"Haaa!" A powerful shout came from Sakura in training ground seven.
"Okay, now brace for the return of your chakra! You've got to control it or it'll blow you away!" Naruto said standing a little to the side. His voice was condescending.
Sakura grunted as she held on to what looked to be a soccer ball, but was really a magic device Naruto had given her. It looked like a red crystal that was transparent and showed the user's energy flowing on the inside. This was called the channeling Orb, a tool often used to help increase magical reserves and build control.
The point was to release all your energy into the orb, then let it rush back into your body with triple the amount and force. This caused one's chakra circuits to forcefully adapt and change in order to properly take in the power.
Sakura was not doing so well. The process was very painful as you had to endorse feeling your circuits expand in live action while also keeping a calm mind and controlling the chakra flowing through your body. But Naruto would cast a quick healing spell once the pain got too much and heal Sakura of her wounds and get right back into training.
Gritting her teeth, Sakura strained and gave a yell before the chakra vanished inside her body. She collapsed to her knees and began to pant while her body was visibly glowing from the chakra surging within.
"Looks like it's going to blow." Sasuke jumped behind him for cover only to be thrown directly in front of Sakura. "I'm not some shield, this is defensive training for you as well. I'd reinforce my body with chakra if I were you!"
Sasuke cursed and did what Naruto suggested and tried to run. But Sakura saw him and gave a chilling smirk before screaming to the sky and exploding with chakra. The following release of chakra was massive and shook their training ground. Rushing winds blew leaves off the trees and blasted Naruto's hair into his face, but he still smirked at the display.
"In just a week, you went from pathetic chakra reserves to matching the Uchiha's reserves." Naruto complimented and held pride in his voice. "Ent." Sakura's bruised body was healed in an instant as Naruto cast Life Magic, another term for healing spells.
"I guess you deserve some praise Uchiha, You survived, if barely." Naruto looked at the Uchiha who was even worse off and bleeding through his clothes. "That force must have slammed him into the ground and ruptured his inside." Naruto gained a thoughtful expression remembering his own close calls when training. He'd actually died a couple of times and had to resurrect himself. Kurama was all too eager to blast him with Tailed Beast Bombs.
"Just heal me already." Sasuke coughed out more blood and turned to his side to spit out more blood.
Smirking, Naruto teased. "Magic word."
"Please just fucking heal me already!"
Laughing at the boy's flushed face, Naruto cast Ent. It was quite the joy messing with others, especially when you could fix the problem anytime.
Sasuke got back to his feet all better and as if he was not just suffering from life-threatening injuries only seconds ago. He then narrowed his eyes at Naruto who only looked amused. "Don't do that again."
"Are you complaining? You've also grown stronger this week thanks to my training. Shall I take it away?"
"Hmph." Sasuke crossed his arms while looking away, not denying the claims of Naruto. As he looked away he could see Sakura getting back to her feet flexing her hands. "You." he growled out and started running towards the pink haired girl with clear anger in his eyes.
Sakura said nothing and ran towards Sasuke as well until the two collided. Both landed punches on one another. The two had a dislike for each other that could not be settled with words or anything like that. So what was the best way to solve things?
Duke it out of course!
"Heavenly Kick of Pain!" Sakura leaped into the air and fell with her leg extended for a crushing leg drop. It was a move Tsunade had taught to Naruto.
Sasuke evaded and rushed Sakura as soon as she landed and landed two solid punches on her jaw. Sasuke went for a shot to the liver but Sakura guarded and stepped into her next punch launching Sasuke of his feet with her monstrous strength.
Sakura was on him quickly and dished out several punches that were mainly blocked. She placed a foot behind Sasuke's leg causing the boy to trip and Sakura brought her arm to closeline Sasuke to the ground which worked but not as she planned.
The young Uchiha grabbed Sakura's head and used his knees as a platform for Sakura's face to land on. It was effective as he then used his leg strength and pushed her off him, flipping up as he did so. "Uchiha Crescent!" Sasuke became a spinning top as he used his leg to bat Sakura aside.
Sakura rolled on the ground multiple times before she quickly rose up trying to land an uppercut on Sasuke who narrowly evaded. Sasuke threw a hook to Sakura but she ducked and side-stepped into a spinning kick Sasuke raised his arm to block the heavy kick that felt like a bag of cement being tossed at him. Sasuke launched a punched Sakura meet with her own. The two shared a grin at the power struggle.
