Chapter 21 The engagement and special news After a year later things in the castle got back to normal. Strangely the castle seem to become more like a home to Inuyasha. But he did somewhat miss his old life. Not enough to leave his new life all behind though. Throughout the year Inuyasha would regularly visit his parents. Now that a single pathway straight from the castle to the his home was cut away. Then one day during the fall Inuyasha and Scott go to the McCall's house to ask them something. Arriving the small cottage. Inuyasha knocks on the door and Rafael answers it. Seeing that it was his son he pulls him in a big hug. Then asks what do I owe this surprise visit. Inuyasha just blushes. Then Scott asks if they could come in. Rafael nods then ask if either of them was something to drink. They both nod.

Rafael goes to the kitchen then two minutes later comes back with mugs with tea. Then hands a mug to both of them. Then sits down and asks Inuyasha what is going on. Inuyasha nervously fidgets, but finally says Dad I was wondering if you and mom would be willing to move in the castle with us. Rafael is just surprised in the question. Then nervously rubs his neck. Then says yes but I will have to ask your mother since the cottage is her family home. If she is willing to leave it since it has been in her family for generations. Inuyasha say that is fine take your time. Then Scott and Inuyasha get up to leave but Rafael says since it is late why don't you both stay the night. They just both nod.

So they both go up to Inuyasha's old room to go sleep. The next morning the boys wake up to the smell of food. So they quickly get up and wash up then head downstairs to the dining room. The four of the sit at the table and Inuyasha says a prayer. Then they start to dig in. Twenty minutes later Rafael says that he and Melissa talked about it and have decided to sell the cottage and move in. So then the rest of the day was spent packing things up and filling up the carriage.

Then following day the cottage was sold to a young married couple that was expecting to have kids born soon. Then later that day they all rode the carriage to the castle together. Then eventually arrive to the castle at nightfall. But then that same night Inuyasha was cuddling Scott in their bedroom then heard a mournful howl. Jumping out of bed running out of the room he headed down to the entrance and out to the forest. Eventually making it to the forest he headed to the location where the crying was coming from then what he saw made him break out in tears.

On the ground covered in blood was Aiden dead and in the arms of Koga was a pup. Inuyasha then realized the Aiden had died in childbirth of his and Koga's child. Without thinking Inuyasha runs to Koga's side to comfort him. Koga just looks to Inuyasha with tear filled eyes and holds his child in his arms. Inuyasha now noticing that it was a boy and its eyes were red-orange like Koga's symbolizing that his son is an alpha, and Koga has an heir to lead the pack when he retires or dies of old age. Inuyasha taking hold of the newborn pup so that Koga and the rest of the pack could properly give Aiden a grave that would be proper for the last of the omega werewolves. Then after finishing his grave they then heard the sound of running coming towards them.

Then taking a fighting stance while standing in front of Inuyasha since he was still holding the pup. But Inuyasha then catches a whiff of a familiar scent. Then tells them it is all right it is just my mate. Then as he said that Scott appears. Then just stares with bloodred eyes at them searching for something. Then they get out of the way of Inuyasha knowing that is what he was looking for. Then Scott runs up to hug him but Inuyasha puts a hand up to usher him to stop. Then points to what he was holding. Scott looks down to the pup then back to Inuyasha. Then Inuyasha says it is not mine. Then he points to Koga then back to the pup. Then Scott understands. Then Scott says what happened wasn't there five of them.

Then Scott notices the sad looks on the packs faces. Then realization hits him. Then not realizing it Scott runs over to Koga, and the others. Then gives them a big hug of comfort. After an hour of cuddling and comfort, then Inuyasha and Scott bid their goodbyes. Then they head back to the castle looking to the sky then realizing that it was morning and nearing breakfast time. They both decided to go for a hunt together for the first time as a couple. After a hour of searching for critters they finally come upon a burrow of rabbits. Then humanly killing them they feast on their kill, and have small conversation while doing so. Then they both head to the creek then disrobe and jump in so to wash the blood off. Then decided to lay out on the grass to airdry not caring that they were naked even though they were alone.

Then ten minutes later Inuyasha breaks the silence and asks Scott if it would be okay if the his pack could move in the castle with them. Scott just goes wide eyed, and turns to Inuyasha then says what has brought this on. Inuyasha then says I know that you are my family and my adoptive parents are my family, and they already moved in. But they are my family as well they raised me for a few years. Plus it would make me feel better knowing that they are safe. Even more now that they have a new pup in the pack. I don't know if it my female omega heritage acting up or my strong bond with them. But I would feel a whole lot better knowing that they are safe.

