Chapter 31 Inuyasha's birthday and the new moon
After stripping down naked they both headed to the bathroom. Scott turned on the water to get it at the right temperature. After five minutes Scott checked the temperature of the water and it was perfect, so he plugged the drain. After doing so Scott and Inuyasha brushed their teeth and relieved themselves. Three minutes later, after all that the tub was filled enough of water. Scott turns to Inuyasha picking him up bridal style the water off then steps in.
Scott slowly crouches down with Inuyasha in his arms. After two minutes Scott finally sits down in the water then places Inuyasha in his lap. Scott then grabs the bar soap and loofa lathering it up. After it was lathered up Scott starts to scrub Inuyasha's body. After doing so Scott gives the loofa to Inuyasha so he could do the same to him.
As Inuyasha was scrubbing Scott he was licking Inuyasha's neck and without warning he bites down hard to finally mark his mate as his and to officially complete the mate bond. But by doing so causes Inuyasha to orgasm and moan like a bitch in heat. Thirty minutes later, after the bath was done Scott picks Inuyasha up in his arms then slowly and carefully stands up. Scott then grabs a towel as he walks out of the bathroom to the bed.
Placing the towel down on the bed then sets Inuyasha down on the towel. Scott leaves Inuyasha for a minute to go drain the water. Two minutes later, returns with a bigger towel then starts to dry off Inuyasha and then himself. After they were dried off Scott tosses both towels in the hamper then they both put on some clothes and head down to the gardens. Upon arriving to the gardens, they run into the twins.

Hey boys how was the date?

It was amazing. Your nephew is an amazing fellow not to mention funny as hell.
Scott
I am glad to hear that. So Inuyasha and I were about to go for a run for a little while until lunch do you two want to join.
Ginta and Hakkaku
We would love to. If you don't think that we will be a bother.
Scott
Not at all.
So, the four stripped down naked and shifted into their primal forms and went for a run for until lunch. four hours later, the group arrived back at the gardens shifting back into their humanoid forms. Not caring that they were naked they all headed for the lake to go for a swim for until lunchtime. Hour and a half later, the group got out of the water they all laid down on the grass for to sunbathe for and airdry for the next thirty minutes.
Thirty minutes later, the group got up and headed back to the gardens. Ten minutes later, they finally arrived at the gardens they walked over to their clothes and dressed. After getting dressed the four of them headed back into the castle. But upon arriving inside the entrance, they ran into Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru
There you are brother! I have been looking for you all morning! Where the hell have you been?
Inuyasha
Well after Scott and I left you to clean up the dining room. We went back to our room to bathe then after we went outside for a run. But on our way to the gardens, we ran into the twins. So, we asked if they wanted to come along, and they agreed. Then the four of us went for a run for a few hours. Afterwards we went for a swim for an hour and a half. Lastly, we sunbathed for a half hour and here we are.
Sesshomaru
I realized that much. What I meant was that don't you know what day it is?
Inuyasha
Well, it is the night of the new moon. So, I don't get the big deal.
Sesshomaru
Yes, it is the night of the new moon, but it is also your birthday. Plus, it is just not any birthday but your 30th. On a demon's 30th birthday their true power is unlocked.
Inuyasha
SHIT! I completely forgot about that and what it signified.
Sesshomaru
So, I have been tasked to keep you out here until the party is ready. How about you and I go fishing just us brothers to keep your mind off of today.
Inuyasha
Nah, I am completely worn out. I rather go to my bedroom and take a nap after having a quick bite to eat.
Scott then slaps Inuyasha on the back of the head for his rudeness to his brother.
Inuyasha
OUCH SCOTT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?
Scott
That was because of your rudeness and disrespect of your brother. I thought that Koga and the McCall's raise you better than this.
Inuyasha
FINE! Yes, I would be delighted to spend time with you. But you Scott owe me one.
Scott
Deal! Now run along hun, and be nice to your brother Sesshomaru or I will make you regret it.
Sesshomaru
DUELY NOTED BRO!
So, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru went to the storage shed to grab the fishing supplies. But as they were doing that Scott left and returned with a picnic basket filled with the leftovers from breakfast and a blanket as well. Now that the brothers have the supplies needed for the bonding trip, they left the shed. But upon leaving the shed they noticed that Scott was returning with a basket and a blanket. The brothers thanked Scott for the items and then left.
But before leaving Inuyasha gave Scott a kiss on the lips and a lick to the face making him blush crimson. Causing the twins and Sesshomaru to laugh. Then Inuyasha left with a seductive smile and wink on his face. Twenty minutes later Inuyasha and Sesshomaru arrived at the lake. Before anything they set up the blanket and placed everything on it then sat down. A minutes later they had a quick snack. Then, used the leftover scraps as bait then cast out their lines.
After ten minutes of trying, they were finally getting bites. So, far the fish they caught were too small to consider keep for food. Thirty minutes later they started to catch bigger and bigger fish that were worthy to keep for food. Two hours later and all of the scraps used up and a basket full of fish they decided to pack up and head back to the castle. Five minutes later, gear collected, and blanket folded they started heading back to the castle.
Twenty minutes later they finally arrived back at the castle. Before entering the castle, the brother put the gear back in the shed then closed and locked the shed. A minute later as Inuyasha started to walk through the castle gates Sesshomaru stopped him to give Inuyasha the present that he got for him.

