Naruko was in pain, she was sinking, the light from the sun disappearing into the darkness of the river. She had fallen off the bridge in Wave after her bastard teammate Sasuke Uchiha shoved her off while he was dodging an attack from the masked hunter-nin.
She had already been in pain before the fall, a few senbon needles embedded in her arms and legs with the occasional cut across her body. But the long fall into the icy cold water felt like falling onto concrete, she was sure she had broken a few ribs and her right arm was definitely broken. It was healing slowly thanks to the fox in her gut, that's one thing she'd always appreciated the fox for.
'It seems like this is the end, Kurami…' she thought to her tenant.
'Looks like it, kit. It's been an honor to know you.' Kurami (yes she's a girl) replied.
'It has…' she thought, her consciousness slowly fading.

Naruko coughed as she opened her eyes, confused about how she was alive, she was sure she'd drowned in the river.
'Kurami?' She asked in her head.
'I'm here, kit.' Kurami answered.
'What happened, and where are we?' She asked.
'I honestly don't know, but from what I can tell we're in an underwater cave, it seems your devilish luck has saved the both of us.' Kurami responded.
'Underwater cave?'
'Yes, my only conclusion is that while we were sinking we drifted into the current of an underwater river which must have dumped us here.' Kurami explained.
'Underwater river? What the hell is that, how can there be a river under a river?'
Kurami thought 'Fair point, they usually appear in large bodies of seawater.'
'So we really have no idea how?'
'Well, it's not like it matters, we're alive so let's be thankful for that. Now, get up and explore our surroundings!' Kurami demanded.
'Right!' Naruko thought as she pulled herself to her feet and glanced around the cave, thankful that Kurami gave her the ability to see better in the dark.
'It seems that there's a pathway that leads deeper in, while there's a waterfall behind us. That must be how we got here.' Kurami told her.
'But how is there a waterfall under a river? Shouldn't this place be flooded?' Naruko asked.
'I don't know, it's definitely odd.' Kurami said.
'Well, no point in thinking about it now, let's explore the cave.'
'That's a good idea, especially since there's no way we're getting back the way we came.'
Naruko began the spelunking adventure, delving deep into the cave. As she walked the cave floor, walls, and ceiling began to become smooth until it looked man-made. She and Kurami were confused at this, but she kept going until she came up to a staircase.
The sight froze her, she wasn't able to comprehend how a staircase was in an underwater cave. Shaking her head after a moment, she began the trek up the stairs when she reached the top she was greeted by a door, opening it with some difficulty, she entered the larger spacious room that housed a pyramid in the center, four staircases on each side that led to the top of it.
"More stairs!" Naruko groaned out loud, causing Kurami to snicker, ignoring the fox, she climbed the stairs. When she reached the top she was greeted by three items, the first was a large scroll, the second was a letter, and the third was a strange sword. Picking up the letter she began to read.
"If you're reading this, then I both envy and pity you at the same time. You see, what you've unknowingly discovered is something that people feared for generations. This is the scroll for the summoning contract for the species called Xenomorphs, a horrific species of vicious creatures that slaughtered anything in their sight while they were active.
The only reason the Elemental Nations are still intact is thanks to Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Back when he was around an asteroid crashed and landed, after a week hundreds of Xenomorphs were wreaking havoc across the nation, Hagoromo had just recently saved the nation from his insane mother, reacting quickly he made an effort to fight them, and his god-like power allowed him to subjugate them, forcing them to bend to his will, completely reprogramming their instincts, now, instead of slaughtering indiscriminately, they live to serve someone whose will was stronger than theirs.
Over the years there have only been two summoners of this species, Hagoromo himself, and me. I'm an old man now, and they've begun to revolt against me because of it, so I'm forced to hide the contract. I decided to write this on the off chance someone finds this temple, so they know what they're getting into.
The sword next to the scroll is named Kuragari (darkness), it's the mark of the owner of the contract, anyone who knows of it will immediately know you're their summoner, however, you can't just pick it up, it will reject you until you become the summoner.
Now, onto the whole reason for this letter, summoning the Xenomorphs, as I said before, they are vicious. The only humans they spare are their summoner and anyone he/she wants to be spared. The method of obtaining the contract is a tricky one, first, you have to write your name in the scroll in your blood, then go through the hand seals at the top of the scroll, this will summon the current queen, now the hard part, you have to prove your worth to her.
