Kuoh Town

Rias was biting her nail in nervousness as she was trying to come to her senses as she stood outside of the Hyoudou residence while thinking if she made the right choice due to Naho and Issei telling her that her sister-in-law asked Naho for a favor to assist Rias and her team in training.

Rias was surprised her sister and brother knew of the Nahobino clan while pondering how she was supposed to be able to defeat Riser in that other world. She had heard of the Nahobino clan's power but was frightened by the idea of what they would do.

"Worried, Rias?" Akeno asked as Rias turned to see her Queen walking towards her before the Gremory Heiress sighed in relief at seeing her closest friend at the Hyoudou house.

"Yes. I've heard of the Nahobino Clan wielding incredible power, but I'm worried about what we'll be doing and what we'll be facing in the other world." Rias said in nervousness as she had heard of such terrifying creatures in the Nahobino Clans world and how even Sirzechs feared many animals and demons.

Akeno saw this and gently hugged her friend before reassuring her they would be fine. 'Hopefully, with Issei there, the training may be lighter for us since he knows what it's like to be in that world.' Akeno said as she of the terrifying power that Issei wielded but kept it under wraps due to him not wanting to draw attention to himself.

Kiba and Tomoe appeared as Sona offered some pieces to Rias to assist her in the first Rating Game. Granted that Rias didn't want to take the offer, Sona insisted that she could use all the help she could get to take on Riser's peerage and survive the hellish world they're about to enter, mainly for the latter reason.

Tomoe volunteered as she was interested in the other world's demons and how she could improve her skills as a swordsman and clash with the strongest demons in the different world, so she became even stronger to serve the Sitri Peerage.

Next came Koneko and Tsubasa, as the two were loyal to their respective kings, but Tsubasa also saw Issei's power kept under wraps as well as Naho's and wanted to see if she could achieve that same level of power that they did. Koneko pondered that if she went to that other world, she could complete the power she's been struggling with for a long time.

Finally, Tsubaki, who volunteered to take the Pawn's role in the Gremory peerage, surprised Rias until Tsubaki wished to go there for two reasons. To become stronger to better aid herself and her King but also for another reason which she didn't tell Rias for personal reasons.

Tsubaki greeted the others as she stared at the house her sister lived in with Issei Hyoudou, a fact that still surprised her while recalling her conversation with Sona last night.

Flashback: Yesterday Evening...

"What's your reason for wanton to assist Rias, Tsubaki?" Sona asked as she knew the others were gone so she could figure out her Queens reasons for volunteering to assist Rias's peerage.

Tsubaki was nervous since she knew her King could see right through the white lie she told her before deciding to rip the bandage off and explain her reason.

"I...I wanted to train with my sister and hopefully help her recall her memories." Tsubaki said as Sona raised a brow at this, knowing that Shinra's older sister had died long ago.

"And your sure that Naho, the last of the Nahobino Clan, is your sister? Do you have any proof, or are you guessing with your heart? I'm only asking because I don't want you hurt." Sona said as she knew losing her older sister hurt Tsubaki a lot that she wished to reunite with her one day due to their connection feeling she was alive.

"I'm sure of it. The way she responded to the last name Tsuki. Naho is because she is a Nahobino, but Tsuki was my older sister's name when she was alive." Tsubaki said as she also pulled out a picture of Naho and Tsuki Shinra and explained her theory.

"Their personalities are identical, the same eye color and the way they did their hair. Also, my sister's weapon is still reacting to Naho, which must mean it's my sister!" Tsubaki explained as she summoned her primary weapon and showed it to Sona.

Sona saw the blade react to Naho's aura and was surprised by this since only the Shinra family could wield the Nagitana. Sona looked at her sister and sighed before responding.

"Okay, fine. You may go with Rias and be her Pawn for the game and training."

"Thank you-!"

"But! Under one condition." Sona said as she looked at her Queen, she handed Tsubaki a slip of paper. "Give this note to Issei and tell him your thoughts on Naho. It's only fair that he knows your true intentions for going on the training trip."

Tsubaki nodded and thanked her King as she took the paper and rushed out of the office to prepare for her training and reunite with her sister she had lost ever since she was ten years old.

End Flashback

The group heads into the Hyoudou house to see Issei waiting for them on the front porch.

"Ah. I wondered what would take you so long to get here." Issei said as he got up before walking over to them. "I've heard from Naho about your situation Gremory but don't think we're doing this because we want to. This is because your brother doesn't want you to lose to this Riser guy."

Rias felt hurt by this but could tell that while Issei didn't forget what happened, he did forgive her, so hopefully, she could help and repair the damage that's been done.

