This is a Konosuba DXD that was actually inspired by some of the online manga like Reincarnated as a Tree or Slime. I honestly found them amusing, so I figured with the world of Konosuba, it would be the perfect setup for my story. Hehe.

Issei groaned as he woke in the middle of a dark room, with no light to show where he was until he recalled a person who stabbed him.
"W-Wait a minute. D-Did I die in the park?" Issei asked himself until a voice replied to him.
"Yes. You did die." The voice said until a light shined in a dark throne room to reveal a figure sitting on the said throne and looking at Issei before the figure spoke to him.
"Do not be afraid child. I am Kyoichi Yasaka, or as others call me, the Devil King or Demon Lord. It doesn't matter to me, but I am sad to say this young man, but you're dead." The Demon said as Issei was shocked; the Demon Lord then appeared in front of him and summoned a chair for Issei to sit in while summoning a table with a tea set. Issei was surprised by the kindness of the Demon King before he asked him a question.
"Uh…Not that I don't like the hospitality, but why am I here? Are you going to eat my soul or something like that?" Issei asked as the Demon King laughed at the question before replying to him.
"No. No. I decided to try what those foolish Goddesses do when souls like you are deceased. They reincarnate them by saying they are chosen to be 'the legendary hero that'll slay the Demon Lord,' but the truth is that they lie to them, so the humans follow that ridiculous dream. I've seen many come with the same mindset and try to kill me, but very few have even come close to succeeding and following through with their resolve only to die a pathetic death or live their life as an average person." The Demon King said as he pouted the tea for them both before Issei thanked the Demon before sipping it and enjoying it.
"Woah, but that still doesn't explain why I'm here instead of them."
"Well, I said I wanted to try and reincarnate a person that died, and when I searched for a soul, I was disappointed in many of them since they didn't mind being reincarnated by a Devil and such, but when I saw your soul, it intrigued me." The Demon King said as he sipped his tea before continuing his story.
"When I saw you bleeding and dying on the ground, I saw that you never could make a wish from that little pamphlet you had with you then. However, I could sense your mind and soul aching as you asked yourself many questions. 'Why me? Was this my punishment? Am I going to die without being able actually to live my life?'" The Demon King said as he looked at Issei with sorrowful eyes before he continued.
"I looked into your past and saw that you were a very energetic child with your friend Irina, but when he moved away, you tried to befriend others so you could have friends again. However, you were shunned by many children. They didn't want to be your friend who made you a loner in your life and acted as a pervert to feel like you weren't alone or invisible to the world. Your family loved you, accepted you, and even cared so much for you. You were happy with them, so you didn't care if you had friends, which is why when Raynare approached you, you thought you would have a chance to be happy with someone else."
"….Only for it to bite me in the ass when I learned she was just using me and then killed me in cold blood. A small part of my mind told me she was lying, but…I wanted to feel happy from the love of someone else that I…I believed she loved me. I would've been happy with just her being my girlfriend." Issei said as he hated himself for feeling the same envious feeling of others having friends and being happy while he tried to be friends with others, but they pushed him away, saying he was ugly, a perverted freak, a man who should die, and so on. He didn't mind the insults said to him since he knew that the people around him only cared about themselves, not the ones they hurt like him.
The Demon King saw this and patted the boy's head before speaking to him. "I know how you feel. I was betrayed by those I thought loved me."
"You see, I am a descendant of the former Demon King, my ancestor, who was reincarnated into our world. When I was born, I had the unique ability to boost my comrade's power and wished to bring peace to the land of Humans, but sadly none of them cared to listen to our words. Humans of this world only follow the words of their foolish Gods and think we are nothing but monsters with no heart." The Demon King said as he drank his tea before refilling it.
"However, when I was living, I met a human, a healer who I thought loved me since she cared for me deeply and listened to my words as I told her I wanted peace. I thought we were in love, so she impregnated herself with my child, but I could tell that something was wrong when my daughter was born." The Demon King said as he drank his tea in one gulp before sighing to himself.
"My wife killed my daughter and tried to kill me in cold blood."
Issei was shocked by this as the Demon King refilled his tea. "I didn't want to kill her, but I had no choice. I killed the woman I thought loved me, only to learn she was a member of the Axis Cult, who despised my kind and only pretended to love me. I killed her, and it hurt me so much that I decided that no humans would ever care for us demons and only see us as monsters meant to kill."
Issei was shocked by this before he bowed his head in apology for his deceased daughter, which made the Demon King smile in thanks as Issei refilled his teacup.
"So why reincarnate me?"
"Because I believe you to be different from the other humans I've seen. You only yearn for the love and comfort of others while hiding behind a mask to keep others from hurting you. I see you are still a good man Issei Hyoudou, so I wish to reincarnate you as a new person, but I shall give you a choice. Be reborn as a human or a monster?"
Issei pondered his choices and knew what he wanted, so he spoke confidently and assured of his decision.
"I choose to be reborn as a Monster."
The Demon King was surprised by this choice until Issei told him why he chose to be a monster.
"I want to see the world through the eyes of others instead of being a part of the crowd. As a monster, I can see both sides. The Human side and the Demons side of this story." Issei said as the Demon King nodded before touching the boy's head.
"Very well then Issei Hyoudou. I know the perfect form for you. I wish you luck in learning what path you choose." The Demon King said as Issei felt his body morph and change as he blacked out but not before seeing the Demon King wish him well on his journey and new life.
Konosuba World!
'Mm. Huh? Where am I?' Issei asked himself as he felt weird about his new body since he wasn't sure what he was now. 'It feels like I'm in the water, but does that mean I'm an aquatic monster?'
Issei opened his eyes to see that he was inside a lake inside a cave, which amazed him until he left the cave by the water to look out and see a massive grassland with many monsters around it ranging from ordinary slimes to massive frogs.
"Woah. This world is amazing, but what exactly am I now?" Issei asked as he saw a screen appear in front of him.
Welcome Issei Hyoudou. You are now a Demon Jellyfish. Would you like a tutorial to learn about the world and your skills?
Issei was surprised by the screen before him until he responded. "Yes."
The screen then flashed as it showed Issei's form resembled a jellyfish's. The bell was semi-translucent and encircled with several white, star-shaped markings. The wavy rim of the bell flares outward and is bright blue. Its tentacles appeared gelatinous and gave him a vaguely humanoid shape. Issei saw that he had several tentacles meshed together, forming a cape or long hair, while four shorter tentacles resembled shorter hair and arms. Two long tentacles made up the legs of the human shape. In addition to its shape, his body seemed to be made of various types of glass.
The screen then spoke to him again.
This shall show your abilities, levels, and stats that can help you know how to evolve and improve yourself in combat. To call upon your screen, say Stats, and you'll be able to see them.
Issei then looked at his profile and was surprised to see them.

