It is my first Harry Potter story. Will be Harry/Multi (Harem) and probably Neville/Multi. It will start at the beginning of the third year. Slow build-up. A smarter Harry and more friends. Earlier real friends with Neville and Ginny. Can be long between updates. Bashing RW/AD/?. We have reached the fourth year how will the earlier changes change the tournament and relationships?

Chapter 63 Harry talks, Hermione's letter, Sirius's response, Daphne and Susan talk

16th October 1994, Gryffindor Common Room, Hogwarts

Harry came back from his usual morning run as it became a habit which makes him proud he kept doing it although the reason why he started wasn't there anymore as Sirius wasn't after him. Also, the morning run helps him clear his mind when he needs it which he certainly needs now after yesterday. The whole day was one big surprise, one after another.

He knows that the moment Hermione, Ginny or Katie will see him in the Gryffindor Common Room they want to know everything and Harry knows he can't do that. He can't tell about the marriage contract, the other bracelets or that he is also Heir Black. He can tell he is Heir Potter as Hermione already knows that which means Ginny, Luna and Katie probably also knows.

Being Heir Potter reminds him that he may need to let Neville know as Heir Longbottom that he took up his Heirship as their families have been Allies for a long time. Also that he has every intention to continue their Alliance when he reaches his majority and becomes Lord Potter.

Just as he expected the moment he comes back Hermione is already waiting on him. She doesn't look completely happy or mad. She was sorry she cursed him, but still unhappy with him.

Hermione looks at Harry and says "Harry, we want to know everything. You go shower and after that me, Ginny, Luna and Katie want to know everything. And I mean everything."

Harry nods but knows he is lying. He doesn't know if he will tell he doesn't tell them anything or not. Before Harry goes upstairs Hermione asks "Was Padfoot there?"

Harry wonders why she asks but he nods. Hermione immediately says "Can I use Hedwig? I want to send a letter to my parents."

Harry says "Sure Hermione. You know you can always use Hedwig. I am sure she is more than happy too."

Hermione almost wants to run to hug him and thank him. She thanks Harry and immediately grabs her bag and says "I will go the Owlery and write there. I will see you in the Great Hall for breakfast."

Harry says before being out of her sight "Sure, I will see you there in a bit."

Hermione knows she didn't tell the whole truth. While she will send her parents a letter she will also send a letter to Sirius she just 'forgot' to tell Harry. She will tell her parents how the year goes and that she knows why she needed the dress robes although her dress robe is a muggle dress female dress robes are muggle-looking dresses.

She doesn't know how to ask Sirius if Harry can have more wives by law as Ginny said, while also making sure isn't revoked, isn't removed, is sure Harry can use that law and how many that could be. She knows she will take care that Harry will accept she just wants to know if there really is a law for it. She hopes if Sirius doesn't know maybe Professor Lupin can find out as he isn't an escaped prisoner, not a convict as Sirius was never convicted …. at least not legally.

16th October 1994, the Owlery, Hogwarts

Hermione walks into the Owlery. She barely sees anybody on her way here which is normal on a Sunday especially the Sunday after Hogsmeade.

As soon as she enters she hears Hedwig hoots to her. She doesn't understand Hedwig but she thinks Hedwig is happy to see her as her being her means that she needs her which makes Hedwig very happy. Hedwig immediately flies to Hermione hoping for a scratch.

Hermione gives Hedwig a scratch and then asks "Hedwig, I still need to write my letters can you give me a couple of minutes?"

Hedwig hoots before flying back to her place, which is one of the highest places in the Owlery showing she is one of the highest in the hierarchy, eagerly waiting for her Master's best friend to finish writing the letters she will deliver, no matter what happens unless her Master needs her. If her Master needs her she will do whatever he needs even if that means the letters will be delayed or she can't deliver the letters at all.

After 10 minutes she is done with the letter for her parents. Hedwig is ready to fly down to get the letter when she sees that Master's best friend grab another parchment. Hedwig wonders why and decides to stay where she is until Master's best friend is done. Hedwig has been wondering if Master's best friend is not Master's mate, but Hedwig knows if they are her Master will tell her.

It takes almost another 45 minutes before Hermione is done with her letter to Sirius. She looks for Hedwig. Hedwig notices and knows it is time for her to take the letters.

Hermione grabs her first letter and says "This one is for my parents."

Hedwig lifts her leg towards Hermione and Hermione immediately ties the brief to Hedwig's leg.

Hermione grabs the other and says "This letter is for Padfoot or his real name Sirius Black. I don't know where he is but I am sure you can find him."

Hedwig hoots and grabs the letter in her beak.

Hermione says before Hedwig flies away "Please wait for a response from my parents and Padfoot."

Hedwig spread her wings and flies away at top speed. She wants to be back before tomorrow morning to fly while her Master runs. After his run, he always scratches her and gives her so much attention that she loves.

Hermione is surprised at the speed Hedwig flies away and wonders how that is possible as she is sure that not any species of owl can fly as fast as she saw Hedwig fly away.

Hermione immediately remembers that she would meet Harry in the Great Hall for breakfast. She is happy it is a Sunday as the breakfast is long on Sunday for the people who sleep in to still get breakfast before lunch starts (which is also longer just like dinner although dinner is only a little bit as on Monday classes start again).

16th October 1994, The Great Hall, Hogwarts

Hermione enters and can't help to smile when she sees that Harry is waiting on her. He still has food on his plate but it looks like he is eaten very slow while smiling and talking with Neville and Ginny. Hermione wonders where Katie is when she sees that she a couple of feet down the table talking with the chasers while every few seconds look at Harry that Hermione sees happening. Alicia and Angelina don't seem to notice or don't call her out on that.

Hermione immediately walks to Harry and sits beside him as Neville sits across from Harry. Ginny sits on the other side almost like she left that place open for Hermione. Hermione doesn't really care but wonders where Ronald is when she hears a pig eaten, a couple of feet away, with the biggest pile of food on one plate Hermione has ever seen before. The big pile of food hide the pig's face as the pile also quite quickly becomes smaller. As expected as soon as the pig is done and starts to get more food she sees that it is Ronald.

