Chapter 5

Beginners Town

"Are you sure you don't want to possess me, Issei? I don't mind it at all. Ehehe." Darkness said with a lewd expression as she couldn't help but imagine the tentacles wrapping around her body and taking over her mind until Issei sighed at the Masochistic Crusader.

"If it makes you feel better, I want to ask you for assistance with another tentacle creature; however, I want to discuss it with you after your promotion exam. Will that work?" Issei asked as Darkness smiled and nodded before heading towards the Beginners Town entrance.

"Ah. Lady Darkness, may we ask who this is?" One of the guards asked as they looked at Issei's human form in shock due to his hairstyle, clothing, and new physical appearance.

"Oh, this is-"

"I can speak for myself, but thank you, Darkness," Issei said as he smiled at the guards. "My name is Hikaru. It's a pleasure to meet you and your city. I came here to register for the Adventurers Guild to protect the people, given the accidents that have happened in the past few weeks."

Issei said as he used his new feminine form to charm the guards, touched by the words of the soon-to-be adventurer, before letting them enter without any issues.

This shocked Darkness as she waited until they passed the guards before speaking to him.

"How did you do that?" Darkness asked as Issei explained.

"It's simple. Soldiers respect those who come during dire times, and after telling me about the situation that happened to the Crimson Demon Village and the other Demon Generals, an opportunity to become an adventurer to help the people better? How can a loyal guard not be touched by a story like that?" Issei said with a toothy grin on her face as Darkness was surprised and in awe of the monster's skills before they headed to the Adventurers Guild to see that the survivors of the Crimson Demon Village had been settling down into their new jobs and life in the city.

Issei looked to see that there was a flyer for a Succubus Cafe, which made him blush at the idea of being on top of a beautiful Succubus until Darkness led him towards the guild for Issei to see that there were not so many adventurers.

"Woah. Why is this place so...empty?" Issei asked as Darkness pointed to the Quest Board.

"It's actually due to the Quest Board being filled with few high-level quests that many of the adventurers are not qualified for due to their inexperience to deal with them and also due to the Demon Generals of the Diablo Cult causing so much chaos and destruction in their path." Darkness explained as Issei looked at the quests and saw that each had their rank to show the difficulty level.

Unfortunately, Issei couldn't read them as Darkness ushered Issei over to the front desk. The Crusader introduced Issei to Luna, who was beautiful in the jellyfish's eyes as he couldn't help but fall for the receptionist's personality and appearance.

"...Beautiful," Issei muttered, but Luna merely giggled as she heard this and thanked him for the compliment before telling Darkness to go to the primary office so she could begin the Promotion Exam.

The two then headed towards the office as Issei was surprised by the internal size of the guild and pondered what was preventing so many quests from coming in. 'Is it the Diablo Cult that's doing this or something else entirely?'

His questions were interrupted as Issei looked to see the Goddess Eris in the office along with the city's new governor, Alexei Barnes Balter. From what he had learned about the governor from the memories of Aqua, the boy was an adopted commoner who was merely a foil to Alderp's issues. Still, despite not knowing his father's true intentions, Alexei wished to help the people. Hence, he was able to govern the city in times of crisis and assist in distributing items to help people experiencing poverty. He argued against his father's harsher policies when the fat man was alive.

And so, ever since Alexei had become the official governor of the city, he's been using all of his power and authority to help the people and demons within it have a better life.

"Ah, you must be the one that Darkness told us about. Your name is Issei, correct?" Alexei asked as Issei nodded in reply before sitting next to Darkness in his human form.

"Yes, sir. I'm honored to be here and would like to register as an adventurer to help the kingdom better, and I also have a favor to ask of you. If you don't mind, that is." Issei asked as Alexei chuckled at the question before replying to him.

"Not at all. I do wish to speak to you after the Promotion Exam." Alexei said as Eris then coughed into her hand, alerting the governor to get it started. "Ah, yes. Well then, let's begin."

Alexei then began to go over the contents of the missions that Darkness went on and asked for the truth, which the Crusader gave as he was glad to see that an adventurer wasn't stroking their ego.

"So you and Issei worked together to take down my father when you learned he was part of the Diablo Cult?" Alexei asked as Darkness nodded in reply. She then explained that she and Issei were able to deal the final blow as she brought him back to life thanks to Eris's Divine Intervention and Blessing.