"Hm. So, my speed is my highest stat, while the rest of my stats are normal. What about my skills?" Issei asked himself as he scrolled down to see the skills that came with his new body.
Skills:
Symbiosis: The ability to possess weak-willed people and monsters. The user can use their skills and abilities and add their stats to their new body by possessing them.
Paralytic and Venomous Tentacles: The tentacles have a deadly neurotoxin that can paralyze the opponents and infect them with a deadly poison that causes damage to the internal body.
Consume: The ability to consume monsters and humans to gain their skills.
Swift Swim: Allows the user to move faster in the water than on land.
"Hm. Okay, so I can easily control others, like mind control, and attack with my tentacles. Consume strengthens me, and Swift Swim allows me to move faster underwater. It makes sense since jellyfish are aquatic creatures. I probably need to consume a land creature like a massive frog to get to the land." Issei pondered to himself as he felt like he was being targeted by a massive tentacle which made him stutter as a massive tentacle wrapped around his tiny body before seeing himself getting dragged underwater, which wasn't a problem since he could breathe underwater, but what scared him more was the massive tentacle that was able to drag him to the bottom of the cave where he was looking at a massive squid-like monster but what Issei saw, from some of the MMORPG games he played in his old life, was a massive Kraken.
The Kraken could tell that Issei wasn't an ordinary creature, so he must've wanted to eat him to gain his abilities, but Issei wouldn't go down without a fight.
"Sorry, but I'm not on the menu!" Issei shouted as he used his tentacles to sting the tentacle that wrapped around his body. Making the Kraken squeal in pain as it unwrapped his gave Issei the chance to look at the Kraken in full view.
The Kraken's size is roughly that of an entire cliff, and the Kraken's body structure is somewhat similar to a squid. Multiple giant tentacles stretched out from underneath the Kraken's colossal head. The Kraken has massive red eyes that make it want to kill Issei even more, so it begins to attack with its massive tentacles.
"Shit!" Issei cursed as he dodged the massive tentacles, which were easy thanks to his small size and Swift Swim, which allowed him to move underwater even faster. Issei kept striking the tentacles that were getting too close for comfort while trying to see the Kraken's stats.
You have encountered the Boss of Goblin Cave Lake: The Kraken.
"Are you kidding me?! A boss already on my first day here?!" Issei asked the screen before dodging another tentacle that would've hit him had he not dodged it. Issei then looked at its stats and saw it was insanely powerful.

Water-Fire: Allows the user to shoot fireballs underwater. It costs 25 Magic points to use.
Nocturnal Sight: Allows the user to see underwater in dark places.
Ink Cloud: Allows the user to escape from a near-fatal attack.
Spike Shot: Allows the user to shoot deadly spike-like missiles out of its head.
"Water Fire? What the hell is that?" Issei asked himself before seeing the massive Kraken shoot a fireball toward him, which burned two of his tentacles. Making Issei scream in pain as he felt the burning sensation on them until he realized that he had to be careful with the Water Fire before trying to figure out if he could escape. Still, as he tried multiple times, he was always stopped by the tentacles, or the rare Water Fire, which Issei could tell was draining on the user since he saw that the Kraken only used it when he was losing more health due to his poison.
"I got to get away from this guy," Issei said as he noticed that the Kraken was starting to get a bit slow, which was just the chance Issei needed to escape the Kraken.
You wish to retreat from the Boss of the Lake: Kraken. Do you wish to activate your Skill Symbiosis? Doing so will result in you being able to possess the closest living being near your location.
Issei nodded as he accepted the conditions before feeling his body being teleported away from the tentacle that was about to strike him, which made the Kraken growl in annoyance that his prey was gone before leaving in search of more food and a way to heal himself of the poison.
Now Giant Frogs and Toads in the Konosuba world don't harm or attack people unless provoked, but some adventurers take advantage of them due to the high quality of their cores and the taste of their flesh.
However, some adventurers like to hunt them for other reasons.
"Oh! Hit me with your strength, you brutish Toad!" A woman said lewdly while moaning from being crushed underneath a King Giant Toad. The woman who seemed to enjoy the pain was a 5'6" tall young woman with graceful features and alabaster skin. She was drop-edge gorgeous. A woman that any man would like until they learn of her other desires. She was well-endowed and had light blue eyes and straight, long blonde hair tied with braid and red hair clips secured on both sides of her bangs.
"Oh yes! Crush me more with your weight, you beautiful brute!" The woman moaned in ecstasy while the frog was eating a massive bug that it had caught earlier until swallowing its food. The King Toad then walked towards the lake to drink some of the water but was unaware of the surprise it was about to be in for.
Issei's bell flew out of the water as he was shocked to see a massive toad in front of him before his vision became black.
'H-Holy shit. Did I die again?!' Issei asked himself before his vision began to change as he looked to see that he was now on land, but the difference was that his body seemed to be different now. Issei wasn't sure what was happening to him until the screen appeared.
You escaped the Boss of the Lake: Kraken, by using Symbiosis. Thanks to the skill, you could possess and take over the King Toad. By possessing other living beings, your stats and skills combine with the body you use with Symbiosis.
'Well, that explains why I'm a lot bigger now.' Issei said to himself as he looked at the sky to water to see his reflection reveal the bell on the head of the toad and was amazed by the size of the amphibian before seeing an option before him.

Issei pondered this before nodding at the idea since he knew the frogs were amphibians and could be on both land and water. 'Yes. I'll consume the toad.'
Issei's bell began to absorb the massive toad slowly, making it croak lowly as if it was slowly being eaten alive until the massive toad went into the jellyfish's bell.
Issei's body felt light and rejuvenated as he saw his screen pop up at him.

This surprised the reincarnated Jellyfish before he saw that his stats and Level had stopped at Level 10.
"Alright! I'm at Level 10 now." Issei cheered himself and was surprised by his growth before looking at his new stats.

Due to you reaching Level 10, you have also gained new Skills, and some have improved significantly, which will help you deal with enemies easier.

Swift Swim has evolved into Aqua Jet. The improved skills allow the user to become encompassed by a water-like veil around its body and shoot toward the target like a projectile. It also doubles in speed when in the water.
New skills obtained from consuming the King Toad are.
Amphibious Body: The user can go on land and sea without suffering from intense heat but weak to cold weather or ice attacks.
Unique Skill from the Giant King Toad: Dry Skin allows the user to restore HP from water, water magic, damp areas, and rainy weather.
Sticky Tentacles. Changed from Sticky Tongue. This allows the user to extend the tentacles' reach while making them sticky to catch flying enemies. Accuracy increases depending on Luck.
Massive Belly: Allows the user to store objects within the second stomach.
Enhanced Leaping: Allows the user to jump long distances.
Shock Resistance: The Giant King Toad's blubbery body was resistant to blunt force attacks and weak weapons, so now the user can withstand most attacks from low-grade swords, maces, and physical attacks.
This impressed Issei since he could now get more robust and better handle his new body and powers. Still, before he could plan his next move, Issei heard some moaning near him to see the blonde woman that seemed to be amazed by the creature that just appeared to have taken away her joy, but when she saw the tentacles, a lewd smile began to appear on her face.
"Ah! I've found it! The ultimate creature to help me reach the highest pleasure of all." The woman shouted as she began to reach towards the jellyfish while panting so heavily; her face was beet red, and her eyes filled with lust, making Issei's mind tell him to stay away from this woman.
'Holy shit. She's a hardcore masochist?!' Issei shouted in his mind as the woman grabbed him and hugged him tightly.
"Yes! Wrap me in your tentacles and do so many unimaginable things to me! I want to reach nirvana as my mother did when she was fighting the massive Orcs and could stand strong while being slammed by their massive meaty fists!" The woman cheered happily with hearts in her eyes as Issei was creeped out by this woman until he grabbed the woman's head and landed on top of her before using Symbiosis.
"Oh! ~ I can feel its tentacles and power taking over my body. I've never felt such pleasure, even when Giant Toads and Frogs ate me." The woman said as she felt the tentacles wrap around her bust and arms. Issei was very impressed by the woman's resilience.
"Wow. She is a hardcore masochist. It makes me wonder what kind of person her mother was." Issei said as he felt the woman's body stop moving before his tentacles went back inside his bell as the woman opened her eyes and blinked for a moment until she looked at her body and smiled in joy.
"Woah. For a masochist, she is a beautiful woman. I'd want to date her if it weren't for her personality." Issei said as he began to inspect the woman's stats by opening his new window.

