All four of The Heavenly Kings were defeated, but the battle for Tigenhoff still raged. Two more powerful enemies remained, Zenos Road, and Mary Sioux. And both were keeping Seiya, Ethox and Tanya on the defensive.

With Mary, Being X had supercharged her magical capabilities, as she was now capable of firing omnidirectional lasers from her rifle. She blasted one after the other at Ethox and Tanya, not even minding all her missed blasts were causing massive destruction to the city.

"Stop it, Mary! Your magic's too powerful, it's destroying the whole city!" Ethox said, firing back at her with a Ragnarok Shotlock.

"Then stay still and let me shoot you!" Mary said.

"Like we'd ever do that!" Tanya replied as she blasted bullets from Anson's former machine gun at his daughter, making her dodge as she tried to blast them with her hi-powered laser again, but the two of them evaded. "We're wasting time…! Seiya's on the defensive against Zenos Road, and this girl's not letting us go assist him!"

"I gotta go to Seiya to give him something… but Mary won't let us." Ethox said. "We have to get this done before it's too late!"

"That's not exactly an option here!" Tanya pointed out as they avoided another optical style spell that sliced through the buildings around them. "Agh… die already!" Tanya fired once again at Mary, who yelled and clashed her rifle with Tanya's and Ethox's Keyblade.

"Die, both of you! You both killed my father!" Mary said.

"What did we do to you?!" Tanya yelled.

"I think she just told us…" Ethox said.

"Don't mess with me!" Mary yelled.

"I never mess around with work!" Tanya replied.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Mary yelled. "I'll kill you both! I'll kill every last one of you in that demented guild! I swear it! I'll kill you all!"

Tanya gritted her teeth before she saw a shadow looming over them.

"Heads up, shortstack…!" Seiya's voice called as Mary disengaged as the Cautious Hero slammed into Tanya and Ethox and sent them both crashing into a building.

"Seiya? What are you doing here?! Shouldn't you be fighting Zenos?" Ethox asked.

"I am." Seiya answered.

That's when Zenos Road appeared, flying in the air.

"I just needed a breather." Seiya finished.

"Where are you, hero? Running away like always?" Zenos asked.

"He giving you a hard time too?" Ethox asked.

"I've been doing damage, but it's not nearly enough. It's wearing him down though." Seiya said. "But running into you guys is perfect timing. I've worn out all my Platinum swords. All but one."

"Great. While you're stuck with that demon lord, we're busy dealing with someone who's gone crazy with revenge." Tanya said. "I mean, what's wrong with her? Bringing her personal feelings to the battlefield? How stupid can she be?"

"Calling the kettle black, aren't you?" Seiya asked.

"Seiya's right, Tanya. You told me last night that Mary chose to fight because she wants revenge, and she's not leaving until we're all dead. And here you are, complaining about what you've got yourself in." Ethox said.

Tanya gasped, before looking at her reflection in a puddle. She then took a relaxing breath.

"...I'm such an idiot. You're right Ethox, at times, I'm no different from her. This isn't an adventure, it's work." Tanya said.

"And at times like this, there's no room for emotions." Ethox said, Tanya and Seiya looking at him. "If Mary refuses to see me as anything than a murderer, then…then…"

Ethox summons his Keyblade, not a single emotion visible on his face.

"...I will become that murderer…once again." he finished robotically as he leaped out of the building.

"Scarface…?" Seiya asked, a trace of worry present in his tone.

"Dammit, I'm the one who's supposed to shove my emotions down right now, not him. What the hell is he doing…?" Tanya said as she stood up.

"Dunno. But let's not let our bossman become a cold-blooded killer. He wouldn't be able to live with it." Seiya said, pulling out his last Platnium Sword. "You go after him. I'll keep Zenos busy."

"And once I snap him out of it, it's time for your secret weapon?" Tanya asked.

"Figured he'd tell you that." Seiya sighed. "Just get him back." he said before flying off.

"Damn it, you're not supposed to give me orders…" Tanya growled before she flew off after the Nobody.

Meanwhile, Ethox had swiftly re-engaged Mary, this time holding nothing back. Mary launched herself at Ethox in a rage, but now that Ethox had terminated all his emotions, he countered all of Mary's reckless attacks and quickly followed up with his own, striking the girl numerous times all across the battlefield, not saying a single word.

The two eventually made their way to the roof of a church, each of them on one side of a spire. Tanya flew as fast as she could, eventually seeing them duke it out.

"If this keeps up, Ethox will actually have blood on his hands he won't be able take back. No choice…!" Tanya said as her Type 95 started glowing. While it was charging up, both Ethox and Mary clashed with each other on the roof, destroying it, before Ethox brought the whole belltower down on Mary, causing it to crash and obscuring her vision. That was the opening Ethox needed to tackle her to the ground, and stare up at the Nobody who had the eyes of a void.