The group followed Issei to the backyard, where Artemis and Naho opened a gate to the other world. Issei then turned around and explained what'll happen next.

"Once you step through this portal, you'll be in the other world but know that the demons within this world are nothing like what you've faced here in this world. The other world has demons that would make the Stray Devils you've fought seem like cannon fodder. That is why when in that world, you'll follow these rules so you don't get killed because you're either too stupid or arrogant to think your 'invincible.'" Issei said as he could tell that all of them could take on a Low-Class Demon if they worked together, but they didn't stand a chance by themselves.

This shocked Rias and the others before Naho took over the conversation.

"What he said is correct. Stay close to us, and you'll be fine, but if you wander off, a Demon will surely attack you, you'll not know of. That's why you'll be training with us until we say you're ready." Naho said as Tsubaki and co. nodded as Artemis walked through the portal first, as the rest soon followed as Naho and Issei took the rear.

Naho closed the portal, but not before eyeing the area as if trying to detect any enemies.

"Mm. I haven't sensed Chiaki ever since we came back. Could Mephisto have been wrong about his warning?" Naho said as she still closed the portal, leaving the house empty but protected thanks to a few barrier spells that were set in place.

Chiaki smiled as she looked at the portal closing from her home before sending a message to her father.

"It's been done. Naho and the others have taken the Devils to our world. Shall we give them a proper welcome, Father?" Chiaki asked as Lucifer smiled on his end.

"Oh yes. I'm sure the Devils will love our new generals very well." Lucifer said as he chuckled in amusement as he would enjoy the entertainment that would happen sooner rather than later.

Minato Ward: Nagatacho Leyline

The portal opened as Issei and Co. entered the other world, much to the shock of the Devils as they looked to see that the world was very much like their world but different.

"Best you follow us. Demons can appear out of nowhere." Issei said as the trio began to walk through the city, making the demons follow them until they reached a campground near a large lake.

As the trio got closer to the area, a horn was blown, shocking the Devils until many demons appeared to greet Issei, Naho, and Artemis.

"Hyoudou-sama! You've returned!"

"Lady Naho! We're honored to see that you and the DemiFiend are safe."

"I'm glad to see you've returned, Lady Artemis."

The trio smiled as they spoke to the many demons around them while Rias and the others were in awe of the demons, acting like they were a massive family than a military force.

Toro intimidated Rias and Co by walking up to them and growled until Issei stopped him.

"Stand down. The Devils of my world are...guests. They are not to be harmed, but they will be undergoing training for the next ten days in the other world's time." Issei explained as Oni grumbled but nodded as he walked away from the Devils before Artemis pointed to an abandoned hotel.

"The hotel is where you'll sleep and stay for the training. Know that time works differently here since a day is an hour back home, meaning it'll be a long time until it's been ten days back in your world." Artemis explained as she took the Devils into the hotel to get some rest for the night until the next day before Lilitifa brought Issei over to the fire where Joro and Pazuzu were chatting until Issei saw that a certain Angel was near them.

"Hyoudou-sama. We're grateful for your return, but I bring terrible news. A powerful demon attacked us." Angel said as Issei sat next to Lilitifa and nodded.

"Explain."

Angel then explained that while they were doing a perimeter check of their base, a demon called Nuwa had attacked them for the past few days. They were able to drive her away, but she took residence in the Tokyo Diet Building and has been making sure that no other demon entered the area.

"And you're saying Nuwa's character has been causing trouble? Is she associated with Lucifer?" Issei asked before Joro shook his head.

"No. According to Nuwa, she also seems to be furious about Lucifer but said that we mustn't disturb the tomb of her deceased lover." Toro said as Issei was surprised by this revelation, as if he recalled something before nodding in response.

"I know who this Nuwa is, but I want to see her first," Issei said as he stood up before Lilitifa stopped him.

"Issei-sama!" Lilitifa said as she leaped off Toro and into his arms. "Please, at least allow some of us to assist you. It wouldn't hurt to have some backup in case she tries to attack you."

Issei pondered this before nodding and thanking Lilitifa. "Understood. I want you to come with me then." Issei said as Lilitifa was excited to show her new skills to her friend and lover.

Naho saw this as she walked over to Issei and pondered what was happening until Issei explained what he had told her.

"Wait! Do you think this Goddess may be like Apsaras? I recall a Nahobino being in love with a demonic Goddess, but if this is one of them."

"Then they wish to rest in peace with their loved ones," Issei said as Naho nodded in agreement before hugging Issei and telling him to be safe.

