Chapter 2: Lightning Finds Out
7:30 AM:
It was a lovely morning as Lightning woke up from his sleep. He noticed that there was a blanket around him and Sarah as she was still sleeping and cuddling very closely to Lightning's body.
Lightning jumped in shock as Sarah finally woke up and noticed that McQueen was looking at her with a confused expression on his face.
Sarah: Oh, good morning Lightning!
Lightning: Hey, umm.. I have something to ask..
Sarah: Yeah? What is it?
Lightning: Why were you cuddling next to me with a blanket wrapped around between the two of us?
Sarah blushed bright red as Lightning raised an eyebrow looking at her.
Sarah: Um… I-I.. uhh… *shakes*
Lightning: Is there a reason why you did that?
Sarah: Uhhh… I don't know!
Lightning got an idea of what Sarah was doing and looked at her with a sly expression.
Lightning: Wait.. I get it.. You like me, don't you?
He said with a smirk on his face, as Sarah was blushing at higher levels.
Sarah: Okay.. fine.. I admit it.. I REALLY LIKE YOU! She said out loud as she was blushing more.
Lightning was surprised as Sarah's wheels were trembling.
Lightning: Heh, that's kinda cute that you think I'm charming.
He chuckles as Sarah was giggling in a flirtatious way.
Sarah: So.. you don't have a problem with me having a crush on you?
She said nervously.
Lightning: Not a problem at all, I think it's pretty cute that you find me attractive..
He said with a smirk on his face.
Sarah: So.. what do you wanna do?
Lightning: How about we get some breakfast? On me!
Sarah: That sounds lovely! Let's go then.
She said as a smile goes across her face.
Lightning and Sarah left the motel as they drove back to Radiator Springs to get something to eat.