"Damn her blows hurt like hell, And these moves she's using, Naruto must have taught her them because she was never this good." Sasuke thought.
"He's quick on his feet and throws accurate punches, I need to keep my guard up." The two felt growing respect for the other as their individual strength was note worthy.
"Growing closer from conflict, Power can always bring people closer, no matter what it is." Naruto smiled at the two kids fighting.
Back to the fight, Sakura rushed in with her fist cocked back. Sasuke easily blocked and landed a punch to Sakura's chin and another to her gut with his right hand. He moved to apply pressure but Sakura was not that slow and managed to step back and sneak in her own three punches on Sasuke who grunted at the pain.
Now they just stood there launching attack after attack as each managed to land blows on the other. Sasuke leaned his head to the side and punched Sakura in the gut and went upstairs to connect with her temple. The civilian ninja was unbothered and came back stronger and punched right through Sasuke's guard and also dropped low with a spin kick knocking Sasuke off his feet.
However, Sasuke caught himself and was about to rush back in. until Kakashi appeared in the middle, stopping both of them from fighting.
"And why are you two fighting? Didn't I say we were going to take a mission today?" their sensei gave an eye smile hiding the thoughts within. "They've grown so much in just a week of Naruto's training. I will have to keep a closer eye on them, especially Sakura. Since she is Naruto's supposed brother. She will definitely take his habits and mannerisms. She already has displayed distaste for the village, with the Demon King behind her no telling what might happen."
"They're so scared, it's amusing." Naruto thought barely concealing his laughter.
"It was this pink loser! She tried to kill me."
"You just got in the way!"
They butted their heads and growled at each other. "You want me to leave you in the dirt, huh?" Sasuke expressed his words through his actions and drew a kunai.
"Why don't you try it?" Sakura mirrored his actions and snarled.
"Okay calm down you too." Kakashi used some chakra and chopped the two kids in the head.
"Just some team bonding, nothing to be so worried about." Naruto entered the conversation. "More importantly, why don't we go and pick up our mission?"
"Great idea Naruto, Let's go team 7!"
"So, what mission would your team like today, Kakashi? We have dog walking, fence painting, babysitting, and some grocery shopping." Hiruzen sifted through the D-rank missions on his desk for the team.
Naruto, had not participated in a single D-rank mission. When told he had to cut grass, he laughed and walked out of the office.
"Actually Hokage-sama, I'd like to take a C-rank if you don't mind." Kakashi surprised the old man with his statement.
"What! No way! They just graduated! No way they're ready for a C-rank mission." Iruka yelled, rising from his seat. He was here assisting the Hokage in handing out missions.
"That is true, but in just a week's time. They have grown to great heights." Kakashi praised his students, causing them to raise their heads in pride, except for Naruto of course. "It's just a C-rank mission, I will be there along with the Demon King after all."
"His words hold true, although Kakashi may slow the team down a bit. There can be no greater assurance for victory than to have me."
Naruto, as always, was confident. There was nothing in this universe that could bring harm to him even if he was slightly weakened. Even the Gods themselves would have to be cautious when trying to take him down.
"Must he throw shade?" Kakashi weakly said to himself.
Iruka sat back down. Naruto was not human so there was no telling what power the man might hold. Plus, Iruka did not want to make such a fuss next to the Hokage. Kakashi was a strong Jounin, he would take the man's word.
Hiruzen became thoughtful. "Should I really send Naruto out of the village? Who knows what he might get up to without our supervision." Hiruzen moved to the next pile. "It's just a C-rank mission. Whatever Naruto has planned, it couldn't be anything too dangerous or he wouldn't be bringing along Sakura."
This young girl Sakura, could be used as leverage and possible bait if worse came to worse. Sakura along with Mebuki could be used to bring the boy back in if things got out of hand. So Hiruzen came to a decision and grabbed a C-rank mission. "Bring in Tazuna." The Third Hokage ordered one of his ninjas.
"Mom! We're home!" Sakura yelled coming into the house followed by her brother. "And we've got a mission outside of the village!" Sakura excitedly yelled.
"I'm in the living room!" Mebuki shouted back.