Issei could tell that this body's stats added to his stats were incredible, but he was amazed by the high Endurance.
"So, what does this woman have for me?" Issei asked himself as he looked at his stats to see that her Strength and Endurance were her strongest suits while her Magic, Speed, and Intelligence were relatively low.
Skills gained from Darkness/Meat Puppet.
Masochistic Strengthening: The more damage the user takes, the better her swordsmanship and Attack power rise.
'So, at first, she's a Shielder pretending to be a Crusader, but after taking many hits, she's a real Crusader with low defense? That is both good but troubling at the same time.' Issei said as he pondered the consequences of possessing a total masochist. 'I hope there are no side effects of being able to possess this woman.'
Issei said to himself before seeing the woman's memories as he was amazed by how Darkness was a follower of the Eris Cult. He had learned from the King Toad's memories of the two significant cults in the world. It was the national faith of the Kingdom of Belzerg, with members of the nobility like the Dustiness family traditionally being faithful followers of the Eris Order.
Members of the Eris Order host the Eris Appreciation Festival each summer annually. In the festival, women and some men will dress up as the Goddess Eris so that Eris can descend from the heavens and walk among the masses without revealing her identity. It was also said that dressing up as the Goddess Eris keeps the person safe until the next festival. Superstitious sure, but everyone loved a good festival.
Although there are more followers of the Eris Order, the Axis Order followers are more fanatical, giving Aqua more power than Eris, the opposite of the Eris Order.
Namely known for their notoriety, their followers are known to have some screw loose or just plain weird in the head. They will stop at nothing for their missionary job, from fraud to exhortation.
They also slander the Eris cult, such as the evil cult, heathen cult, crazy cult, etc. They will even smash the windows of the Eris church and beat up the believer of the Eris cult. This is also why some people thought the Axis cult belonged to the Demon Lord because of their notoriety.
That's also why no one was willing to get involved with the Axis cult, which Issei had no intention of since compared to the crazies the King Toad had met when it was little, the people of the Axis cult were even crazier and more insane that even made Issei think that they were cult that served the Demon Lord.
The Goddesses worshipped under the two were complete opposites of each other.
Eris was known as the Goddess of Fortune and Luck, which the Toad was rather impressed by when it was tiny when it met the Goddess, who may have a distaste towards Demons but was a caring soul who loved all living creatures. When it was alive, the toad had gone through endless pain and torture from adventurers trying to harm it when it only wanted to live and find a mate. He thought that he would be dead until a thief known as Chris showed him mercy and revealed her nature as a Goddess who made the Toad grateful towards the Goddess. So, in a way, the Goddess had gained a follower in a monster.
This memory amazed Issei since he could see Eris as a good person until he saw the memories that showed Eris's 'superior' under Aqua: The Goddess of Water. According to the Toad's memories, Aqua was a useless Goddess.
She had an exciting yet troublesome personality. She was seen as a high-spirited, cheerful, and carefree person who rarely thought about the consequences of her actions. Granted, she didn't force her beliefs onto others; however, she always acted or spoke at her whims, resulting in her behaving very inappropriately in many situations. From when he was a regular Toad, the King Toad also hated how Aqua usually performed good deeds but immediately ruined her merits by aggressively and persistently seeking praises.
"Woah. That was a rush. It felt different than the memories I saw of the King Toad. Could it have been due to me possessing a human?" Issei asked himself before smiling as he then had an idea.
"Hm. This might be an excellent chance to experience the humans in her city." Issei pondered as she saw that this body was a royal daughter with a kind soul and a very kinky mind. "Heh. Sort of like me. Excellent."
Issei then began to head towards Beginner Town as he was interested in seeing the humans of this world.
"Hm. How interesting. It seems Issei has adapted to his body very well, even though he's only fought two creatures. I'm curious to see how he'll use that body he possesses when seeing the humans of Beginner Town." The Demon King said as he watched the possessed human walk toward the town before looking at a scroll one of his generals delivered to him.
"Hm. What an unexpected turn of events. This'll be interesting." The Demon King said with an intrigued expression while pondering what Issei would do when he faced one of his generals.
Dustiness House
Issei was amazed as he looked at the mansion that belonged to Darkness's family until Darkness walked inside the mansion to be greeted by the man who was Darkness's father.
He was an older man wearing formal attire, befitting a noble of his title. He had well-kept blonde hair and blue eyes; unlike his daughter, Darkness, his hair had no ombre of yellow to orange.
'Ignis Ford Dustiness. According to this woman's memories, he's a kind and good noble that cares for his people. He seems to be aware of his daughter's masochism and is worried about her safety as an adventurer, which is why he tries to match-make his daughter with an exceptional young man that has a bright future. However, Darkness only wants someone that is the scum of the scums, so she rejects all the candidates because they are too good for her taste.'
Which is crazy and stupid in most cases.
Ignis greeted his daughter as if she wasn't possessed until the two were alone in the mansion's living room when Issei saw another side of the woman's father.
"I'm well aware that you possess my daughter. Would you please tell me your reasons for taking my little girl's body?" Ignis asked as Issei decided to stop pretending and spoke to him as himself.
"Hello, there, Ignis Ford Dustiness. My name is Issei Hyoudou. I was recently reincarnated when I died a couple of days ago. I'm a human that was reborn as a monster, but I mean no harm to you, your daughter, or the people of Belzerg. I wish to live my life to the fullest and one day have a harem of beautiful women who love and vice versa." Issei said as Ignis was surprised by the monster's reply and reasoning before smiling at the boy.
"Heh. You may be in my daughter's body, but I can see you're a good man. I want to pay you for caring for my daughter's body and possibly working with her on quests. She's a good person, but her masochism prevented her from having many friends. All except Chris, a fellow adventurer who works with her from time to time." Ignis said as Issei was more than happy to accept the money from the nobleman before taking Darkness to her room after dinner.
Darkness groaned as she woke up to see Issei before her, making the Crusader moan in joy until she felt her chest slapped by one of his tentacles.
"Okay, listen. My name is Issei Hyoudou. I wanted to see what humans are like because I'm unsure if I can trust the humans of this world; however, I am willing to work with you on some of your quests. I'll be working with you as a partner. Money will be split seventy-five percent for me while twenty-five for you." Issei said, which made Darkness moan as she enjoyed the tone that made Issei feel like this was the beginning of a beautiful partnership.
"Deal! And if I accept this deal, will you continue to possess me and use those tentacles on me to do many unimaginable things?!" Darkness asked in joy and happiness until her chest was slapped again with Issei's tentacles, making her moan in delight until Issei pulled away.
"...I spoke to your father about it, and he said he doesn't mind. You can hit your opponent with a sword when possessed by someone." Issei said as Darkness was shocked by her skill before thanking the monster for the arrangement.
"Thank you. Even though you were controlling my body, I could see that you were concerned for me and took care of me. Thank you Issei Hyoudou. I look forward to working with you. Would you be interested in becoming an adventurer like me?"
"Sorry, but I'm going to pass on the offer. I still like to train in the forest and plan to secure the cave and lake where I appeared." Issei said as Darkness was surprised by this creature before nodding in acceptance of her new partner's ideas.
"I understand." Darkness said as she removed her armor and such, leaving just her regular clothes on before getting into her bed and patting the empty side of her bed. "Aren't you going to join me?"
Usually, any guy would accept an offer from a beautiful woman, but Issei wasn't buying what she was selling.
"What do you get out of this? Hoping my tentacles move and wrap around your body so you get turned on by me getting frisky with you?" Issei asked. Darkness had stars in her eyes as she replied while nodding.
"Yes! Please use my body however you wish! Even playing with my body to satisfy your desires will be!" Darkness said before she was possessed by Issei again until Darkness passed out while Issei made the woman sleep.
"Mm. This body is strong and athletic, but she needs to know there's a time and place to be serious or give in to her desires." Issei said as he felt tired and let the Crusader's body go to sleep.
The Next Day...
"Okay. It's time to test out my new skills." Issei said as he walked with Darkness's body into the forest to see that there were some Goblins, Slimes, Toads, and other monsters that would be an exciting challenge for Issei to get used to.
"Alright. Let's do this!" Issei cheered as he began to head out to some cave. Issei had looked in Darkness's memories last night and learned about good places for him to train and fight other monsters and some people. He was impressed with how Darkness could memorize good locations for quests but felt that Darkness remembered them to satisfy her desire to be dominated by monsters.
"Hm. The cave should be around here somewhere." Issei said to himself as he walked around to see a small army of Goblins taking some massive bugs to the cave. This made Issei curious before he stayed behind a couple of bushes but watched the Goblins enter a cave while also eyeing the guards at the front entrance.
You are near the Goblin Cave. You are above the recommended level to enter this cave but know there is a boss there. Entering the dungeon will prevent you from leaving until the Boss of the dungeon is killed. Would you like to see the summary of the dungeon?
Issei nodded as he accepted the offer and looked at the summary of it.
Goblin Cave. Recommended Level: Level 10-15.
Seven Floors.