"So this is who you really are… you're a devil…a monster!" Mary said.

"For you…yes." Ethox said, gripping his Keyblade and slowly raising it up to deal the final blow.

"Dearest lord…give me the strength…to keep him from becoming me." Tanya gritted her teeth. "Oh god, grant forgiveness to us sinners."

Ethox had his Keyblade fully raised up high.

"Disappear." Ethox said, prepare to deliver the coup de grace, before the smoke cleared and Tanya was right above them both, locked on with a massive explosive spell. "Tanya…What are you doing?"

"I prayed to keep you from killing her. See what you made me do?" Tanya asked. "Now I pray that he guides you to his presence."

"No!" Mary cried.

Ethox snapped back, letting all his emotions flow again. "Tanya, dont…!"

But Tanya pulled the trigger and let her explosive spell round fly. Mary got her shield up just in time, and Ethox dodged out of the way as the explosion destroyed the entire church, seemingly obliterating Mary.

Ethox coughed as he got away from the smoke and to another building as he went back to Tanya. "What the heck did you do that for?! Were you trying to kill us both?!"

"If you had no emotions, you would've stood there and took it for the sake of the job." Tanya said. "If you still are unfeeling, then why are you angry?"

"I…" Ethox started before he stopped. "...I almost messed up, didn't I?"

"Yes." Tanya stated.

"But…I don't understand. You're the one who said that emotions don't belong out here in places like this." Ethox said.

"That only applies to me and everyone in the war. Not you, you idiot!" Tanya said. "Emotions… they're what made you the kind of person that got me to join you. You…damn it all, I'm actually saying this…you made me a better person. I'd still be that salaryman who saw everyone as just a means to an end if it weren't for you. And for all the headaches, the nonsense, the danger you've gotten us in…I can't thank you enough."

"Tanya…" Ethox said before smacking himself. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been such an idiot and tried to do things your way. I shouldn't lower myself to kill because I think someone thinks it's necessary. Besides, Mary's not a demon. She's human."

"That's right. And you can't live with taking a human life. That's blood on your hands you can't live with." Tanya said. "I'll stay here and clean up the mess here. You finish Seiya's story."

"Seiya… agh, that's right! I totally forgot! He's counting on me to give him that!" Ethox said. "I can leave Mary to you now, right?"

"She won't be a problem after she took an explosion to the face. Now go before Seiya's demon food." Tanya said as Ethox made his way back to Seiya.

Ethox was able to make it back to Seiya relatively quickly as he saw him pushed back again. He had taken some damage, but Zenos Road wasn't without damage either. All the strikes from his sword were doing damage, but not enough to kill him.

"Seiya!" Ethox said, going to his side. "Sorry for the bad judgment call. I almost jeopardized your whole plan. Is he down to less than 50% HP yet?"

"No." Seiya stated before a strike from Zenos shattered Seyia's last sword, sending him tumbling across the ground.

"You've caused me more trouble than any hero who's come before you, Cautious Hero. But you seem to have forgotten one thing: I am invincible!" Zenos declared.

Ethox then checked Zenos's hp stats, and saw that he was almost down to half his HP. All it would take was one more good strike.

"Now, finally….it's time for you to say goodbye. This is the end of your adventure. And the end of your destined partner's time as a goddess!" Zenos said, looking for a death blow with one of his claws, but suddenly…

"Zoro… I'm gonna borrow one one of your moves again, I'll send you the bill later! " Ethox said, rushing at Zenos with Way of the east glowing, the source coming from the dragon scripture on the blade. "Great Dragon Shock!" he called, striking Zenos from behind as he cut right through him, a diagonal slash seen on his body as the demon lord screamed in pain.

And as this happened, Ethox and Seiya both saw it: Finally, Zeno's HP had been reduced to 50% of its full points!

"That was entirely desperate." Seiya said.

"But it worked, he's cut down to half his HP!" Ethox said.

"An impressive display…but a hopeless one." Zenos chuckled. "Now that I've returned to full power, the only weapon that can kill me is Igzacion, but you neglected to sacrifice one of the dragonkin in your party to make it. You have run out of weapons, but forging a new one now won't do you any good. There is no weapon known to any race that can kill me now!"

"...You have a point." Seiya said. "There's no weapon that can kill you…on Gaeabrande, that is."

"Hm?" Zenos questioned at the hero's statement.

"No weapon on Gaeabrande…but a weapon from another world…that's another story." Seiya said, thinking back.

Flash back to a few months ago, after the defeat of Odio…

"Wait, you want me to do what?!" a voice asked.