It seems Ginny knows as do Neville and Harry as Ginny doesn't even look behind her to know it is Ronald. Hermione understands it is almost sickening looking at Ronald eaten like a pig which he almost always does.

Hermione looked around to see if she sees Luna and she quickly founds her at the Ravenclaw. She dislikes that Luna sits alone like she is ill and is contagious or something. What surprised Hermione is that Luna doesn't seem to mind as she is smiling at Hermione while taking a big bite out of a sandwich. Hermione can't help but be surprised at Luna especially smiling while she doesn't look sad that no one at her table wants to sit with her.

Apparently, Luna saw Hermione look as Luna looks straight into her eyes from across the Ravenclaw table. Hermione looks as if Luna really isn't sad and it looks like Luna really isn't.

As soon as Breakfast is over Hermione wants to drag Harry to a private room and make sure Ginny, Luna and Katie follow, however, before that happens Harry says "I know you want to know everything Hermione and I will tell you. Neville, I think you should come too."

Neville nods and is happy Harry wants him to be there.

16th October 1994, Empty classroom, Sixth floor, Ravenclaw Tower, Hogwarts

They enter the clean classroom that isn't used, but they use it every evening.

Harry says "I will you everything I can, but I will be honest I cannot tell anything as some things are very hard for me to understand or accept. Also, some things are very sensitive and until you can protect your mind from most if not all attacks or it will shortly be known by the larger public I cannot tell you, I hope you can understand that. It is not that I don't trust you, it is just very important. Do you trust me?"

Hermione doesn't like it but she agrees as she knows Harry wants her to trust him. She notices that as soon as Harry asks if they can trust him she would do everything to show him that he could trust her and that she would trust him. Ginny, Luna, Katie and Neville don't hesitate and say that they trust him completely.

Harry says "Thank you, but first thing first."

Harry walks towards Neville and says "Heir Longbottom, I must apologize for not mentioning the Alliance between House Longbottom and House Potter as we have been Allies for a long time. However, until recently I didn't know about the Alliance between our Houses and that we have been Allies for a long time. I hope you do forgive me for not knowing."

Neville thinks for a minute before the training his grandmother has put him through starts to work. He says "Heir Potter, while I would have hoped you would act earlier as you didn't know I will not hold it against you and hope that when we both reach our majority we can renew the vow of being Allies like our parents, our parent's parents and our parent's, parent's parents all the way to the start of the Alliance."

Harry smiles and says "It would be my pleasure and the moment I get my Lord Potter ring it would be my first act as Lord Potter."

Neville says "I would love to do that too if I can convince my Grandmother to wait one day before I will become Lord Longbottom."

Katie sees a ring on Harry's finger and asks "Harry, what is that ring on your right ring finger?"

Harry says without looking "That is the Heir Potter ring. It is normal for Wizarding Houses to have Heir and Heiress ring sometime even multiple if you have more than one child. Also, the Lord ring and Ladies rings."

Nobody except Neville notices Harry saying the Ladies' rings in the plural. Neville wonders if Harry knows that he is almost required by law to have more wives for House Potter just like he (Neville) has for House Longbottom. Neville doesn't dwell on this as he decides to greet Harry as the Ally as he should have greeted Harry.

Neville extends his hand and Harry can gladly take it. However, before Harry can shake Neville's hand Neville leans forward so he can grab Harry's forearm. Harry remembers this, Andi told him how Allies greet each other, especially for the first time. Sometimes after a long time when they didn't meet and do it when they meet again or just as a sign of respect (almost) every time. The first time it is traditional to show each other that they trust each other and (especially if they are right-handed) they will have their aid whenever it is needed.

Harry grabs Neville's forearm and they shake their arms once at the same time. Neville says while they shake "the Alliance between House Longbottom and House Potter stands firm. House Longbottom will always stand by House Potter."

Harry says "House Potter will always stand beside House Longbottom and have each other backs."

Neville and Harry shake one more time before they release each other forearms. Neville says "Harry, I am glad you know now it was quite hard not to tell you. My grandmother didn't want me to tell you until you had the Heir ring or mentioned the long-standing alliance between our Houses."

Harry decides to show them all the Heir Potter ring. He makes sure the Heir Black is still disillusioned. He shows it to them. Neville just looks to see if it is really the Heir's ring and when he sees it he is happy but doesn't care about the ring much more. He, however, starts to think that he just got into a lot of trouble because Harry seems to attract trouble. He hopes that the trouble will be less this year than the years before so he could get used to it. He will still follow Harry through any trouble as Harry is his best friend and the most trustworthy Ally. He hopes that the girls that gather around Harry can keep Harry from getting into too much trouble for Harry's sake and his own as he knows almost certain he can't keep Harry from much trouble.

When Harry sees that Neville lost interest he shows the ring to the girls and let them even see it from close range.

Katie says "Wow, it is really beautiful but it looks muscular and manly, it is definitely a male ring."

Harry says "Well, it is the Heir ring, not the Heiress ring so I guess it must look more manly or something."

Hermione asks "Harry, can you tell us what you did and stuff like that."

Harry says "I can tell you what I can, what I can understand and what I am comfortable with sensitive or not."

Hermione is unhappy but accepts as she knows Harry trusts them and will tell them immediately if it was important at this time.

Harry starts to tell going to Diagon Alley, Gringotts and receiving the Heir Potter ring. He tells them only a little bit about Andi like being a Healer for St. Mungo's and helping him. He doesn't mention to them that he is also Heir Black or that Andi is Regent Potter and his guardian.

He does tell that they got him some clothes and that the Head of the DMLE managed to get him an Auror-grade wand holster. He doesn't say why just that it was probably because of Sirius even though they still think he is out of the country. He tells them that Sirius is staying somewhere in England, but he doesn't tell whereas he also doesn't know where. He knows he stays at Andi and Tonks's house but he doesn't know where that house is, he only saw the inside.