They may be vicious, but their instinct is to serve their king, and their king cannot be weak-willed, you need to prove to them that your will is stronger than theirs. I'll tell you how I did it, in the hopes it works for you. When she appeared before me I nearly shit myself, but she didn't attack me, I realized afterward that it was her instinct telling her that I was a potential king.
At first, I wasn't sure what to do, but when I noticed that she had seemingly begun to lose patience I took action. I walked forward and placed my hand on what I believed was her nose. Sounds suicidal I know, but oddly enough it worked, but only after a long tense silence, just when I thought she was gonna bite my hand off she bowed her head to me.
I was shocked for a moment but found myself rubbing her smooth head, causing her to make a sound that must have been their way of purring. She was oddly beautiful in a horrifying way, her long smooth head that fanned out like a crown when you reached the back of it, her multiple rows of sharp teeth, her sleek, black, muscular body, the long spiky tail that ended in a spade.
She truly was magnificent, then I heard a voice in my head, it asked me for my orders. I had no idea what to order her to do, so I sent her back to the summoning world. She tilted her head like a confused puppy, but obeyed, ever since then I used them to protect my home village, Uzushiogakure (Land of Whirlpools).
I have no idea what you'll use this contract for, but if you could humor an old man's request, please don't use them for evil. These creatures can destroy the world if they are allowed. Depending on how many years it's been since I died there could be thousands, maybe even millions of them.
I shudder to think of a scenario where there are billions of them. They breed in a… unique way, they require humans, and they insert their children into a human's throat, where they grow and burst from the victim's chest… Gruesome right?
If you're wondering where they get the humans from, don't worry, you won't have to force anyone to be sacrificed. They have a village in their summoning world, populated by subservient humans. Anyway, I believe I've written enough about the contract and how it works. Good luck with becoming their new king. If you survive that is."
When Naruko finished reading it she could only say one thing "What the actual fuck?"
Kurami was just as shocked, her container had unknowingly stumbled upon something truly amazing, and it was all thanks to a stupid Uchiha brat whose pants were too big for him.
'Hey Kurami, should we try to become their summoner?'
'I don't see why not. They will be a huge help to you.' Kurami answered.
'I don't know, I'm honestly a little scared.'
'Why? You got me with you, I'm sure the two of us combined will be enough to succeed.' Kurami reassured her.
'Okay, I trust you.'
Naruko unrolled the scroll, seeing the hand seals required and the place where she had to write her name, deciding to not wait any longer she bit her finger writing her name with her blood. She then went through the stated hand seals, and there was a poof of smoke.
Standing in front of Naruko was a creature that matched the description from the letter. However, the letter didn't describe how tall it was. The damn thing was towering over her, remembering what the letter said she gathered her courage and approached the creature.
It tilted its head to the side, scrutinizing her. She outstretched her hand, stopping when it hissed. She let her hand hang in the air a foot from the creature's mouth, she smirked and continued her motion to place her hand on its nose.
This time it didn't hiss, it looked at her, at least she thought it was looking at her, she couldn't see any eyes. She placed her hand on its nose and whispered "You really are beautiful."
The Xenomorph seemed to understand her, and it hissed softly before making the sound that must have been its purring when she rubbed the side of its head.
Just as the old man described a feminine voice entered her head "What are my orders?"
She blinked and said "I don't have any at the moment." She then took a thinking pose "Do you have a name?" She asked.
The Xenomorph tilted its head once again and spoke in her mind "Queen"
"No, that's your title. Do you not have an actual name?"
"No name, only Queen." The voice said.
"Huh, well we can't have that, now can we?" She thought for a bit "Aha, I got it. Your name is Kagemi (means both beautiful and shadow)
The newly named Kagemi hissed in what must've been joy "Thank you, nice name." She said.
"Don't mention it!" Naruko beamed "Now, go back home, I need to find a way to get out of here."
Kagemi bowed and vanished in a puff of smoke, Naruko looked around when she left, grabbing the sword and spotting another staircase twice as long as the previous two combined.
"I officially hate staircases!" She raged, before beginning the long climb.
Okay, this is my chapter to give you guys a better idea of my idea. Let me know what you guys think. Love you!