So the two walked into the living room to see Mebuki relaxing while watching TV. While Curtis was in the open kitchen cooking with an apron on.
"A mission outside the village? It's a little soon don't you think." Mebuki gained a worried look. "You've only been genin for a week and now you're heading outside of the village."
"It was Kakashi, he said we could take a C-rank mission now." Naruto made himself comfy next to Mebuki. "But he's right, however. This old drunk was lying about the details."
"Was he?" Sakura asked cocking an eyebrow.
"Yeah, Tazuna says he just needs protection getting to his bridge. I could feel and see it in his eyes, He's terrified of something other than just bandits."
"Did you tell Kakashi-sensei?! I'm sure he will bring it up with the Hokage and maybe you guys can get a safer mission!" Mebuki fussed grabbing at Naruto's hand.
To this, he only smiled serenely and grabbed Mebuki's hand. "I've done impossible things, A simple protection mission is nothing. We'll be okay. I promise."
"Okay, if you say so." Mebuki retracted and looked at Sakura. "Are you okay with this? Sakura-chan."
"Yes Mom, I've become stronger. I can handle anything that is thrown our way." Sakura strongly answered and felt for her chakra again, riling it up. It flared and glinted blue just below the surface of her skin.
"Shall I accompany you, My Lord." Curtis asked putting down one of the glass plates.
"It's hard to take you seriously when you are acting like a house husband." Naruto laughed causing Curtis to flush and the others to giggle. "But no, Just stay here and run the business."
"Understood."
"I'll leave to go pack." Sakura got up and walked to her room to pack.
"So, what are you watching Mom?"
Sakura approached Ino's flower shop and played with the straps of her backpack. She was a little nervous as she had come to tell Ino goodbye and maybe give her a little hug. But now the thought was making her heart tremble in anticipation and fright.
"It's just a hug! We've done this before." Sakura braced herself and opened the door. The bell above it rang shortly afterward and alerted the half-asleep Ino who jumped awake.
"Forehead? What are you doing here?" Ino asked rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
Sakura walked closer to the desk and smiled at Ino. "I was coming to tell you goodbye, I'm going on a mission outside of the village and I might be gone for a while."
"What the freak?! How come your teams get to leave outside of the village? It's not fair it's not fair!" Ino complained like she normally did.
"Maybe if you did a little training, you might get a C-rank mission as well." Sakura teased with a smirk and crossed her arms. This had the effect of causing Ino to pout and glare.
"Woah, Nice new outfit! When did you get this?" Ino came around the counter to get a closer look at Sakura who beamed at the praise.
Sakura ditched her old outfit for a new Maroun red kimono-style shirt that split off towards the bottom. It had white lining on the edges and her family crest on the back. Her arms were covered by long smooth black sleeves that stopped on her ring finger. For bottoms, she wore small black biker shorts and thigh-high shinobi sandals that looked more like long black socks.
"Like? Brother made it himself for me."
"I do, I'm jealous. I wish I had an amazing brother like yours."
"He is amazing isn't he." Sakura smiled lovingly at the thought of Naruto. He was so kind and thoughtful, doing so much in only a week. She'd repay him, somehow.
"But I have to get going, Ino." Sakura said. "I will see you when I get back." Sakura leaned forward and tightly hugged Ino, tucking her head in her soft blonde hair. "I'll miss you."
Ino on instinct hugged the girl back. And gave Sakura a raised eyebrow. "You're acting pretty weird for just telling me goodbye. Is there something you want to tell me Sakura-chan?" Ino wiggled her eyebrow with a teasing smirk.
"Shut up! I'll see you in a week or so." Sakura released the hug and left the shop smiling.
Now Team Seven and Tazuna were outside of the village walking down a dirt path to the Wave. It had only been a few minutes since they left the village and already there was trouble ahead.
Kakashi looked to see two small puddles of water on the side of the road. Looking over his team to see if perhaps anyone noticed, he was disappointed when nobody took notice of it. Or perhaps, Naruto did and was just playing like he didn't.
"Let's see how the two handle this, I'm curious to see it for myself." Naruto was curious to see their training be put into a real fight. He was sure either Sasuke or Sakura could handle it.