"You heard me, Jack Frost." Seiya said, who was revealed to be talking to David. "I want the blueprints for making a weapon like that one."

"You do realize…that this is a blade forged to kill gods you're talking about, right?" David asked.

"Yeah, but I'm not looking to kill a god with it, I'm forging it to kill a demon lord. One so stupidly OP, that…no amount of training or skills is going to help me kill him. I…I really need your help here, David."

"Well, I'm not saying it's impossible. But the materials required to replicate it would no doubt be extremely rare." David said.

"That's my problem, not yours. All I need from you are blueprints." Seiya said.

"Heh. That's just like you, Seiya. Alright, let's do it. I'll get the blueprints ready in a couple of hours." David said.

"Ethox, pull it out." Seiya said.

"Right!" Ethox said, before drawing a sword Zenos recognized immediately.

"That's…the warmaster's God Eater!" the demon lord realized.

"Yup. It's the perfect base for making Igzasions best replacement." Seiya said as he took out a bag of materials and placed it on God Eater, before using synthesis. "And you're gonna hate what I turn this thing into."

God Eater glowed as the materials inside fused with the blade, before it became slimmer and sharper, turning into a black colored version of a blade that made Zenos's eyes widen.

"No… it's totally impossible, but it is!" Zenos said, seeing the full blade, and knowing exactly what it was. "You made your own version of Masakado!?"

"My own God killing sword… specifically designed to kill overpowered demon lords." Seiya said. "Now, you were saying something about being invincible?"

"Grr… Ishihara, damn you! Would it kill that upstart punk to leave us demons be?!" Zenos Road asked in shock.

"Zenos Road! It's time to put your schemes to an end!" Ethox declared, standing alongside Seiya.

"You're out of luck, bro. You'll be the first kill…of Masakado Black!" Seiya said.

"No…I've come too far to let it end here." Zenos stated as he powered up. "Kill me if you can, Seiya Ryuuguuin & Ethox Starcrest!"

"Bring it on…Zenos Road!" the two adventurers responded in kind.

Cockroach Demon Lord

Zenos Road

Seiya and Ethox, two of the original members of the Fatebreakers that started it all, stared down Zenos Road, before both sides charged at each other and clashed in an epic shock wave. After that, the battle became a flurry of claws, blades and skills, as the final battle between hero and Demon Lord truly began.

Zenos Road knocked Ethox away to get him out of the fight, only for the Nobody to plant his feet on a wall and jump back, slashing Zenos upon his reentry.

Zenos reload then unleashed a flurry of energy slashes from all of his claws, but Ethox deflected them all with his Ox Discipline's Horned Barrier. He then switched to his Tiger Discipline and repaired Zenos's earlier attack with a combo attack together with Seiya.

But Zenos road continued to slash his demonic claws, his reach impeccable as both of them backstabbed to avoid every deadly slash that could kill them in one blow.

"C'mon, you guys, get in there!" Kat called.

"We gotta get in close, where he can't use that size and reach on us!" Ethox said to Seiya.

"Yeah, obviously!" Seiya said as the two of them dashed in close to Zenos's body, both invoking Eternal Sword and hacking away at his chest with Way of the East and Masakado back to back, Zenos unable to defend himself since they were attacking at such close range.

This forced the Demon Lord to jump back, where the two saw his eyes glowing red. "Evil Eye!"

"Not this time, bug man!" Ethox declared. "Stopza!"

The time stop canceled out the Evil Eye skill, allowing Seiya and Ethox to get out of range of the skill before time started moving again.

"What?! When did you…?!" Zenos Road asked in shock.

"It was the only spell Xehanort ever taught me in my memories, before Theo got killed." Ethox said, before charging right at Zenos road and leaping into the air. "And this one's from his Majesty King Mickey himself! Ultima!"

A blast of brilliant light shot out from the tip of Ethox's Keyblade, blinding Zenos Road and dealing him immense damage as he tried to shield himself from the light with all his arms.

But that only left him wide open as Seiya charged in, Masakado Black at the ready.

"You won't be needing those anymore!" Seiya declared, as in one decisive Atomic Split slash he cut off all six of his arms.

"ARGH! My arms! Damn you!" Zenos Road shouted.

"At least we didn't aim for the head." Ethox said.

Zenos Road growled as he leaped into the air, then charged up a single blast.

"You should have aimed for my head… because now, I'm about to turn you two, and this entire city, Imperials and Federationists and all on this world, into nothing but ashes!" Zenos Road declared. "All of you, burn in the deepest pits in the fires of hell! Judgement Zero!" he declared.

"Seiya, get on!" Ethox called, with a sense of urgency in his voice as he prepared to use his arms and Keyblade as a springboard.

