The world, wasn't always like this, you know. Gaia used to be a paradise, a reality of growth and nourishment, a place where deities and their various offspring populated the lands.
The first generation deities, the primordials, were the absolute manifestations of their element. On Earth and throughout the cosmos. With this role came a… certain power, power to manipulate the playground of the Mother of the Universe, Chaos. At first, the family was congregated upon Gaia. But over time, Mother Earth began to develop a superiority complex to all the deities whom resided upon her. Needless to say, many of the brothers and sisters did not like her.
That was, until Ouranos came along. The Father of the Heavens saw the dissatisfaction of his fellow primordials, and reigned Gaia under his supposed control, proclaiming himself as the Lord of the Universe in the wake of Chaos' absence.
The rest of the history… mortals know most of that. Endless betrayals, sex and lust, war. All of the good stuff.
There are some stories which have been buried, so to speak. Today, dear reader, I present to you one which might be the best Olympian held secret to date.
Perseus, firstborn of Poseidon and Hestia, God of Time, former Olympian council member, decorated war veteran, slayer of Kronos, attempted Olympian King's throne usurper.
A story of heartbreak, betrayal, and violence. But, isn't that what immortals specialise in?
