"So, you found out where Karin is being held?" Kushina asked Naruko, her red hair flowed down her back, while her violet eyes gazed curiously at her daughter. She wore an eloquent kimono that was green, with yellow trim, and she had on yellow open-toed shinobi sandals.

"Yes, but I have to hurry because the chunin exam finals will begin in a week." Her spies had a hard time locating Karin Uzumaki over the last 2 weeks. They finally found her in one of the Snake Bastards' bases.

"Are you leaving right away?" Kushina asked.

"Yes, I'll be back in a few days." She said, then got up to leave.

"You sure you don't want me to come with you?" Kushina asked, worried.

Naruko smiled at her Mother, "Yes, I'll have Haku with me and Fuka needs you to be here to help her train."

Kushina pouted a bit since she wanted to go, but she knew that getting on her daughter's bad side is a foolish thing to do, if not outright suicidal, even though she hoped her status as her mother would save her, she didn't want to take that chance without a good reason.

"Alright, I'm going Mom!" Naruko chirped, giving her mother a quick hug before she dashed out of the castle where Haku was waiting patiently.

The pair shot off towards Orochimaru's base, once they arrived they decided to go with the stealthy approach, after all, they didn't know if the Snake was here or not and they'd rather not waste energy fighting a battle that can be avoided.

Quietly entering the base, they moved from room to room checking each for Naruko's lost cousin, they passed multiple guards and left them alive since it would be easier than killing them and having to hide the bodies.

After a while of no luck, they spotted her working in a lab, with a couple of what must have been her coworkers. Deciding it would be wise to wait for the girl to be alone they positioned themselves in two corners, close to the ceiling.

Naruko's arms felt like jelly, she hadn't had to maintain a position like this for this long before and she found the new situation a miserable one. Just when she felt like she'd slip, Karin left the room, heading out the door that was directly below her.

Glad to move her numb arms she quickly slipped out after her, followed closely by Haku. As they followed the girl she interacted with a couple of men and women, getting glares from a few. She finally entered a room after taking a few turns and was alone.

Hand-signing at Haku to watch the door from the hall, Naruko slipped in behind the girl and once again found herself in a corner, this time standing, observing her cousin, trying to find a way to introduce herself without scaring the girl to death.

Realizing there was none, she went with quiet and simple, and cleared her throat… Karin visibly jumped and whipped her head to stare at her, her eyes growing wide when their eyes met.

"Who are you? How did you get here? What do you want with me?" Karin asked rabidly.

Naruko raised her hands in a placating gesture "Woah, woah, one at a time… to answer your first question… My name is Naruko Uzumaki Namikaze."

Karin's jaw dropped "U-Uzumaki?" She asked, dumbstruck.

Naruko only nodded "Now… your second question, I snuck in here and followed you from your lab."

"What! You were following me for that long? But I didn't sense you?"

"No… you did not… Me and my associate both have trained to mask our chakra perfectly, after all, I am a sensor too."

"You are?" Karin asked, skeptical.

"Yes…" Naruko nodded "Now… for your third question, I want you to return home with me."

"What!? Why!?"

"I thought that was simple…. We're family and family sticks together." Naruko said with a soft smile.

"Family?" Karin asked as if testing the word on her tongue "I've always wanted one of those…" she whispered, she then looked at Naruko with hopeful and pleading eyes "You can get me out of here?"

"Yes, I have someone at my castle waiting for my signal to reverse summon me and anyone who is holding on to me." She then grinned a foxy grin "No one will know you're gone until tomorrow at the earliest!"

Karin blinked then smiled a megawatt smile "Then let's get the hell out of here!"

Naruko happily nodded and knocked on the door to the room four times, after a moment it opened and a girl slipped in and stood next to her "Alright, both of you touch my shoulders, and I'll give the signal." The girls did and with that, the trio of girls vanished in a puff of smoke.