Sesshomaru

Inuyasha then opens the box. But when he saw what was inside surprised him. The box contained an outfit similar looking to Sesshomaru's but it was a combination of his, their fathers and Sesshomaru's. Which symbolizes that he will be the next lord of demon.
Inuyasha
But this outfit is one that symbolizes lordship and I thought that you would take up the that mantle instead.
Sesshomaru
I was going to! But since I don't see myself getting married or even producing an heir anytime soon. You seem to be the next logical choice. Since you are married, mated and have an heir on the way.
Inuyasha
How do you know that I am mated and pregnant?
Sesshomaru
(Psshh) Silly I saw Scott's mating mark on you this morning and I know that you are pregnant. Because of Shippou. You know that goofball can't keep a secret. Not to mention even if he didn't say anything. I would have smelled the growing life inside you so yeah.
Inuyasha nearly drops the outfit when he tackled Sesshomaru to the ground wrapping him in a big hug.
Sesshomaru
Whoa there bro! I am happy that you enjoyed the gift. But you need to be careful you know that right.
Inuyasha
Come on bro you know that I am pretty durable and not to mention I not that far along yet. So, there is a greatly less of chance of something happening. Being said and all I think we should get inside soon the sky has darkened quite quickly. Not to mention like you said that it is the night of the new moon, so it won't be safe for me to be outside. Also, I will be in greater danger if someone other than someone close to me learns my secret. Then I will be screwed.
Scott
Not if I have anything to say about it my sweet.
Both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru turn in surprise and in shock on how easily Scott was able to sneak up on them.
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru
Asshole, next time warn somebody next time you are there.
Scott then laughs a hearty laugh. Then walks over to Inuyasha then bends down and picks him up bridal style.
Scott
Come on dear everyone is waiting for you so let's go. And you Sesshomaru are forbidden to take my mate out on a brotherly bonding trip again on the night of the new moon again. Because you were cutting way too close.
And with that Scott walks through the castle gates then into the castle with Sesshomaru following closely behind. Five minutes later, the three of them arrived at the ballroom doors. Upon opening the doors seeing that it was completely dark.

Sesshomaru goes over to the table and removes the fish from the basket to put them with the buffet. Then Scott puts Inuyasha down so he could go up and hug everyone. Afterwards Scott comes over holding the birthday cake.
Scott
Make a wish sweetie.
Inuyasha
I don't need to wish for anything I got everything I need right here.
Scott
Blow out the candles anyway.
So, Inuyasha does blow out the candles and everyone cheers. Scott then puts the cake bake on the table. Then fills up a plate with a large portion of the buffet foods. After doing so Scott walks over to Inuyasha grabs his hand leading him to the balcony. They both sat down on the marble bench to. Scott then starts to feed Inuyasha and himself. A half hour later, the boys are called back inside for dessert and present opening.
Koga hands a small box to Inuyasha inside the box is a wolf fang and wolf claw neck choker and necklace made from the pack that they lost.
Shippou hands a slightly larger box to Inuyasha inside the box is a portrait drawing of Shippou and everyone else.
Rafael hands a medium box to Inuyasha inside the box is two matching leather jackets.
Melissa hands a medium box to Inuyasha inside the box were baby supplies and unisex baby clothes.
Chris hands a long thin box to Inuyasha inside the box is a bow and quiver.
Peter hands a long thin box to Inuyasha as well inside the box is a normal fishing rod and fly-fishing rod.
Victoria hands a large box to Inuyasha inside the box is Liams old clothes while growing up.
Allison hands a small box to Inuyasha inside the box is a book on the history of demons and half-demons.
Liam hands a tiny box to Inuyasha inside the box is a necklace and bracelet made out of shells and noodles.
Ginta hands a long thin box to Inuyasha inside the box is four throwing spears.
Hakkaku hands a long medium thick box to Inuyasha inside the box is a bunch of hand-crafted arrows.
Hojo hands a medium sized box to Inuyasha inside was a woven basket and a hand knitted blanket made out of wolf fur.
Scott hand a gigantic box to Inuyasha inside the box is a large wood carving of Inuyasha and Scott in their primal forms.
Inuyasha then thanked everyone for the gifts. Then everyone sat down and began to eat dessert. Thirty minutes later, Scott noticed that Inuyasha had fallen asleep, so he stands up and carefully and quietly picks up and carries Inuyasha to their room. But, not before thanking everyone for the party and the gifts. Scott then leaves heading towards to their room. Entering the room looking at the clock on the wall which read 7:30pm.
Then realizing two hours until night and the new moon. So, Scott quickly but carefully lays Inuyasha down on the bed. Then covers him up with the blankets then leaves to head back downstairs to the ballroom.
Sesshomaru
Scott, what are you doing back here? I figured that you would be in bed and asleep already.
Scott
I am about to but I thought I would help you all with the clean-up.
Sesshomaru just nods. Scott then goes over to start helping with the clean-up. An hour and a half later, with the ballroom cleaned up and back to normal everyone helps Scott to bring the gifts to the hallway outside the king's bedroom. Then Scott bids them all a goodnight and thanks again for the party. Everyone nods and bows then leaves. Scott then opens the doors so he can bring in the presents in. Which he does quietly so not to wake Inuyasha.
As Scott was finishing up bringing in the presents, he noticed that Inuyasha's hair has changed from silver to black which meant that the new moon has started. After bringing in the last present Scott quietly closes the door strips naked and climbs into the bed. Scott then cuddles closer to Inuyasha so to embrace him. Then Scott covers them both in the blankets and kisses Inuyasha on the forehead.
