Oshibana Station
"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES"
"IT'S DARK MAGES."
"SOMEBODY HELP ME"
Chaos. Utter pure chaos. That's what best describes Oshibana station. Our duo have finally arrived at the station, only to find it already taken over by the dark mages.
"We're too late," Erza said in a panic.
"Not really," Izuku said. Erza looked at him in surprise. He pointed to something and when she turned in that direction, she widened her eyes.
"Erigor!" There stood Erigor, leader of the Eisenwald guild, causing destruction in which ever direction he wished.
"Yep, that's him alright. And I can see the flute already. Let's capture him before he goes too far." Izuku said as he dashed towards the dark mage. Erza quickly followed suit after her partner.
Erigor didn't notice in time to dodge a punch by Izuku. He stumbled back as he held his cheek in pain.
"What the fuck?!" Erigor yelled. "Who the hell are you?"
"I'm the one who's gonna stop you," Izuku replied as he requipped his katana.
"You?" Erigor then noticed the mark on Izuku's neck, he smirked devilishly as he laughed. "HAHAHA, you. Does a little fairy fly dare to fight me? Do you even know who I am, boy?"
"Boy? I'm nineteen for your kind information. And yes, I know who you are. A half-naked man with a funny face wielding a long stick." Izuku replied again, in a taunting manner.
And his method worked as Izuku could practically see the tick marks forming on Erigor's face.
"Little flies like you should know where you belong!" Erigor angrily yelled before dashing at Izuku to attack. But in Izuku's vision, he was very slow, so any attack Erigor threw at him, he dodged.
"Stop running and stay in one place so I can hit you," Erigor said while lunging his scythe in every direction.
"Let me think. Mmmmmm no I don't think I will." Izuku replied as he jumped far back away from Erigor.
"Come back here-OOF" Erigor was about to attack Izuku again but was swiftly kicked on his stomach's side by a metal foot as he flew in the direction of the kick. Grunting in pain, he held his stomach as he turned to look at the fool that kicked him. When he saw who it was, his eyes widened and fear started creeping up his spine.
Standing there, was none other than the infamous Titania: Queen of the Fairies, Erza Scarlet.
"Erigor! Surrender yourself now!" Erza demanded as her voice held authority and a little bit of harshness.
"NEVER! I've come too far to give up now. Take this." Erigor got up and fired up his magic. "Wind Prison"
Izuku and Erza were suddenly entrapped in a tornado of wind.
"Let's see you try and get out of this one, flies."
Erza threw her sword at Erigor but it was stopped due to the tornado. Erigor laughed at that.
"Ha, even Titania can't get out of an unbreakable prison like this. Now I've got to be somewhere else. See you soon" Erigor flew up in the sky with his magic.
"Wait, what are you planning to do with Lullaby?" Erza asked.
"…..I suppose it's okay to tell you since you won't live to tell the tale. I'm planning to use Lullaby at the Guild Master's meeting."
Both Izuku and Erza widened their eyes in shock.
"Wait….so all of this was a distraction?" Erza questioned.
"Haha, correct. Bye now, I've got no time to lose." Erigor said and flew away.
"Damn it! Izuku we need a way out of here."
"Did you already forget what magic I use?" Izuku said with a smirk.
Erza became surprised for a bit but then smirked in determination.
"Oh, yeah! Well, what are we waiting for?"
"My question exactly," Izuku said as he sheathed his sword and took a quick draw stance. The ethernano around began to vibrate a lot as small arcs of lightning danced around Izuku's hand. Soon the arcs became bigger and more intense as they now covered Izuku's sheathed sword. Izuku closed his eyes and,
"Electric shockwave!" Izuku opened his eyes and drew his sword at lightning speed which sent a shockwave of lightning at the tornado. The lightning immediately dispelled the tornado and they were both free.
"Nice job, Izuku!" Erza said with a thumbs up.
"Why thank you, miss Scarlet. It was my utmost pleasure," Izuku spoke in a butler-like formal tone and took a bow. Erza laughed at his antics before looking in the direction of where Erigor flew off to.
"We need a vehicle right now," Erza said as she looked around and found one nearby. Both Izuku and Erza quickly hopped on the vehicle and Erza connected the plug onto her arm. They drove at max speed to Erigor's location.
"Erza, that guy is flying in the air and he is much faster than this car. Even if you put in all of your magic, it's no use." Izuku said out of concern for Erza.
"We have to try. We can't let him kill the guild masters." Erza said as she poured more of her magic into the vehicle to drive faster.
Izuku knew how stubborn Erza was so he didn't have any room to argue. He just sat there in concern for her as they drove off.