Kushina watched with pride as her daughter, Haku, and Karin appeared in front of her with a puff of smoke, summoning contracts were amazing. 'Wonder if I should tell her about that contract? She'd definitely make use of it, although I'm worried about what would happen if she failed their test… then again, she managed to gain the respect of the Xenomorphs, and they're on par with them in the fear factor.'

Deciding she'd mention it after the exams, she put it in the back of her mind. Approaching her daughter, she smiled "I see you were successful, did anyone see you?"

"Nope!" Naruko beamed "We were in and out as fast and quietly as we could!"

"Great job!" She turned to look down a corridor to her left "Fuka! Come meet your cousin!" After a pause, quick footsteps could be heard approaching, before a nearly identical copy of Naruko entered the room, her short blonde hair done in a low ponytail, mismatched eyes, one a striking violet, the other azure blue like her sister. She was wearing a crimson short-sleeved muscle shirt, a black sleeveless flak jacket over it, crimson long-sleeved shinobi gloves with black arm guards, and crimson skin-tight pants tucked into black shinobi boots with black shin guards.

Karin had to admit, the girl looked good in that outfit, Fuka jogged over and smiled at her Mother, then she smiled at her sister, before finally grinning at Karin.

"It's nice to meet you, my name is Fuka!" She outstretched her hand in greeting.

Karin slowly grabbed her hand and began to say "It's nice to meet y-" before she gasped in surprise when Fuka pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'm so happy you're here!" Fuka cheered, squeezing the life out of Karin.

Shaking her head in amusement, Kushina decided to help Karin out by calling her daughter off of her "Fuka, my windflower, you're choking her."

Fuka yelped and released the poor girl, who nearly collapsed, only to be caught by Naruko "Sorry about her, she's a hugger." She said with a smile."

"I noticed…" Karin coughed out.

It was time for the chunin exam finals, and Naruko was approaching the village in a pitch-black carriage that was pulled by two Xeno Striders, she was there with Kushina, Fuka, Haku, and Karin.

Kushina had her hair tied into a high ponytail, she wore a dark green long-sleeved shirt, a black Jonin flak jacket over it, she had a black headband with the new symbol for Spring Country, which was a tree with the branches and leaves in the shape of a spiral, on its forehead protector, it was wrapped around her right bicep, a gold Necklace with the same symbol as the headband attached to it hung from her neck, she had on dark green shinobi pants that were tucked into black shinobi boots.

Fuka wore a crimson long-sleeved shirt, and a gray Chunin flak jacket over it, she had a crimson headband with the Spring Country symbol on its forehead protector, it was wrapped snugly around her head, her blonde hair tied into a ponytail, she wore crimson shinobi pants that were tucked into black shinobi boots.

Haku let her hair fall down her back, before being tied at the end by a hairpin. She wore a dark blue long-sleeved shirt, a black Jonin flak jacket over it, she had a dark blue headband with the Spring Country symbol on its forehead protector, it was hanging from her neck, she had on dark blue shinobi pants that were tucked into black shinobi boots.

Karin let her hair flow freely, it sticking up in an odd way to the right. She wore a lavender long-sleeved shirt, with a gray Chunin flak jacket over it, she had her lavender headband, with the Spring Country symbol on its forehead protector, wrapped around her right thigh, she had on lavender shinobi pants that were tucked into black shinobi boots.

Naruko stood out more than the others, she let her long sun-kissed blonde hair flow eloquently down her back, a gold crown rested on her head the symbol of Spring Country engraved into it, her jaw-length bangs hung over the crown and framed her face as usual. She had on a dark gray long-sleeved shirt, a black Jonin flak jacket with a black cloak over it, with gold flames lining the bottom hem, with the Kanji for "Spring Daimyo" written down the back in gold (picture Minato's cloak but the white is black and the red is gold), she had on dark gray skin-tight shinobi pants that were tucked into black knee-high shinobi boots. All in all, she looked regal, terrifying, beautiful, and deadly.

As the group exited the carriage they were flanked by various shinobi, all sporting the Spring Country's symbol, the large group entered the village and headed for the chunin exams stadium. When they entered multiple heads turned to look at them, followed by numerous gasps, they ignored them and approached the Daimyo booth, Naruko took her seat next to the Daimyo of Wind Country who came to watch his team in the finals.

