Chapter 30 Bed rest and Inuyasha's second trimester

Your pregnant?
Inuyasha
Yes, mom I am we wanted to tell you, but Scott suggested that we wait. Because I was scared that you would be mad. Also think that Scott and I were rushing into things.
Melissa
Honey, I would never be mad at you, ever. Plus, I knew how much you wanted to have a family of your own when you grew up.
Inuyasha jumps up out of the bed and hugs his mom and starts crying for joy.
Koga
Did I hear correctly that my pup is Prego or am I mistaken?
Inuyasha
No pack father you heard correctly. I am pregnant and have been for seven weeks now.
Koga
SEVEN WEEKS SERIOUSLY WHY HAVE YOU HIDDEN THIS FROM ME I AM YOUR PACK FATHER AND ALPHA. WE DON'T KEEP SECRETS FROM THE PACK YOU KNOW THAT.
Inuyasha
Calm down pack father I wanted to tell you. But like you heard Scott wanted us to wait. So, we would be sure it is true. And fyi you're not my alpha anymore Scott is. But anyway, now you two know and I am sorry that I kept it from you.
Koga
Fine pup I understand you had your reasons to keep it secret. But I am happy for you and support you no matter what your choice is.
Inuyasha
Thanks pack father I appreciate it truly.
Koga
So, when is the big day?
Inuyasha
That is what we were worried about. Since it will be mostly werewolf and a quarter human and demon. The gestation period is unknown with me being half human and half demon. Not to mention we have no knowledge of hybrids.
Koga
That is true. Coming from that I do now see the dilemma that you're both in. But anyway. you look very tired pup you should get some more rest after you eat something.
At the mention of food Inuyasha's belly growls loud enough for all the occupants in the room to hear. In which causing everyone to laugh.
Melissa
Scott, you stay here and care for him while I and Koga go make some remedies and food that my parents taught me that should help with his pregnancy.
Scott
Thanks, mom I won't don't you worry about that! He shall not leave my sight.
Melissa
Good!
After finding out the news everyone besides Scott leaves Inuyasha in the bedroom. Scott then climbs in bed which allow Inuyasha to lay his head in his lap. Scott then start combing his clawed fingers Inuyasha's long silver hair. Which causes Inuyasha too let out a growling like purr.
Scott
So, now they know that means it won't take long for the rest of the castle to learn of the news hun. Soon you will become the center of attention again like when you first came to the castle.
Inuyasha
Yes, I realized that so that means I will be waited on hand and foot again. Not by the servants but by you only now.
Scott
Anything for you babe. You know that I care for your well-being and will be honored to serve you.
As Scott and Inuyasha were talking they didn't realize that there was a knocking on the door.
Scott
Come in!
Melissa opens the door. Then walks into the room with a cart full of pregnancy remedies and food. Then goes over to the side of the bed and places a small tray of prenatal vitamins and herbs on the bedside table. Then leaves but not before placing a kiss on Inuyasha's forehead.
Melissa
Goodnight son sweet dreams love you.
Inuyasha and Scott
Thanks mom, goodnight and love you as well.
Melissa then leaves, and on her way out of the room she closes the door. Inuyasha then sits up sitting in Scott's lap facing him so it will make it easier for Scott to feed him.
(Small time skip)
For the next seven weeks was pretty much the same. Scott waded on hand and foot for his mate. Inuyasha stayed in bed most of the time other than using the bathroom and showering. By the end of the fourteenth week Inuyasha's hormones and vitals stabilized enough for him to finally to be able to leave the bedroom.
(Time skip end)
On the morning of the first day of week fifteen after being cooped up in the bedroom for last two months Inuyasha was help that he could finally get out of the bedroom again. But when Inuyasha woke up he noticed that Scott was missing. So, he carefully got out of the bed to go look for him. By the time he got to the dining room after looking everywhere else. Inuyasha saw the cutest thing he has ever seen before. Scott in nothing but track shorts and an apron cooking and playing with Adrian.
Inuyasha then leans against the doorway with his arms crossed just watching the scene unfold. For a good thirty minutes Inuyasha just watches scene contently. After Scott finally finishes cooking. He then notices Inuyasha just standing there.
Scott
Hun, how long have you been standing there?
Inuyasha
For the last hour. Watching the most adorable scene ever. But why is Adrian with you shouldn't he be with Koga.
Scott
Well, Koga had to leave for some family business back at his homeland. Plus thought it was unwise to bring Adrian on such a long journey.
Inuyasha
What about the twins?
Scott
They are out on a date with Shippou.
Inuyasha
His grandfather?
Scott
Well he is still on bed rest since his last stroke. So, that left me since you were still sleeping. Also Melissa told me to tell you that she and Rafael will be gone on their anniversary for the rest of the month.
Inuyasha
So, that means that we have the castle all to ourselves for the rest of the day then.
Scott
Well yes and no. The twins and Shippou should be back in a few hours to take care of Adrian while his father is away. Sesshomaru is in the library. Strangely he has been going there a lot.
Inuyasha
So, how about the three of us eat this delicious looking food you cooked. Then put Adrian down for a nap in the nursery. So, you and I can have a date when the twins return from their date.
Scott
What do you have in mind?
Inuyasha
That is for me to know and you to find out.
Sesshomaru
(Clears throat) Don't you mean four of us. I smelled the food from the library, and I am quite famished.
Scott
There is more than enough for all of us. You're welcome to join us.
Scott looks to Inuyasha for approval. Inuyasha then nods his head.
Inuyasha
But since you invited yourself bro you will have to clean up afterwards and put Adrian down for a nap.
Sesshomaru
Deal! That seems fair.
Inuyasha then goes to start setting up the table for the four of them. But Sesshomaru tells him to sit down and let him do it. So, Scott puts Adrian in a highchair, then He and Inuyasha sits down patiently. Five minutes later, Sesshomaru finishes setting the table. But before he sits down Sesshomaru starts filling everyone's plates with portions of everything that Scott cooked. But gave Adrian a tiny portion of it, also cuts the food into little bit sized pieces making it easier for him.
After all that Sesshomaru starts to hand a plate to everyone. Then sits down himself while holding his plate. Twenty minutes later with bellies fill and most of the food ate. Scott and Inuyasha get up and thanks Sesshomaru for staying behind to clean up and to take care of Adrian as well for them. Scott and Inuyasha then leave the dining room but not before kissing Adrian on the forehead. Then head to their bedroom.
Ten minutes later, after Scott and Inuyasha arrived to the bedroom they both strip naked and went to the bathroom to take a bath together and relax the large meal off.
