Unfortunate, but it's true. This story is cancelled.

Now, true, I haven't touched this in years, I could've just left it on permanent hiatus and it wouldn't have made much of a difference. However, I get the feeling that that's not something that I should do. … Better late than never?

There is partially a reason for it. And admittedly, that reason just dragged out more and more. But no more. I won't be able to complete this story, much to my dismay. Real life is getting too much on the way.

However, there is something I'd like to suggest.

I don't like leaving things to waste. So: if you, for WHATEVER reason want to continue / remake this story? Feel free. It's yours, free of charge.

The only thing I ask if you want to continue is to contact me on PM so I can post another chapter indicating who is currently writing it. I'm only really able to give this to one person (sorta? I mean, nothing's stopping you), so it's a first-come first-served deal. Contact me if you're serious about this, I'll post another chapter to send the people their way (and change the first chapter's intro as well) and that'll be that. Feel free to do whatever. If you want to know details for the original plans for this story, you're also free to ask, I don't mind sharing at all, and it's up to you if you want to use them or not. Id' rather see this used rather than left to rot.

And, well, that's that. Once again, if you liked this story and wanted to see where it was headed, all I can really say is "sorry". But I'm not really going to hang the carrot by the end of the stick anymore by keep this on indefinite hiatus. And if you liked it enough to the point where you want to continue it? You know what to do.