Issei could tell that this was suspicious since he couldn't see the boss but figured that with Darkness's body, he could use her as a meat shield to protect him from most harm to get the drop on them.
"Alright then. Time to go on a Dungeon Raid." Issei said as he smiled through Darkness before heading out to the entrance to see that the Goblins at the front entrance were not even paying attention as they were a bit drowsy. Issei smiled at this before letting Darkness's arms transform into tentacles before he shot them toward the Goblins, which surprised them, but the tentacles covered their mouths.
As the two struggled to get out of the human's grip, they saw that the Human began to squeeze the life out of them and let the poison help with their death. The Goblins wheezed heavily, losing consciousness and strength until they passed out.
Issei let them both go before taking Darkness's sword and stabbing the Goblin's heads to make sure, which made him sigh with relief before he left the human and began to consume the two Goblins. Issei didn't seem to mind the taste of the Goblins as he felt his body gain some power before the screen popped up.

No Skills were gained from consuming them since they were too low level.
Issei didn't seem to mind this as he looked back at Darkness and saw that she was still standing with a blank look before Issei saw the screen explain what was happening to Darkness.

Issei nodded at him since he had been in control of her body for about half a day, meaning that Darkness would be his Meat Puppet or second body.
Issei then climbed back on Darkness's head and regained control of the body before walking into the dungeon to face the upcoming monsters.

First Floor.
Enemies Remaining on Floor: 10
"At least that'll help me know how many enemies there are on this floor," Issei whispered to himself as he began to enter the dungeon and saw that the inside was much larger than it was on the outside of the cave.
What Issei had learned about Goblins may not apply to this world, but there were usually different kinds of Goblins who could use special and unique skills similar to that of a normal adventurer. This worried him since he had a feeling that the Goblins of this world may have abilities that he had seen in a game back home, which is why he was concerned about the possibility due to knowing how dangerous powered-up Goblins are and what tricks they may be up to.
Issei's train of thought stopped as he heard some Goblins munching on flesh from an animal's body. This would've disgusted Issei when he was still a human, but strangely it didn't bother him.
Enemies detected. Eight Normal Goblins.
'Is there a difference between a Normal Goblin and other Goblins?' Issei asked as the screen replied to his thoughts.
Normal Goblins are mere foot soldiers and the lowest of the Goblin race. As they get stronger from defeating enemies, they can gain the ability to grow into differently evolved versions of their species. For example, if a Goblin wishes to pursue magic, they can become a Goblin Shaman, or if they wish to have incredible strength and endurance, they can become a Hobgoblin.
'That's good to know. I wonder what kind of evolution I can go through when I reach a certain level.' Issei asked himself as he stayed hidden behind some boulders and looked at the eight Goblins scattered in the cave but armed with clubs, slingshots with stones, rusted armor, shoddy-made arrows and bows, and some daggers.

"These stats were even worse than mine when I first started. And there are eight of these guys? It'll be like killing many birds with one stone." Issei said to himself before having Darkness's arms become tentacles and shooting them toward two Goblins in his sight.
The Goblin's mouths were covered, so their screams were muffled until Issei squeezed them hard until they stopped breathing and moving, which made Issei relax a bit as he absorbed the Goblins and gained some experience points.

"Scan," Issei said, a line he saw in an anime about seeing the stats of the weapons and armor until he saw that the daggers would be helpful.

A standard weapon of choice for Goblins since the antidote for the poison is used by many adventurers when facing Goblins.

"Well, that'll be helpful when dealing with them," Issei said to himself as he took the daggers in his hands and decided to get up close when killing the Goblins so for the next six Normal Goblins, Issei had worked on being sneaky and killed the remaining six Normal Goblins by slitting their throats.
The remaining killings gave him some extra experience, but what surprised him was the new skill he unlocked.

Shadow Step: The user can move quietly in the darkness to attack the enemy from behind. Chances of Instant Kill are 25% success.
Issei was surprised that he could create a new skill by his actions alone, which made him think that he could improve the skill if he were to do something else with the skill.
But he'll worry about that later.

This worried Issei as he continued to explore the floor to see that there were no other Goblins on the floor until he walked towards a door at the end of the floor to see two skeleton-like soldiers standing guard there.

This surprised Issei since he wasn't expecting to see a Necromancer's soldiers in Goblin Cave. Still, as he looked closer at the Skeletons, he could see the similarities between them and normal Goblins.

Issei said to himself as he put away the daggers in Darkness's satchel before cracking his knuckles and charging at the two skeletons, who were caught off guard by the appearance of the Crusader until they were pummeled to oblivion by a powerful punch that amazed Issei even more by his partner's strength.

Issei Hyoudou: Demonic Jellyfish, has Leveled up to Level 11.
This made Issei smile as he felt his jellyfish body strengthen before proceeding to the next floor. Issei wasn't sure what kind of enemies he faced ahead, but with Darkness at his side, he could take down any foe in the dungeon.
Issei entered the second floor of the dungeon and could clear it quickly due to it being filled with Normal Goblins. The third floor was the same but had a few more Goblin Skeleton Soldiers until he entered the fourth floor of the Dungeon and saw that the cave was a bit different since there weren't any massive boulders in the way but a rather large sized tree in the middle of the dungeon surrounded by a small pool of water.
Fourth Floor out of the Seven Floors.
Enemies Detected: Two
This surprised Issei; he looked around to find no enemies, which proved dangerous as Issei missed the eyes of his target, eyeing him until a blur leaped from the shadows.
Issei turned back to see a massive black blur appear in front of him and slash Darkness's body with sharp claws that did damage to her armor, but it didn't seem to harm her body.

