Trafalgar Law, also known as the "Surgeon of Death", the Captain of the Heart Pirates with a bounty of $440,000,000 placed on his head and the owner of the OP-OP Fruit. He is also one of the youngest members of the Seven Warlords. He was wearing a white hat covered all over in black dots, a black hoodie with their Jolly Roger on the front, and jeans covered in black dots as well. Law's skin was tanned and his hair as well as his goatee were both black. Hadn't this guy ever heard of sleep? Kasey thought to herself as she noticed the dark bags underneath his eyes. Behind him was a sword which looked to be as tall as the man himself, sheathed in all black with white crosses, and a white fur coated handguard. The fur looked soft enough for Kasey to want to go up and touch it but resisted the urge to.

Kasey wouldn't deny the man was handsome, but she wasn't the type of girl to let herself be fooled by a pretty face. Her whole life she's learned that someone possessing a pretty face could just as well possess a cruel heart. Especially if said person was a Pirate.

"So you're telling me the entire reason you two were late coming back to the ship is that you got yourselves lost then instead of finding your way back decided to play a game of poker and lost all your money in the process. Then you two thought it was such a great idea to bring a child back to the ship. Just what in the world were you two idiots thinking?!" Law scolded, standing up with arms crossed over his chest as he looked down at the two. "We should've left this Island an hour ago!"

"We're sorry Captain. We'll never do it again. Please forgive us." Penguin and Shachi apologized in sync as they sat on their knees with their heads bowed to the floor. A depressive aura looming over them.

Kasey laughed at the sight in front of her. But her laughter quickly turned into a frown once what Law said quickly settled in. "Hey. I'm not a child asshole. I'm eighteen and for the record my name's Kasey." She couldn't help that she was shorter than any other girls her age. She had no issues about being short with her height coming in handy sometimes. The real issue she had with her height was that people always assumed she was a child.

Law turned his attention over to the girl. "I don't really care about how old you are or what your name is. All I care about is the reason why you are on my ship."

"I didn't want to come aboard your ship in the first place. I just wanted my questions answered. It's only fair since I won our wager in Black Jack's and since I won it's only right for you to follow through on your word." Kasey huffed, puffing her cheeks out with her arms crossed across her chest.

Law glared at his two subordinates. Why was it always those two causing problems for him? He also made a mental note of never letting Shachi and Penguin play Poker by themselves in case they go around losing any more of their money and making wagers involving him with any strangers in the future. "You lost all your money to a child!"

"We're sorry Captain. We'll never do this again. We promise." Shachi and Penguin wailed standing up with their heads looking down.

"Again. I'm not a child. Now are you gonna answer my questions or not!" Kasey shouted. She just wanted her questions answered so she could go.

"Fine let's just get this over with." Law sighed. The faster they got this done, the faster he could get rid of the girl.

The atmosphere in the room was tense. Law and Kasey sat on the sides of the couch facing one another with a glare. While Shachi and Penguin sat in the middle seats, twiddling their thumbs with their heads down. They had no intention of interfering.

"You wanted to ask me some questions. So you can either ask them or get off my ship. I have things to do." Law snapped. Using Observation Haki he could sense the girl was not one to be underestimated.

"Have you ever heard of asking people nicely? I just wanted to know what your future plans were." Kasey snapped back.

"What I'm planning." Law repeated with pursed lips. "What I'm planning? My plans have nothing to do with you. I don't even know you for that matter."

"As if I'd believe the word from one of the government's bitches." She spat, crossing her arms across her chest as she leaned further back into the couch.

"W-what did you just call me?" Law gritted his teeth as he fought the urge to kill the girl right then and there.

Shachi and Penguin's jaws dropped in shock over what the girl said. Did she not know who she was talking to?

"You heard me. I called you one of the government's bitches. To me, you're nothing but a dog willing to do whatever the government tells you to do."

Law's lips twitched up into a sadistic-looking smile as his hand began to reach over to grab his sword. As soon as Law's hand touched the hilt of his sword, a woman with long curly dark brown hair barged into the room with a look of panic written all over her face.

"Captain, sorry to barge in but a Marine Admiral was just spotted on Sabaody. What should we do?"

Law stood up. "Have they spotted us yet?"

The girl shook her head. "Not that I'm aware of, Captain."

"Okay. Tell everyone to start the submergence process. We're getting off this Island." Law commanded.

"Yes Captain." All three of the crewmates shouted as they ran out of the room.

