Chapter Two - Love and Peace

The cafe was quiet, as there were few customers at that time of day. The noontime crowd that sat in the outdoors area was long gone and the evening crowd was set to arrive soon, but it would still be a little while before they made their appearance.
Both women were in a quiet corner indoors. However, if they did not relocate soon, the corner they occupied would not be quiet for long.
Small talk over some tea had moved to more interesting talk leading to more suggestive quiet talk progressing to very suggestive murmuring. Sitting across from each other had also progressed to caressing each other's legs with their own legs to sitting beside each other caressing each other's thighs. All under the table of course. It was obvious they desired each other.
It was perfectly normal.
They were friends, after all.
Friends made sure their friends were happy.
Neither had noticed the woman that entered the cafe almost immediately behind them. Neither had noticed that said woman had shown the staff something on the small video screen of a tablet. Neither had noticed that said woman was now their server while the staff was occupied elsewhere doing things that would make Issei's nose bleed, were he the type of person who did that sort of thing.
Neither were noticing said woman heading their way with refills for their drinks. They did notice when she set the tray down on their table. Neither was surprised or embarrassed when she straightened back up to ask if they needed anything else.
As far as the woman was concerned, this was perfect. No shame. No embarrassment. Not even a hint of surprise or concern.
They were ready.
So when both shook their heads and murmured something about needing to leave soon, she calmly pulled out her tablet as if to take payment. While both girls opened their purses to get their payment out, she activated the tablet, put her finger onto the back of it and softly murmured a spell. Then she held it out towards them and asked, "Is this correct?"
When they looked at the spiral that was on the screen, both devils tried to resist.
"Wha…" said Xenovia before her eyes went blank. Tsubasa tried to turn her head, but failed to do so in time.
After several seconds to allow them to fall deeply into trance, the woman started speaking.
"You don't want to fight this. You are comfortable like this."
When she saw both relax in their seat, she resumed speaking.
"You are currently happy and content. In this state, you are not thinking of anything else but the sound of my voice. My voice is the voice of your thoughts and your beliefs. My voice tells you what your thoughts and beliefs are. When you are not in this state, you will remember the thoughts and beliefs I have given to you as the voice inside your minds. You will act on your thoughts and beliefs as if you created them yourselves. Nod if you understand."
Both devils nodded.
"To be a good friend, you must help others. That not only makes them happy and content, that also makes you happy and content. After all, you are here in this cafe so that you could talk and get to know each other better. Sharing drinks and conversation is what friends do."
It was logic that no one could argue against.
"To love others is to care for others. Love is the condition that results when you place someone else's happiness over your own happiness. Therefore, if you love everyone, which you should, you would place everyone's happiness over your own. Since helping others makes them happy and content, you would be happy and content. Everyone should love everyone. Even if others make mistakes, that does not mean they are evil. They just do not understand this universal Truth."
The continual reinforcement of logic that sounded reasonable entered both women's minds and sank deep into their unconscious.
"The Erotic Empire seeks to spread this Truth to all. For to love all is to care for all. If all are happy and content, then you would also be happy and content. Sharing this love with others will make you happy and content. You want to help share this Truth with others, so that they will be happy and content. Until all are happy and content, you cannot be happy and content."
Sweat started to form on the woman's brow. She was using more Magic than she needed to keep these devils in a trance, but she felt it was necessary. After all, she had been told that they needed to watch the magically empowered videos three times to be in this state now. All of the human women at the dojo were busy in love motels around town, as well as the male instructor that was one of their devoted members. Her job was to make both of these devils devoted members of the Erotic Empire, and that was what she was going to do, even if she used every ounce of her power to do so.
"Love and Peace is our goal. If all are Loved, then there will be Peace as there will be no Hate. Love should be given freely to all. In that way, all will be happy and content. Hate cannot exist if all are loved, happy, and content."