Issei was shocked as he stood up to see his attacker. His enemy was a massive catlike creature bigger than lions or tigers that sported black fur, golden eyes, and a pair of long huge fangs.
Rookie Killers: Intelligent monsters that specialize in hunting beginner adventurers. They do so by protecting tribes of Goblins and Kobolds which are the common targets of beginner adventurers, whom the Rookie Killers ambush as they head towards what should have been an easy quest.
This surprised Issei since he had never heard of such a monster in any game he had played before until he saw the Goblin riding its back on a makeshift saddle while wearing rusted armor and wielding a spear.
Goblin Rider. A particular class of Goblins specializing in riding and taming beasts for the clan.
Issei didn't have time to see their stats as he had to dodge the cat's pounce, giving him enough time to bring out his sword.
"Bring it on kitty cat!" Issei shouted as he let out a war cry and charged at the duo to see that the Goblin Rider was brighter than Normal Goblins since it knew how to use the Rookie Killers' unique prowess to take down adventurers.
Issei deflected the spear when the Goblin threw it but had trouble taking down the Goblin itself due to the Rookie Killer using its claws to push him back as the Goblin Rider got his spear back before getting on top of his beast.
This exchange continued for about a good ten minutes, which began to take a toll on Issei's partner as Darkness's body slowly lost more and more armor due to the powerful blows from the Rookie Killer.
'Damn. I must take out the Goblin Rider and that cat, but how?' Issei asked himself as he saw the Rookie Killer getting ready to strike down Darkness, but before Issei could do anything, he felt his footing slip for a moment as he looked behind him to see the pool of water.
The gears in his mind began to turn as he devised a plan.
"This has got to be my craziest idea yet," Issei said as he put his sword back in the scabbard and left Darkness's head before showing his jellyfish form to the duo. This surprised the Goblin Rider and his beast before Issei called out to them.
"Hey! Come and get some takoyaki on the house!" Issei shouted as the cat licked its lips in response before chasing Issei away from Darkness's body until Issei was struck by a harsh blow from the Rookie Killer's claws.
You have taken severe damage and suffered a Bleed effect. Bleeding will occur for 60 seconds.
'Tch. This better work.' Issei said in his mind as he flew into the tree's trunk and fell into the water.
The Goblin Rider and the Rookie Killer looked at the water and didn't see their prey until the Goblin Rider got off his beast and began to circle the pool to locate the jellyfish while stabbing his spear into the water. The Rookie Killer stayed where it was dismounted while watching the water in anticipation.
The Goblin Rider was about to give up until he felt something grab his spear, causing the water to explode, which revealed Issei as he came out of the water with a smirk as he charged towards the Rookie Killer.
"Try this! Aqua Jet!" Issei shouted as he stabbed the Rookie Killer's side, which made the feline howl in pain until it flew towards the side of the cave and hobbled to get back on its feet due to the surprise attack until Issei's two main tentacles wrapped its body before it was thrown towards the Goblin Rider, who was shocked by this as it was slammed by the feline and into the cave wall.
Issei smirked as he used Aqua Jet to boost his speed and headed toward the duo. The Goblin Rider could push off the feline at the last second before its chest was pierced by Issei's Aqua Jet as if he was a hot knife slicing through butter.
The Goblin Rider felt nothing as he looked at the hole in his chest before collapsing in pain. Issei looked to see that the Rookie Killer was struggling to stand up due to the poison in its body from Issei's tentacles and the damage to its ribs from the Aqua Jet.
"Ready for Round Two?" Issei asked with his tentacles poised and ready as the cat growled at Issei before trying to run towards him. Still, the wet floor from Issei's Aqua-Jets had made the floor slippery as it collapsed on its side, and just as Issei was about to attack the feline, he looked into its eyes and saw the Rookie Killer look at Issei with fear as it was slowly trying to get away from him.
Issei would've attacked the feline if not for the fact that the look of fear in its eyes reminded Issei of his fear when he saw the Kraken and thought he would die. Instead, Issei turned around and looked at the body of the Goblin Rider before using Consume on it as he devoured the Goblin instead of the Rookie Killer.
The massive feline watched from its side of the cave as Issei looked out his new window.