Kasey's eyes widened. Submergence, doesn't that mean they're going under the water? Crap she had to get out of here and fast. She did not want to stay any longer on this submarine with these Pirates. The idea of also being under water didn't sit well with her either. She quickly ran to the door but the moment she got close to the door she suddenly was at the back wall. One of the beanbags landed where she was prior to the switch.

Her eyes met Law's which were set in a glare. "You're staying here. I don't need you to go around and mess everything up." He quickly shut the door behind him leaving Kasey trapped all alone inside the room. "I'll get someone to let you out later."

"Trafalgar!" She screamed as she ran to the door, jostling the handle and when that didn't work, she started to pound on it with her fists. "Get back here and open this door you asshole!", but Law ignored her screams and just kept walking. He'd just get Shachi and Penguin to deal with the girl later. It was their fault the girl was here after all. So therefore she would be their responsibility for the time being until he figured out what to do with her.

Kasey growled softly to herself as her eyes opened for the umpteenth time. She was on a bed lying on her back as she stared up at the ceiling above her. She was trapped inside that room for at least an hour before Shachi and Penguin had let her out. Then the two had the nerve to apologize for their Captain's behavior. That bastard wasn't sorry one bit. He'd probably enjoyed having her trapped inside the room with no way of getting out. After the two finished apologizing they showed her around the submarine. At least they gave her something to eat. She deemed it safe enough to eat as she had watched them closely as they made it. This soon led to her current predicament.

She was currently rooming with the girl she saw earlier who had introduced herself as Ikkaku. It wasn't like she had any problems with Ikkaku; she seemed friendly enough so far. The problem was that they were friendly. Pirates weren't supposed to be friendly and they weren't supposed to go around apologizing, they were supposed to be mean and cruel and murderers. It also didn't help that she was technically their hostage for the time being. A hostage who had free reign aboard the entire ship. Who heard of such a ridiculous thing? Most people would have been grateful for their Pirate kidnappers to be friendly but Kasey wasn't like most people. She had witnessed first hand at an early age what Pirates were truly capable of and damage they caused without a care in the world.

This soon led to another question of why such a friendly crew would join a sadistic Captain? The man had sent the Marine's a total of a hundred beating hearts from other Pirates in order to get a position as a Warlord for God's sake. Don't get her wrong she was known to be quite sadistic herself but the fact was that she was trapped inside a ship belonging to a merciless Captain and his friendly crew. It made absolutely no sense unless the crew was pretending to be friendly.

Getting tired of her failed attempts at falling asleep, she sat up and put her light blue sneakers back on and quietly left the room. Since she couldn't sleep she might as well see what the Captain was doing.

Law was sitting at his desk in his room looking over previous newspapers in hopes of finding anything mentioning anyone with the name Kasey. He could sense the girl was no mere civilian cause what civilian would seek out a Pirate crew to ask them a single question. Especially one about their future plans. Any average person would be too afraid to be around a Pirate let alone aboard a Pirate's ship. But she wasn't afraid or she was good at not letting it show. So she either had to be a Pirate, a Marine, or a Revolutionary. He just had to figure out which one she belonged to. If only it were that easy.

"If you're looking for information about me in the newspapers, you won't find anything regarding the name Kasey or a picture of my face either."

Law jumped up and looked down to see Kasey standing right beside him trying to look at the papers on his desk. Why couldn't he sense her presence? It was like the girl appeared out of thin air. Yep, definitely not an average civilian.

"Shouldn't you be in bed?" He asked while quickly putting the newspapers away before Kasey could see what he was reading. "And who gave you permission to come inside my room?"

"I should be asking you the same thing, Mister I-don't-look-like-I-slept-in-a-week."

"I asked you a question. What are you doing here?" Law repeated, ignoring her last remark as he turned to face the girl, looking her right in the eyes.

"I couldn't sleep and Shachi and Penguin did say I had free reign inside the ship. Since this room is inside the ship, I thought it would be included in that too. Guess I was wrong." Kasey shrugged her shoulders, walking away from him. "It's only fair. Since you technically kidnapped me. Or did you forget? I didn't sign up for this, you know."

"I didn't have much of a choice. If you haven't noticed I'm trying not to attract unnecessary attention to myself - What do you think you're doing?"

While he was talking, Kasey had crawled onto his bed and curled up underneath the covers. "Don't worry I took my shoes off."

Law stood up and walked towards the bed. "That's not the issue and you know it. Now get out of my room."

Instead of doing what Law told her to do, Kasey closed her eyes, falling asleep. Law sighed, deciding he was too tired to deal with this and crawled onto the other side of the bed. He just hoped the girl didn't snore.