Like the King of Demons had been expecting, The two men jumped from the puddle. They had a chained gauntlet dripping on their claws aimed to cut Kakashi into small pieces. They wrapped the Jounin up and gave a big tug and turned Kakashi into a pillar of blood as his detached body parts flew.
"That's one!"
"Let's make it two!"
The two rogue ninjas rushed towards Naruto of all people. He could see their scratched-out headband which held the symbol for the Mist Village.
Their chain was also about to wrap around him as it did with Kakashi. Until a shuriken nailed their chain to a tree causing them to pause and look in shock.
Sakura fell from the top and kicked the two in the face doing a split kick with her great flexibility. She had that killing look in her green eyes that was more like a blank canvas than an actual human face. Her emerald eyes seemed to dim and she saw her next victims.
They reacted quickly after the kicks to the face and released their chains. "You're gonna pay for that brat!" The one on the left yelled to Sakura before rushing with all his speed at her. Catching on, the other fell into stride with his partner and in a zig-zag to confuse Sakura.
"They're so slow, Are ninjas really this weak?" Sakura was disappointed that this would be her first real fight if you could even call it that. Naruto no, Sasuke was stronger than these guys. "Brother's training was really effective, The training of a demon breeds great results."
Sakura ducked underneath a swipe and did a spin catching both ninjas in the face with a kick. Moving quickly, she laid six consecutive punches empowered by chakra onto one ninja on the left. He fell shortly after and gripped at his chest but soon fell limp into sleep.
"Gozu! You're dead!"
"Was that his name? What a pathetic existence. Is this the best you can bring?" Sakura held a look of mockery as she belittled the ninja in front of her.
Instead of responding, He charged blinded by his anger and hatred towards the Pinkett. He jammed his claw into the girl's chest and smirked underneath the mask covering his face. "Nothing to say now? Die!" He gave a twist and ripped his hand from the wide-eyed genin.
All for the body to go up in smoke and be replaced by a log. "Substitution Jutsu!"
It was too late as he felt claws dig into his back causing him to scream in pain and fall to the ground. "Worthless." Sakura was wearing the poisoned-tipped gauntlet and tearing at the man's back with a slight smirk playing on her lips.
"That's enough. I think you've done enough." Kakashi appeared from the bushes perfectly fine. "She's so strong, but that personality of hers. She took pleasure in hurting these two. Must be Naruto's doing."
Sasuke held surprise and hints of awe at the display of skill. He was just about to act but Sakura beat him to the punch already. It was one thing to spar with the girl and train next to her, but a completely different experience to see her perform the feats of strength so effortlessly against two ninjas.
"Kakashi-sensei, Who were these two?" Sakura asked. Wanting to know the name of the two idiots she just beat.
"Gozu and Mazu." Kakashi answered. "Two Chunin-ranked ninjas who are from the Hidden Mist Village. They went rogue some time ago and have been a pain ever since."
"She beat two Chunin on her own?! If I hadn't seen it, there's no way I'd belive it." Sasuke was again shocked by his teammate's power. If Naruto could offer this much strength, He'd have to take Naruto's words more seriously. With power like that, he could kill Itachi for sure.
"That was phenomenal Sakura-chan, what a great display of martial arts." Naruto messed with Sakura's pink hair. She glared through the messy bangs with anger. "What's with that look, I give you a compliment and you can't even say thank you? Hahaha!"
Sakura jammed her hand into Naruto's gut which did nothing but hurt her. "Ooww!" She retracted her hand which stung and all Sakura could do was just wave it back and forth. This only served to increase Naruto laughter to where it became mocking. Even his own sister could not escape his mockery. "Thank you!" She gritted out.
"I'll leave these two here to be brought back to the village for interrogation. But in the meantime." Kakashi turned a stern gaze to Tazuna. "Why were those two eyeing you so much during that fight?"
Tazuna took some steps back and gulped loudly and raised his hands. "I don't know man! Maybe it's because they thought I was a handsome old man!"
"Quit the games!" Naruto grabbed the man's head and closed his eyes. "Eviy." Naruto said. This was a spell which could bring up past memories. The only drawback was that it could not recall memories that had been erased.
Naruto saw that the Wave country was being oppressed by none other than…Gato! Tazuna was making a bridge to try and combine Wave to the main lands and leave Gato behind so they could make trade with others. However, Gato had sent thugs to eliminate the bridge builder but Tazuna fought them off and barely survived.
