Chapter 10 Inuyasha meeting the beast and trading his freedom for Rafael's
Inuyasha then asks his father who has done this to you.
RAFAEL
You can't be here you must go, GO NOW.
BEAST
WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?
RAFAEL
RUN INUYASHA.
INUYASHA
Who is there.
BEAST
THE MASTER OF THE CASTLE.
INUYASHA
Can't you see that my father is sick, he could die.
BEAST
THEN HE SHOULDN'T HAVE TRESPASSED HERE.
INUYASHA
Please let him go I will do anything.
BEAST
THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO HE IS MY PRISONER.
INUYASHA
Wait take me instead.
BEAST
YOU?
YOU WOULD TAKE HIS PLACE.
INUYASHA
If I did would you let him go.
BEAST
YES! BUT YOU MUST PROMISE TO STAY HERE FOREVER.
INUYASHA
Come into the light.
The beast comes into the light. Inuyasha then gasps.
RAFAEL
No Inuyasha. I won't let you do this.
INUYASHA
You have my word.
BEAST
DONE
RAFAEL
Inuyasha I am old and I have lived my life.
Then the beast grabs him by the shirt and drags him outside. Then brings him to the carriage that was under the spell by the enchantress.
BEAST
He is no longer your concern.
Then tosses him in the carriage.
BEAST
Take him to the village.
Then the beast goes back inside.
CHRIS
Since he will be staying here maybe you should offer him a more comfortable room.
BEAST
Growls.
CHRIS
Then again maybe not.
Inuyasha is crying and notices that the beast is back. Then says you didn't let me say goodbye. I will never see him again you didn't let me say goodbye.
BEAST
I will show you to your room.
INUYASHA
My room? but I thought.
BEAST
DO YOU WANT TO STAY IN THE TOWER.
INUYASHA
No.
BEAST
THEN FOLLOW ME.
While heading to the room that he will be staying in. Chris tells the beast to say something to him. The beast then says I hope you will like it here. Then Chris does a hand motion telling him to say more. The beast then says that the castle is your home now your free to explore wherever you like except the west wing. Inuyasha asks what's in the west wing.
The beast states that it is FORBIDDEN then growls. Then continuing on the hall the beast finally arrives to his objective. Then shows Inuyasha his room. But when he looks at Inuyasha again he looks completely different. Then Inuyasha ask what are you staring at.
The beast nervously rubs his neck.
Then says wasn't your hair silver and didn't you have dog ears. Then Inuyasha realizing what he means and now is freaking out. Then Chris says to the beast try to calm him down. Then the beast out stretches a paw to hold onto Inuyasha's shoulder. Then says hey you need to calm down I am not going to hurt you I am just curious why you look like this now. Inuyasha just blushes then starts to mumble. Then says I don't really feel comfortable telling you. The beast just rolls his eyes. Then says this is your room. Then Chris whispers to the beast suggesting to him to ask the boy to dinner. Then the beast politely asks him but realizing he doesn't even know the boys name. Then the beast asks him what his name was. Inuyasha responds by saying my name is Inuyasha.
The beast then makes a purring growl then says that is a beautiful name. Inuyasha blushes. Then the beast says to Inuyasha if he would like to join him for dinner. Inuyasha just went wide eye in surprise that the beast is being polite. But Inuyasha reluctantly says YES. The beast says excellent I will send someone to guide you to the dining room when dinner is ready. Inuyasha then says ok. But asks do I have to dress in any particular way for the dinner? Then beast ponders on that for a moment. Then looks at what Inuyasha was wearing, then states no what you are wearing is just fine unless you want to. Then Inuyasha says thank you I will think about it. Then the beast says see you at dinner.
Then the beast turns to leave. But before he is out of earshot Inuyasha says may I know your name? The beast turns around and ponders it for a moment and says you may. My Name is Scott. Inuyasha says Scott wow small world my bestfriend and first crush was named Scott but sadly he died years ago. Then Scott then says that is a shame I would have love to meet this Scott. Scott also says I am sorry for your loss I hope his passing was peaceful. Inuyasha says that it was he died in his sleep. Then Inuyasha says I will be down soon just let me collect myself and calm down. Scott says take your time dinner won't be ready for a bit then he "winks."