Harry sees that Hermione wants to ask him something. Harry sees that she barely can contain herself. As soon as Harry said that he returned with Professor McGonagall and reaches the group right before Hogwarts, the moment he stops talking Hermione asks "Did you get more potions?"

Harry is honest and says "Yes, but I don't have them yet. Andi….. Healer Tonks said that she will need a little time to make it. She said I will finish it around the 23rd of October. I will probably receive it on the 23rd or early the 24th of October as Healer Tonks said I would be done right before Christmas if I take them on time and probably eat enough meaning I need to take them two months."

Hermione immediately vows to herself she will force-feed Harry if it is needed to make sure he takes the potions on time and make Harry eat enough for the potion to work properly. One look at Ginny shows that she thinks the same as her. Luna has her normal serene smile. Katie and Hermione's eyes look into each other and Katie immediately knows that Hermione will make sure Harry does that. Katie give a small nod meaning she would help Hermione to make sure Harry takes the potion if Hermione needs her help.

When it seems that Harry has told them everything he would they all decide it is time to leave the room and finish their homework with Hermione's help for those that needed it as she was already done with all her homework for the coming days.

16th October 1994, Tonks's House, Dartford

It is just after lunch when Hedwig reaches the Tonks' House. She sees in two trees the birds Sirius brought back. They give him a welcoming sound before Hedwig land lands at the kitchen window. She sees the woman her master calls Andi and starts to tap the window.

Andi seems to notice and immediately opens the window making Hedwig fly to the kitchen table. Andi happily asks "Did Harry send me a letter?"

Andi grabs the letter. Hedwig trusts her master and he trusts her. Andi says "I don't think this is Harry's handwriting it seems more feminine. Also, it is for Sirius. I wonder who else knows to call him, Padfoot."

Andi notices the letter on her leg and wants to grab it when Hedwig jumps away. Andi says "Oh, that letter isn't for me or Sirius, is it?"

Hedwig nods her head or at least Andi thinks Hedwig does. She shouts "You Mutt, come down here right now."

Sirius soon runs down the stairs in his Animagus form. Andi hears other footsteps and knows it can only be Remus as Dora will still be asleep after her shift and Ted is out for golf with a client.

Andi says "Sirius, I need you as Sirius. Someone send you a letter."

Sirius changes out of his Animagus form and asks "Did Harry send me a letter?"

Andi says "While it is Hedwig but the handwriting looks feminine."

Sirius grabs the letter before he takes a seat and says to no one "This certainly isn't Harry's handwriting. It, also, isn't Amelia's handwriting. Well, let's see who send me a letter?"

Sirius opens it.

Padfoot,

I hope you still remember me. I am Hermione Granger and a good friend of Harry. Another good friend, Ginny Weasley, mentioned an old law she learned from her father when she was younger. I am wondering if the law still exists and isn't repealed or abolished.

I hope what I will tell you now you will not tell Harry. I don't really want to beat around the bush and also don't know another way to say this. I, Ginny and two other friends are in love with Harry and Ginny mentioned there is or was a law that makes it able for Harry to have more than one wife. I know I am a muggleborn and should be appalled by the barbaric law that could give a wizard a harem, but I know Harry enough to know that he will never be as bad as some wizards can be with a harem.

My parents also excepted it what did make me convinced if it is still possible I won't mind being part of it. Also, is there something as a head-wife or first-wife Ginny called me that when we discussed it? Also, they will all listen to me before we decide that we want to advance the relationship if that's still possible. They think I know Harry the best also for that.

I know Harry will have a problem with that when we tell him as we didn't yet. I mean he is muggle-raised so he should be in the same mind as me before my parents accepted my decision to ….. share Harry with Ginny and two others if not more. I don't ask you to help to convince Harry that multiple wives are possible as I think we can do that. I just need to know if the law still exists or that legally Harry will not have a problem when we marry Harry as I do Ginny and one of the others are fully committed to marrying Harry. The other one is very close to being committed to.

I hope you can tell me that it is possible as we all know it will cause problems for Harry if we can't as then he needs to choose which will probably make Harry feel bad as he needs to see one of us as more important than the other ones. I know that Harry will always treat us like we want to be treated. Also, I just know that Harry will never put one of us above another and that his huge heart will give us all the love we can ever want especially from a wizard with multiple wives.

Sirius starts to laugh out loud almost falling out of his chair. Andi and Remus looked at him. After the laughing, which took many minutes before he finally stops, he shot a mischievous smile. Both Remus and Andi notice.

Remus knows that something very good must have happened and after spending years with Sirius when he got that mischievous smile after a prank he doesn't mind the smile.

Andi, on the other side, doesn't like it and asks sternly "Who wrote you and what made you laugh like a madman?"

Remus sees the envelope with Sirius's name. He recognizes the handwriting as it is unique and one of the more beautiful handwriting especially in Harry's year.

Remus asks "It is Hermione Granger, right Padfoot?"

Sirius can only give a big smile which is an answer to Remus and Andi.

Andi asks "Why would she write to you? Did something happen to Harry and that is why she wrote to you? Why would you laugh at that!"

Sirius sees that Andi is started getting agitated. He knows Andi, which means he doesn't need his instincts which made him a good Auror before Azkaban, to see that if he doesn't talk soon Andi will pull her wand on him. He can defend himself now he got a wand back but Andi was just as bad as Lily was with her curses.

Sirius decides it is best to tell them. He says "Moony, is right. Hermione Granger send me a letter although you already seem to know that. Andi to answer your question in order, she asked me a question about wizarding law, in a sense something did happen to Harry and that is why she wrote to me because of the question regarding Harry. I laughed as this cannot get better."

Andi isn't happy with the answer and asks "What does she want to know about wizarding law and what do you mean in a sense something happened to Harry?"

Sirius tries to think of something witty when Andi sternly says "Don't lie, Sirius. I am in no mood for your antics when something kind of happened to Harry."

Sirius knows he didn't explain it can be good maybe not immediately but it will in the long run. Sirius says "Don't worry, Andi. It isn't something bad or at least I don't think so. Harry may want to curse me sometimes, but in the end, he will be happy. I mean how can't he be happy."

