Hello there~ I am back, though I never went away. Sorry for the delay, I had some other things going on and I had a small side project that took me a week worth of writing time. Anyway, let's go to the chapter!

So, Are We Good Now?

The short American girl shifted uneasily in her place at the large bed in the center of the white room. The fluffy red blanket under her did little to provide comfort as she felt the weight of all the stares directed towards her. Tsunotori had practiced sitting on her knees before coming to Japan but she never thought it would be used in a situation like the one she was right now. Let's go back a few hours, right after she got caught being very… intimate with Midoriya.

The short blondie returned to her dorms, making little to no noise as she came inside. It was in vain, though, as her friends were all waiting for her at the common room, wearing pajamas and holding pillows.

"Tsunotori, don't leave like that!" Kendo was the first to react, rushing to the short girl and hugging her. Tsunotori didn't know where to look at because of how worried the ginger head girl looked. Also, Kendo lifted her from the ground so it was the double of embarrassment. The best part was yet to come, though. As the other girls gathered around her, the blondie could feel her cheeks warming up already. Midoriya told her some… awesome things, and only now she was beginning to fully process the implications.

"Umm, sorry for skipping the movie night, girls…" She said in a shy manner.

"That's not important, Tsunotori. We thought something had happened to you" Kendo said, putting the short girl back on the floor.

"Yeah, Kendo came down and said you weren't in your room, and you even left your phone behind," Komori said, joining the class rep's side.

"I'm really sorry I caused trouble to you guys," Tsunotori said, making a small bow.

"In the end what matters is that you're safe and sound. Just don't scare us like that again" Shiozaki said, getting agreeing nods from the other girls.

"Well, I think she is more than safe and sound, right, Tsunotori?~" Tokage joined the chat, getting to the blondie's side and nudging her.

"Eh? What do you mean, Tokage-chan?"

"Oh, you know what I'm talking about. After a night with Izuku… Life. Gets. Better!~" Said the lizard girl, wrapping one arm around Tsunotori's shoulders. At that moment, the blondie did a really good impression of a tomato.

"A-ah, t-t-that's not- we didn't- I mean- we kinda did but- I-I just wanted to, erm… mmmm…" Failing to form full sentences, Tsunotori simply looked at the floor with great interest. How would they react to what just happened? The answer surprised the blondie.

"Hahahahaha, that's a good reaction right there, I'm not gonna lie. So? Since when did you have your eyes on Izuku?" Tokage casually asked, making the small girl even more flustered and confused.

"N-no, I didn't really, umm…" Instead of fumbling more with her words, Tsunotori slowly turned to Kendo, who held a smile in her face. Yet another surprise. "... Kendo-chan?"

"Yes?"

She hesitated a little, but then faced the orange-haired girl properly.

"Is it okay that… I mean, you really don't mind, erm…"

"Izuku and the harem thing? No, not at all" The answer came so easy and simple, Tsunotori wasn't fully prepared.

"B-but… with everyone?" It still baffled her how Midoriya managed to do such a feat. Kendo looked aside in a shy manner, rubbing her arm a little. She had a faint pink hue crossing her cheeks.

"Well… as long as I get to spend some time with him and… you know what, I don't really mind…"

Tsunotori stood still for a moment looking at Kendo, then slowly at her other friends. They all had similar expressions in their faces, even the cold queen Kodai. Then, the lizard girl piped up again, this time wrapping her arms around Kendo's waist and pressing their cheeks together in a mild seductive way.

"Fufufu, it may not seem but Kendo here is a naughty girl just as thirsty as me~ So don't think too much about it, Tsunotori. You kinda get used to it" She said simply and all the girls agreed shyly.

Back to the present, this morning Kendo woke everyone early and they headed to this room Tsunotori was right now. She supposed it was the "nest" Midoriya mentioned before, and boy, she wasn't mentally prepared for this. As soon as her eyes met with the brunette from 1-A, her mind instantly brought back that feeling of anxiety from last night. Uraraka seemed so nice during the joint training, maybe this was the reason the blondie felt so shocked. It was a clash of personalities.

"Uraraka, are we really doing this?" Kendo said to the brunette after greeting everyone.

"Yes, we are. This is getting too out of hand" Said the brunette, crossing arms and tapping her foot.

"Come on, it is Tsunotori we are talking about, and we know what he'll say"

"Humpf. I'm still mad that they did it behind my backs"

Kendo gave up on arguing with Uraraka. Once the brunette had something set in her mind, there was no turning back, it seemed. Well, she wasn't too worried either, mostly because Uraraka was actually a lot more forgiving than when she first interacted with the brunette… less sweet side.

The next persons to arrive at the room were the pink-haired girl from 1-H, Hatsume, and the emerald child himself. Tsunotori instantly lit up and her face blossomed in a delighted smile that didn't go unnoticed by the others present. Hatsume greeted everyone and as soon as Midoriya came in, he looked around and found Tsunotori staring at him. There was an awkward smile and a wave between them before he got pulled to the side by Ashido, who also shot a glare in the blondie's direction.

