat, with 032 keeping her distance, not really having any melee defense. "Maybe I shouldn't have skipped CQC training!" 032 says aloud, before holding her arms up to block a swing of Enterprise's new dagger. "You shouldn't have." Enterprise tells 032, before grabbing one of 032's arms and pulling her close. 032 quietly stared up at Enterprise, who'd stare right back down at her.
"...H-hi…" 032 says, terror in her voice… before Enterprise would hit her on the head, causing her to black out. "...that was easier than my normal plan…" Enterprise mumbled, before grabbing 032 and putting her on her own shoulder. "Alright, let's hope you can help Soobretz…" Enty says, as the two walked towards the base…
"...Give me a list of deaths." Says Tester Beta, as the computer in front of her lit up. "...expeditions and Breakers we can simply replace… 013 is MIA, 042 is KIA… 001 is AWOL, and 032 is also MIA…" Beta says to herself, grabbing a mug she had by the keyboard and taking a sip, before letting out a disgusted shudder. "...tastes horrible… 18! Get in here and get me a new cup of coffee!" Beta yelled, looking behind herself.
018 walked into the room… her left arm was missing, and one of her eyes was missing too, being filled with nothing but a black void. "...and go tell 100 to fix you, for The Creator's sake, you look worse than when we found Alpha." Beta tells 018, who looks down. "...u-understood, master." Came from 018, as Beta sighs. "...13 is dead… killed by the same ship who previously 'Killed' you… this time, I don't feel like recovering her destroyed body. Your lucky 100 had that spare blood sample on standby!"
018 only nodded her head, and took the mug before walking out… once gone, Beta would turn to the computer, and leaned forward. "...that damn maid… I swear, she'll get herself killed…" She mumbled, shutting her eyes immediately after. "...I'm not their damn mother…" She tells herself, leaning back in her seat afterwards. "...yet it feels like I am, I can't keep giving them these easy ways out… bringing them back from the dead isn't easy…"
This is, BY FAR, the longest chapter I have made, standing at well over 9,500 words... and each chapter just keeps getting longer. Sorry for this one taking so long to be made and then uploaded, I took a week or two long break mid-production...