As she sat down, Kushina, Fuka, Haku, and Karin took the immediate seats behind her, the shinobi that followed them taking a standing position behind them, all on guard. There were also 10 Xeno Drones hiding in the shadow out of sight, prepared to attack at any moment.

The Wind Daimyo looked at her and smiled "It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm afraid I don't know your name. I am Futa Ranto (Wind Storm/Tempest)"

She gave him a slight bow in respect. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, my name is Naruko Uzumaki Namikaze and I'm the current Daimyo of Spring Country."

Futa looked shocked at the name but quickly gathered himself "I see, then they must be your family." He gestured toward Kushina and the others.

"Yes, they've come with me and I've left someone capable in charge of my Country until I return."

Futa laughed at this "I'm impressed, so young, yet you're clearly a competent ruler, and so polite too."

"Thank you, I try to be respectful during important business," Naruko said as the final part of the exams began.

She chose to ignore the fights, since she was only here to fulfill her role as a Daimyo, since it's traditional for each Daimyo to appear for the final part of the exams. She had one other reason to be there, but that could wait a while.

As she was sitting someone was making their way over to her, he had left his seat in the Kage box vacant and entered the Daimyo box, and approached Naruko.

Hiruzen Sarutobi stood to her right and cleared his throat, gaining the young girl's attention. "Naruko, what are you doing?"

Naruko was confused by the question, so she asked one of her own. "What do you mean?"

"I mean… what are you doing acting like the Daimyo of Spring Country?"

Naruko furrowed her eyebrows at this "Acting? I'm not acting… I am the Daimyo."

The Wind Daimyo had been listening in to the conversation, and he wasn't a fan of the Hokage from Fire Country questioning the integrity of the young lady who managed to become a Daimyo, no matter his reasoning, there's definitely a better time for it.

"What about being Hokage? Wasn't that your dream?"

Naruko nodded "It was… It no longer is." She stated simply.

"Why not?" He pressed further.

Kushina began to get annoyed at the old man, but she was curious to see how her daughter would handle this, Kushina will step in if she felt it was required.

"Why would I lead a village, when I could lead a whole Country?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hiruzen didn't know what to say to refute that accurate point, so he just sighed and looked the girl in the eyes "You're not coming back, are you?"

"Nope." She didn't say anymore, but she planned to offer the people she cared about a new position in the Hidden Village she has in the works. She was still thinking of a name and location, she has the funds ready she just needs to put it into action.

Hiruzen returned to his seat, obviously troubled by this news. He saw the girl as his granddaughter, but she also was the Jinchuriki of the 9-tails, and there are unsavory people who wouldn't hesitate to kidnap her, although the presence of Kushina was comforting, the woman was feared by many people.

Naruko turned her attention towards the 3rd Kazekage and noticed the odd look he was giving her, it was a strange mixture of confusion, anger, and… admiration? She decided to be a smartass and waved mockingly at him, causing him to sneer and turn his head back toward the fights.

Doing the same she noticed that a couple of fights had already passed, and now they were waiting for Sasuke to arrive, all the while a kid with red hair stood impatiently. After a time, the emo bastard finally showed up, deciding she really didn't want to see her old teammate fight. She pulled out her scroll where she wrote down her plans and ideas for her new shinobi village.

'Wonder what I should call it?' She mused in her mind.

'What about Harugakure (Hidden Spring Village, I think?).' Kurami suggested.

Naruko mentally hummed 'Simple, and effective… I like it!' She wrote the name down on the scroll 'Now… How do I decide on the first Kage (Shadow)?'

'There's always Haku…' Kurami began but Naruko cut her off.

'Out of the question, not only would she outright refuse since it would mean she couldn't be by my side, and you know how seriously she takes that…. I'd also miss her company.' She said the last part with a hint of embarrassment.