"In short, this old man is trying to save his dying village by making a bridge to the mainland. But the CEO of Gato Shipping is trying to kill him." Naruto simplified everything he just witnessed in Tazuna's mind. "So come on, let's go kill Gato." Naruto proceeded to walk off followed by Sakura and Sasuke.
"Ahh! Thank you, Naruto-san." Tazuna spoke as respectfully as he could to the Demon Lord.
"I'm not really doing it for you, Gato just…owes me something and I'm going to collect."
"Brother, Did he sell you his soul?" Sakura knew about humans selling their souls to demons. So she was curious as to if Naruto could actually do something like that.
"Indeed he did, and I think it's about time I go and take it." Naruto gave a grin of sharp teeth.
Kakashi then called out to them before they got too far away. "Hold on, this is something I don't think you are all ready for." He said gravely. "These ninjas were chunin, the next one will be a Jounin for sure."
"Silence." Naruto turned his crimson eyes to Kakashi's one visible black eye. As Naruto said this, Kakashi fell silent, finding he couldn't open his mouth. "Just a little bit of magic in my voice and you are quite like a mouse. I'm not a shinobi, and I don't fight like one. Your little human brain can't imagine the things I could do, the things I've done."
Saying what needed to be said, Naruto began walking off as Tazuna led the way. While Kakashi stood there for a moment, taking in Naruto's words. "He's a threat, no doubt about it. And it also seems like he has some jutsu to recall memories like the Yamanaka. But he can control my body with just his words alone. This isn't good."
The trip continued at a normal pace, With Naruto and Sakura chatting with the small bickering between Sasuke and Sakura. Combined with Naruto's amused laughter sometimes. They had gotten onto a boat and crossed a small misty river thanks to one of Tazuna's friends.
The mist had grown thicker and seemed to block their vision. Naruto just sent magic to his eyes and walked as if the mist wasn't even a problem. They had been walking for about twenty-five minutes now and Naruto began to sense someone watching them.
The person was good for shinobi standards but could not hide from him no matter how hard they tried. They had been following them the whole time, no doubt looking for a chance to attack.
It was two of them to be specific. This time, Naruto would take the wheel and fight.
"You all get down!" Kakashi fell while tackling Tazuna to the ground. Sakura and Sasuke fell to their stomachs.
Naruto did nothing and kept standing as he heard the sound of an object flying through the air at great speeds. That is when he saw the giant sword piercing the mist intent to chop him in two. This sword served to be no match for Naruto's thick skin as it bent itself upon contact with him.
"I don't know, maybe throw it a little harder next time you think?" Naruto picked up the sword which was carved towards the middle.
A man of dark skin and sharp brown eyes flashed in the trees. "That's somebody you got their kid, I never knew my sword could bend that way." He was bare chested beside the two brown cow print straps over his shoulders. "I'll repair it with your blood."
"Is that so?" Naruto pulled the metal back into place and smirked. "Here! Take this piece of junk." Naruto tossed the sword up to the ninja with bandages wrapped around their mouth.
"You're going to regret that brat."
"Am I?"
Zabuza used a ram hand sign and the mist became more intense, taking away the visage of the cow print ninja. He was on the hunt to kill him a team of genin and cash in the bounty on Kakashi's head.
"Say, Zabuza. I hear you are deemed the master of the Silent Killing Technique. Is that true?" Naruto amusedly asked his question and followed Zabuza's shadowy body through the mist.
Naruto got no answer as he witnessed Zabuza split into two from the use of a water jutsu. And he let the copy sneak up behind him and his team.
The mist slightly lifted to reveal Zabuza in a striking position to kill them all with just a small shift of his wrist. "For good reason."
Before Kakashi could strike and protect his frightened students, Naruto already had his hand through the clone's chest. "I hear you are also called the Demon of The Mist. But you're no demon! Just a fraud!" Naruto used his left hand and in a show of strength ripped the water clone in half with a grin.
Naruto bent the wind to his will and caused it all to be blown away. "But I can change that. I like you." Naruto gave the narrowed-eyed man a smirk. "You're a monster. Killing a fresh group of genin as a kid, when you weren't even a genin yourself. You loved it didn't you, that pleasure of snuffing out another's life! Their feeling of hopelessness!"