Andi says "That still doesn't answer it, you Mutt."

Sirius knows he needs to come up with answers soon as Andi will only use mutt when she is angry or he annoyed her beyond a certain point. He knows he did both. He decided to not act like he normally would as he is very afraid of being cursed by Andi as she is more dangerous when she is agitated just like Lily was and someone he would never forget, Amelia, not to mention those curses really hurt. More than once he thanked Merlin they were on his side as if they weren't he would be painfully killed even worse than Death Eaters did and that was already very bad and painful.

Sirius says "Alright, Andi. It seems that the spots for Lady Potter are already filled or at least partially."

Andi calms down a bit and asks "What do you mean?"

Sirius's smile grows as he answers "Hermione Granger wants to know if the law for sole Heirs to have multiple wives still exists, something similar or if Harry can use it as she together with three other girls decided to share Harry for a lack of better words. She didn't ask me to help Harry get to terms with it as she is sure they can and I agree that they have a much better chance than us…. just as Dora has. I mean they all have an….. advantage we especially I and Remus don't have."

Andi sends Sirius a curse which Sirius expected and happily lets him hit. He laughs while the curse did hurt a bit although nowhere near enough as Andi did in the past.

Remus asks "Did Hermione mention if Harry said he has marriage contracts signed for him?"

Sirius says "I don't think so. Or at least Hermione doesn't mention it. Don't forget Harry was afraid of how Hermione would react when she would find out. I think he kept it from her. I would probably have done the same as I never expected a letter like this to arrive, especially as what I have seen Hermione is proud to be a muggleborn and that she has every right to be just like Lily was."

"The downside is their muggle upbringing most of the time conflicts with the wizarding society….. especially here in Britain. What Harry made clear is one of the reasons why he has trouble with it. To be honest, I think how Hermione would react was Harry's biggest fear and not really having three wives already. From what I have seen and I think you, Moony, can agree he will be very happy."

Remus gives a good laugh and says "I must agree with that."

Sirius gets a mischievous smile and says "I knew you would back me up, Moony, now I wonder was that before, after or during which the lovely Aurora Sinistra, Bathsheda Babbling and Septima Vector were vying for your attention."

Remus shows an indifferent face and says "I don't know what you're talking about."

Andi says "We can discuss Remus's love life or thick-headedness like a teenager later. Sirius, how do you plan to respond? Hedwig is still here so Hermione Granger must have asked Hedwig to wait for a response."

Andi's bluntness makes Remus slightly blush which never happened after he graduated from Hogwarts. Sirius can't help but laugh at his last best friend.

After Sirius stopped laughing he says "I haven't been keeping up with many events during my stay in Azkaban, when I was on the run or when I was, if I may add reluctantly, on vacation outside of Britain. Andi, I don't know if you did but as you didn't mention it I think the law still exists."

Andi nods and says "It indeed does. I didn't follow all the laws but I did keep an eye out for that particular law with Harry in mind even if I didn't know his whereabouts. I was, or maybe I am again, the law witch of House Potter."

Sirius says "I guess you are again. I will write that the law she asks about still exists. Also, we leave convincing Harry to Hermione and her friends but that she shouldn't be surprised if there will be more that are willing to share Harry. I will not mention the marriage contracts as that should be Harry unless something forces our hand."

Andi says "I agree. Maybe it is an idea to send Amelia a letter to send a letter to Susan to talk to Hermione. Susan is probably a Hufflepuff so she would be easily able to talk to Hermione instead of Daphne Greengrass or Astoria Greengrass especially if they are Slytherins as I know Jacob Greengrass was a Slytherin."

Andi gets parchment, a quill and an ink bottle. When she returns she gives it to Sirius so he can reply.

Andi wants to read it before Sirius sends it and finds it acceptable. As soon as Hedwig leaves with the letter attached to her leg Sirius starts to tease Remus. Andi doesn't say anything but she will remember everything and will use it when needed as Slytherin always do. She knows Remus is a good wizard not only in fighting she remembers Lily being mad at the wizarding world seeing Werewolves as dark creatures and that Remus deserves much better. She admitted to Lily that Remus is indeed a very kind man which is rare in the wizarding world although she knows that the muggle world is better although not by much.

Andi also remembers Lily more than once threatening Remus to find a nice witch as many would look past his furry little problem. Remus never believed her and now it seems three witches are interested in him if she must believe Sirius which she has no reason to doubt on this point, especially with the way Remus tries to deny it which does not sound convincing at all.

16th October 1994, Heathgate, Hampstead

Hedwig arrives at Hermione's House barely two hours later. She didn't use the bond to fly fast as she knows she doesn't need it for the short distance between Tonkses House and Hermione's House. The Tonkses live a couple of miles to the southeast of London and Hermione lives just north of London compared to where Harry lives and Hermione or the Weasleys live in the summer the Tonkses House and Hermione's House are very close.

She flies to the window she always uses when she goes here. She isn't surprised to see both of Hermione's parents sitting at the kitchen table like they were waiting for her. She taps the window and in a few seconds, the window is opened. She flies to the table and holds out her leg with the letter for Hermione's parents. While Hermione's mother starts to read Hermione's letter her father fills a bowl with water and lay down some owl treats. Hedwig is happy, the owl treats are the ones with bacon flavour and normally her master will have some with actual bacon in it she hopes they do too. She hoots happily when she is sure these are those treats with the flavour and some actual bacon in them.

She doesn't notice Hermione's father reading the letter when Hermione's mother is done. Hermione's mother leaves but quickly returns with muggle writing equipment to respond. Hedwig doesn't notice until she gets a scratch from Hermione mother and asks "Hedwig, can you deliver this to Hermione?"

Hedwig takes the letter in her beak and immediately spread her wings to fly out of the window. Hedwig decides to use some of her master's magic to return to Hogwarts before nightfall and deliver the letters to her Master's best friend.

