Chapter 9 Heading into the forest and the castle part 2

After Inuyasha gets on Danny he takes one quick look back at his home. Then looking at the sky realizing that the new moon cycle will start in a few hours. So he has very limited time till he can find his father and get back home before he changes to his human form. So taking a deep breath he urges Danny to enter the forest. Meanwhile back at the house Melissa finally arrives home. Then entering the house she noticed that the lights are off thinking that Inuyasha must be asleep.

So she quietly put the groceries away. After doing that she grabbed some of the leftovers and warmed them up to have a quick dinner. But then she noticed that there was a vase filled with roses in the living room on the coffee table. Which wasn't there this morning. Then she notice that there was a tag on it stating from Theo to Inuyasha. She the realizing that her son took her advice to give him a chance after all. After finishing her dinner Melissa put the dishes in the dishwasher. Then went her bathroom in the master bedroom decided to take a quick shower then got into bed afterwards.

Meanwhile while Melissa arrived home she was unaware that she just missed Inuyasha leaving house just by a matter of seconds. Inuyasha eventually made it to the forest. Deciding to take one final look back at his home. Feeling a certain shiver of regret and fear that he won't see his mother again for a while. Since he is such a momma's boy. Then remembering that he needs to make it fast since he has limited time. So urging Danny on they both entered the forest. After thirty minutes he came upon a fork in the path to take. Looking at both noticing that one is blocked off. But the other has carriage tracks down it. Figuring out that is his route.

Heading down it then eventually coming to a clearing and another path. Seeing that path also has carriage tracks as well. But just before going down it he heard wolves but knew who they were Koga, Ginta, Hakkaku, Aiden, and Hojo. Smiling to himself knowing that they won't harm him since they are friends because they knew each other since he was a little. When Inuyasha was young he would usually sneak out of the house to go play with them most nights when his parents were asleep.

Then he looked around. Noticed that they were watching him protectively. Then turning back to the path he and Danny headed down it. For a while they eventually came upon a castle. Hopping off of Danny. Inuyasha headed to the gate then notice a coat laying on the ground inside. Realizing that it was his father's. Panicking rushing through the gate. Picking it up smelling it plus holding it close. Inuyasha started to cry but then realized that there were footprints leading to the doors. Heading to the doors Inuyasha calmly opening them then walked in. Once inside looking around all Inuyasha could see was the dim lights of candles and a lot of cobwebs.

Heading down a hallway going past a slightly open set of doors not realizing that there was a light on.

Chris and Peter noticing a silhouette of a person walking by the door. They heard someone say "Papa." Peeking out then seeing that it was a boy. But not just a boy but a boy with dog years and claws with long mid spine length silver hair.

CHRIS

It's a boy.

PETER

I know it's a boy.

CHRIS

He is the one that we have being waiting for. He has come to break the spell.

Pressing on down the hallway searching each room he passed. But no luck and still no sign of life in any of the rooms. But then Inuyasha finally noticed an odd looking door at the end of the hall. Eventually coming upon a steel door and realizing it must be a door to a dungeon. Taking a deep breath opening the door then entering in the room.

Inuyasha says hello is someone there. I'm looking for my father.

Noticing a spiral staircase leading upwards.

But unknowingly to Inuyasha not realizing that he was being followed.

Inuyasha say is anyone here.

INUYASHA?

Inuyasha heard his name being said then realizing that the voice belongs to his father. Running to the cell grabbing his father's hands feeling that they are very cold to the touch. Rafael then warns his son that he needs to leave that is not safe here.