This made Eris blush in embarrassment as she was flattered by Darkness's comments since she wasn't used to such praise, given that she's been an errand girl to Aqua for most of her life. Still, now that Issei Hyoudou has taken her role as the new God/dess of Water, she'll probably be getting more positive feedback from Issei, given that technically he is her superior. Still, Issei doesn't have to know about that.

Not yet, at least.

Alexei smiled as he nodded and jotted down more notes before concluding the exam.

"Well, after hearing about your experience and the mission, I will say that while I am disappointed in my father for choosing to side with the Diablo Cult, nonetheless, I'm thankful for what you've done for me and this town," Alexei said as he then took Darkness's Adventurer card and placed a unique stamp on it as her rank changed from D to C rank.

"Congratulations, Darkness. We hope you continue better to protect this kingdom from the Diablo Cult and such." Alexei said as Darkness was grateful to have passed the exam before Eris walked towards Eris and smiled at her.

"As for me, Darkness, due to your faithfulness and being a strong follower of my cult, I have decided to give you a special blessing," Eris said as she then took the Adventurer card and muttered a few words as the card glowed with a golden light which surprised the members of the room until the light faded away for Darkness to see that her class changed from a Crusader to a new one.

"I'm...a Paladin?!" Darkness said in a combination of shock and joy as Eris smiled and nodded.

"Yes. This is your special blessing, and this class allows you to have your incredible defense stats and will now allow you to become an even better swordswoman." Eris explained as Darkness looked at her new form and saw that her armor did look the same as she could feel its new power before seeing her sword radiate a golden aura while she wielded a shield now that was as tall as her body.

"Incredible. Thank you, Lady Eris." Darkness said in gratitude as Eris smiled in reply.

"You are very welcome, Darkness," Eris said before looking at Issei. "Now, since you wish to become an adventurer, you'll have to take the registration exam to pass. Normally, we would allow you to face one does the higher-ranked adventurers, but since they couldn't be here, you'll be facing a Demon General. Does that work for you?"

Issei smiled as he nodded in reply. "Of course. I wanted to ask if I could meet with both Demon Generals to speak with them."

Alexei pondered this before nodding as he was hoping this would happen. "Of course. The two are here, so you can fight them so we can see how strong you are."

Issei was excited about facing two Demon Generals to test his powers and clash with them to see how far he's come since his first day.

Darkness was so happy for her friend as she led Issei to the backyard where the arena was as Verdia, the Dullahan, was training some rookies, but they failed even to take down the former Demon General. After dealing with the rookie warriors, Verdia looked toward Issei and was surprised by his appearance.

"You there!" Verdia called out as he pointed his sword to Issei. "Why do you disguise yourself as a human? Are you ashamed to be seen as a monster? Do not hide who you are, fellow monster. I wish to face you at your best!"

Issei was surprised that the Dullahan could see through his disguise before looking at Eris and Alexei, who didn't seem fazed by this fact, so Issei transformed into his jellyfish form.

"I have gone through an evolution, so now I have two forms I can transform into. My jellyfish form that you see before you." Issei said as he then turned into his Goddess form. "And my human form, I didn't mean any offense to you or the one known as Wiz, but this is my first time in a human town without taking over Darkness, so I was a bit concerned about the people's approval, especially when there has been a lot of chaos and destruction lately."

Verdia nodded as he walked over to the disguised monster and patted his head, making Issei chuckle as though it reminded him of his father doing this to him back when he was a human.

"It is no problem, little one. I understand since I was like you as a human before I became a Dullahan." Verdia said as he explained how he was a great knight in the land before he died and was reborn as an undead, but with his resurrection. He still upheld the knights' code he followed while admiring beautiful women on the side, something Issei could relate to.

Thus the two began a respect for each other in the name of admiring beautiful women.

Darkness and Eris tilted their heads, confused by the two, until Alexei hid his laughter, and Eris asked the young governor.

"Uh, what is happening between the two of them? They look like they have become friends now." Eris asked as Issei and Verdia chatted as the governed chuckled before replying to the two women.

"It's a guy thing," Alexei said as he walked over to Issei and spoke to him.

"Apologies for interrupting, but we would like to begin the test," Alexei said as Issei nodded in reply; he and Verdia got ready for combat as the knight threw his head into the air.