Issei smiled at this as he closed his screen and saw that the tree had begun to move around. A face slowly appeared on the trunk, scaring Issei a bit as he thought the tree would attack him until he saw the tree smile at him before speaking.
"Hello, young man. It has been long since I have seen a reincarnated human show mercy to any monster." The tree chuckled as Issei was surprised that the tree knew of his identity before the elder tree looked at the feline and extended one of its roots towards the feline and dragged it back towards the small pool of water before the root that was wrapped around the car had begun to heal its wounds which surprised Issei even more until he saw the tree look towards the jellyfish and speak to him.
"You had every intention to strike down the feline, yet you hesitated at the last moment. Why is that?" The Elder Tree asked as Issei looked at the feline, still healing from its wounds, before Issei spoke to the tree.
"I couldn't kill him because it was scared like I was when I first arrived. I looked at its eyes and saw myself." Issei replied as the tree nodded before using a branch to ruffle the young boy's head.
"I see. It appears that you are different from the others who were reincarnated here. I have a small favor that I want to ask of you." The Elder Tree said as Issei nodded in reply before the tree spoke to him about his favor.
"I ask that you take a small gift of mine and use it to defeat the monsters in this dungeon." The tree said as it strangely handed Issei a golden apple in the form of a heart. Issei was in awe of the offering before the tree explained its purpose.
"This is my heart. By consuming my heart, you can evolve into something new. It allows humans or monsters to transcend their natural forms and become even stronger than they are now; however, the humans that have taken residence in this dungeon are not ones that I would trust with this gift, so please use it to help yourself or your comrades." The Elder Tree said as he slowly began to wither away, leaving behind the small pool of water until the door was revealed in the back of the cave.
Issei was about to go to Darkness until he looked at the Rookie Killer and handed it the heart. The feline was surprised by this until Issei smiled in reply.
"You should use it since you need it more than I do," Issei said as he placed the heart before the feline and headed back toward Darkness's body. After regaining control of his partner, he headed to the next floor, leaving behind the feline as it looked at the heart before it until it decided to eat it.
The Rookie Killer mewled in joy as it felt its body become rejuvenated until it felt strange as its body slowly began to change into something else. The feline mewled as its body began to heal and become more humane as its claws retracted into its paws.
Its fur began to fall off its body. In contrast, the face of the feline began to become more feminine as the mewling began to change into more of a female groaning until the newly evolved Rookie Killer opened its amber eyes to look into the water and see its reflection.
The newly transformed feline was shocked by the person until it realized that the new person in the water was itself. She began to inspect her new body and found that it made her look like a few DemiHumans that it had seen with other adventurers.
"Meow?" The feline said to herself as he looked at the dungeon gate and thought that the jellyfish might be able to help it with its predicament, so it got on all fours and began to run out of the floor and hopefully catch up to the strange human and jellyfish.
Fifth Floor has been completed. You may now enter the next floor of the dungeon.
Issei sighed in relief as he was glad to be done with killing the Goblins and the skeletons, but before he could get out of the floor, he was tackled by a naked woman.
"Meow!" The woman cheered as she began to look at Issei's face before Issei pushed the woman off of him to see that the woman that tackled him was a beautiful teenage girl with long black hair and cat-like ears on top of her head. She had amber-like eyes looking at him curiously while she rubbed her body around him like a pet cat wanting attention from its master. Her body had a slender build with an ample bosom that made Issei blush at the woman's beauty until Issei asked the woman a question.
"Who are you?" Issei asked as the woman stopped rubbing before pointing at herself and mewling as if trying to speak to him until Issei's screen appeared before him.
Beastkin. An evolved version that Rookie Killers can take on if they are curious about humans that showed kindness to them.
Issei's eyes began to widen as he recognized the cat. "Wait a minute. Are you the same Rookie Killer that I gave the heart to?" Issei asked as the Beastkin nodded in reply before purring as she rubbed her body on Issei's legs as if she was thankful for him giving her the heart.
"Do you want to come with me?" Issei asked as the Beastkin mewled in reply; she cheered and began to lick his hands which tickled him until he saw the screen appear before him.
Do you wish to use the skill Taming on the Beastkin?
"Yes," Issei said as the Beastkin mewled lewdly as a circle appeared on its chest that took on the form of a jellyfish before the screen revealed the process.
Beastkin has been tamed and added to your party. Would you like to give Beastkin a name?
"...Hm. How about Kali?" Issei asked as the newly named Rogue smiled joyfully as she hugged her master and spoke actual words for the first time.
"Thank you, master! I promise to...Oh my goodness! I can talk like a human now." Kali said as she began experimenting with her new voice until Issei saw that she was still naked before looking at Darkness's spare change of clothes in her bag.
"Hey, Kali," Issei said before giving the new clothes to Kali and helping her get changed, which was hard since Kali didn't seem to like the idea of having clothes on her body, but after some tough love, Kali was appropriately dressed.
"Ugh. These clothes feel weird. I have fur, so why must I wear some human clothing?" Kali asked as Issei replied to her.
"Modesty, and so humans don't think I'm some slave owner because you are naked."
"Does this mean I was naked when I was a monster?"
"...I...I honestly don't know."
"Humans are so weird."
"I'm going to have to agree with you on that," Issei said as he and Kali left the fifth floor of the dungeon and headed to the sixth floor to see that there was a massive monster in the center of the room with a pair of goblins at the door, but these Goblins seemed to be wielding staffs.
Sixth Floor out of the Seventh Floors
Three Enemies Detected: Two Goblin Shaman and One Hobgoblin.
Goblin Shamans are Goblins with a unique magical talent, so they can learn spells to assist their clans. They are not strong but can be deadly with magic if they can use higher magic.
Hobgoblins are evolved Goblins that are bodyguards and excel in strength. They are large and slow but can crush enemies with brute force.
"Okay. We'll have to deal with the Shamans first before the Hobgoblin." Issei said before looking at Kali. "Kali. Can you deal with the Shamans without being seen?"
Kali looked at the two and replied. "I can kill one if I sneak up on them, but I'll be cooked if the other one notices me. Do you have any weapons I can use?"
Issei then handed her two of the Poisoned Daggers he had from the other Goblins he killed earlier, which made Kali thank him before she went into the shadows to hide from the enemy. On the other hand, Issei decided to fight the Hobgoblin.
Issei charged with a war cry as he used Darkness's sword to stab the Hobgoblin's leg, which made the massive goblin roar in pain as it began to try and punch Issei into the ground. Still, Darkness's endurance, combined with his own, could stop the attack before pushing back and forcing the Hobgoblin to use its wooden club to strike him.
While Issei dealt with the Hobgoblin, one of the Shamans began to shoot fireballs at the human while the other Shaman levitated some pebbles in the air and began to fire them at the human. Darkness's body could resist the pebbles, but the fireball left a massive burn on the armor, forcing Issei to take it off while facing the Hobgoblin.
Issei roared as he dodged the club's strike until he climbed on top of it and began to run up the arm while cutting into its flesh with the sword, making the Hobgoblin roar until Issei leaped towards the head of the Hobgoblin but missed his target.
However, the Hobgoblin's relief was short-lived as the sword stabbed into the chest of the Hobgoblin, which made it roar in pain as Issei held on tight with one hand while using the second hand to use a dagger and stabbed into the chest once again before climbing up the Hobgoblin while the Hobgoblin tried to remove the sword from its chest and stop the bleeding.
The Shamans were scared until one of them was killed by a dagger impaling its skull while Kali tore apart the other Shaman and sank her teeth into the Shaman's neck before ripping its head off while licking her teeth clean of blood. A smile appeared on her lips before she began to lick her paws of the blood as any cat would until she saw Issei reach the Hobgoblin's neck and stab the daggers into the neck while holding on for life. In contrast, the Hobgoblin slowly began to fall onto its knees as it felt so much blood leave its body.
Kali looked at the kill in awe until the Hobgoblin collapsed into the floor, dead from blood loss, which made Kali appear in awe of her master's skills until she saw Issei leave Darkness's body and begin to consume the Hobgoblin's body into his tiny body.
"Kali. You can eat the Goblins if you want." Issei said as he ate his meal while Kali thanked her master before consuming the two Shamans, which made Kali purr in joy as she felt power enter her body.
"Thank you, master. You kill good, which makes me want to mate with you." Kali said in joy as she pondered the idea of her and her master mating and having deadly babies who could kill their enemies very well.
Issei blushed at the idea of mating with Kali, while Darkness's mind seemed to have some dirty thoughts about the idea, resulting in her imagining herself being marked by the Beastkin. "Uh. We may have to get to know each other better before we get to that point." Issei said as he finished consuming the Hobgoblin before his screen appeared.

Issei closed the screen as he took over Darkness and walked over towards Kali, who waited patiently for her master until the two walked out together towards the final floor of the dungeon.

Issei nodded in confirmation before entering the final room to see that it was a large throne room with two people standing next to each other. The first human was a middle-aged, tall, and obese man. He wore white gloves and red and blue clothes with golden stripes. He had long blonde hair and a blonde mustache.
"Are the tears ready to be delivered to the drop point? We must deliver the tears as soon as possible without any delay."
"I told you that I'll make sure to bring the tears to you, but are you sure it's best to bring them out now? We should at least do a few more tests on it so we can..." The fat man said as he was interrupted by a voice speaking to him.
"Do not forget that you are still in charge of your land because of me. I can easily take it away from you just as quickly. Do not think. Just do as your told. Is the at clear?" The voice asked, which made the man sigh in exhaustion before nodding.
"Of course. We'll make sure that the tears are delivered without fail. The Diablo Cult will make their mark and show humanity a greater threat than that lazy Demon King." The man said before the voice left the room; as the man looked at the room entrance.
"You can come out now. I already know you are there, so reveal yourself already." The man said as Issei walked out with his hands up before asking the man.
"Apologies, but I was a bit curious about this cult. Mind telling me more about this Diablo cult?" Issei asked; as the man chuckled in reply as the entrance closed behind him.
"Well, since you will die already, I might as well explain." The man said before sitting on the throne and introducing himself. "My name is Lord Alderp Barnes Alexei. I am the governor of Axel, which is easy since the people are so gullible and naive to think I actually care about them but only care about one person. Me." Alderp said as Issei began to listen to his monologue while the caster was a woman with a collar around her neck and a chain held in the fat man's hand.
"You see, for too long, I've grown bored of my role as governor of a backwater city when I know I can use my intellect to kill much bigger fish. The Demon King is my target, and once I kill him and take his power, I'll have an unstoppable army at my disposal to rule over the kingdom, but I am simply human, meaning I'll get weaker as I age and grow old. I have little time as a human, but I was blessed by the Diablo Cult, who serve a Goddess who can bless humans with the gift of becoming a monster, so I knew it was my ticket to getting power." Alderp said as he revealed a small red seed-like gem in a vial.
"This is a Tear of Diablo. A gift from the goddess, and with this, a human can transcend human life and become a monster of absolute strength. However, there is another way for humans to become monsters, which is where my ex-wife is involved." Alderp said as he pulled the chain towards him, which made the woman fall on her knees with the hood off to reveal that she was also a human but had long Snow White hair and crimson eyes broken as if she accepted her fate.
Issei gripped his knuckles as he looked at the poor treatment of the woman until Alderp opened her mouth and popped the Tear of Diablo into her mouth and forced her to swallow it, which made the woman scream in pain as she felt her body change into something else. Her ears became long and pointed while her body began shrinking until the cloak engulfed her. Issei was shocked, thinking the idiot had killed her until it was revealed that she had become a fairy the size of Darkness's hand; she stood close to the noble before he smirked at him.
"You see? This is the power of the Tear of Diablo. My useless whore of a wife is now useful as a fairy, and she can use magic more proficiently now. Why not join me and the cult? I'll offer you Axel as payment so you can have your land to rule over when I become the next Demon King." Alderp said as Issei looked at him with annoyance before shaking his head and drawing his sword.
"Why don't I have you go meet your Goddess?" Issei said as Alderp chuckled in reply as he stood up. Just as Kali was about to strike him, the fat noble moved with speed not human, caught the Beastkin, and threw her towards Issei, who caught her with one arm; as the two looked at the noble as he began to groan in pain as he began to transform into a massive Goblin which made him chuckle at the surprised look on the two intruders before roaring at them.
"YOUR MINE!"
Boss of the Dungeon: Alderp the Goblin King and the Unnamed Fairy
"Scatter Kali!" Issei shouted as the two began to circle two before Issei was forced to block the Ace strike from Alderp as he laughed at the human.
"Hah! Do you think you can defeat me? I've been around far longer than you have, woman. Why don't you lie down and let me make you my new wife?" Alderp asked as Darkness pushed him back before Issei had left Darkness and used Aqua Jet to strike the Goblin King, which fazed him a little but not by much while Kali was pinning the Fairy to the wall and knocked her out.
"Master! The Fairy is down! It's just the stupid Goblin left!" Kali shouted as she dodged the axe strike from Alderp before he roared and tried to attack Kali, but the Beastkin's speed helped her dodge the attacks. At the same time, Darkness regained consciousness and began to take heavy blows, which made her blush as she enjoyed the feeling but felt the power flow into her body as she could land strikes with her sword at the Goblin King.
On the other hand, Issei was watching from afar as he could tell it won't be easy to take Alderp down.

