If you thought the Soul Kingdom story outline was all the lore I had, you're wrong. Very wrong. And here is every last detail. First up, the Soul Princes.

"Chosen by the fragments that make up the light, gifted the power to use the great abilities of emotions, destined to protect the core of the true universe, the ones known as the Soul Princes."

―Ruby's Description

The Soul Princes, also known as the Princes of Mind, The Seven Servers and the Protectors, are seven boys or men with minds/souls that are devoid of darkness, meaning they can't fall into a state of madness. The seven current Soul Princes are the seven main protagonists of the Soul Kingdom franchise. However, they still have darkness in their hearts in contrast to the Princesses of Heart. Each Soul Prince has personality traits that compare and contrast to one another and have their own special title. There's even a sub-category of Soul Princes called the Demi-Soul Princes. In the "spinoffs", the Soul Princes play important people, but mostly have to be rescued. They later have their own army and alliance to several people they call the Seven Guardians during the events of these "spin offs". Unlike the Princesses of Heart, who are born with purity, the Soul Princes need the Soul Princes before them to purge the darkness from their souls. These successors must have strong hearts and will, as well as unselfish desires and no sin. These traits usually fall into the category of heroes. The Soul Princes are:

Mario - "Prince of Flame", "The Red Server"

Sly Cooper - "Prince of Dimension", "The White Server"

Ratchet - "Prince of Storm", "The Yellow Server"

Link - "Prince of Earth", "The Green Server"

Sora - "Prince of Water", "The Cyan Server"

Sonic the Hedgehog - "Prince of Wind", "The Blue Server"

Rayman - "Prince of Shadow", "The Purple Server"

Soul Princes cannot be turned into Heartless unless they are forced into one. They can also resist all mind control and can resist 85% chance of being possessed. No bad effects happen when they use darkness, either.

Most people sleep upon the loss of their heart or die from losing their soul. Soul Princes are a different story. When a Soul Prince loses his heart, his body is still active, but unable to feel. Upon losing his soul is when he falls into slumber.

As the Soul Princes, the seven protagonists have powers over the Elements of True Light. Each of the seven elements corresponds to one Soul Prince, though Sly, the Prince of Dimension, has the ability to manipulate the other elements as well.

Exclusive for Soul Princes are ancient forms of magic, such as Ratchet's case, being able to use the ancient electric magic of the Galaxy Cluster called Mahou-Tech.

Each of the Princes have their own ways of manipulating what little darkness they have in them. The majority of them use it for basic, small attacks and mainy as a last resort. But Rayman, who is the Prince of Shadow, has more abilities with darkness than the other six.

They also have the ability to manipulate the Chaos Emeralds and World Rings.

Up next, lore on Nobodies.

Most Nobodies are born in the Realm of Nothing. By most, it means most of the Revived types. All Nobodies have traces of light and darkness in them, some more human than others. The best way to tell a Nobody from an actual person is to find traces of Nothing in them. Even the littlest pinch of it counts. However, the less Nothing one has, the more human they are.

Types

"Type" is not the same as "kind". There are three different types of Nobodies: the Revived, Reborn and Natural.

Revived

The most common type of Nobodies are the Revived. They are born when one turns into a Heartless or other situations that simulate the process. The Revived are the first debuted Nobodies, starring in Kingdom Hearts II as the main enemies. The most recognized Revived Nobodies are the members of Organization XIII, which was all adept Revived Nobodies.

Reborn

Due to the high circumstances, it is rare to see a Reborn. These Nobodies are created differently. One with a strong heart and will have died in the past, but unable to find peace due to something they regret not doing in their life, this leaving their hearts behind. A person deeply connected to that lost heart can separate some of their own souls from themselves to give to the heart, restoring the body. It can be considered "necromancing" because it is bringing someone back to life. One must have a strong connection to the host for it to work, though. Plus, they are not exactly 100% Nobody because of being revived, meaning they share no memories of their soul's origins, but the memories from the hearts they originally had.

Natural

The Natural Nobodies are the most rare type of Nobody for its strange circumstances. Unlike the first two, Nobodies in this category were born the way they are. Like the Reborn, a Natural needs some of the soul of another, but formation is different. The combination of light and darkness create the body and the soul creates its own heart. This means that they are, in a way, not at all the original.