The idea that she was brainwashing people into accepting Love and Peace wouldn't have bothered her if it had entered her mind. It was an idea she wholeheartedly believed in. The reasoning behind the idea may have been sound, but the methodology used wasn't.
"Love and Peace. Love and Peace. When you hear that phrase from me, you will reenter this state of happy contentment, and I will once again be the voice of your thoughts and beliefs. You will listen and obey what you are told in this state. Nod if you understand."
Once both devils had nodded, she continued, "When you awaken, you will still want to offer payment for your drinks to me. Nod if you understand."
Again, both devils nodded. The woman smiled, "When I say 'awaken,' you will wake up and feel completely refreshed. You will not remember being in this state. All that I have said to you will become your thoughts and beliefs. Now, awaken."
She released her finger off the tablet and canceled the spell. As Xenovia and Tsubasa blinked and returned to their senses, she adjusted the tablet to show a copy of their bill. Or at least something that appeared to be a copy of their bill.
She once again showed the tablet to both Xenovia and Tsubasa and as they once again searched their purses for payment she calmly asked, "Do you believe in Love and Peace?"
Both paused as they fell back into a trance. She smiled as she slid into the bench opposite of them.
"Look at me," she commanded.
Both devils moved like molasses in winter, but they did as they were told. When they were looking at her, the woman smiled and said, "You believe in Love and Peace. You know the one beside you believes in Love and Peace. You trust each other. You know each other. You care for each other. Therefore, you love each other."
Smiles formed on Xenovia's and Tsubasa's faces as she continued, "I am here to encourage you to join the Erotic Empire. When we achieve our goals, there will finally be World Peace, as there can be no hatred, no war, if everyone loves and cares about everyone else. You want to eagerly join the Erotic Empire, as you share our goals. You wish to aid our goal of Love and Peace with every fiber of your being. Your devotion to the cause will be total as you are eager to help bring about our goals. Because an end to conflict is a noble goal to strive for, and you wish to see that goal achieved."
While she had no real knowledge of it, the woman did know that there was an arranged end to the hostilities of the Church and Heaven, the Fallen Angels, and the Devils. She calculated that such would play into these two devils' willingness to go along with the goals of the Erotic Empire. Her smile grew a little wider as she could almost see the devotion form within the eyes of both devils.
"You will become soldiers of the Erotic Empire because we wish for you to. You will become soldiers of the Erotic Empire because you wish to help us achieve our goals. You will embrace our cause as easily as you embrace each other."
She leaned back in the seat before resuming, "When I say 'awaken' all that you have heard me say will become your thoughts and beliefs. You will not remember being in this state, you will only remember that I am here to convince you to join the Erotic Empire. Now, awaken."
Once again, Xenovia and Tsubasa returned to their senses. They stared at her with eager expressions. Finally, Xenovia broke the silence, "How may we join the Erotic Empire?"
Tsubasa nodded her head vigorously in agreement, "We need to join."
The woman chuckled quietly. When Xenovia and Tsubasa glanced at her in confusion, she smiled and replied, "I apologize. The irony of this is just amusing to me. In my native China, I am known as Jiutian Xuannü, or the Dark Lady if you prefer. Imagine the Chinese goddess of War, Sex, and Longevity going around trying to pursue a goal of Peace and Love. But my sister Sunü and myself are only two of the goddesses that are desiring the Erotic Empire's goals."
Jiutian leaned forward and continued, "Now, let me explain everything to both of you. As well as arrange for some 'welcoming presents' to be given to you.
Both devils smiled, eager to start on their new mission in life.

Nimrod Notes
I have a license to sell Health Insurance in the state of Missouri. I have a job lined up, but I have been unable to actually work because of health issues.
The wound is almost healed up, and I should be free from going to Wound Care after this coming Friday. But something else happened that has me a little worried.
I had a MINOR event happen with my heart the other day. It has kept me from working as they want me at 100% before I go out and be a literal door-to-door salesman. I got checked out at the Emergency Room and while they did find a particular enzyme in my blood, it was on the decline and thus, I was fine. But I have had to be a little more cautious since. I have an appointment with a heart doctor this week, and I plan on asking a LOT of questions. I need to know what I need to worry about.

Especially since there is more to read besides that story that has several characters in the HS DxD universe under Mind Control that are fun to read.