"He's got power and durability, but even if I used Darkness, I couldn't even beat him because of his power. How am I supposed to beat this guy?" Issei asked himself as he looked at both Darkness and Kali while asking himself who he needed to take over until he realized that he's relied on Darkness for most of the dungeon but was able to learn facing the Goblin Rider and Kali when she was Rookie Killer, that he was weak without a good defense.
Issei clenched his teeth as he hated himself for his weaknesses before clenching his fists. "It's time I stop hiding behind others and start getting stronger my way," Issei said as his tentacles began to ready themselves as if they responded to his will before he launched himself off the wall and used Aqua Jet to slam into Alderp's arm, which bruised him a bit until Issei felt a strike hit his tiny body as he flew back and landed in Kali's arms.
Warning! You've lost 1,000 of your HP from the Kings Axe and suffer the Bleed effect. You will have the Bleed effect for 60 seconds.
Issei panted heavily as his tentacles struggled to move as he was losing blood quickly. Tali gasped at her master, and she tried to help him.
"Master! Take my body and use me to heal yourself. Hurry!" Kali said frantically as she tried to put Issei on her head, but Issei stopped her.
"No. I don't always want to rely on using others to fight for me. If I want to get stronger, I must also fight." Issei said as he began to lose his footing again until Kali caught him and shook her head as she cradled his body.
"C-Come on Master. Don't be silly. Y-You won't die. Y-You can't die before we have gotten to know each other. I-I want to learn more about humans so..." Kali stuttered as she felt Issei's life leave his body until Kali cried tears that made Darkness and Alderp stop their battle as Darkness's eyes were shocked to see Issei was dead before what happened next frightened her as Kali looked down and placed Issei gently on the ground before a purple aura exploded from her body.
Darkness was shocked to feel such power from a monster until Kali turned around and slowly gave into her beast side as she transformed into a massive Hell Cat; her eyes burned an amber-like fire out for vengeance. Her human form was gone as she was now a 25-foot-tall Hell Cat with amber eyes, massive claws that could tear into the strongest armor, and deadly teeth so sharp they could bite through the body of others so easily.
Kali growled at Alderp as she spoke to him. "You have taken away my mate, so now I shall take away your pathetic life from his world and burn your soul in the pits of HELL!"
Kali roared as she charged at Alderp, with rage leading her as the Goblin King felt fear enter his heart as he looked into the eyes of a monster out of his life.
"Stay back!" Alderp shouted as the two began to fight while Darkness moved to Issei's body before taking her Eris Cult necklace and praying to her goddess.
"Goddess of Luck and Fortune Eris. Please return Issei to me. I need him because he is my friend. Please don't let him leave me." Darkness prayed as she was hoping that her Goddess heard her cry, which led to a predicament Eris was in right now.
Limbo
Eris looked at the soul of Issei Hyoudou. It was going to try and send him to Heaven until she looked at Darkness crying over his body while Kali was tearing into Alderp, not caring for herself, which made Eris worried about her decision until a familiar presence entered the room.
"Please. Let the boy return. This world needs him; otherwise, this world shall fall." The Demon King said as Eris looked at the man she despised with all of her being before looking into the boy's past and could see that he was a kind soul but a lonely one that became a pervert to fill that hole in his heart.
"Are you serious about this?"
"I am."
"Know that I do hate you."
"I know, but I also know your not the kind of person to harm a soul that has done no wrong. You've even seen that Darkness has grown a liking to Issei despite knowing him for only a day, so let him return. Let him help our world."
Eris looked at this before sighing as she opened a portal and sent Issei back to the world.
"Okay. If you're sure about him, I'll help but know that I'll decide if he's trustworthy." Eris said as the Demon King thanked the Goddess before leaving her alone; she chuckled.
"How amusing. I agreed with the Demon King of all people for the first time." Eris said as she looked at Issei before asking herself.
"But what will this person become? A protector of this world or an enemy to the Gods?"

Darkness was still praying while Kali kept clawing at Alderp in a rage until Darkness saw a light appear on Issei's body as his body began to glow with a turquoise-like color. This surprised the Crusader as she backed away to see Issei's wounds stitch themselves back together; before Issei's eyes opened up, he looked at his aura and saw the screen show him something he wasn't expecting.
You have been revived by the Goddess of Luck and Fortune. Thus allowing the item the Demon Lord gave you.
The screen displayed a tiny water droplet with pure water and some unique powers that Issei could feel from the screen until the item's description was shown before him.
Legendary Mystic Water Droplet: Allows aquatic creatures to gain an incredible boost of power that doubles all stats for the next five minutes.
Issei felt his power increase as Darkness was in awe of this before she knew they had to finish the battle as soon as possible.
"Issei. Combine with me, and let us end this. Together." Darkness said as Issei nodded as he took over Darkness's body, but this time both eyes were shown as they were in unison together instead of just Issei taking the wheel.
'Thank you, Darkness, for letting me fight with you.'
"Heh. You may be a monster, but your soul is human. And I trust you more than others, so let's take down this corrupt noble."
'I'm all for it! This is our chance to take it to the limit!'
Darkness and Issei both smirked as they raised Darkness's sword and her spare one before a holy aura began to radiate off the two blades, forming an aura around their user. The aura was a mixture of both the color gold and turquoise.
"This feeling...This is the feeling of working with Darkness instead." Issei said before looking at Alderp and Kali before the two got into position. Darkness smiled as she nodded in agreement with Issei. "Let's do this, partner." Darkness said before the two kicked the ground as they charged at Alderp, who hadn't noticed the power yet since he was fighting Kali.
"Kali! Move out of the way!" Both Darkness and Issei shouted as Kali moved out of the way in time for Issei and Darkness to stab Alderp in the heart, causing him to roar in pain until the aura surrounding the two exploded as both Issei Darkness shouted.
"Take this. DIVINE JUDGEMENT !"
Alderp roared in pain until his body collapsed on the ground, allowing Issei and Darkness to relax as they knew they had won the battle.
"M-Master? A-Are you still alive?" Kali asked as she walked near the two before Issei left Darkness and wrapped himself around Kali before nodding.
"Yes, Kali. I'm back. I'm sorry for worrying you. Can you forgive me?" Issei asked as Kali cried tears of joy before hugging Issei into her chest, which made Issei happy, but he was delighted now that Kali wasn't angry anymore. Darkness joined the hug before the two let Issei go; he began to take the fairy boss and looked at her body before the fairy spoke to him.
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't want to be part of this cult but-." The fairy said before Issei hugged her and nodded.
"I understand. May I consume you? I can at least allow you to find peace in death." Issei said as the fairy cried but nodded as she wanted to be free of this life, so Issei consumed her and said a small prayer for the fairy so that her soul may rest in peace.
Issei was about to ask what they would do with Alderp's Goblin form until he exploded into a bright light as three spheres appeared in place and went into all three of them. Issei, Darkness, and Kali felt power flow into their bodies as the screen appeared before Issei.
Congratulations! You have completed the Goblin Cave Dungeon, and you have leveled up all three. Issei Hyoudou leveled up to Level 20. Darkness leveled up to Level 30. And Kali has leveled up to Level 15.
Rewards for completing the Dungeon: 50,000 Eris coins. The Goblin Kings Axe. Another person can now use the Dungeon.
Issei was surprised by this before Kali walked over to the axe and picked it up quite quickly before it shrunk down to her size, which amazed Issei before he checked Kali's stats since he never did it before until now.