Kurami caught it and gained a foxy smirk 'Aw, does my little Naru have a crush on her second in command?' She teased the young Namikaze.

Naruko, for her part, blushed which gained her a confused look from the Wind Daimyo, who had happened to glance in her direction when the fight down below moved that way.

'N-No…' Naruko began but trailed off, before clearing her throat. 'Anyway, Haku will not be the Harukage. My mother's out since she's only just begun to regain her past strength, Fuka is inexperienced and doesn't have the strength to be a Kage yet.'

'Koyuki isn't a Shinobi, so she definitely is not on the list.' Koyuki added.

Naruko nodded her agreement, she was about to continue before an explosion in the Kage box broke her from her thoughts.

"What the hell?" She called out and was about to jump at the Kage box when a roar echoed from the arena floor, looking, she saw the redhead bound off into the woods in a berserk state, cursing under her breath she looked at her Mother. "Mom, do you think you and Fuka can handle a Jinchuriki?"

Kushina thought for a second and looked at her daughter "I believe so, it would be a difficult fight with just me, but with Fuka and a few Xeno Brutes, we should be able to handle it.

Naruko nodded and summoned 30 Xeno Brutes "Is this enough?" She hastily asked, getting an affirmative nod "Okay, go! Haku, and the rest, follow me to the Kage box." With that everyone followed their orders and went to do their tasks.

Orochimaru was taunting Hiruzen about his failure, and how he was going to kill him today. He was broken from his monologue when an ear-piercing shriek slammed into his ears, causing the whole fight to come to an end almost as soon as it began.

Looking around his eyes widen when he looked caught site of the 9-tails brat, who had somehow became the Spring Daimyo, standing with what he could only describe as a monster behind her, she stepped up to the barrier and looked at the red-headed member of the sound four.

"Will you please lower the barrier, I'll spare your life along with anyone you deem worthy of the same kindness."

Tayuya had seen some shit in her short life, but this… this was fucking insane. She barely heard the plea and offer from the blonde, she had half the mind to make a smart-ass reply but something in her gut told her not to. Deciding that her life was more valuable than her loyalty to the Snake bastard she did as asked and jumped behind the girl.

Naruko turned to the girl and smirked "Wise choice." She then turned back to Orochimaru. "Yo!"

Orochimaru just sweatdropped at her nonchalant response to his presence. He was also angry about it as well.

He chuckled in his usual creepy way "You're an interesting girl, to think that you aren't afraid of me."

Naruko deadpanned at that and slowly pointed at Kagemi. "This… is my summons… do you really think you're scarier than her?"

Orochimaru glanced at the large creature behind the girl and felt his pride take a hit. She wasn't wrong, even he had to admit that it was a little intimidating though he'd never say that out loud.

"Ha! Your little pet doesn't scare me!" Orochimaru boasted.

"Really? Ya know, I found out you had something planned for these exams…" she placed her hands on her hips "Should've known you would try to kill the old man in some kind of lame revenge scheme."

Orochimaru bristled, this brat not only broke into two of his hidden bases but also figured out his plan and had the gall to mock it and call it lame.

"How dare you mock me, my revenge is justified!" He claimed.

"I'm all for getting revenge, but when that revenge involves the lives of innocents, that's when it becomes stupid and lame. For a man as smart as you, you really can't find a method of revenge other than this?" Naruko said in a mocking tone.

This made Orochimaru angry, mainly because he couldn't deny it. Contrary to popular belief, he wasn't always evil, his pursuit of immortality consumed his being and twisted his actions over time.

"Shut up, I will kill my Sensei for his betrayal!"

"Betrayal?" She questioned, then looked at Hiruzen. "I thought Orochimaru left the village in his quest for power?"

"He did…" Hiruzen began but was cut off by Orochimaru.

"Ha! I left because you and that old mummy Danzo ran me off after my experiments that you sanctioned got leaked to the public, and instead of admitting that you were involved you both dumped all the blame on me."

Naruko frowned at that, and she would have felt a little pity for the man, however, there was one thing that would never let her forgive the man.