Seiya then did so, jumping on to Ethox and was catapulted straight to Zenos, right as he fired his final move.

"It's all ending right now. No more running Zenos. Because I've got my own final move." Seiya said as Masakado black started shining. "From one hero to another, this one isn't just for one world… it's for all of the ones you stepped foot on! Valorous Slash!"

Seiya then stabbed right through Zenos's beam as it only just barely torched the lands beyond Tiegenhoff before coming right at him and slashing right at his chest in a powerful V-Shaped cut. Zenos cried in pain as he then saw Seiya gearing up for a follow up final move.

"Oh… and that wasn't my final move. This is!" Seiya said. "Goodbye and goodnight! Heavenly Strike!"

Seiya then brought his sword down, slashing right through the V cut from before, slicing through Zenos and cutting him straight down the middle, his blood making out the mark of his severed halves.

He then crashed to the ground bloodied and mortally wounded, as Seiya shook the demon blood off Masakado Black before sheathing it. "...Game over. Thanks for playing." he simply said to Zenos.

(End song)

"Oh man… it's over! We did it! It took us this long, but it's over! We beat Zenos Road!" Ethox cheered. Rista cried in pure joy as she came over and hugged him and Seiya both.

"You guys did it! You really did it!" Rista said, before realizing something. "Wait… he might not be dead yet! He could have an extra life like Ultimaeus did!"

"Actually… my extra life was expended… a long time ago." Zenos Road spoke up, having reverted to his normal form. "When Ehto decapitated me… that was how I stayed alive…"

"Wait, he's still-!" Rista started before Ethox raised his hand, he and Seiya walking over to the demon lord.

"So…this is how it ends…" Zenos remarked, staring upwards. "I always knew this would happen…but I never thought it would be at the hands of a chosen hero."

"Yeah, well…life can throw unexpected stuff at you." Seiya said. "Trust me…I know."

"Its been a long road. For all of us." Ethox said. "But im glad it ended here. We chased each other all over the multiverse, fought everywhere we could. But even though we did… I wanna ask. Were we worthy opponents to you, Zenos?"

This actually caused Zenos to laugh. "Yes…the greatest adversaries I've ever had. It took all I had to get this far…and it still wasn't enough."

"Then that's enough. We pushed each other, and the victors were decided. I will say this though. You gave us one hell of an adventure to remember. We'll remember you as we go on, Zenos."

"And I accept my defeat with pride." Zenos said as his eyes stared out the window, looking at a horizon. "Ah…look. The sun is setting…how appropriate…" he chuckled as his remains turned to dust.

"Goodbye Zenos. It's been fun." Ethox said. "I started my adventure in your world, and you helped me meet my brother and form my own party within his guild. So as you go, let me say. From myself to you… thank you."

"You're welcome, Ethox Starcrest. May your adventures in the future with your brother be as grand as this one." Zenos said as he closed his eyes. "My Kings, old and new… I'm coming to join you. Our empire… may we remember it." he said as he fully disintegrated and turned to ash.

Ehtox smiled, before getting on his comm. "Attention to all allies and members of Mythos hearts! The battle is over, the Demon Lord, Zenos Road has finally been defeated! In other words… WE ARE VICTORIOUS!"

Raucous cheers from both the Imperial army, and all members and allies of mythos hearts, echoed throughout Tiegenhoff, as the Federation army and what remained of Zenos's forces, retreated en masse.

"Good job, you two. That wraps up this mission." Tanya said over the comm.

"Good to hear from you, tanya. Guess you're still alive." Ethox said before realizing. "Ah, that's right! Mary! What happened to her?!"

"She got away unfortunately… but let's just say she's not going back to the United States without a few holes." Tanya said.

With Mary, she was being carried on William Drake's flight unit as she was riddled with pistol bullet holes going into her skin, and her pendant was destroyed. And yet, despite her grievous wounds, despite all forces in a full retreat… she still wanted to go back and fight.

"Sir… I can still fight. Let me go back." Mary sobbed, begging for William to turn around. "Let me go… please! Let me kill every last one of those demons…"

"Shut up." Drake said firmly.

"Lieutenant Colonel Drake, Zenos Road…has been killed." Vivi called over the radio. "The Federation and what little of his forces left are retreating."

Drake sighed. "It's for the best." he said before looking to mary. "It's time to go. Let's get out of here."

At this, Mary broke into tears, not able to go back and keep fighting. To be able to get her revenge. "Why? Why, Daddy?" she sobbed.

The War on Tanya's world, was far from over. But the war against Zenos Road was at an end. And that…well, at this time, that was all Mythos Hearts could have ever hoped for. And they got just what they wanted.