16th October 1994, The Great Hall, Hogwarts

It is dinner time and some owls fly in to deliver mail from parents or other things. Hermione hopes on Hedwig although it would be very hard for Hedwig to fly all the way to her parents, Sirius where ever he may be and back if she can even find Padfoot. She has trust in Hedwig but as she knows of Snow Owl it should almost be impossible to return before midnight. It made her shocked when an owl lands in front of her and it is indeed Hedwig she didn't look at the incoming owls as she didn't expect Hedwig to return so soon.

Hermione grabs the letter in her beak and her leg hoping she got a response from Sirius and it isn't her letter. She almost wants to rip the letter apart when she sees someone else's handwriting that has written her name. She wants to know what Sirius wrote but she knows she will need to do that tonight and that also means she needs Harry to leave earlier than before. She pockets that letter and opens the letter from her parents.

Her parent's letter if nothing special as it is normal like that they are happy she is having fun, love hearing about the subjects, happy that nothing has happened to her (or Harry) like the previous year so far although they do admit that it is early in the year and want her to be very careful on Halloween and if possible don't lose Harry out of her sight because of the things that have happened. In the first year the troll, in the second year, Mrs. Norris was petrified and the message was on the wall and last year Sirius Black attacked the Fat Lady.

They know Sirius is innocent but still something happened. They wrote that she must stay close to Harry that day to make sure Harry doesn't do something stupid and if possible stay with the other students. They are intrigued about the other schools, the Yule Ball every edition Hermione read about mentioned and want Hermione to send a letter as soon as she can about the other schools. Hermione already knows that the other two schools are Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and the Durmstrang Institute.

Beauxbatons is located in Southern France although not clearly stated where and Durmstang is even more mysterious as it is somewhere in the northern part of Europe and mostly indicated to the Scandinavian countries, but not even a country is named, even worse than that was they are known for the Dark Arts and the worst was that Gellert Grindelwald was a student there.

She almost drops her fork when obviously her father started to write and insinuating that she snogs Harry every moment she can, asks if they have seen the inside of a lot of broom closets already and wonders if Hogwarts: A History mentioned how much there are and how many she already visited. He warns her to not get pregnant before marriage and no marriage before her OWLs, if possible her NEWTs and most important to let her mother help with planning the marriage or her mother will be sad and mad. Her father circles back with 'But first the ball you mentioned in your letter, so when are you going to ask him? Maybe try something like ask him to take you flying then ask him or be very obvious you want him to ask you, he will probably find something you like so he can ask you.'

Hermione would have thought about it if third years could come and most importantly if she was the only one in love with Harry, but, of course, she isn't. She still wants Harry to ask Ginny or Luna so they could come and as long as she gets a few dances in with Harry she wouldn't mind having a date. She even thought about guys who she could trust to just go as friends although only Neville and in the worst case Ron's come to mind.

Harry seems to notice and asks if something is wrong. Hermione managed to say without an obvious blush that everything is right. She sees that Harry isn't sure but a small smile seems to satisfy him to make him continue to eat and talk with the others of their year, especially Neville although they also talk with Ginny. Harry something looks at Katie but can't talk to her and he looks way less than Katie does.

16th October 1994, unused classroom, Sixth Floor, Ravenclaw Tower

They all gave Harry and good night kiss before they sent him away which was the hard part as Harry looks so much better and they all feel Harry's magic which feels so good especially when he is nearby. They can clearly feel his magic even when other wizards are nearby meaning he is powerful. Ginny's and Hermione's magic already feel connected to Harry's magic but it gives, mostly Hermione, unwanted thoughts about being with Harry. Hermione needed to use her willpower to send Harry back to the Common Room.

She looks to the others and says "I decide to send, Sirius Black, a letter. Harry doesn't know I did it as I used Hedwig to send my parents a letter too. Sirius did respond, I haven't been able to read the letter yet so I will read what he did and if it is possible we can decide if we should move forward and what the next step would be."

Ginny says "Sounds good."

Luna says dreamily "The Nargles agree and you mustn't worry Hermione it will work out also worrying attracts Wrackspurts."

Hermione gives a smile while she hasn't found any of her creatures she can't help but like Luna a lot, almost like a real sister.

Katie says "I agreed to follow your lead Hermione and I have no intention of not doing so."

Hermione nods and opens the letter. She reads out loud:

"Hermione,"

"I must admit that this is the last thing I expected as I didn't even expect a letter from you. It is clearly Harry doesn't know about this and I can understand. It is because he is muggle raised. If he was raised by his parents or as someone in his position would be he would be more open to this idea."

"What Ginny Weasley told you is indeed correct, there is a law that gives certain wizards in certain situations the ability to have more wives, in Harry's case it is pretty much required almost by law. ANYWAY, yes Harry is legally allowed to have more than one wife, it is almost encouraged, even in polite conversations, to prevent House Potter from dying out."

"Moony…. Sorry I mean Remus pointed out that there are purebloods, no offence, to Ginny, that may help you as they know more about the law and other laws. I can understand if you don't want to ask an Heir as well it is a wizard and many pureblood Heirs especially those who are proud to be a pureblood or believes in the purity of blood are arrogant although some who aren't are still arrogant they may even think you ask about it, to be with them and not thinking yourself are beautiful enough to be the Heirs only wife. I am almost sure a certain blond pompous Heir will think even worse although legally he can't be called a Heir because of his father's crime."

"Anyway as Heirs are out of the question Heiress is the next best thing. There are quite a couple of pureblood Heiresses who have been taught by their father a lot more than Ginny was, again no offence. Most of the Heiress taught or maybe better said trained by their father are sole Heiresses. While Ginny is the sole Heiress she isn't the sole child as she has six older brothers who all will be the Heir before her."

"If my memory serves me right there are quite a couple of Heiresses who should know what you want to know and aren't arrogant. I think your best choice is Susan Bones. She is the sole Heiress of House Bones and I am sure her Aunt trained her well. Also, House Bones and House Potter were almost Allies and they are both highly respected Houses."