List of Canon Nobodies:

Revived

Roxas: Sora's Nobody

Sicön the Hedgehog: Sonic's Nobody. Born in the Sky Citadel before it fell apart, Scion is the bi-product of Sonic's soul "fusing" with several loose shards of the Chaos Crystals and the large amount of energy from Lyric's robotic minions. Scion is discovered by Shadow, who reluctantly rescues him and decides to take the amnesiac and injured hedgehog to safety. After escaping the Sky Citadel, Scion attempts to leave before Shadow willingly allows him to stay with him. The two started living nearby each other in the comfort of the Hidden Meadow, and Shadow finds himself warming up to the sky blue hedgehog and even giving him his new name.

Aaron: Link's Nobody. Aaron's birth occurred during the midevents of the Twilight Princess era. Upon contact with Zant's curse and the spirit's light at the same time, the powerful energies disconnected some of Link's soul and flung it across Hyrule, landing in the Ordon Spring in Ordon Village. Seeing the lost, fractured soul, despite the essence of Twilight, Ordon took pity and shaped the light and dark matters together into a suitable body. To the spirit's surprise, the soul took charge of the body's form, giving it a similar appearance to Link in every way. Ordon saw this as a sign of dark magic and so sealed the "newborn" in a state of slumber.

After several decades, the strange soul awakened and began to walk with no meaning. A merchant discovered him while on his way to town and he let the young man work for him at his shop. Many of the townspeople began calling him "Demon Link" due to their similarities and the man's silver hair. The shopkeeper didn't believe the rumors and so gave his amnesiac employee the name "Aaron".

Mya Bloom: Amy Rose's Nobody. When Dr. Eggman was about to turn Tails into a Heartless with his new machine, Amy sacrificed herself for her friend, getting blasted instead. But she did not turn into a Heartless, which is because she turned out to be one of the Chaos Galaxy's Princesses of Heart. It still divided her soul and it became affected by the energy of Eggman's device and the power of the Crystal Shards.

Amy's Nobody became born in the Ocean Purification Plant, where she named herself "Mya" due to her not having Amy's memories accurately. Mya began to train herself during her time of solitude.

A group of the heroes find her at the Plant, fending herself against some leftover robots.

Blossom: Peach's Nobody, created when a pregnant Peach was possessed by the Shadow Queen during Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Jade: Zelda's Nobody

Naminé: Kairi's Nobody

Gidget: Talwyn Apogee's Nobody, created while Talwyn was imprisoned in Zordoom during Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

Lo: Ly the Fairy's Nobody.

Reborn

Connor Cooper: Sly Cooper's Nobody. While visiting Paris, Sly goes to his old childhood home. Unfortunately, this only makes him remember his father's death, putting him in grief. Searching his forgotten house, he finds a music box his parents always played for him. Upon contact however, it starts glowing and it softly speaks that it will rid him of the pain that's currently in his heart. Unable to interpret what it meant, the music box opens and starts playing the Cooper Melody. It flashes and Sly feels something "rip" out of him. He hears a groan on the ground floor and looks to see a raccoon that looks just like him.

Kaden: Ratchet's Nobody. "Created" using the same procedure that "created" Gidget.

María Fox: Carmelita's Nobody?

Natural

Luigi: Professor R - the spirit of Ruby - was doing research on how light and darkness can create miracles along with his pregnant assistant. On Day 3 of Project Luna, he accidentally poured dark and light substances onto a sonic eruptor, causing an energy wave of the two energies. Both him and his assistant were unharmed, but the assistant started feeling pain in her stomach the next day. They checked with an x -ray to see if the embryo of the baby was safe and discovered two embryos. Project Luna was put on hold because of this phenomenon.

After a month, the assistant named the two Mario and Luigi.

Drayke: Rayman's Nobody. Upon the destruction of Raymesis, Rayman's copy, a bit of the moonbeams that made up Rayman "snapped loose" along with the released darkness that made up the clone. The bits were driven by the wind and into the Cave of Bad Dreams, where they were discovered by the cave's guadian, Jano. Curious, the nightmare inspected the threads, seeing them tied together. With a Spool of Life he had, he wove them around along with a single Thread of Night. The threads then started becoming a person, a Raymai to be specific. Jano decided to name his creation Drayke.