"This kid is insane. But so am I!" Zabuza grinned beneath his bandages. "I did, it felt so good. Their parents looked at me with frightful eyes, as if I was going to kill them too! I've been stained my hands in blood! What can a snot nose brat like you do to me?" Zabuza leaked his potent bloodlust on them, changing the mist into the color of blood.
"You will do nicely! I want you to join my religion, and serve the Demon King of Tyranny. Naruto Leviathan!" Naruto declared completely dominating Zabuza's bloodlust with his own that served to kill off the forest around them. The area twisted into something hellish as the wildlife began to shift horrifically as Naruto's magic leaked into the atmosphere. Behind him, Naruto could see the others on the ground. It was at the sight of seeing Sakura's eyes going bloodshot and trembling did he stop completely.
Naruto used a healing spell as a green magic formula lit up underneath her and healed all the side effects she had taken. "Sorry, Sakura-chan." Naruto mentally sent to her to which Sakura nodded back in forgiveness as her eyes still stung with fear.
"I-it's okay, I forgive you. Just don't do that again! I was terrified."
"Promise, I'll teach you a new jutsu to make up for it."
"Cool, you also have to teach me how to do what you just did."
Naruto turned away with an amused curl of his lips. Sakura was definitely different from how she used to be. The girl had grown cold and callous towards the world. There was no doubt about it, she'd want to become a demon in the future or something close to it. This mission will only prove his point as to why she should.
"Now, Zabuza. Come and fight."
Zabuza rushed forward with his large blade and took a large swing only to miss completely as Naruto punched Zabuza in the face. Zabuza grunted and took a sharp swing upwards and hit air once again as Naruto landed more than just one punch on Zabuza this time. Naruto swung his left arm and saw blood stain Zabuza's bandages before landing three more hits to Zabuza's dome with his right.
"Damn, What are your hands made from?" Zabuza gritted out. Moving quickly, he took swings with his giant blade that would kill in one blow. Zabuza knew he was good, but he couldn't land a single hit on this kid. Meanwhile, every time Naruto threw a punch it landed with pinpoint accuracy.
"It seems I am too much for you." Naruto mocked. "I'll handicap myself. I won't use any more physical attacks on you."
"Are you crazy! That's a Jounin, bad enough you are fighting him alone!" Kakashi shouted and took a step forward. Only to freeze when Naruto turned around.
"Not to worry fool, I am more than enough for this circus act."
While Naruto was turned around, Zabuza pulsed his chakra in a wavelength only someone he linked it to could know. "Water Style: Water torrent Jutsu!"
Rising from the lake behind Zabuza, giant waves splashed onto the land knocking over trees and flooding the battle zone. Kakashi made a hand sign for the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Once the clones popped into existence, He used the two clones to grab Sakura and Sasuke to jump into the trees above the water.
Naruto jumped into the air and looked below to see Zabuza weaving through his next set of hand signs. "Water Style: Water Dragon Missile!"
"I can read your intentions clear as day!" Naruto just snapped his finger sending out a wave of sound that dispelled the dragon of water.
"You can fly? You're just like that old man!" Zabuza shouted up at the smirking raven-haired man.
"There is nothing I can't do, you'll do good to remember that," Naruto responded. That is when he felt something behind him. A light blue ice mirror formed and out rushing from the mirror was a hunter corpse ninja wearing dark clothing and a white Mist ANBU mask.
The person dashed at Naruto with untraceable speed and formed ice senbon needles in their knuckles. They attempted to jam them into Naruto's neck but were stopped when Naruto moved to the side. It was so fast that the motion summoned a blast of wind knocking the person back to the ground.
They would have become a splatter of blood on the ground if they impacted at that speed. But behind them formed another mirror of ice to which the person fell into. They exited a mirror on the ground next to Zabuza.
"Haku, what happened?" Zabuza grunted angrily.
"He evaded me. He's so fast that the wind from his simple sidestep blasted me to the ground." The person sounded young and like a soft-spoken boy.
"That's not possible, You are too fast for something like that to happen."
"But it did, you saw it. We'll have to think of something fast or we are both dead."
"Done scheming?" Naruto asked them.
"Why don't you come down here and find out!"