"If you are still thinking about becoming Lady Potter as are your friends there are things you need to be taught to be good Ladies of Houses and in this case, House Potter, but Susan may be able to help you with that too. Some others may want to help too but for now, Susan is probably the best choice after she taught you about the law and maybe ask her about Ladies in the wizarding world. Hermione, I think you will be using the word barbaric a lot. Harry's mother who was a muggleborn just like you did use that word a lot for certain aspects of the wizarding world regarding Houses and witches."

"The current Regent Potter will certainly want me to tell you it isn't as bad as I make it look as this is Harry we are talking about and will some wizards would be bastards if they have multiple wives Harry will not be. That also means that something Susan may mention Harry will never do or use. Just keep in mind that it is Harry would be the wizard which should alleviate any fear you probably will get from Susan Bones's stories, but don't forget you will not experience it as Harry will never do such things so do not be afraid."

"If you are not sure about Susan or want a more adult perspective just send me a letter as I know someone who can also help. I am sure she wouldn't mind and maybe even like it as it will help you and Harry as Harry also needs to be taught a lot about his muggle upbringing and not being taught of his place in the wizarding society, I don't mean as the-boy-who-lived but, as Heir Potter."

"I hoped this helped you. Again if I made you afraid or make you rethink it, don't do it as it is still Harry. If you tell Harry before I see him give him my love to him and also form Moony, Andi and Dora."

"Padfoot"

Ginny says "I think he was right. Daddy taught me a bit but as we are seen as blood traitors and also aren't in the high society of the wizarding world, especially after losing our wizengamot seat many generations ago Daddy only thought me a bit."

"Susan can probably help us if she knows the law. She may even know it very well as I remember Daddy saying that Susan will probably be a second wife as she needs a man willing to take her name or allow her to give the children her name so he needs another wife for his own house especially if the House has a wizengamot seat or is a House with a long history what House Potter is. I am almost sure House Potter also has a wizengamot seat."

Katie says "I guess I agree with Ginny. I am a muggleborn just like you Hermione and also didn't you say that Susan would be the addition to Harry's wives as you think she is also in love with Harry?"

Hermione nods. She looks at Luna who just has a dreamy smile and looking through a window.

As Luna says nothing Hermione says "Well, I guess Susan may be more open to it than you suspected Ginny as she is a pureblood. You didn't say Susan but you did say that pureblood are more open to it."

Ginny nods and says "As Sirius Black said so I guess we will have less to no problem with Susan unless one of us has a problem with it. Hermione, she is in your year so I guess you know her best."

Hermione says "I did talk with Susan she seems very nice and a real Hufflepuff. Katie or Luna, what do you think?"

Katie says "I have a friend in Hufflepuff but I don't mean that she told me bad things about Susan or heard bad things. Sometimes, she mentions Susan but never said anything bad."

Luna says "I think we can talk to her and shows signs we want her to join us, but we must wait until after Halloween to really ask her to join us. I think something will happen on Halloween that will make it hard for her if we ask her to join us before Halloween."

Hermione says "Alright, Luna, if you say so. Halloween has been quite eventful for Harry. I don't see what it can be this time, but something will happen I am almost sure of it."

Katie says "You are right. Your first year the Troll, your second year Mrs. Norris got petrified and the first message and last year Sirius Black tried to enter the dorm and was thought he was after Harry which he isn't."

Ginny nods but is sad that Harry's second year will always be her fault even though Harry and the petrified ones never really blamed her or at least didn't call her out on that.

Hermione says "We can better go it is curfew soon and I think Harry is waiting on us to return."

They first walked Luna to Ravenclaw Common Room before going to Gryffindor Common Room and to bed shortly after.

20th October 1994, Hogwarts

It is Thursday and as last night was a special full moon so the fourth-year, fifth-year and seventh-year students had an Astronomy lesson instead of their normal time. Last night it was also an unusually clear sky perfect for Astronomy and it was a supermoon with the other planets also clear in the sky.

It means that all three years had the first two hours off to get some more sleep. However, you always have a few students who normally wake up early and today is no different.

Hermione wants to go to the library and asks if Harry wants to go with her. Harry decided to do so as he had already run like normal and he still had some homework to do. First, they need to go to the Common Room to get their books for the classes and their homework finished or not.

They don't notice that down a corridor to goes the dungeon a blond girl looks with a smaller blond girl and a black-haired girl with a darker complex than the other two.

They want to follow but they aren't waiting for them. Soon the smaller one says she needs to go as she has class. She quickly leaves through the big doors as she has Herbology.

It isn't long after that when the one they were waiting for walks by still looks very tired.

They walk to her and the blond one says "Susan, we need to talk."

Susan turns around and says "Oh. Good Morning Daphne and Tracey and I guess you are right. I expected you to talk to me sooner after last weekend."

Daphne says "I wanted to, but this is the first time we both have time without anyone trying attempting to interrupt us as most of our year still is asleep or too tired to do anything."

Susan gives a smile and says "You are right, but I still saw Hermione and Harry going to the library."

Daphne says "It is a wonder, Granger, doesn't sleep in the library. She must have an addiction to the library. She is more a Ravenclaw than a Ravenclaw and even worse than Lady Ravenclaw."

Susan giggles and says "I think it is better if you call her Hermione. I don't say need to but it is more friendly advice as we will become closer in the coming years and I am sure Hermione will be too. Also, I think it isn't only for knowledge's sake, you must not forget the wizarding world is new for her while we grew up with it. While we will never if we don't want to learn more of the muggle world as she does the wizarding world, her wanting to know more about the wizarding world has its own merits and may even help her to cope with …"

Daphne interrupts Susan and says "Not here."

Susan says "Of course, come on let's find an empty classroom. The first floor is almost empty there should be enough empty classrooms there."

Daphne nods. Daphne and Tracey follow Susan and Hannah. To be honest most floors are empty save a few like the third floor. However, the first floor has only one class and that is History of Magic. There is one used office and that is Professor McGonagall's office as deputy Headmistress although she (almost always) uses her own Transfiguration office on the fifth floor of Gryffindor Tower. She only has an office on the first floor of Hogwarts as near her office is the entrance to the Headmaster or Headmistress's office even though the entrance to the Headmaster Office is on the second floor. There is one direct corridor between the deputy office and the entrance to the Headmaster or Headmistress office with only two turns.

