Chapter 22 Koga's news, Three weeks later and the wedding

Two days later after Koga and the rest were situated. Inuyasha and Scott go down to the cave nest made for them to ask them something. Approaching the door to the cave Inuyasha looks to Scott nervously. Then Scott says it will be ok I am sure they he would be honored to walk you down the aisle. Inuyasha just gives yet another nervous look. Then Scott takes Inuyasha's hands in his then says you can do this I believe in you. Hearing that Inuyasha finally works up the courage then reaches for the door then opening it and walking through. Then they headed down the stairs down to the cave. Eventually arriving to the cave before he could react Inuyasha was tackled by a small wolf pup. Recovering his bearings standing up then leaning down to pick up the pup and nuzzle him.

Then getting a good look at the pup and was surprised how big he has gotten in less that a week. Then realizing that alpha's grow slightly faster than normal. Then hearing running footsteps then Inuyasha looked up and saw Koga running towards them breathing hard and fast. Then Koga says finally my son is a quick little bugger for being so young. But what brings you here pup. Inuyasha just blushes then says I was wondering since I am getting married in three weeks. I then realized that I don't have anyone to walk me down the aisle. I was wondering if you will be willing to do it for me. I would ask my adoptive father but my connection with you is much more fierce. I think of you as my real father so it would make all the better for you to do it. Koga just looks at his pup with his mouth agape and shock.

Then ponders on it for the moment. Then says yes it would be my greatest honor to give you away my pup. Inuyasha just breakout in tears of happiness then he enveloped Koga in a hug. Then Koga says that I have something to ask you as well. Inuyasha eyes went wide in shock but looks to him with curiosity. Koga then says I would like you to be the godfather of my pup. Inuyasha eye's just bulged out in surprised at the question. Then Koga says did you hear me. Inuyasha says yes I did I am just shocked that you would choose me and not Hojo since he was Aiden's father. Koga then says I did but he declined and the twins are too young still to take on such a task. So Inuyasha takes a moment to ponder on it then says it would me my upmost honor to be his godfather. Then as his godfather I request to know his name. Koga just smiles then says Adrian is his name. It was the last thing that Aiden said before he died.

Inuyasha understands that Aiden chose to use his last breath to name his son is just heartwarming. Inuyasha and Koga break from the hug. Then bid their goodbyes. Nineteen days later the castle was in an uproar since the wedding was just two days away. So everyone worked as hard as they could to get everything ready then the invitations were sent out. Then later Inuyasha went down to the cave to spend the night with his pack. But hardly was able to sleep because of nerves. But was able to get at a nice long sleep for the big event coming up. Then the following morning Inuyasha was woken up by the sound of yips and barks then the occasionally licking to his face. Then upon opening his eyes he saw little Adrian trying to wake him up. Then Inuyasha says morning little one.

But then Inuyasha hears a voice in his mind. It said godfather wake you lazy bum it is your special day today and you must not be late. Bolting up plus surprising Adrian by the sudden movement Inuyasha hurries to gather his things. Then heads back up to the castle then going towards his room. Then after entering his room he saw the twins there fighting as always. Then Inuyasha clears his throat which got their attention. So then getting the realization that they should leave. After they left Inuyasha rushed to the door then closed it. But two minutes later there was a knock at the door. Inuyasha groans but gets up and unlocks the door then opens it to reveal it was Koga. Then Koga says is everything okay pup. Inuyasha just gives him a look disgust. Then asks are you regretting to get married. Inuyasha says no not at all. It is the fact I am grown up now and I am getting married now to. Koga just chuckles then says I know how you feel.

Inuyasha looks to him with surprise. Then says you had second thoughts on getting married as well and how your life is going by so fast. Koga nods. When Aiden and I first got engaged we were wondering if we should do this. Then Aiden say since my parents marriage didn't work out and neither did yours. Then I said even though our parents had bad luck in their marriage doesn't mean we will. Saying that reassured him into taking the leap of faith. Then three months later he took me out on a date and purposed. Then weeks later we broke the news to our parents and they were just happy that we found someone. Then they wished us luck and gave their blessings.