"If you insist!" Naruto crossed his arms and straightened up his posture. Before he manipulated gravity and pulled himself down like he was a meteor being pulled by gravity. The impact he landed with served to turn the ground to rubble and a great explosion soon followed. "That didn't kill you did it?"
Underneath some large rubble. Zabuza tossed aside the dome of ice covering them. "You're too weak to kill me!" Zabuza charged with clear bloodlust in his eyes.
"Hahah! You amuse me. What great bloodlust you have. You'll make a great demon!" As if seeing Zabuza's moves before he even did them, Naruto was dodging the attacks with practiced ease.
"Ice Style: Ice Rain Storm!" Giant chunks of ice fell from the sky to crush Naruto.
Looking up, Naruto could see that the sky was blocked by the chunks. He simply clapped his hands and they were all blasted away from the force.
"Brother, look behind you!"Sakura shouted from the arms of Kakashi who was forcing her to stay behind.
"Not to worry, I see him." Naruto vibrated his body and Zabuza fazed right through him. Moving at intense speeds, Naruto and every cell in his body could vibrate at a different frequency to slip through things.
Before Naruto could use his next attack, Haku exploded from the ground underneath him with a senbon in his hand, ready to stab Naruto in the neck.
Naruto released an amused laugh which was buffed by his magic blowing both ninjas away. "It's best you don't make me laugh or I'll kill you from laughter."
"Zabuza-sama, We should flee." The masked ninja offered. "We cannot beat this man. He hasn't used any physical attacks just like he said, but yet. He's still defending and attacking us."
"No way Haku! This bastard is going to pay for making a mockery of me!" Zabuza stood to continue.
"Forgive me, Master." Haku solemnly said. Before jamming two needles into Zabuza's neck. He cast a look at Naruto who was just standing off to the side. "We shall settle this…next time."
"I'll allow it. You can flee."
Naruto watched the ninja use one-handed seals and fall back into an ice mirror soon after. "That guy could beat all of you with no difficulty. He just used one-handed seals which is a feat on its own. Zabuza also could have given you a lot of trouble Kakashi, and if you are not careful he might have even beaten you."
"And you know this how?" Kakashi said jumping back down to Naruto's level.
"I got a good read on their power while I was fighting them. And it's safe to say, If I weren't here. You guys would be in trouble."
"Then what are we supposed to do? Run away?" It was Sasuke who asked with his arms crossed and narrow black eyes that looked more like an empty night sky.
To this, Naruto set his hand atop Sasuke's head and rubbed it vigorously. "We're going to get stronger of course. You're going to learn water walking and also a new jutsu!"
"One problem with that." Kakashi interjected with his hand raised. "I didn't teach them tree climbing, so going straight to water walking will be a little much?"
"While you were always showing up three hours late, we used that time to practice tree walking over the week." There was a clear anger in Sakura's tone as she sent the man a death glare.
"I see!" Kakashi eye smiled. "What a great use of time. Good job!"
Naruto's head snapped to the west of them. He sent magic to his eyes for a better look. And what he saw.
It was a demon!
There was a demon heading their way and it was moving quickly. In only a matter of seconds, it was going to arrive at their location.
"Listen up! There is a powerful de-" Naruto was stopped from saying anything more as he was impaled through the chest by a beefy dark gray hand.
"No!" Sakura yelled in horror and fright at what she was seeing.
Kakashi, Tazuna and Sasuke had similar expressions to Sakura as they too had their eyes wide. What was this thing? And where did it come from?
The beast let a low growl escape its mouth which was filled with sharp jagged rows of teeth. It was missing all the features a face would have as it was covered by another layer of skin that ran up into big horns sprouting from the sides of its head. They resembled large tipped scythes that could no doubt cut anything into two.
In the center of its head was a diamond-like hole filled completely red and only a small black pupil floating in the middle. There was no hair or anything on its body, just ruff skin for horns, big arms and legs, with an even bigger pool of magic energy.
Looking up at the towering enemy in front of them. Kakashi and everyone else took steps back. Tazuna even passed out, going limp on the ground.
"Nobody move hastily." It was taking a lot for him to keep from running. But he had to save his team first and foremost. Or at least Sakura and Sasuke.
