A month and half passed. Law had no more information on family, except for a small rumor about Joker teaming up with some mafia in Japan known as Kaidou. But apart from it, he couldn't find any information about the family's activities nor anything about family members in the city that he lives.
Law even though in hopes of finding more about Luffy went on dates with him but couldn't get anything strange out of him. Except that his so called crush on the boy was increasing day by day which he did not want to admit. He couldn't stop thinking about Luffy's happy go lucky smile, the way he talks about his adventures with his friends and family, his cheery and honest personality and how he mostly thinks about eating rather than most important things.
Law sighed and just hid his face in his hands. He was sitting with his group with no Luffy in sight.
"What's wrong Captain?" Bepo asked.
Before Law answered Penguin commented, "Relax Bepo. Captain just realized that he has fallen for Luffy's charm."
"Of course that was supposed to happen sooner or later. You should seen how Law looks at Luffy with lovey dovey eyes since day one!" Shachi pitched in happily.
"I don't look at Luffy with any lovey dovey eyes since day one! Shut up!" Law snapped, embarrassed.
"Well, you are the last one to know about your feelings, so congratulations!" Jean Bart said a bit of humor in his voice.
"Urgh shut up you all! So what if I just now realized that I like Luffy ya?! That's none of you guys business!" Law snappishly replied.
"Eh? Torao likes me too?" They all heard Luffy questioning surprisingly.
Law looked behind him seeing Luffy there and got red in embarrassment.
"Shut up! Idiot!" Law lashed out embarrassed and got up walking away.
Luffy looked puzzled at Law's behavior while sitting on his vacant chair. While the others were laughing at Law's predicament.
"Why do he have to get angry like that?" Luffy questioned.
"Hahaha…..oh god! Don't worry Luffy. He is just embarrassed," Shachi replied.
"The way he called Luffy idiot so fondly should be an indicator," Penguin said while controlling his laugh.
"Ah! So he is really a tsundere!?" Luffy said with a bemused tone. That line made the others chuckle.
"But aside from that, Luffy, you do like Law right?" Ikkaku asked.
"Of course. Since Buddha guy showed me his photo!" Luffy replied happily.
"Buddha guy?" All questioned confused.
"Hmm. Torao's grandpa!" Luffy said.
"Wait, wait, wait! You mean to say you just like him for his face?" Ikkaku questioned.
"That too! I mean he looks pretty even when he is angry. He is grumpy and talks rude too but that's cute. And when he fanboys about the things he likes I wanna keep listening to him and looking at him since he have star like eyes while talking even though he tries to hide it. Oh! And also when he starts talking in other languages it's so nice to hear it in his voice. And also his tattoos on hands and arms are cool. I wanna see more of his tattoos."
Luffy listed everything while everyone was looking at him in awe for loving their grumpy captain for who he is.
"It's nice that you like captain that much. I am sorry," Bepo commented.
Luffy just nodded at that while eating his food. The rest were happy to know that their friend was going to be in good hands. After few minutes someone's phone pinged indicating a message. It was Luffy's.
"Date coming Sunday?" Luffy read the message Law texted.
"OFC! Bt aftr 2. Wer 2?"
"At my place. Will text you the address later."
"Ok!"
"What's got you so excited?" Bepo asked.
Before Luffy could reply it was Shachi that replied to him, "Of course he has date set for coming Sunday. Right?"
Luffy was amazed and asked, "How did you know? Are you a mind reader?"
"Of course not. Your face and body language tells everything," Penguin commented. Luffy just grinned at that.
"You better not break Captain's heart for your ambition," Ikkaku said in an ice cold tone.
"Not gonna happen!" Luffy assured her.
Law was waiting for Luffy to come. He did not know why he was feeling nervous today even though they went on so many dates before. Maybe he was finally going to talk about his feelings to Luffy.

The idea was quickly dismissed from Law's mind. Before Law could think any more, his door bell rang. He went to open and was shocked to see Luffy with lots of carry bags.
"Yo Torao! How's Sunday going?" Luffy greeted
"Great. What's with this dozen of carry bags?" Law questioned.
"It's food!"
"Of course. What else there might be," Law replied sarcastically.
"So what are we watching?" Luffy questioned setting the bags on the table.
"Select any movie you want," Law replied and went towards his kitchen to bring some utensils for the food.
He came back and saw Luffy looking at a picture which Law forgot to put it in his bedroom.
"Who's this?" Luffy asked curiously.
"That's my adoptive father Cora san. Or rather known as Donquixote Rosinante," Law replied pensively.
"What!? This is Rosi?" Luffy exclaimed and took the photo to examine it.
"Rosi? Luffy ya, do you know Cora san?" Law asked eagerly, forgetting about his sadness.
"Yup. He used to visit us and we use to play. But then he got some case where he had to leave for and then the news came he died during the case. Though nobody told me how he died," Luffy explained.
"He was killed by his own brother, Donquixote Doflamingo," Law replied venom in his voice.
Luffy was shocked to listen that. He didn't expect that one's own brother would do something like that. Seeing Law he decided to talk about other things related to Rosinante.
"Torao, was he clumsy and did he used to set himself on fire?" Luffy asked.
"Of course. Hundred times a day he used to set himself on fire. And he used to fall down or get hurt by how God knows. But he was the most kind and caring person I have the pleasure of meeting, " Law said nostalgy in his voice.
"Shishishi…..and he was also funny. It was like he was a bear with a good heart!" Luffy recalled fondly.
"You know he would…." And that's how the two talked and talked about Cora san or Rosi and forgot about watching the movie.
While eating they exchanged all the memories that they had of Rosinante with each other. Law was shocked at how easy it was to open up with Luffy. He never shared his full intentions of learning information about Doflamingo but he told that to Luffy in short details. He decided not to go too deep today and just bask in the stories of Cora san and Luffy's adventures. Luffy's retelling of stories has always made him laugh but with Luffy's narration about Cora san and his adventures, he could see the love that Luffy had for Cora san. The same love that Law has for Cora san. He is happy to share the memories of Cora san with somebody other than his adoptive family and letting Cora san be alive through those memories.
"Fufufufu!" Doflamingo laughed while seeing the file and photo of the person mentioned in the file.
"You did a good job in this one, Vergo!" Doflamingo complimented.
"Anything for you, jefe," the man named Vergo bowed showing respect.
"Now to deliver this file, you have find the address too, am I right?" Doflamingo asked with amusement.
"Of course, jefe," Vergo replied.
"Then send this file to our dear boy Law's address. It's going to be so much fun to see this unfurl," Doflamingo said excitedly.
"Sí, jefe," Vergo took the file and walked out.
"Say Doffy, instead of sending file, why don't you bring Law?" his executive Trebol said.
"But it's so much fun like this, fufufu," Doflamingo replied.
"And since we got that traitor's address, we can bring him whenever we want," other executive Diamante voiced.
"So true but I wonder what Mugiwara will do next," Doflamingo cackled.