"BEGIN!" Alexei shouted as Verdias body rushed towards Issei the jellyfish used his leaping ability to jump high into the air as he looked at the helmet in interest.

"Dullahans rely on their heads to see well, so you threw it in their air to take me by surprise, right?" Issei asked as Verdia was shocked by the demon figuring him out before Issei grabbed the helmet and used his Tentacle Drill to make his attack even stronger as he pierced through the sword of Verdia and blasted the undead body into the wall of the guild.

The trio was surprised by Issei defeating the Dullahan so quickly before Issei handed the head back to the body and used Cleanse to heal the Dullahan, who was surprised to see a Holy Magic work its wonders on his body.

"Don't get me wrong. You are strong, but I trained yesterday to get used to my new body and powers." Issei said as he looked at his hair, tentacles swishing in the air as if they wanted to fight again until Issei calmed them down. "I'm still working on getting used to this new body, but hopefully, I'll better understand it as I get stronger."

Verdia was shocked at the boy's explanation of his abilities before laughing heartily at the young man and patting his back as the two laughed. Eris and Darkness were surprised by this before Alexei declared Issei, the victor and brought him back to the guild desk so they could register him as a member.

"Given your performance, we were able to see that you are skilled in using your abilities but not so much your power, so we'll have to see, given your stats," Alexei said as he had an orb on his desk with a card underneath it.

"This is how adventurers get their cards made?"

"Correct. This will scan your soul and stats to see where you stand. It's a simple process since all you have to do is place your hand on top of it." Alexei said as Issei nodded and touched it before seeing the orb glow brightly until the laser began to etch the results on his card.

'Judging by what Issei told me, I'll be he's a Rank C adventurer like me; that way, we can continue adventuring together and taking on many monsters. Hehehehe.' Darkness said until she began to chuckle lewdly as she was imagining the possibilities of her future adventures with Issei.

Eris was also curious as she could tell that Issei had unlimited Magic and Luck, given that she could see his stats. So, she was likely around C Rank or a D Ranked adventurer, given his impressive stats that excelled even the average adventurers in Beginners Town.

"And your stats show that you excel in magic and luck, but your speed is much higher than your other stats," Alexei said as the orb also placed his rank on the card. "And with that, your rank is...Rank C-. You're stronger than most adventurers, but given your stats, you are among the top fifty strongest adventurers."

Issei was surprised by this as he thanked Alexei for the opportunity to become an adventurer before Darkness and said they should celebrate by going on a quest for fun. Still, Issei stopped her as he wanted to ask for a favor.

"Excuse me but mind if I ask for a favor," Issei said as Alexei was curious about the favor before allowing Issei to explain it. Alexei heard about it and pondered this before nodding.

"Of course. I can do that, but are you sure you want to do this? If so, then that means adventurers would scout your home." Alexei asked as he was curious about the favor until Issei nodded.

"I'm aware of that; however, I would like to gain more experience and be able to fight stronger opponents so I can be prepared for stronger enemies and face them along with my clan," Issei said as he wanted to help both his group but also himself to assist his friends that he's made here.

Alexei looked at Issei and smiled. "Very well then. I'll make the request. This will be interesting to see."

Issei thanked Alexei as he was told he could leave the room while missing a smirk on the governor's face.

"And who knows, this will weed out the lazy adventurers and the competent ones," Alexei said as he began to make the quest he would enjoy seeing the results of.

"So what was the favor you asked of the Governor, Issei?" Darkness asked since she was curious about the favor until Issei chuckled.

"Ah, Ah. No spoilers." Issei said with a mischievous laugh which made Darkness blush as her Masochistic side wanted to know since she thought it was a quest or something that Issei could use his tentacles on her for.

What? Old habits are hard to eliminate, even if you gained a new Class.

Issei and Darkness thanked Eris before the Goddess of Luck leaned into Issei's ear and whispered to him.

"I know who you are and what happened to Aqua," Eris said as Issei was surprised by this before the Goddess calmed him. "Don't worry, my sisters and I aren't mad. Many want to speak to you someday, but I wanted to thank you personally."

Eris said as she was happy that this boy wasn't abusing his new powers and form and grateful that he was friends with Darkness since the Goddess was aware of Darkness's skills and her status as a noble but was glad that Issei enjoyed speaking to Darkness as a friend.

The Goddess of Luck smiled as she said farewells to the duo before returning to Heaven as Issei and Darkness looked at the quest board.