Issei nodded in agreement before he called over both Aitvaras and Jack-o'-Lantern. He and Lilitifa then headed towards the Tokyo Diet Building as the DemiFiend could feel the power radiating from within the building.

"Stay close," Issei said as Lilitifa nodded as she hid behind Issei while Aitvaras floated beside him. Jack-o'-Lantern then opened the door, and the group headed inside to see a massive amount of Magatama's power in the area; they heard sobbing in the darkness as Issei walked forward to see a hat held in the hands of a woman.

The woman stopped crying as she sensed Issei and his group emerge from the shadows before hissing at them.

"How dare you enter my husbands' tomb! Who are you? And why have you come here?" Nuwa hissed as she was ready to strike them until Issei held a hand up to stop her. As he then reached into a portal and pulled out an incense.

"I come with a peace offering," Issei said as he walked towards Nuwa and placed the incense before her. The Goddess sniffed the scent before taking it and placing it on the tomb. The woman gasped, but a smile was on her face as she dried her tears off until looking back at Issei before standing aside as the DemiFiend and Lilitifa prayed and wished for the soul to rest in peace.

"Thank you for this. My husband's spirit feels at peace." Nuwa said as she smiled and spoke to them. "Now, I believe you're here to speak to me about joining your little group?"

Issei just looked at her before shaking his head. "No. I only wish to ask about your relationship with him. He was a Nahobino, correct?"

"Indeed. The two of us were in a special relationship, similar to that one Nahobino who was in love with Apsaras." Nuwa said as she explained that her lover, Shohei Yakumo, and she had worked together ever since he was young to fulfill his worldview of a world devoid of demonic influences.

The two shared their Knowledge, making them qualify to fuse as Nahobino. She even says Yakumo was her "other half," and they were inseparable. Amanozako theorized that Nuwa was in love with Yakumo but could never pinpoint whether it was because she loved him specifically or if she loved all of humanity. He was just a symbol of it, as the subject of love was complicated. But it's ultimately confirmed that Shohei's feelings for her are returned.

In terms of their ideologies, the two had initially strived for a world where gods and demons do not exist, shaping a world for humanity only. That would even be their goal with the throne, but that would mean Nuwa would disappear, so the two never pursued that option in the name of their love. Instead, they would rely on a substitute, where they'll eradicate the throne, ridding creation via godhood and intrusting humanity to create their fate in the chaos.

She and Yakumo opposed Bethel, believing neither angels nor demons have a place in human affairs. Nuwa referred to their supporters as "zealots" but condemned the side of chaos, finding them to be "opportunistic cretins" for the most part. As such, they opposed godhood as a whole and were determined to destroy the throne, in opposition to the rest of the ideals that present a variant of how godhood will govern.

"Unfortunately, in the final battle, we could not defeat Lucifer's forces, and my husband was killed," Nuwa said as she gently fiddled with the hat before placing it on her head. "Ever since then, I've made this building his tomb so that I would keep his body safe from any demons who would dare try to steal it for their desires."

Nuwa then looked back at the tomb and sighed as she held a hand over her heart. "However, after all these years, my life is fading away. Soon I'll no longer exist, so I have a favor to ask of you, Issei Hyoudou."

Nuwa then became her snake form as she hissed at them.

"Face me in my final battle, and do not hold back. Kill me and allow my sorrow to end so I can be with my husband in death." Nuwa said as Issei looked at Lilitifa before she nodded in response. Issei then summoned his blade before nodding.

"Very well then, Nuwa. Prepare to fall." Issei said as he charged at the snake woman. As she smiled as she was going to enjoy this battle.

"Mazio!" Nuwa shouted as she fired lighting at all of her foes, but strangely all the lighting was directed at Lilitifa as she smirked at Nuwa.

"I've been building a strong resistance to lighting spells, so fire all you want!" Lilitifa said as she fired Energy Drain at Nuwa, who could feel her magic and life draining from her with each passing second.

"Then try this!" Nuwa shouted as she fired more lightning at Lilitifa, which seemed a lot stronger than before, which scared her until Issei got her out of the way before the duo landed on the ground with Nuwa trying to strike Aitvaras and Jack-o'-Lantern, who were bombarding her with deadly fire attacks.

"That was close. You okay?" Issei asked as Lilitifa nodded.

"I'm fine. Thanks to the Spyglass item I found while you were gone, I could see her weakness. Fire is her weakness, so turn up the heat. I'll try to prevent her from hitting you with her lightning spells." Lilitifa said as Issei nodded in reply.

"Okay then. Stay hidden but give it all you got." Issei said as Lilitifa smiled and nodded in response as the DemiFiend approached the snake woman and did a few hand signs before shouting his spells.