20th October 1994, unused classroom, First Floor, Hogwarts

Only a few minutes later they enter an unused classroom which is almost hidden if you don't know where to look for it. It is also hidden that in the corridor with the entrance, there are no paintings while almost every other corridor in Hogwarts has at least one (large) painting.

As soon as they enter they search for the four cleanest chairs which take many minutes before they find barely acceptable seats that Hannah and Susan clean further with the cleaning spell (Scourgify). Finally, the chair is at least satisfactorily clean to sit on.

When Susan doesn't start talking Daphne decides she should as normally she wouldn't, but this is too important then to play her role as that is all it is in Slytherin playing a role and wearing a mask.

She says "I never asked if you are uncomfortable as we both need to share, Po…. Harry."

Susan shrugs and says "To be honest, it is not ideal, but I have no problem with it. Auntie has told me multiple times that I would not be the only wife. She didn't even say probably as she knew about the marriage contract between Harry and me. Also, I need to continue House Bones and he needs to continue House Potter. Even if his parents still lived he still has the same right as the only Heir and his House is important enough that the law works for him."

Daphne says "Yes, I know. Houses lower than Most Ancient and Noble cannot use the law. Harry's House is the highest just below the founders of Hogwarts or maybe even just as important as House Potter is a Most Ancient and Most Noble House. The Founders don't have any title in their House but they are very important."

"I don't know if you knew before as I didn't know before but Harry is not only betrothed to us but also to Astoria my younger sister as you know. Harry is Heir Black and it seems House Black and House Greengrass had an unfulfilled marriage contract. I hope you don't mind."

Daphne noticed that Susan, who doesn't have a mask can never hide her facial expression, doesn't have a shocked expression so Daphne knows Susan already knew.

Susan says "I know. My Auntie told me last weekend that your younger sister is also betrothed to Harry. I don't mind as I like you and I also like her. It can also be a bit fun as she is different from you especially in private although you are too if you don't need to hide or need a mask in Slytherin I suppose. I do wonder how you act when you don't need to be the Slytherin all the time. I wonder if there is still a real you inside of you and not being replaced by the Slytherin Daphne Greengrass also known as the Ice Princes."

Daphne asks "Is Hannah here as a friend or is also interested in our Gryffindor?"

Hannah doesn't answer so Susan answers for her "She is not interested in OUR Gryffindor."

Daphne nods and notices Susan saying our Gryffindor meaning there is another Gryffindor she is interested in.

Daphne says "Alright, so she is interested in Heir Longbottom."

Susan doesn't need to answer as she has a big smile while she nods. Hannah also shows the truth by blushing and clearly being embarrassed avoiding looking at anyone by looking to the ground with her head almost on her lap.

Daphne trying to be nice to one of her future sister wives best friends, trying to show as much of the real her as much as she can but be ready to put on her mask again in less than a second, says "If I didn't was betrothed to Harry and lo….. like Harry I think I can see the appeal of Neville and I don't only mean his house. He is growing up I guess and I am sure he is the best of the Gryffindors after Harry."

Hannah looks up and thinks that Daphne speaks the truth. When Hannah sees a forced smile from Daphne and a real smile from Tracey she manages to sit back up with a small embarrassed smile.

Susan asks "What about Tracey?"

Daphne looks at Tracey and Tracey knows Daphne wants her to answer.

Tracey takes a deep breath before she answers "I am not sure. I will not deny Harry is handsome but I feel there must be more for love than just looks. My father wants to talk with Regent Potter when I made my decision if I can love Harry and have a happy marriage even as one of his many wives. I still have a few days to decide, but I am not sure if Harry would like me as he has other wives like Daphne, Astoria and you Susan. That is not to mention those who are probably Ladies Potter like Hermione and Ginevra if I remember correctly, and who knows who else."

Susan says "I know you need to decide on yourself but I don't mind. I just know deep down that Harry will never treat any of us lesser than another one although it may look sometimes like that and maybe he will. I just know he will make it up to the others even if it takes some time. I know there will be some quarrels sometimes but that is normal it doesn't mean he will love us any less and I think it will also be between the wives sometimes but Harry can probably solve it one way or another. I just know we can have a happy life and happy marriage."

Tracey says "I think you are right. I also have heard Hermione about Harry's behaviour, adventures and actions. Most of those things point in that direction with the thoughts of him becoming older and much more like the man he can be. I know we will be the lucky ones. Although I guess Hannah will also be happy with Neville."

Daphne adds "As will be the other girls from Neville."

Hannah says disappointed "I knew it. He can also have more wives. I just hoped I was wrong."

Daphne says "You are not. Yes, there will be more wives but I guess and hope for you that he is Harry in that regard as I agree with both Susan and Tracey regarding Harry. Neville is good if not best friends with Harry and I think that is because they are similar in many ways or you probably will not be good friends. That is also why I find it a miracle the Weasley garbage mouth is even considered a good friend by Harry."

Susan says "Maybe Ronald is better than we think but we are not here to talk about him."

Daphne says coldly "I won't ever want to talk about him just as I never want to talk about Malfoy. When Harry and I marry and he is still friends with garbage mouth Weasley I will try to be respectful and call him Ronald, but that is about it and will probably never be around when Ronald is unless it is in Harry's and his wife's house. However, before it will come to that point I will see if garbage mouth Weasley is really his friend or not. If not what I suspect and have seen so far I will try to convince Harry that he isn't really a friend even if Ginevra will get mad at me for that, I don't care."

Susan says "If you are right I will support you. I think if we can even have Hermione support us we can make Harry doubt that. Harry will probably mostly go to Hermione to hear her thoughts if she supports us there is a small change Harry will not at least consider it."

Daphne nods as does Tracey. Hannah doesn't as she doesn't care as Ron and Neville are just friends because they are dorm mates and maybe because of their friendship with Harry without being dorm mates and Harry Neville wouldn't be friends with Ron.