"I know there aren't many quests due to the destroyed Crimson Demon Village, but I figured there would be some quests that you might enjoy." Darkness said as Issei was curious about the quests as he read the board.

Only four quests were available, all between D to C rank Quests.

Quest 1: Rank C. Escorting the Princess to Axel. Reward and details are explained at the front desk.

Quest 2: Rank E. Befriend a Crimson Demon looking for friends and willing to join a party before going on an epic adventure.

"Befriending a Crimson Demon? That sounds like a good quest, but why is it a Rank E?" Issei asked, curious about the Crimson Demon who wanted to join a party.

Luna saw that one and hissed at that Quest before ushering the duo over to her. "I should warn you about this girl. She's a lovely girl, but the issue is that she's a shy and clumsy girl who's great with Magic but not so good with social interactions. She puts that quest on the board in hopes someone will be her friend and go on an adventure with her so she can be part of the party, but sadly, she's used by others and only gets very little from the party she's with. If you do go on a quest with her, please accept her. She can be a tremendous help on the journey and with the other generals you'll face soon."

Luna said before pointing to a girl that ran towards Issei and Darkness after she saw the quest paper in his hands. Her eyes became stars as tears formed under her eyes as she cried happily and hugged Issei, which put him in an awkward position until he gently patted her back and looked at Luna for help until she nodded and asked the crying girl.

"Want to introduce yourself YunYun, before you soak his clothes in tears?"

"O-Oh! Sorry! Sorry!" The girl, now named YunYun, straightened herself out before Issei nearly had a nosebleed and quickly covered his face with his hand.

"U-Um, YunYun was it?"

"Yup! My name is Yun Yun; it's nice to meet you!" Issei cleared his throat with his free hand.

"Do you mind telling me why your shirt is so... revealing?"

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

Issei looked at her outfit and asked. "You're a Caster, right? So why are you wearing such revealing clothes?"

Yun Yun looked at her outfit in confusion and replied. "These are my normal clothes. They were my mother's gifts, and I heard this is a way to make friends." She said while poking her fingers until Issei patted her back.

"I'd be more than happy to join you; if you want, we could work together as a team. Sounds great, no?"

YunYun's eyes began to turn glossy. "Y-You mean it?"

Issei could see the hidden sorrow behind YunYun's eyes; this made him clench his fist. 'To use such a kind woman like YunYun because of her beauty and magic prowess... unforgivable...'

"Of course. Consider us partners YunYun." Issei said as YunYun had tears on the side of her eyes as she cheered should before hugging him again.

"Oh, thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She yelled while crying tears of joy.

"Uh, thank you too, but can you please get up? I have tear stains on my shirt."

"Ah! I'm so sorry!"

Issei chuckled lightly as he replied to her. "It's alright, it'll dry. Now, I suppose that's a mention of success."

Luna and Darkness couldn't help but smile as they saw Issei accept the girl into their party, and the Paladin didn't mind since she liked the girl as well.

'Issei truly is a kind soul. I'm glad I got to meet him.' Darkness said as Luna then began to speak to Issei.

"Then I suppose I'll be taking that thank you. Since YunYun didn't put any money into this mission, consider your new party member a reward." Luna said as Issei smiled and nodded in reply. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Yun Yun smiled. Happily, Issei then looked at the other missions on the board. "Alright, let's see the next two."

Luna saw this and began to explain the last two. "The last two missions are a Normal Quest and a Wanted Quest. The difference is that the guild accepts three different types of quests."

Luna said as she explained that Normal Quests are expedition missions and hunting down monsters, like regular quests in a guild. Darkness loved those missions, mostly so she could get beat up by the monsters of the areas and fulfill her lustful desires.

Wanted Quests were outlaw missions with many enemies in the world that were well known across the kingdom and other places. The guild offered a reward for capturing the person, but they were ranked due to their crimes, skills, and threat level.

And finally, Personal Quests that individuals can put on the board either free of charge or if it had to do with another party asking others for assistance.

Issei was surprised by this as he looked at the last two quests on the board.

Quest 3: Normal Mission. Rank C. Investigate the Underground Research Facility Ruins.

It was created by a brilliant scientist who passed away many years ago. The people of Belzerg are unaware of what wealth and power lay within its ruins, so the guild is asking any adventurers to investigate the ruins and locate any valuable artifacts or information that can be used to better Belzerg and the people.