"Finally." Erigor spoke as he hovered in the sky just before his target. A large building where all the guild masters were gathered.
"You old fools have made a big mistake disbanding my guild from the board. Now FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR DECISION!" Erigor put the flute to his mouth to begin playing.
But just as he was about to play, the flute shook a bit in his hand, startling Erigor a bit.
"What?" He stared at the flute as it shook in his hand. "What the hell is wrong with this thing?"
Izuku and Erza were nearly there but Erza looked tired and exhausted from pouring too much magic in the car.
"We're...almost...there..." Erza pantingly said. Izuku looked at her as his worry for her skyrocketed but he couldn't do anything as Erza would not listen to him.
They finally arrived at the location but what they saw shocked them to the core.
Standing there, was a huge creature that resembled a tree of sorts with a hole in its mid-section. Its face was a skull with three glowing purple eyes. It held a very intimidating aura as he stood high and mighty.
"Haaaaah, I'm finally free. Thanks to you puny human." The creature spoke.
"Wh-What are you? Aren't you supposed to be a flute?" Erigor questioned as he was on the ground, too shocked from when the flute transformed in the creature in front of him.
"I am one of Zeref's demons, Lullaby. And now that I'm free, I can finally let loose my magic. All of you humans, must DIE!" Lullaby attacked Erigor with its giant claw but Izuku swooped Erigor out of harm's way and threw him someplace else, much to Erigor's surprise.
"So this is it's true form, huh? Pretty scary...For a normal person," Izuku said as panted slightly from having to run from a distance because Erza couldn't input any more magic into the car.
"Another human? No matter, I will crush all of you. And then everyone in this pathetic world will die." Lullaby changed his attack to Izuku but Izuku dodged.
"Pretty confident for a tree, aren't you?" Izuku taunted. He kept dodging or blocking Lullaby's attacks.
"I am not a tree. I am LULLABY"
"If you're Lullaby aren't you supposed to put people to sleep or something?"
"Yes, I put them to eternal sleep. Now stop running away like a coward." Lullaby said as he tried to grab Izuku but to no avail as Izuku was faster.
"Okay then. Let's get this over with." Izuku said as he requipped his sword and dashed towards Lullaby. The demon attacked again but Izuku dodged and slashed at Lullaby's leg, effectively cutting it off. This caused Lullaby to lose his balance as it fell down to one knee, grunting in pain.
"Aw, are you gonna propose to me? Sorry, but I don't swing that way. I have eyes for one girl only." Izuku said as a familiar person came up in his head.
"ENOUGH WITH THIS NONSENSE! MASS MURDER CURSE MAGIC!" Lullaby shouted as he glowed. Izuku eyes widened as he realized the demon's magic is about to activate.
"OH SHIT! Better hurry up!" Izuku got into a quick draw stance.
"Electric Shockwave!" Izuku let loose an electric shockwave at the demon but to his surprise, the shockwave got cancelled out.
"Hmph, puny tricks like those will not work on an Etherious like me. Now just listen to my melody and PERISH!" Lullaby was just about to play the deathly melody.
But it suddenly felt like it got split in two. Its vision going haywire.
"Hail Mary Slash" Izuku said as landed behind the demon with his sword as he sheathed it. As soon the sword clicked in the scabbard, an explosion of lightning occurred at the demon as it got vaporized into nothingness.
"Way to...go, Izuku," Erza said from behind him as he quickly turned around to see her.
"Hey! You aren't supposed to be walking in your condition." Izuku walked up to her and put her arm around his shoulder.
"I still have some fight in me," Erza stubbornly said but her current physical state said otherwise.
"Yeah, I don't think so. You look like you could fall if I gave you a tap." Izuku teased as he made his way to the station to go back home.
"Izuku, my boy." Izuku turned around to see Makarov walking up to him. "Well done. Had you not arrived so soon, we would have had to deal with the demon ourselves." Izuku looked behind him to see the other guild masters standing there looking at him and Erza.
"It was no problem. Thanks, master"
"Off you go boy. Erza looks like she needs some rest." Makarov said after looking at the scarlet haired swordswoman.
"See you back at the guild, master." Izuku said as made his way to the station to catch the train to Magnolia. Makarov waved at them and returned to the meeting.
"I didn't even get to fight with you. I'm so depressed right now." Erza said as a gloomy aura hung around her. Izuku chuckled and brought her head to her lap since he saw that she looked tired. They already boarded the train to Magnolia and were idly sitting and looking through the window.
"You recklessly exhausted you reserves just to arrive at the guild masters' meeting place. Nonetheless, you still contributed in defeating the demon. And no one is harmed." Izuku comforted her as he patted her head. While Erza loved the attention, she was now in another dilemma.