'So Kali excels in both speed and strength but doesn't have much endurance, which is normal for most Beastkin since they need armor to take some of the heavier attacks so they can use their claws and fangs to kill their enemies.' Issei said before he looked at a window that popped up.
Issei Hyoudou. Would you like to claim the dungeon as your own? Doing so will allow you to modify and change the dungeon to your liking.
Also, you have gained a new skill from Consume due to consuming the Fairy Boss.
Monster Boost: Allows the user to double the stats of any person that is in the party of Issei Hyoudou. Unfortunately, users cannot use it alone without possessing a living being.
Issei was amazed by this before walking towards the throne and sitting on it before a small crown appeared on his head.
Congratulations! You are now the boss of this Dungeon. You may rename the dungeon to what you desire, increase the floors of the dungeon, add traps, monsters, and more!
Issei smiled at this before realizing his weaknesses. Throughout the dungeon, he learned that he couldn't be as strong as more powerful monsters even by increasing his stats with his attribute points. This means he has to evolve or find a strong human to use as a human disguise to blend in easier.
His stats would be vital, but he has limitations, such as being unable to fight well on land despite being amphibious, thanks to the King Toad. He is fast in the water and gained powerful strength from the Mystic Water. Still, it was only a temporary change, which meant if he wanted to become stronger, he had to defeat the Kraken and learn more about using the Mystic Water to help him get even stronger.
Darkness was looking at her stats and pondered if she should use her points to max out her defenses but then pondered about increasing her strength or speed since she knew that, as a Crusader, she was awful with a blade. Still, thanks to Issei and Masochistic Strengthening, she could hit her enemies much more manageable. Eventually, she used her points to increase her speed so she wouldn't be too slow to attack her foes.
On the other hand, Kali was looking at her master and vowed to get strong enough so that Issei wouldn't die because of his weaknesses. She would help him become stronger and grow closer to him before they mate and have children. The idea made Kali's tail swish in joy as she looked forward to the day the two would become one in body and spirit.
Yep, it was a good time for all three of them. An unlikely bunch has been formed, and they'll take the world by storm.
"So you are going to become the leader of this dungeon?" Darkness asked as she lay on the ground next to Issei, as he nodded in reply.
"Yes. I need to train even harder now since I realize I can't always rely on taking over you or Kali. After all, I'm a glass cannon. I'm fast but don't have power like you two, so I want to train even more and become stronger so I don't make you or Kali worry about me because I was arrogant in my skills." Issei said as he explained that he planned to take on the Kraken, but he would need a lot more training if he ever wanted to take it down.
"The Kraken is the strongest monster here in the forest, and its lake is very close to my dungeon, which is why I want to not only prove to myself that I can get stronger but also to learn more about the Mystic Water if I can use it to not only help my comrades but possibly reverse this spell that the cult uses to convert humans to monsters," Issei said as Darkness smiled before taking Issei in her arms and enjoyed the feeling of hugging him.
"Then consider me an official member of your party. I won't mind staying out here and helping you, Issei. Plus, I plan to report this Diablo Cult to the guild so they can inform the others, but I'm not sure how many there are." Darkness said as she was concerned about this new cult before Issei patted her head.
"Well, be ready for them," Issei said as he fell asleep next to Darkness while Kali smiled at the two before going out to train and get used to her new weapon, hoping better to serve her master from the evil of this world.
"Hm. So, this is the one that the Demon King chose to reincarnate? Interesting choice since he's different from the other fools my sisters have reincarnated into our world." A soft voice said as the figure was revealed to be a woman. Her physical appearance made her look like she was in her early twenties. Her skin was pale and smooth, and her brown hair went down to the bottom of her neck with one bang frame over her right eye. Lips red like ruby and looked delicate were something any man or woman would want to kiss. Her eyes looked bestial, as if she was a wolf hiding in sheep's clothing, while the color of her eyes was blood red with slitted irises instead of pupils.
She wore a red shirt with sleeves reaching just after her elbow, topped off by a black cardigan. Her bottom was covered in brown mundane jeans and shoes. Overall she looked like an ordinary beautiful girl. Still, it's only a disguise to hide her proper form since she only uses her true form in battle, while her temporary human-like form was only to please the cultists that follow her without any resistance.
"Humans are truly dumb creatures. They take any chance for fame, glory, power, money, or anything to their benefit while abandoning their so-called morals and ideals so they can live a good life without any real work. My sisters may not care for me since they are too caught in their world, but once my cult summons me, the world will truly be a land for monsters to thrive and grow while Humans will fall under my rule and learn to respect but fear us." The woman said as she smiled at the idea of burning the idiots who followed her foolish sisters and the 'brave adventurers' who think they are some great heroes in a fairy tale.
"When I become the world's ruler, there won't be such a thing as fairy tales. Now let's begin." The woman said, ready to show the world what she could do.

Scene!
This Issei had only one friend, Irina. When Irina moves away, Issei is unable to make any other friends, so he becomes a loner that acts like a pervert but isn't as big of a pervert as he was in the show since he only wants to be seen and not forgotten or being invisible to the eyes of others except for his parents.
Issei in the Konosuba world will be neutral. He won't be a 'good guy' or a 'final boss' but be on the sidelines while getting stronger in his new Jellyfish form. Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and others will appear in the show as is, but I'll be trying to expand the world of the Konosuba one, thanks to the game and some of the other monsters.
This story is a side project when I'm stuck or trying to develop some ideas for my current stories.
Oh, and I was thinking of three choices for Issei's 'human' form.
1. The Useless Goddess Aqua. I thought she would be a good choice since Issei could better use her abilities as an Arch Priest and be able to do better than harm. Also, using the Holy Magic will help Issei know how to use more advanced water magic.
2. The Wannabe Protagonist Mitsurugi Kyouya. I thought since Issei would be able to obtain the sword Gram and the two girls who Issei could train to assist him in the world better.
3. A random person from the world for Issei to use as his human form when not possessing Darkness.
