Lying in bed, Victoria Chase dreamt of the weekend Vortex Club party that would ensue the very next day. It wasn't a pleasant dream. Well, not as pleasant and more chaotic. A little chaos was nice but this made her head swarm. Her heart beat was loud as she felt warm and faint. She was breathing a bit heavily and tried to slow her breaths. She held the side of her head as Kate chuckled nearby and took a seat on the couch where Hayden normally sat. A girl climbed on top of her and kissed her like she would suck the soul out of her. That was all fine and good, she knew Kate Marsh was coming, but she looked sort of out of it. Kate then solemnly glanced her way- still kissing the girl.

Kate Marsh's idle smile widened and her eyes sparkled in the lights as she grasped the other girls hips. Victoria's eyes widen and she swallowed a drink that had appeared on the table before her. She was lucky to be sitting on a chair, because her legs were trembling and threatened to violently plummet her towards the ground. She couldn't lie to herself and say that Kate hadn't sparked some curiosity inside of her. She also made her worry…

This wasn't the sometimes annoyingly wholesome Kate she was used to. In her experience at Blackwell Academy by far, Kate Marsh came across as a stickler and a prude. Now she forced herself atop of another girl and softly covered her in caressing kisses from her face to her neck. She nibbled gently at the base that met the girl's collarbone. The girl moaned and squirmed seductively as Kate's hand slid up her shirt to clasp at her chest.

Victoria straightened and clutched at the glass on the table. She took a big swig of it. Again Kate glanced at her again with intoxicating eyes that carried a hint of glee that said it all without saying anything.

'You want to fuck me too?' The words were so loud in her mind that she thought that would tear her head off her body or explode from her profuse blushing.

When Victoria woke up, it was 5 am, and her throat was dry. Her heart was pounding but she felt exhilarated. Maybe it wasn't such a bad dream after all~

It was sort of sexy.

Victoria went back to sleep after going on her computer and disliking a picture of her covered in paint and commenting under it: 'Fuck you wallflower!'

This was to which a comment from Max's account immediately popped up commenting on the comment with a 'yes please ;)'

With that Victoria scoffed and rolled her eyes. This obviously wasn't Max. She wouldn't have the balls to say that to a high school bully. Besides, she was still secretly smitten with Kate Marsh, even if they broke up one month prior. Warren obviously hacked her account. Oh well, she wouldn't mind good sex.

She shook her head hastily and shut the laptop. She felt like one of the biggest perverts of the world, or at least at Blackwell. She sighed before dragging herself back into bed. Fortunately, for her, all she dreamt about was dancing and having fun with her best friend Nate.

Vic still felt a bit sick and light headed in the morning, like she could puke her guts out in the bathroom. She downed some seltzer water and was fine.

She opened her door to Taylor's surprised face. Taylor stood straight and Vic felt amused as she leaned against the doorway. She was like a cadet standing in front of her drill sergeant right now.

"Ah Vic… Toria, you're awake?! I mean of course you are it's almost time for classes, I was just erm, wanting to see you, well not wanting, but not not wanting…" Taylor seemed all fidgety today. On a Friday before a weekend of fun walking all over Blackwell and partying.

"Yeah, what?" Victoria asked softly as she stretched and shut the door to her room behind her. She just leaned against the wall of the hallway, arms crossed, and carelessly glanced up at her best friend- aside from Nate. Courtney scared her, like she was hanging around with a cult.

If Victoria told her one day to jump off a cliff, she kinda feared she would as some kind of initiate. A mindless zombie brought back from the dead really.

Of course, Victoria would never say that to her face, even if she was the mean girl/high school bully everyone thought she'd be.

"Well… Wanna grab some coffee or tea!" She grinned shyly and rubbed on the base of her neck. That was the spot where Kate Marsh bit that girl, and it sent pleasant chills up Victoria's spine. Victoria clenched her fists, breathed deeply, and cleared her throat.

Taylor looked more annoyed and like a Victoria Chase counter-half. "Sorry, did my asking you out for tea bother you or something?!" Taylor sarcastically retorted to her troubled mixture of emotion and her lowered gaze. Victoria snapped out of it and looked back at her friend. She was tempted to bite her lip and kept from gulping again for oxygen in the corridor.

"No, no, I was thinking of this thing, but it's not important anymore!" Victoria's voice softened unsurely as she watched Kate come out of her room and walk towards the bathroom. Kate glanced back with the same side eyed look as in the dream, but with pursed lips. Victoria scowled and became irritated as Kate quickened her pace as she zoned in on the bathroom door.

"What a loser, I can't believe she's gonna be at the Vortex Club party! I told Nathan he shouldn't have invited her, but he took her on as some sort of charity I'm sure~" Taylor smirked as she looked back at Victoria as if for approval of the Kate slander.

"I'm sorry, Nathan invited her, I thought she asked to come?!" Vic was stunned. Taylor made a 'tsk' like she was disappointed they hadn't changed the subject or something.

"Yeah, he said she finally agreed to go to one after he got Warren to ask her again yesterday. Why Warren? He's not going is he?!" Taylor seemed to act like it was the end of the world already. Because the nerds were rising up and saying 'We're not gonna take it!'

Everyone had to fight for their right to party.

"Let's go grab some coffee, I can't stand the sight of her!" Victoria's gaze rolled to the closed bathroom door and Taylor laughed for a second. She seemed cheery and stepped aside Vic as she began to walk.

Victoria forced a sad little smile as she immediately regretted those words:

'I can't stand the sight of her'

She choked down a lump of heartbreak in her throat as she exited the dorm room.
