My mother didn't seem to notice the fact that the new hero/ villain person looked exactly like her daughter. To be fair, Ma had just finished her shift so she wasn't quiet focused. Not that I cared, Ma would ground me for life if she learned that I was the new villain/hero of the city.
Ma had fallen asleep soon after she got home so I didn't have to wait forever to leave for the Agreste manor. I pull on a pure black outfit before I open the balcony door I step out into the cold night air, I transform and make my way to the Agreste mansion. A few minutes later I'm standing on the mansions roof using my cane as a guide to find the best way to enter the building.
A window around the back of the building was left open, I jumped into the room landing without a sound, I concentrate feeling for emotions and breathe a sigh of relief no one's here. I walk quickly into the shadows and drop the transformation. Nooroo spirals out of the broach and hovers quietly at my shoulder, I make no move to come out of my hiding place something seems to be holding me here in the shadows like an instinct. Soon after I crouch in the shadows, Cat Noir jumps through the window and detransformed into the model Adrien Agreste.
My heart pounds, "Don't look" I think "don't look."
He doesn't, I let out a soft breath right before he crashes into his bed. A few minutes later he had fallen asleep. Plagg on the other hand was the problem, he was still awake and I could tell he was tired. After he had eaten his cheese his eyes had started to droop and his head lolled to the side a little bit, before he would straighten and then close his eyes again. After a little while the cat kwami had finally fallen asleep, it was almost as if he had waited to fall asleep until after my legs had started to burn with strain. I stood stiffly, and tip toed into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.
"I need an akuma," I whispered to my kwami "but I also need to keep my transformation until after I get the peacock miraculous."
"I think that I could make the broach keep its five wings, for bluff purposes but I don't think I could do anything more than that."
"Thank you, Nooroo that's all I will need."
I turned and was going to make sure the door was completely closed when I noticed a small black shape hovering above the counter.
"You can come out now." I said quietly.
The cat kwami came out of the shadows,
"I was hoping you wouldn't notice me." he complained.
"How much of the conversation did you hear?" I asked.
"Only the last part," Plagg said.
"Okay long story short, I've discovered that Shadowmoth is Gabriel Agreste and I took the Butterfly miraculous from him. I've been trying to get the Peacock from him as well. My only problem is that as of right now Ladybug thinks I'm Shadowmoth. "
Plagg's tail was swishing violently, his eyes were stormy,
"How can I help?"
I quickly came up with a new plan,
"Okay, here's the plan," I whispered, both of the kwamis leaned forward as I explained what we were going to do.
I transformed and jumped onto the mansions roof, before I started pacing and clenched my cane in my hand, I had a butterfly in the top compartment if I ended up needing an akuma. If Cat Noir attacked me then the whole plan would go up in flames, and Shadowmoth could end up getting the Cat miraculous, as well as mine. After a few minutes Cat Noir came up to the roof and he was holding his staff at ready.
"You don't have to be worried; I'm no threat to you." I said trying to not let my fear enter my voice.
Cat Noirs ears twitched, he looked surprised and maybe a little confused.
"Ladybug said you were working for Shadowmoth," Cat said, though his staff dipped.
This gesture gave me a little more courage,
"It was a misunderstanding," I said. "Surely you've seen the footage, in any of those videos, was I attacking Ladybug? Not counting self-defense."
"Well no," he said.
"The only reason Ladybug is after me is because she heard me mention Nooroo." I said to him. "She didn't even give me chance to explain any of it at all."
"That doesn't sound like Ladybug." Cat Noir said suspiciously.
"Well," I said hesitantly. "She wasn't Ladybug when I mentioned Nooroo."
Cat Noir blinked in confusion then he placed the pieces together, "So you figured out Ladybug's secrete identity."
"I also know who Shadowmoth is." I added hesitantly "That's actually the reason I'm here, I need your help. Well actually I need Shadow Noirs help. Do you accept?"
"If it helps bring Shadowmoth down I'm in." Cat said after a moment.
"Okay," I said. "Now onto the tricky part for us to be able to take Shadowmoth down, we need to be able to keep our transformations for longer than five minutes after we use our powers which means that one of your abilities has to slow the timer or get rid of it completely."
Cat nodded.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"I think so,"
"Good." I opened my canes top and held my hand out, the pure white butterfly fluttered softly onto it. I cupped my other hand on top of it and filled the butterfly with black energy. When I lifted my hand the akuma fluttered off of it and started to flap in the direction of Cat Noir. It landed in his staff, and a butterfly mask hovered over his face.
"Shadow Noir, I am the Purple Lady. I need your help to defeat Shadowmoth. Do you accept my offer?"
"Yes," Cat Noir said confidently.
"Along with the power that your miraculous grants," I continued "I am giving you the power to give the kwamis a power boost. I'm also giving you the power to see where amucks and akumas are hidden. I ask for only one thing in return, the defeat of Shadowmoth."
"He will be behind bars by morning." Cat said before he was covered in purple bubbles.