"That's a sad story and all, but I have a quest for revenge as well." She said, not giving much away.

"Oh? And who's your target?" He asked.

"You…" she said, her tone doing a 180 from calm and cheerful, to cold and a little sadistic.

He was put off for a second by the tone switch, but regained his composure and asked "Why is that?"

"Why?" She asked, her voice slowly rising in pitch "Why?" It was now a near yell "You kidnap my mother and sister on the day I was born and have the balls to ask me why?" She was now screaming.

Everyone on the roof was staring in shock at this new information, none more so than Hiruzen, who was regretting not killing his student when he had the chance.

Orochimaru didn't respond, he just flew through hand seals and performed the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu. Three coffins rose from the roof and stood I'm front of everyone, causing Hiruzen to go pale.

"You'd violate the dead for your revenge!" He demanded.

Naruko looked intrigued by the Jutsu he used, and decided to voice her question "What Jutsu is that?"

"Impure World Reincarnation is a Jutsu that brings the dead back to life for a short time, however, they don't have free will. Forced to follow the orders of the one who summoned them." Hiruzen decided to answer the girl's curiosity.

"Interesting…" she then turned her thoughts inward to Kurami 'Hey, do you think we should make an effort to learn that Jutsu? Never know when we might need it.'

Kurami hummed in thought 'It won't be easy, the only two people who can teach it to you are right in front of you. One is the man you, your mother, and your sister hate, the other is a man you know will never teach you.'

Naruko somehow snorted in her own thoughts "Ha! He won't even give me my inheritance.'

'Exactly, so our only option is to steal both the forbidden scroll and your inheritance.' Kurami stated.

'Hmm… the question is how…' Naruko mused before getting a glint in her eye, she spoke to Kagemi telepathically 'Hey, Kagemi! Send 5 Xeno Drones to retrieve the Uzumaki and Namikaze clan scrolls and my inheritance. Send one other Xeno Drone to steal the forbidden scroll, destroy the walls if necessary.'

Kagemi responded with a 'Yes, my King!' and followed her orders.

Satisfied, Naruko returned her attention back to the fight, only to see a sight that shocked her to her core… her father stood in front of her, blocking an attack from the second Hokage who had been ordered by Orochimaru to kill her while she was lost in her thoughts.

"D-Dad?" She asked, stupified.

He turned his head to look at her from the corner of his eyes and flashed her a grin "Hey! You've grown into a beautiful girl, how's your mother and sister?"

She didn't answer, all she could do was stare. She was broken from her trance when her dad blocked a kick from the second Hokage, she asked the important question "How? I thought you were supposed to be under Orochimaru's control?"

"Normally, yeah… But since I gave my soul to the Shinigami only he has control of my soul."

"Huh?" Was her brilliant response.

Minato just chuckled and said, "I'll explain better after this fight, after all, it is part of the reason the Shinigami let me come back for a time."

With that said, he returned his attention back to the fight and began to fight the second Hokage on equal ground.

Naruko, deciding she didn't want to miss out on the fight, directed Kagemi to aid Hiruzen against Orochimaru. Immediately turning the battle in their favor.

Orochimaru was pissed, his plans were going up in smoke in front of him, he didn't account for the Jinchuriki to return as the Daimyo of Spring Country, nor for her to have a summoning contract. He also didn't expect for Minato to resist and fight his control when he summoned him from the Shinigami's stomach.

Realizing he was quickly losing the battle he retreated, losing his arms in the process when Hiruzen sacrificed his soul to seal them away in the Shinigami's stomach.

After everything was said and done, Minato approached Naruko and pulled her into a hug. She froze for a second before returning the hug full force, glancing over his shoulder she saw her mother and sister land on the roof. She watched as Kushina froze and went pale, staring at Minato's back.

"M-Minato?" She hesitantly questioned.

Her voice caught Minato's attention, and he promptly turned around and locked eyes with her. "Kushina? You survived the extraction of the 9-tails!" He exclaimed with excitement.

