Raiden, the daughter of Ratchet and Rivet from the Ratchet and Clank franchise, has created a team. Joining forces with the sons and daughters of her father's old rivals, Raiden leads her friends on protecting their worlds from certain destruction.

27. Chapter 27: Jackal

Jackal is a wulg and Valis's pet. She has black and white fur and bright yellow eyes.

Valis found Jackal when he was lost in a cavern. When he first came across the wulg, Valis was frightened due to her violent nature. However, Valis gained enough courage to approach Jackal. He feeds her a turkey bone he was saving for lunch and Jackal immediately devours it. The two help each other get out of the caverns and bond afterwards.

Jackal is first seen as aggressive, hostile, and stubborn. After joining the rangers, she is shown to be playful, fun-loving, and thanks to her stubbornness, very difficult to hypnotize or brainwash. Despite this, Jackal is very violent and isn't afraid to get her claws dirty.

Jackal is capable of lunging and biting at foes, as well as performing an acrobatic grapple attack. Jackal is very fast and she's the most agile out of the mounts, well, next to Mothra.

Trivia:

Jackal is named after her species, Ice Jackal.