"Level Three: TaRaSu!" Issei shouted as the spell took effect Nuwa felt weaker until she felt the fire spells hit her before seeing Issei rush towards her.

"Try this. Flame DracoStrike!" Issei shouted as he sent a massive fire dragon at the snake woman, who yelled in pain as she felt the burns appear on her body before feeling something strike her face. As she turned to see, the small Drake hit her.

"Yeah! Take that, you scaly woman! Woah!" Aitvaras said as he dodged the snake woman's attacks before Issei released a barrage of TaRaSu, weakening the woman even more, until Nuwa growled at them.

"Alright then. Try to dodge this one!" Nuwa shouted as she used her magic to summon magic clay dolls before sending them toward the four demons. Issei was unfazed by the explosion, as were the two fliers, while Lilitifa barely dodged the blast range of the dolls near her until she could grab hold of Nuwa's snake tail and began to absorb more magic from the demon.

"L-Let me...go!" Nuwa said as she sluggishly tried to grab Lilitifa, but feeling her magic and life drain from her body weakened her even further as she collapsed on the ground.

Lilitifa stopped her assault and went back to Issei as he held up a left hand and generated an orb of colorless magic in his hand.

"Rest in peace, Goddess Nuwa," Issei said as he continued to pour more magic into the spell Nuwa looked at the power before her as she smiled and closed her eyes in contentment.

"Thank you Issei Hyoudou." Nuwa whispered as Issei released the spell.

"Megidola." Issei then sent the attack toward her as the spell enveloped her being before she was back in her human form, smiling at them.

"Thank you for ending my sorrow," Nuwa said as she saw her body become energy as she closed her eyes and lay on the ground. "Maybe in my next life, I can see my beloved again and marry him so we can have a young one. Wouldn't that be nice?"

Nuwa asked herself as the others watched her body vanish. Issei felt the power of Nuwa enter his heart, as he could feel the emotions that Nuwa felt all this time after she lost her beloved. This is why Issei felt something on his face he hasn't felt since becoming a DemiFiend.

Empathy.

"I hope you find peace and happiness in your next life Nuwa. You deserve it." Issei mumbled as he could feel something change inside him as he felt compelled to summon something.

A small clay doll appeared before them, similar to the ones Nuwa made during the battle.

Issei let a nostalgic look appear on his face as he thanked Nuwa for the gift. As he and his team then left the Tokyo Diet Building.

While Lucifer was observing the events that took place.

"Such a shame that such a powerful demon would allow herself to be killed, though I can understand wanting to be with her beloved in peace. Perhaps it's time for my third general to prove herself against the DemiFiend and his forces." Lucifer said as he looked to see a woman in her early 20s with short hair adorned with numerous ribbons. She wore a purple Gothic lolita outfit while smiling at the Devils in the hotel.

"Oh, trust me when I say I'll make sure that these Devils know their place and suffer your wrath." The woman said as Lucifer wasn't amused by her arrogance, for he knew that the woman was a sadist who enjoyed seeing others in pain but allowed her to prove herself so he could see the Sacred Gear in action.

"Words mean nothing unless you can back it up. Ensure you don't embarrass yourself, or I'll ensure it's the last thing you'll ever regret." Lucifer said as he squeezed a heart in his hand, making the woman choke on her spit. As she nodded before feeling her spirit released from its prison.

"I. I promise I'll...make sure not to embarrass you, my master." The woman said as she felt so much fear inside her soul that she knew failure was not an option.

Lucifer seemed pleased by this as he nodded. "Good. Now go meet up with Raynare and Asia. They will fill you in on their plan." Lucifer said as he watched the woman leave the castle before the demon looked to see his real and newest General.

"Make sure you keep an eye on her, and should she fail her task, you have my permission to kill her and take her Sacred Gear," Lucifer said as he handed the heart and a strange dagger to the cloaked demon. As they nodded and thanked their master before vanishing into the shadows.

Lucifer smiled as he watched his world while awaiting his entertainment.

Raynare was sharpening her blades as she giggled at the idea of gutting the Devils as if they see nothing but fish so she can keep those filthy creatures from harming her darling husband.

'Well, at least not yet.' Raynare said that she planned to become Issei's wife, even if she had to share him with Naho, Artemis, and possibly any other female demons infatuated with her beloved. It was only fitting since a powerful DemiFiend such as Issei couldn't be satisfied with just those two and knew her beloved still desired a harem, so Raynare wouldn't mind joining the harem, even if she didn't mind being treated as garbage.