Scott ponders on it for a moment then nods yes. Inuyasha then gives Scott a big hug and a kiss on the lips. Since they are dry now they both got dressed. Then headed back to the castle. They eventually arrived to the castle then heading inside to give the news to the occupants. A week later a new addon to the castle was made into a nest for the werewolf pack. Then a hour later at dinner Scott takes Inuyasha out on the ballroom balcony. Inuyasha notices that Scott is nervous about something. Then Scott starts to mumble. Then Inuyasha says what is that you are holding. Then Scott says it again but more clearly.

Inuyasha I know when we first met it wasn't on very good terms. But in the past year you have slowing healed my hardened heart. Then showed me that love can be very powerful and enduring. Also bringing a new light in my life.br /Then he bends down on one knee holds out a small box, and opens it. Inuyasha just gasps. Then stares at the ring inside the small blue box.

SCOTT Would you do me this honor on becoming my husband. I will love you always and forever. Even until my final breath in this life to the next.Inuyasha just blushes and blinks rapidly. Then leaning down to Scotts level he says just one little word.

INUYASHA

Yes! I will marry you, and it will be a honor to become your husband.

Then the next day Scott and Inuyasha go to the McCall's bedroom in the castle to give them the news. At first they were mad and shocked at first. But were just as surprised that they were moving so quickly. Rushing into things so quickly. Shaking their heads. Then Rafael says to Melissa remember we did the same thing we went behind our parents back as well, and got engaged. Melissa just laughs then says you are right. Then they both look to them. Then nods their heads. Inuyasha then runs over to his parents. Then wraps them both in a big hug. Then Rafael says when is the big day. Three weeks from now Inuyasha says. Rafael was about detest the notion but then decided not to so not to anger them.

They were about to leave but they noticed that it had gotten dark out plus it was nearing dinnertime. So Rafael and Melissa ask them to have dinner with them. Scott and Inuyasha look to each other then back to them and then nod. While dinner was being made Inuyasha takes Scott to his old bedroom in the castle and introduces him to videogames and cartoons. For the next hour Scott was finally living a normal life. Then they both heard a call to them saying that dinner is ready. Inuyasha and Scott head to the bathroom and they wash up for dinner. So they head to the dining hall holding hands.

Then three days later after the ordeal of Aiden's death, and the birth of his pup, Scott and Inuyasha go to the forest together to give the good news to them. Eventually arriving to the cave of the pack they entered it. But saw that they were still asleep. A few hours later they begin to stir as though waking up which was the case. Then Inuyasha and Scott say good morning. They all quickly look to Inuyasha and Scott. Then they say good morning as well. Then when they were fully awake Koga says what are you guys doing here. Inuyasha just says we wanted to surprise you. Koga just looks to them with confusion. Then he notices the ring on Inuyasha's finger and the letter in the same hand. Koga jumping up and running over to his pup. Then grasp the hand that the ring is on.

Then Growls at Scott. Scott getting the realization that he is mad that he didn't ask his permission first. Even though Inuyasha's parents were shocked but approved. Inuyasha then pulls his hand back. Then says yes my pack dad he has asked my hand in marriage. That is one of the reasons why that we came here for Scott wanted to see if you are alright with it. Koga looks to Scott then to Inuyasha then back to Scott but all he could see is the unbelievable love that Scott has for his pup. Then Koga says yes you have my permission to marry my pup Scott. But I will warn you if you hurt or harm in anyway I will show you mercy at all. Scott just nods. Then Inuyasha hands the letter to Koga. Koga then opens it and reads it the letter stats.

Dear Koga My Pack Dad, Me and my Fiancé have decided to invite you and your pack to live with us. That is if you want to. We will not force you to move in. The decision will be totally yours. Sincerely, Inuyasha and Scott

Koga then folds the letter, and looks to his pup then to his pup's fiancé. Then looks back to the pack, and they just nod yes. Then Koga says yes that he and the pack will be honored to. Inuyasha couldn't help but jump for joy. Then after doing so he calmed down enough to give his fiancé a hug then his pack dad. Then thirty minutes later after all the belongings that the pack owned were packed Inuyasha picks up the packs carrying them all. Then lastly Koga picks up his pup then they all head to the castle together as a new pack, and family.