Kushina winced at that and looked at her feet. "Th-That is a long story…"

Minato noticed the shift in her mood and sat down, gesturing for her to do the same. "Explain, I have time as long as I don't do the second thing the Shinigami wanted me to do."

This made question marks appear above Naruko and Kushina's heads, while Fuka was lost throughout the whole conversation, not knowing that her father was standing in front of her.

Sighing, Kushina sat down, Fuka beside her, Naruko beside Minato. She began explaining her life for the past 13 years, up until Naruko freed them, while Naruko described her life in Konoha, the hatred, the beatings on her birthday, how Sasuke pushed her off the bridge in Wave, nearly drowning, becoming the Daimyo of Spring Country, and the Xenomorph summoning contract.

To say Minato was shocked and angry would have been an understatement, Kushina too was just as angry since some of the things Naruko mentioned were news to her.

"Those idiots, after I sacrificed my life for them they treated you like that?" Minato said, anger evident in his voice.

"It's alright, I endured it and now I'm free from Konoha," Naruko tried to reassure her father.

It didn't do much to quell his anger, but he also knew he had a job to do. Turning to Naruko he began "Even though I would love to embarrass those villagers and make them regret the way they treated you, it's not the reason the Shinigami allowed me to come back."

"Why did the Shinigami send you back?" Kushina asked, intrigued.

"Two reasons, the first was to prevent Orochimaru from using the Impure World Reincarnation and bringing the dead back with evil intentions. The second was to return half of the 9-tails that I sealed in me to you. I was initially opposed but he explained to me that you and the fox are on good terms and he felt you would benefit from this now rather than later." He explained.

Naruko and Kurami's eyes widened. "What!" They both exclaimed in sync, although only Naruko could be heard by the others.

Minato chuckled "Figured you'd react like that…" he then looked away from the trio of women "Okay, Lord Shinigami, you can begin the process now, we're ready!"

His voice echoed off the rooftop and after a few moments of silence the air grew cold and a chill ran down their spines. The Shinigami rose from the ground and glanced at the trio.

"You took your time, Minato…" it said in a deep, cold voice.

Minato sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, sorry about that, I learned some… interesting things about my family's life."

The Shinigami nodded. "I figured you would, which is why I'll let the fact that you made me wait slide for now, and just get along with the process of putting your half of the 9-tails inside of Naruko.

Minato nodded in appreciation "Thanks for that, so let's begin."

"Yes, let's…" the Shinigami said, turning towards the girl "Lay on your back next to your father and I'll begin fair warning, this will hurt… a lot."

Naruko hesitantly lay next to her father and prepared herself for the pain. No amount of preparation could help her when the pain erupted from her gut as the lost half of Kurami's chakra entered her seal, Kurami herself was in pain as well.

After a few moments of agonizing pain, it stopped as suddenly as it started. Naruko was huffing in pain on the ground while Kushina, Fuka, and a newly bijuu free Minato looked down at her in worry.

"Are you alright, sweetie?" Kushina asked her daughter.

Naruko looked at her, and a pained grin stretched across her face. "I feel like I was crushed by a house."

Minato outstretched his hand to her, which she took and was pulled to her feet, gritting her teeth in pain as she did so. "How do both of your chakras feel?" He asked both Naruko and Kurami.

"I'm going to have to retrain my chakra control, but other than that… we're fine, in fact, Kurami says she feels better than ever."

Minato grinned hearing that "I'm glad, Kurami being complete will make you both stronger."

Naruko smiled then turned to the Shinigami and bowed "Thank you, Lord Shinigami."

The Shinigami smirked "Respectful, I like it. Not many brats your age know what respect is."

Naruko smirked back "Yes, Lord Shinigami, I'm the ruler of Spring Country, I need to be respectful."

The Shinigami nodded in agreement. "Excellent point, you're a good leader." He then took a thinking pose "I might recommend you to Lady Kami (God) for a high role in the Impure World."

Naruko's eyes widened "No, no, no, I couldn't accept something like that." She shook her head violently to accentuate her point.