Rayman and co. eventualy come to the Cave of Bad Dreams some time later. Drayke has already shown a huge case of shyness, hiding behind a rock behind Jano. The first to notice him is Rayman, who at first glance mistook him for Raymesis because of his pale grey glove. The new Raymai nervously introduces himself, asking them not to hurt him. Ray warmly greets him along with everyone else. Shortly after, the Magician tries to capture Drayle, but the team protects him. Jano sends Drayke with the team for his own protection.

Later in the story, Sora makes Wayfinders for the Soul Princes similar to the one given to him by Kairi.

"On my island, there are these fruits called Paopus and they represent an breakable connection between friends when shared. It is said that if you carry charms shaped like them, the bond will never break. Not even when you're many worlds apart."

-Sora, explaining the Wayfinder

"Poppy Wayfinder" - Mario's Wayfinder

"Pearl Wayfinder" - Sly Cooper's Wayfinder

"Gear Wayfinder" - Ratchet's Wayfinder

"Ivy Wayfinder" - Link's Wayfinder

Kairi's Wayfinder/"Sand Wayfinder" - Sora's Wayfinder

"Breeze Wayfinder" - Sonic the Hedgehog's Wayfinder

"Orchid Wayfinder" - Rayman's Wayfinder

Here are a few of the designs.

Poppy Wayfinder

The Poppy Wayfinder is the Wayfinder of Mario. Hence its name, the charm looks more like a poppy than a star with its scallop seashells and is poppy red, but with an addition of a few white spots like a mushroom. The hollow center has a yellow "M" wedged into it. The string is red orange and ends with a ruby.

Pearl Wayfinder

The Pearl Wayfinder is the Wayfinder of Sly Cooper. Sora makes it for him to symbolize their strong connection. The shells are mussels with a black outside and, hence its name, pearl white inside. The strings holding the five points are black with the blue Cooper insigma in the center. Its hanging string is blue with a pure white pearl on the end. It is considered the biggest of the Soul Princes' Wayfinders.

Gear Wayfinder

Ratchet's Wayfinder is the Gear Wayfinder. Unlike the other Wayfinders, Ratchet's is an actual gear like its name states. It's shiny steel with gold outlines and an Omniwrench symbol in the middle. Instead of a string, there's a steel coil coming out and on the end is a topaz.

The Sand Wayfinder is another name for Sora's Wayfinder, which was given to him by Kairi.

The Universe of Life

"Every world is connected by the sky. Each world sees each other as stars, and same goes for people. Within that sky of lights, there is always a chain of friendship that connects them."

-Sora's explanation of the universe

"One of the wackiest galaxies in this known universe. One rule to remember here: Always expect the unexpected."

- in-game description of the Mushroom Galaxy, Mario's home.

"Worlds filled with life that simulate the average man. Many wonders are within these planets waiting to be uncovered by other worlds."

- In-game description of the Anthro Galaxy, Sly's home.

"The superior "galaxy" in terms of technology. Many galaxies are close together and look huge compared to the others. This "colony" holds many secrets in its center."

- in-game description of the Galaxy Cluster, Ratchet's home.

Not really known for any chaos, but for the powers of Chaos itself. It was once rumored to be the planet of the "heart" of the universe."

- in-game description of the Chaos Galaxy, Sonic's home.

"Unlike all the others, this galaxy was formed from people's lost dreams. Here in these far reaches of space, the dreams take life and act with a will of their own. So anything can happen here."

- describing the Dream Galaxy, Rayman's home.

We never actually wrote descriptions for the Triforce Galaxy, Link's home, or the Galaxy of Hearts, Sora's home. Here is a list of known worlds in the Universe of Life, with "Terra" and a Roman numeral used to differentiate between Earths.

Many planets in the Galaxies are called "Earth". To differentiate, they are called "Terra" with a roman numeral.

- Emerald at the ending of the Faux Paradox Series