'I am supposed to be giving you a lap pillow. Not the other way around' Erza thought. While she didn't reject the lap pillow, she wanted to be the one to do it for him. But she did however love the head pats.
It was no secret to her that she is very much in love with Izuku. How could she not be when he knew her trauma and was there to comfort her every step of the way? Normally, she wouldn't want anyone knowing how much of a facade she puts up just so that nobody can know the pain she holds in her heart. Pain of betraying her friends at the tower. Pain of losing her beloved friends and family. She never even knew her own mother.
"AAAAAACHOOOOOOO!" A woman with long red hair tied into braids sneezed out loud.
'Huh. It's not even that cold. Hmmmm'
It all started one day when Erza sat by the river and lamented in tears for her friends at the tower. This was her routine almost every day. She would make sure she was alone and think about the times when she was in the tower. She would replay those traumatic events in her head and try to make up scenarios where nobody would die. Everybody would be saved and live happily after that. But no matter how many times she tries to assure herself that it wasn't her fault, it was there. That feeling of guilt when she betrayed her friends. It was there and it continued to be there.
That is, until Izuku came up and sat next to her. He told that he knew something was wrong with her and out of worry, asked her what it was. At first, Erza was hesitant. But she eventually warmed up to Izuku, told him everything of her past. Izuku sympathized with her and hugged her as if to relieve her of her pain. And unbeknownst to him, it miraculously did. Erza felt all her pain wash away when Izuku hugged her. She hugged back and never let him go for almost an hour.
That was the day when Erza's heart found the one person it wants to love and cherish. Initially, Jellal was the object of her admiration and affection. But after what he did to her and her friends, she lost all that admiration and respect she had for him. Izuku occupied his place in her heart and she continues to love and cherish him and his presence every second of her life. Izuku was a very sweet, and kind boy who would never hesitate to help others at the cost of his own health.
There was one time when she got sick. At the time, she had already gotten an apartment in Fairy Hills but they had a strict rule about boys entering the premises. Izuku had heard about Erza's sickness through Cana and secretly climbed to the window of her room and snuck in. He made her some delicious chicken soup for her. She loved it so much that she asked for seconds. Izuku was happy to make more and he continued to take care of her till she was well enough to go on missions.
Erza thought about confessing to him but that proved to be near impossible as one, Izuku was dense when it came to romance, two, she got extremely nervous whenever she found the opportunity to confess to him. And that happened several times and she still hasn't gathered up enough courage to just say three simple words.
'What is wrong with me?' Erza thought. 'Why is it so hard to say 'I love you'?'
Due to her exhaustion as well as her current mental dilemma, Erza quickly found herself succumbing to sleep, with Izuku keeping his hand on her head. He noticed her sleeping and smiled. It was gonna be a very long ride anyway so he thought he might get some nap time as well.
"We're back!" Erza announced now fully refreshed and energized.
"ERZA! IZUKU! FIGHT ME!" Natsu shouted as he lunged at the two mages. As soon as he was about to punch Erza, he saw darkness instantly.
"Must you always ask everyone you see for a fight, Natsu?!" Erza harshly scolded with a tick mark as she landed a clean hit to his head, knocking him completely. Natsu now lay on the floor with a bump on his head and X's for eyes and his tongue stuck out.
"Come on, be easy on him will you?" Izuku said out of concern for Natsu. Erza always acted like the big sister to Natsu, and Gray for that matter. She was probably the only one who could keep him in line. "He's still learning after all."
"Nobody takes three whole years to learn how to be respectful of others. Or to even read the mood." Erza huffed and ordered a strawberry cheesecake. Izuku sat with her and looked around the guild. He was immediately surprised to see a new face among the guild members.
A beautiful blonde wearing a white and blue themed sleeveless dress and blue skirt that highlighted her curvaceous rather too much. The outline of her breasts was as vivid as Mesurion's (Lioness's) perfect vision.
(Kohaku: MESURION JANNAI! BAKAYARRROOO!)
Anyway, the blonde beauty then approached both Izuku and Erza along with Levy.
"Lucy, this is Izuku Midoriya." Levy introduced.
"Hi there!" Izuku waved hello to Lucy.
"Hello, my name is Lucy. Nice to meet you." Lucy spoke with a smile. "Pardon my curiosity, but I can't help but think that I've heard your name before."
"I get that a lot so its fine." Izuku said.
"And that person there is-"
"Erzs Scarlet. Also known as Titania, the Queen of the Fairies" Lucy said with sparkles in her eyes.
"Hmm? Oh, hi there. Who are you?"
"H-Hi, m-m-my name is Lu-Lucy" She stuttered out.