Rewards are that any treasure the adventurers find will be split in half so the kingdom can use the glory to help the people while the other half goes to the party.

"Huh. This seems like a good quest that's beneficial for both parties." Issei recalled that the guild always takes a share to assist the kingdom and the people. Usually, he wouldn't believe such a thing in this world, but after meeting Alexei, the jellyfish could tell that the governor had good intentions for the country.

Darkness was interested in exploring the ruins to see if monsters could destroy her armor and beat her with their massive weapons and power.

YunYun was excited about this one since she could see how this adventure would allow her to show her skills to her teammates and prove that she was a valuable comrade.

Quest 4: Wanted Mission. Rank A

Name: Moe Kaen

A.K.A: The Frenzied Fire-Witch. Pyromaniac. Fall Maiden. And Demoness from Hell.

Bio: Moe is obsessed with two things and two things only. Things she finds cute, by her somewhat twisted standards, and (most notably) fire. Her title as The Frenzied Fire-Witch is well earned, mainly because of her pyromania and use of a particular type of Fire-Magic—the Frenzied Flames of Ifrit.

Description: In terms of appearance, a close approximation of Moe's appearance would be Cinder Fall from RWBY, albeit with more than a few burn scars on her body (some of which were self-inflicted while touching herself), the most notable ones stretching from her lower face across her body and chest down to her buttocks.

Crimes: 225 counts of Arson, such as burning a small part of the Great Tree in Gaia's domain.

Two hundred five counts of Destruction of Property in Belzerg, given that many homes are now reinforced with fire protection magic to prevent such destruction.

Twenty counts for Indecent Exposure due to her clothes being caught on fire and destroyed.

One count of littering due to Moe wanting to warm herself up but burning a garbage can.

"Holy shit. How has she gotten away so often to get all these crimes?" Issei asked as Luna groaned in response.

"Too many. Moe is a troublesome villain who's not only a pyromaniac but also a master thief who specializes in burning people with her flames. She can manipulate and summon fire, but one thing that stood out is that she seemed obsessed with this lighter she had on her." Luna explained as YunYun helped in the explanation.

"I remember that! Moe was so obsessed with it that she seemed to treat it as if it was alive. From what one of my old parties got out of her was that Moe was homeless and stole only to survive. Moe said she only found comfort in the warmth of fires that she started. She loved the warmth of Fire so much that she even bathed in flames and wished to become one with the fire." YunYun explained as Issei was surprised by this person.

"What happened to her then?"

"According to what she told me, she said she was trying to warm up one winter back in her homeland until she was caught in a massive explosion that killed her," YunYun said as Issei then grabbed his head as he saw a memory of Moe shivering in the cold streets of Japan as she tried to start a fire.

Unfortunately for her, Moe was attempting to start a small fire for warmth before it went very wrong, resulting in both Moe and the nearby gas station being consumed by the flames.

In other words… KA-BOOM!

'Woah. W-What was that?' Issei asked himself as he felt Darkness shaking his arm.

"Issei, are you okay? You just collapsed, and I was worried you were hurt." Darkness said as Issei reassured her that he was fine.

'It felt like I was looking at a memory. If it was a memory, then does that mean it was something that Aqua did when she was alive and still in charge of souls?' Issei pondered as he then decided on the expedition of the ruins before they planned to do the mission tomorrow morning so they could make preparations and get the necessary supplies.

Darkness was so excited that she offered to let Issei and YunYun stay at the mansion to get to know each other more. Issei didn't seem to mind, as he had told Kali yesterday that he might remain at Lalatina's home the next day should there be some issues with the exam.

The trio was about to leave for the mansion when Issei felt someone stare at him intensely before looked around to see who was looking at him and saw a brown-haired and green-eyed guy wearing a tracksuit, which surprised Issei since he's never seen that kind of outfit on another person before, sitting with a brown haired and red-eyed girl wearing a mage outfit of sorts.

Issei tilted his head at them before walking towards the duo and asking the guy a question.

"Uh, can I help you?" Issei asked as the guy continued to stare at him before Issei snapped his fingers in front of the guy's face to see that he freaked out at a close distance before trying to make himself look cool.

"Oh, hey there. I'm happy to meet you. Names Kazuma, an experienced adventurer, so know that if you need anything, ask." The guy asked in a fake suave manner which made Issei shiver in disgust and fear of the guy before the jellyfish decided to nip the bud.