"You are pretty strong I must admit. You managed to crush my heart." As blood dripped from Naruto's lips, he still smiled at the demon before him. In a show of strength and speed, he chopped the thing's arm off with his hand and used his strong boot to kick the thing away. Clutching the arm, Naruto threw it back to where it belonged as it found a home in the thing's chest.
"Did you think crushing my heart could kill me?" Naruto healed instantly from his insane regeneration.
"Naruto…You're okay." Sakura asked feeling relieved as tears came to her eyes.
"Just stay back, this won't take long." Naruto summoned a barrier around them as he moved to face the demon in his way. His fancy button-up now had a hole in it and his chest was stained in blood. But he didn't care and kept walking.
The demon got up from the ground and ripped the arm out of its own chest before eating it. The bones in the arm cracked loudly and they could all see as blood splattered on the thing's face, It grinned. This demon could also regenerate it seemed as its arm came back.
The demon's right hand began to get covered in swirling black flames. A magic circle is spawned to life on its arm as it shoots out its attack toward Naruto.
Black particles covered Naruto's hand as he also struck out with his attack. "Kuroi Kei!"
Black meets even blacker as the two attacks collide in a show of demonic power. Their area is wiped clean off the face of the earth and left only into ashes as the forest was no more, just a wasteland.
Behind the shield, Kakashi looks on jaw dropped. "Impossible, from just a single attack." They were only alive thanks to the barrier Naruto put up around them.
The sound of a large explosion is heard blowing away the dust caused by the previous explosion. Naruto's fist met with the demons as his hands were covered in a swirling black mass. However, this monster he was fighting had great control over flames as Naruto found the entire base of his left arm covered with burn marks that peeled at his skin.
The damage was nothing as Naruto grinned up at the beast glaring at him with that one eye. "You are mindless and are not from Hell. So where did you come from?!" Naruto punched the beast right on the chin, snapping its head upwards. Before Naruto spun on his feet and kicked the thing away caving in its stomach.
The beast rolled and bounced on the ground suffering more damage as it was assaulted by a barrage of punches by Naruto. "You are strong, too strong for the normal demon that walks the Earth." As Naruto was speaking he kept laying attacks on the beast. "Your body and source. You are pure magic energy. A beast born from magic and evil."
Naruto jumped out of the way as the beast opened its mouth shooting flames at him that turned the ground to molten lava and sunk into the ground. "I understand now, you were just born from my magic a little while ago. That's why you are so strong." Naruto flew forward and jammed his hand right through the thing's chest. "But still weak, Bow to your king." In a majestic show of power, Naruto used Jio Graze and six balls of giant mass formed and then barrelled into the demon.
The spell burned the demon to ash. Floating from the burnt corpse was a small ball of burning flames. Naruto pulled it to him with his magic and took it into his mouth. This demon was born from his magic, so, of course, it was strong enough to offer him a boost in power that was noticeable to his senses.
"If demons can spawn from just magic alone and create their own source or even form consciousness. This could serve to really stir up chaos. They won't know me as their king, but their sources will, so they will be hesitant to act." Naruto grew a devious grin as his red eyes glinted with evil intentions. "But I want to have fun too. So how about I place an open challenge on myself? I know! My title as Demon King."
With this, their thirst for power will grow and they will do whatever it is to gain his title. Naruto would not release his throne to any of them as he'd save it for his offspring. The demon world was his and his alone! He was the Demon King of Tyranny! And that title was earned for a reason.
He'd introduce the idea to his mates later. Maybe they would find this as amusing just as much as he did. The idea of having people out for the throne. Was this how Albedo felt when he was after her spot? Although he'd win in the end and the throne would not change, it would still be fun.
Enacting his plan, Naruto allowed his magic to spread around the planet itself, holding the world in the palm of his hands. He could crush it all just like that. But not yet. There was still fun to be had and lives to ruin. Demons started spawning from thin air in all shapes and sizes.
Some were giant sea monsters, large-winged birds, or humanoid figures. The point was, Naruto just dipped the world in darkness as demons were born. Demon Slayers quickly rushed from the clouds of Heaven ready to fight off the forces of evil.
"Naruto! What did you just do?!" Kakashi yelled.
"Spread my influence."
"Can we get on with the mission now? I need to take a moment to collect myself." Sasuke said taking a breath. This was some crazy shit. All of this on his first mission. It was supposed to be a C-rank!