"No?" The Shinigami asked, taking a thinking pose once again. "How about being reincarnated in another world? That's the second best thing she could offer."

Naruko was about to say no again, but her mother cut her off. "Is this deal only for her? Or does it apply to her family as well?"

The Shinigami looked at her "I can't answer that, it's up to Kami herself. However, seeing as I haven't even asked her yet there's no point in dwelling on it."

Kushina nodded "How would we know if she agrees to this?"

"I'll inform Naruko when the time comes since I'm linked to her via the seal." He answered her question, before turning to Naruko "So, young one, if Kami agrees with this would you accept it?"

Naruko looked down in thought before looking at him in his silver eyes. "Why did you even offer me this?"

The Shinigami hummed at the question, seeing it as a good and valid one to ask. "First is that I can see your soul is pure, even if you're doing impure things you only do those things because they're necessary. Second, you were not supposed to be treated like you were, Kami herself has admitted to feeling guilty about the bad hand you were dealt, since a pure soul like you normally lives a life of happiness."

Naruko looked down in thought. In truth, she was scared of the idea of going to a new world once she dies, but one other question needed to be asked. "What does that mean for my father and mother? Dad is already dead and my mom will most likely die before me."

"A good question, you don't need to worry, Kami would hold on to their souls until the time comes when you die, that also applies to your sister on the off chance she dies before you." He explained.

Naruko nodded at that, and turned to her family "What do you guys say? I don't want to answer without hearing your opinions first."

Minato grinned at her "I for one would love a second chance to be a father and a husband again. But I do have one question for you, Lord Shinigami."

"Ask…" it said, gesturing for him to do so.

"If we get reincarnated, would we keep our abilities, knowledge, skills, and power?"

"You'll have to ask Kami that, though I doubt she'd disagree since it's a simple request."

Fuka spoke up "Would our appearances change?"

"That depends on you and Kami, so that's a question for her, not me."

"I'm completely down for it, as long as I have my family." Kushina pumped a fist in the air in excitement.

"So I take it, you all agree?" The Shinigami asked, getting nods from the three, he turned to Naruko "So, what about you?"

"If they agree, then so do I." She said with a smile.

The Shinigami nodded in confirmation. "Okay, I'll bring this idea up to Kami when I return. Until next time." It said before disappearing, along with Minato, who waved goodbye as he left.

"Reincarnation huh?" Kushina mused. "Should be fun, It feels odd to look forward to dying."

"Mom! It's not even set in stone yet! Also, don't go rushing to die. I'd miss you too much!" Naruko exclaimed in surprise and panic.

Kushina looked sheepish. "You're right, sorry sweetie. I guess I got too excited."

Fuka and Naruko shook their heads at their mother's antics. 6 thumps were heard behind Naruko who turned to see the 6 Xeno Drones she'd sent to gather the scrolls, they dropped them on the ground in front of her.

"You guys did it, good." She gave each of them a scratch under the chin. "Now, I need to seal them into a smaller scroll for easy transport."

Once she'd finished she turned to her mother, sister, and Haku (Who the writer forgot about) "Let's go back home, we have what I came for."

Kushina was shocked by this news "Wait, we came here to claim our inheritance and belongings?"

"Yes. Although the scroll of secrets was a spur-of-the-moment thing." She began walking back towards the carriage, not caring about the burning village around her, mainly because she had more important matters to attend to, such as finding her estranged Godmother and Godfather. Kushina herself has a few choice words for the pair.

With their business done in Konoha, they set off in the direction of Spring Country.

I know the section where I mentioned them being reincarnated is random, but I couldn't think of another moment that would be fitting, besides a near-death experience later on or in the epilogue. I don't trust myself to remember by then, so I jumped the gun now.

Plus, not many people do something like this during the Chunin exams arc. So I felt it would be an interesting change, though I do wonder if it was a bit too extreme.

Also, sorry for the lack of description for the fights, I realized this chapter was going to be longer than chapter 2 and I wanted to get the whole reincarnation discussion in beforehand.