During the time Koga was telling his pup about his nervous experience of taking the leap to get married two hours had passed. Then there was a knock at the door. Inuyasha says come in. The door opens to reveal Chris and Rafael. They say what is holding you up we are only an hour away from the ceremony. Then Inuyasha starts panicking then Koga holds him still. Then tells him to calm down. Then looks to the others to leave. Sensing his anger they left without question. Once they left Inuyasha went behind the changing vizor and put on his wedding clothes. Twenty minutes later Inuyasha comes out in a bloodred and gold dress with white and red roses. Koga was just awestricken on how amazing his pup looks. Then Inuyasha says well how do I look.

Koga then says you look really amazing. Inuyasha just blushes. Then there was multiple knocks at the door. Then Koga says I guess it is time. From their urgent knocking. So Koga holds a arm out to Inuyasha. Then Inuyasha loops an arm around it then Koga says ready. Inuyasha nods. So they both walk out of the room then down then hall then out the door. Then walking up to the ballroom door Inuyasha puts his vail down then nods to the guards and they open the doors. Then they walk through. The next thing Inuyasha sees everyone standing up and looking their way. Scott looks towards Inuyasha and just nearly faints on how amazing that he looks. Then Koga looks to Inuyasha then says here were go. After ten minutes of walking down the aisle Inuyasha finally arrives. Then after giving a hug to Koga then walking up and facing Scott. Koga takes a seat next to the McCall's. Then the priest tells everyone to sit down and they do. Then the priest starts to begin the ceremony

PRIEST
We are gathered here today to bond this Werewolf and Half-demon in holy matrimony. If there is anyone here that disagrees with this union speak now.
No one says anything.
PRIEST
I am sure that both parties have agreed and given their blessing in this union.
RAFAEL and MELISSA
Both stand and say we have

Stands up and says I have
PRIEST
Great. Now the vows.
SCOTT
Inuyasha when I first met you were only a prisoner and I was just a monster to you. But slowly as the days went by I grew more and more attached to you. Then with each day I felt my heart becoming less and less colder. Then before I knew it I was falling for you. But then when you left to save your parents my heart broke. Then thinking that you will never return. But then you came back, and saved my life. Then I knew it you were the one for me. Since you went so far risking your own safety for me. I will love you forever and always.
INUYASHA
Scott when I first met you all I saw was a monster. That was cold and heartless. But as the days went by I realized that there was something hidden beneath the surface of that rough exterior. Then before long I saw that you had good in you. Also when you released me to go save my parents you showed that you were kind and gentle and you had a heart. Then I started to become very fond of you. Then before long I was falling for you. I will love you forever and always.
PRIEST
Now that the vows have been said may I have the rings.
Ginta and Hakkaku walk up each carrying a pillow with a ring on top. Scott and Inuyasha both reach for the ring on the opposite pillow.
PRIEST
Scott say with me.
PRIEST AND SCOTT
I, Scott take you, Inuyasha to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.
Scott puts the ring on Inuyasha's ring finger.
PRIEST Inuyasha say with me. PRIEST AND INUYASHA
I, Inuyasha take you, Scott to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.
Inuyasha put the ring on Scott's ring finger.
PRIEST
You have declared your consent before the Church. I now pronounce you HUSBAND AND HUSBAND. You may now kiss.
Scott lifts Inuyasha vail then embraces Inuyasha then gives him a kiss.

Later after the ceremony was over Inuyasha and Scott head to the dining room to join in the festivities. Then went to grab a plate. Then piled it high with various foods. Then they started to feed each other. Then Rafael and Melissa walk over to them. Then handed Inuyasha a small box. Scott taking the plate for Inuyasha. Then Inuyasha took the box upon opening it revealing a beaded necklace. Then looking to his parents shocked wondering where they have found this because it belonged to his birth mother. Then they said to Inuyasha that just appeared at our door one day when you were little with a note entailing that it is not to be given to you till you are married as it was an old family tradition that your family had for the bride to have this as proof of being a married person.

Inuyasha then nods takes the necklace out and puts it on. Then hugs his parents. Then they take their leave after saying they are happy that he has found someone finally. Then Scott and Inuyasha go and open more wedding gifts then the cake was cut. Then a few hours later everyone went to the ballroom to dance the rest of the night. Four hours later the guest left. Then mess from the party was cleaned up and the leftover food was packed away in the fridge and freezer so not to spoil and then the married couple bid everyone goodnight.