"Thank you, but I want to get back to my party. I only came over because I felt someone was staring at me for some reason." Issei said as he waved goodbye before breaking the fantasy the shut-in had in his tiny brain. "Oh, and by the way, I'm a boy."

Issei said as he walked out of the mansion for a short while before hearing the shut-in's mind shatter as he yelled in the air in shock at the idea of having a woman in his party turn out to be a boy.

Still, the trio headed towards the Dustiness Mansion as they prepared to get to know each other and train for the evening.

However, Issei still wanted to inform Kali and the rest of the team about the criminal Moe so they could be prepared for her, so Issei decided to test his new skill as a Dungeon Master.

'Message.' Issei said as he walked into a bathroom at the Dustiness Mansion.

{Is something wrong, master?} Kali asked as Issei explained the situation to her.

'There may be a criminal within the forest, and I wanted to give you the guild's information on her. You and the others should be able to take her down if she ever went near the dungeon, but it's better to be over-prepared than underprepared.' Issei said as Kali nodded in agreement before Issei relayed the information that he could obtain from the wanted quest.

{I will let the others know. So this means that you're an adventurer?}

'Correct, and I'm going on a quest tomorrow to some abandoned ruins made by a scientist, so I'll be able to better help the dungeon by getting us some finances. Oh, and I left you guys a gift about a quest on the board that'll allow you to test your skills and show me how much you've improved.' Issei said as he told Kali of the favor that he asked the city governor to post on the board. Kali smirked as she enjoyed this message, as her master told her what it was until the message ended.

{Oh yes, master. We'll enjoy the gift very much. Have a good night, and we hope to see you tomorrow after your quest.}

'Thank you. Stay safe as well.' Issei said as he ended the transmission before going out to the training arena in the noble's backyard to see that they were sparring until Issei decided to get in on the fun.

After all, sometimes you need a little self-indulgence.

Later...

"So you're a Demon Jellyfish?" YunYun asked as Issei nodded in reply as he explained that he might look human. Still, he was a kind monster which didn't bother YunYun since she was glad to have two amazing friends who cared for her after she had explained that the Crimson Demon had never had any real friends before until now.

"Don't worry YunYun; you can count on us to be there for you. Having one or two real friends with you is nice, and I heard about your father's death. I'm sorry." Issei said as he was told of the many casualties in the Crimson Demon Village YunYun looked a bit depressed before shaking it off.

"It's fine. I got over it because I was an outcast there most of the time, but it was still my home, so..." YunYun said before she was brought into Issei's arms as he placed her head on his lap.

YunYun was surprised by this before Issei began to rub her head gently, which made YunYun smile in comfort as she slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep on the comfortable pillow.

Issei smiled at the girl, and due to him being a demon, he could see that the poor girl had been depressed for a long time and never knew what having real friends was like, so in a way, YunYun reminded Issei of when Irina moved away before he met Matsuda and Motohama.

Darkness blushed at the image before feeling slightly left out, which turned her on a little but made her jealous of the Crimson Demon.

'Mm! Oh, this feeling of being left out of such a comfortable position turns me on by this demon. Mm! I love this feeling, but I also feel left out. Ah!' Darkness internally squealed as she enjoyed the moment until Issei took Darkness's head and put it on his left shoulder before comforting the girl. She began to get lulled to sleep before Issei slowly used his tentacle hair to help him lay down on the bed. He also used to move Darkness and YunYun onto the bed. Still, before he could leave the two women to rest, both women pulled his body into a tug of war as YunYun pulled Issei's face closer to bust while Darkness pulled the tentacles on her to wrap around her even more.

Issei couldn't help but let out a silent chuckle as he used more tentacles to satisfy Darknesses dreams while he snuggled next to YunYun, which made the girl sigh of relief, knowing she wasn't alone.

All in all, the three of them slept well that night, and tomorrow, they'll be ready to take down a quest.

Now I know some were looking forward to the Kraken battle. Still, I wanted Issei to interact with the people of Beginners Town and the remaining Demon Generals, so Issei will meet Wiz after the Quest while gaining more skills.

As for the dungeon, let's say the residents will have fun when they take down the unfortunate adventurers that'll knock on their door before suffering defeat. Hehe.