She knew she deserved it and wouldn't mind repenting to her beloved even if she had to become a personal sex slave to grieve for her sins of harming him. So when Asia looked the Fallen Assassins' way, she could only chuckle in reply as she tended to her new pet.

"You never cease to amuse me, Raynare. I can imagine your probably fantasizing about your beloved banging you like a piston and filling you up with his seed while you beg for it like the bitch you are?" Asia asked as Raynare shamelessly smiled and nodded before satisfying her fantasies and hormones by rubbing her assets.

The Dragon Mage couldn't help but be amused by her partner until she looked to see a portal appear as their newest comrade came to join them.

"Ah. If it isn't the sadistic bitch who's more cowardly than a dog. Did Lucifer-sama send you here because he was sick of you already?" Asia said as the woman growled at the dragon mage for her choice of words but bit her tongue as she knew she was no match for the demonic mage before her, especially the massive beast she was sitting on top of.

"Lord Lucifer sent me to give the DemiFiend and his forces a distraction so you and that bitch could take care of the Devils. And remember my name. It's Walburga; now, who is this? Your newest pet?" Walburga asked as Asia giggled at the woman, not offended by her, before gesturing to her pet.

"This is one of the Ssu-Ling, celestial creatures in Chinese mythology. It represents the north, the season of winter, and the element of water. Known to be a great warrior, it is said to support the Earth from below when not exterminating youkai. His name is Xuanwu. Isn't he amazing?" Asia explained as Walburga felt intimidated by the massive turtle/snake-like creature until Asia came down off it.

"Fortunately, I was able to locate some of the much more powerful dragons in this world, and I was amazed by their power. So thanks to Lucifer's assistance, I was able to amass an army of dragons that follow my every command," Asia said in excitement as she snapped her left fingers to reveal many dragons appearing, ranging from Basilisks, Quetzalcoatl, Seiryu, Seth, and a massive robotic like dragon which sent fear down Walburga's soul.

"T-T-That's-!"

"Yes. This is the legendary dragon: Fafnir. Isn't he beautiful?" Asia asked as Walburga couldn't believe that this woman was capable of being able to control such powerful dragons.

"S-So what's the plan, Lady Asia?" Walburga asked as Asia gave her a simple smile.

"That's easy. You're going to lead some of my dragons against the DemiFiends army. The mission is to distract them, not kill them. Lord Lucifer is more interested in the Devils and what they're capable of, but we can't easily take them because Issei and his army are within the realm, so we need to keep them busy. That is where you come in." Asia explained as she reached into her dress pocket and handed a small green orb to Walburga.

"With this gem, you'll be able to control the dragons in putting under your command, but should the gem shatter, then the dragons will be free and go berserk, killing everyone within sight, so make sure you don't lose it," Asia warned as Walburga nodded before pocketing it and saw a few Avitaras, Basilisks, and Quetzalcoatl walk towards Walburga before the dragons known as Xuanwu and Seiryu flew next to her.

"So when do I launch the attack?" Walburga asked as Asia smiled and replied.

"Tomorrow morning," Asia said as she went towards Seth and Fafnir and snuggled between the two massive beasts, who didn't seem to mind the girl, as they used their wings to shield her from the cold, shocking Walburga after seeing such giant creatures of legends relax next to a girl that they had met for who knows how long.

Walburga then felt a sharp pain on her back as she slowly turned to see Raynare narrowing her eyes at the human before using a hand to cover the human's mouth. Walburga was scared as she thought the Bimbo would kill her, but the woman only whispered into her ear as Raynare spoke.

"Listen well Walburga. I don't know why Lord Lucifer chose you to come on this mission, but I don't give a care about you since you remind me of my old self, so that is why when you turn tail and run, it'll be so enjoyable watching you die and rot here in the world. However, even with those dragons at your disposal, you'll never defeat Issei Hyoudou and his team. While you only see others as tools to use at your disposal, Issei's true strength comes from those around him, so I suggest you pray to your Gods because you'll wish for death from Issei when you fail tomorrow." Raynare said as she let the human go and flew away into the sky to get some rest before the battle. Walburga shivered in fear as she felt like she had just faced death again and barely escaped its cold clutches.

Tomorrow was deciding whether Walburga, the wielder of Incinerate Anthem, would live or die.

Scene.

Yes, I know that this one is shorter than usual. Still, I wanted to pace this arc, so that'll be the first part that shows Lucifer's newest generals and their plans for the Devils. In contrast, the next chapter will show the ORC how outclassed they are once they see an old enemy and the soul they 'saved.' At the same time, Walburga, a human with a powerful Sacred Gear, deals with the consequences of her decision to become a general to Lucifer himself.