"Oh. Are you new here?" She asked still stuffing her mouth with her favorite dessert.
"A-Ah! Y-Yes, I am" Lucy said as she showed the back of her hand which held the pink Fairy Tail symbol.
"You remember her very well, but you can barely remember me?" Izuku asked in mock hurt.
"Ah! I'm so s-s-sorry. F-Forgive me, but I really d-d-don't know who y-y-you are" Lucy said nervously.
"Hahahahaha" Izuku laughed much to Lucy's surprise. "Relax, I'm just teasing you. But anyway, my name is Izuku Midoriya and I go by Blade. Does that ring any bells?"
While Lucy pouted at Izuku teasing her, she suddenly remembered that name.
"Wait. Blade? As in the actual Blade? The guy who singlehandedly saved a town without any casualties or property damage? The guy who uhh, who managed to defeat 300 mages all by himself?" Lucy asked surprised.
"Yep. That's him alright." Levy said, with a bit of pride.
"Wow. I've never actually seen you in person because your photo was not in the magazine but it's actually cool to meet the real Blade." Lucy was in awe.
"Wait a minute." Izuku noticed how she emphasized over the word 'real'. "What do you mean the real Blade?" He asked in confusion.
"Oh, umm. Ehehe, long story short, there was a guy who claimed to be Blade from Fairy Tail who actually turned out to be a dark mage trying to earn attention." Lucy revealed.
"Oh, that happens all the time. Trust me, I've met my fair share of fakes who dare use his title like it's some trophy. Who do they think of themselves?!" Erza said harshly as she nearly crushed her spoon.
"E-Erza, you're gonna break the fork and then you won't be able to eat your cake." Levy quickly warned her. Erza changed her frustrated mood to shock as she saw what she had. Or, what she was about to do.
"O-Oh. M-My bad." Erza said as she tried to put the fork back to its original shape but to no avail as it somehow ended being worse than before.
Leaving Erza to her work, Izuku continued to chat. Levy left the group seeing as how she finished her introducing almost everybody in the guild.
"So what brings you here to Fairy Tail, if I may ask?" Izuku started.
"Oh, it's always been my dream to be a part of Fairy Tail. I've heard of how the mages are strong and respected throughout Magnolia. I've also heard that they treat each other equally and as if they are family. That's why I wanted to join the guild."
"And what's your first impression of Fairy Tail?" Izuku asked, already knowing the answer.
"It's...unique? To say the least? I don't really know. I-I mean, I just joined so... can't judge a book by its cover right?"
"Haha, thought so. But don't let the brawls and insults fool you. That's just our way of having fun. Although, I will have to warn you about two people here. They are Natsu and Gray. Natsu is the pink-haired guy who used fire magic. Gray is the half-naked guy who uses ice magic."
"What's wrong about them?"
"...You'll find out soon. Just don't think bad of them." Izuku said.
"Oh. Okay then"
"What type of magic do you use?"
"Oh, I'm a Celestial Wizard." Lucy said.
"Really?"
"Yeah. See?" Lucy took her chain of keys and showed it to Izuku.
"Oh, wow. That's really cool. It's really rare to find Celestial Wizards nowadays, you know? The last Celestial Wizard I heard of was someone named Karen, if I'm not wrong."
"Yeah, you're right. Karen was a Celestial Wizard but she died while on a mission."
"Oh, that's unfortunate."
While Izuku and Lucy continued to chat, they didn't notice the jealous glare of Erza from the bar. She finished eating her cake and after relishing in its sweetness for God knows how long. She found Izuku talking with Lucy. And that made her stomach churn in discomfort. She never liked seeing Izuku talking with other girls because she fears that maybe he may take a liking to them and not her. Call her selfish, but that's how truly she loves Izuku. Was it bad? Probably. But she assured herself that Izuku was just talking with them and not actively flirting. But even that did little to calm her jealousy.
Lucy felt a shiver run up her spine as she felt like someone was watching her. She ignored it for now and focused back on Izuku talking about the guild.
"So you and Miss Scarlet make up the team 'Gred'?" Lucy asked.
"Yes."
"That must be nice. Anyway, it was nice talking to you Izuku. I hope we can talk more later."
"No problem." Izuku gave her a thumbs up. He turned around to order a snack. He was feeling hungry after talking so much. But then he noticed Erza staring at him.
"What?"
"Nothing"
"You looking at me, doesn't sound like nothin."
"Believe me. It's really nothing." Erza claimed but she still continued to stare at him.
'Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiii'
Izuku shrugged and ignored her, much to her disappointment as she now had a gloomy aura around her.
'Izuku no baka!'