They talked with each other until the break between the second period and third period to gather their stuff for the lessons. They talked about almost everything regarding Harry and helped Hannah with nearly everything regarding Neville. They especially talked about girls who may be interested in their guys and who may agree to share.

In the end, they agreed that Susan needs to talk with Hermione and possibly Ginevra for Harry and maybe they can help with Neville for Hannah if they can accept Harry's position and rights which is the same with Neville.

21st October 1994, Slytherin fourth-year girls dorm, Hogwarts

It is late at night and Tracey is still awake. She knows that she needs to decide as if her father doesn't get a letter before Monday morning he will think she refuses and he will not contact Regent Potter for a marriage contract. She thinks her father will still send a message to Regent Potter because of their close relationship with House Greengrass and the fear of Daphne's and Astoria's father. Their father didn't show fear or being afraid but that doesn't mean their parents weren't. She thinks her father will offer something else if she doesn't want to be the betrothed of Harry if Regent Potter requests something. She wonders if Regent Potter will help them even if she doesn't want to be Harry's betroth and if Regent Potter or House Potter accept anything else.

She tries not to let the threats Draco Malfoy make get to her but especially after last weekend and what Daphne's and Astoria's father said she is afraid for her own family. She wonders if becoming one of Harry's betroth is really a bad thing. The words Susan said don't leave her mind and she wonders if it really will be as good as Susan thinks it will be. She doesn't know much about Harry. She knows as much as Daphne which isn't much as they can't be friends or meet up regularly because of the rivalry and becoming a target inside Slytherin.

She tried to get to sleep earlier but it didn't work because of all her thoughts and the decision she needs to make soon, that is the reason she is still awake. She really doesn't know what to do and the small voice inside her keeps telling her to send her father a letter with that she agrees with maybe a few conditions of her own.

She fully believes Harry is much better than any of the other boys she had seen or the horror stories she heard like wizards lending their betrothed, girlfriend or wife out for gaining favours or if they have a debt letting their partner pay for it with their bodies. She doesn't want to believe Harry isn't like that but she doesn't know him well enough to be sure.

As a half-blood in Slytherin, you already have a low standing and all those things have been said against her since her first year which made her start to believe those words and also be nothing more than a second wife barely worthy to be called a second wife by any proper pureblood. Harry is a pureblood (by law) even though his mother is a muggleborn. She never told her parents, the only reason Daphne knows is because she was with her when it was said.

22nd October 1994, Hogwarts

Daphne sees that Tracey is very tired like she barely slept. Daphne knows why, she has learned a lot from her father including reading body language. She isn't that good at reading people's body language but she knows her best friend. She can see that Tracey is struggling with a big decision and Daphne knows what it is.

Daphne knows it is deciding to 'allow' her father to betroth her to Harry especially if Regent Potter wants that to help her father and mother to be saved just like Regent Potter did for her father, mother, sister and herself although she doesn't know how her father never told her. She also knows her father probably wouldn't tell her until it is necessary.

22nd October 1994, Owlery, Hogwarts

It is late at night and Tracey has made her decision. She allows her father to use a marriage contract if Regent Potter wants that and can convince him. She knows her father is difficult to be convinced even with good arguments against him and only Lord Greengrass manages to persuade him with average arguments. She knows that if Regent Potter manages to convince her father it needs to be good arguments as she is at stake. Her father is very protective of her and her mother even if he teases her a lot he will not agree with Regent Potter even if he is threatened. She knows if her father is convinced the marriage contract will be fair for her.

She writes to her father she agrees to a marriage contract if it is needed or Regent Potter if it is the best course of action if he manages to convince him. She does have a few conditions on her own. These aren't very hard conditions but she wants all of them in the marriage contract even if Regent Potter proposes the marriage contract. She knows that her father will do his best to have all her conditions in the marriage contract. Tracey knows that some may not be in the marriage contract, but she knows that some if not all of the most important ones will be.

29th October 1994, Hogwarts

Susan is confused as for almost two weeks Hermione has been talking with her. That is not the part that confuses her as she would like to be friends with Hermione in the future including that she is a Hufflepuff who accepts everyone especially to be friends. What confuses her is that Hermione seems to imply something but she doesn't know what as Hermione is extremely vague. The only thing Susan knows for certain is that it has something to do with Harry although it doesn't mean Harry is important in it or if it concerns Harry directly.

She is wondering if she can ask Harry, but if it isn't important for Harry or it doesn't concern him directly he may not know what Hermione is talking about. Also, something inside her says she shouldn't ask Harry unless Harry offers it. It is almost like she must let Harry make the decision, she will listen to his decision and will do what he says.

She tried once to ask Hermione to be blunt about what she meant, but Hermione said she didn't mean anything. Susan knows Hermione is not dumb and that she lied. Susan can call her out on that but what Hermione implies sounds very tempting and Hermione told her many times in different words that she would want that. Susan is afraid is she calls Hermione out on her lies she will stop talking to her and certainly will not reveal what she is talking about. Also, as it looks like she is trying to get Susan interested Susan is afraid Hermione will not invite her, help her get in or something like that as she just doesn't know what Hermione means.

Every time Susan gets more confused by Hermione. The only thing besides Harry Susan figured out is that it happens every night. Also, Hermione assured Susan, she will like it. Susan is almost sure meaning Hermione is also in it, but she still doesn't know what. Susan thinks it may be something muggle as Hermione is muggleborn and Harry is muggle raised.

Hannah heard everything and sometimes her other dorm mates did too. They did talk about it but just like Susan they didn't know what Hermione meant and didn't have an idea what it could be…. at least not what was even remotely possible. Susan is almost sure that in time Hermione will tell her or maybe even invite her. She decided to wait on that as Hannah hasn't heard any useful gossip only that Hermione and Harry are a couple but that has been gossip since the hug in the Great Hall after she recovered although some already thought they were a couple although they were young especially with Harry being the youngest of their year.

Let's end here for now. In the next chapter, we see the thoughts of a certain mademoiselle. Also, the schools will arrive and if the words allow it the selection (Heads up, it will look like the canon with some 'small' changes).