"~sigh~ Is this really necessary, girls?" Midoriya asked the small group next to him. Uraraka had an annoyed face and still tapped her foot on the floor.

"I don't know, is it necessary to do these things without telling me?" She complained.

"Come on, Ochako, you know it wasn't on purpose. Plus, when these things happen, I get kinda caught up in the moment… I'm the one to blame here, so can't we skip the-"

"Alright everyone, let's get done with this. In case you don't know, I still have work to do" Midoriya wanted to reason with the brunette but then Nemuri came in, followed by Yu. Now that everyone was here, they gathered on the large couch, or at least as much as it allowed.

So basically, Tsunotori was on her knees in the bed, facing a large group of ladies surrounding the green-haired boy. Was she going to pass by a trial or something? The tension in the air made her heart beat a little faster. Uraraka took a step forward and cleared her throat to speak.

"I'll be as brief and straightforward as possible, we all know why we are here," She said, looking at the short blondie who flinched at all these stares directed at her. "Tsunotori-san"

"H-hai!"

"You have been caught up in the act, having sex with Deku-kun" The brunette stated.

"Y-yes…" Tsunotori answered as if she was claiming herself guilty of the charge.

"You knew that he already had a girlfriend, right?" The brunette spoke like a prosecutor.

"Yeah… I thought he was dating Kendo-chan until…"

"Until what?"

"... Until he told me about the harem thing and… you know..." At that moment, Uraraka started to pace back and forth.

"So you were aware of our… special relationship with Deku-kun. And still, you went to his room last night"

"It wasn't like that, Ochako. We even had an argument before that. Tsunotori, she… she felt really heartbroken for some things I said…" Midoriya piped up to explain the situation.

"Is that so? In that case, why did you come to his room last night then, Tsunotori-san?" She questioned the short girl.

"Well, when Midoriya said that he had many girlfriends and that he had… that you were very intimate, I felt a little betrayed, you know? And then, that night, I…" Her cheeks got a red tinge and she tried to find the best words to use. Luckily, or maybe not, Tokage got her covered.

"You couldn't take him out of your head, right? And you also felt really, really horny~ I know how it is, it happened to me too" She said nonchalantly, making Tsunotori blush even more as she poked her fingers together, looking at the bedsheets with interest.

"Y-you could say that…"

"So when you came to Deku-kun's room, you had clear intentions, right?" Uraraka said, getting closer to the bed and staring right at her.

"As he said, we had an ugly argument, and I kind of exploded. I felt bad and wanted to sort things out. I… I wanted him to know exactly what I felt and… I wanted Midoriya to at least be my friend, s-so…"

"Hmm, last time I checked "friends" were not that intimate, don't you think?"

There we go again. Poor Tsunotori felt that sting of guilt piercing her chest. She did something wrong, didn't she? Still, what she felt yesterday when Midoriya said he loved her... That night would be forever engraved into her memory, there was no way she could deny how she felt. Looking up right into the brunette's eyes, Tsunotori spoke with a determined face.

"I really like Midoriya, no- I love him. I can't change that, even if you are his girlfriend and he has a lot more. T-that's why I… did what I did"

"Oh? Do you really mean it?" Uraraka said in a mild threatening voice. She leaned forward, slowly climbing on the bed and getting her face close to the blond girl.

"I-I… really, really mean it" Who would've thought that round face could look so intimidating?

"Prove it"

"E-eh? How?" The blondie asked with confusion.

"Your clothes. Take them off" Uraraka demanded simply.

"What?! Right now?"

"Yes, what are you waiting for?"

"O-Ochako, that's a little too much, isn't it?" Midoriya got up from the couch, preparing to get the brunette a couple of meters away from the blondie if necessary.

"She'll need to get used anyway if she wants to join us," Uraraka said, clearly annoyed by the very words she just said.

"Don't be like that, Ochako. Look, I'll make it up to you-"

"Waaah…" The brunette whined, ruffling her hair with both hands in a nervous manner. "Why does it keep happening…? And aren't you naked yet?" She said, turning to the small girl next to her.

"Y-you said that for real?" Said Tsunotori.

"Oh heavens, here we go with the trial by sex again…" Shiozaki said, remembering the time she had to do it while the girls watched. Sure, they didn't mind a single bit since they had to share Izuku anyway, but this was kind of different. Like, having a bunch of judges evaluating your "performance".

"Okay, that's enough of this silly game, Uraraka. This is not a cult yet and we don't have to make the poor girl go through any acceptance rite" Nemuri got up too, walking to the bed and pulling the brunette away from Tsunotori.

"Excuse me, yet?" Midoriya said but his words passed almost unnoticed. Instead, Nemuri discussed with the annoyed brunette.

"But Nemuri, how can I let that slide so easily?"

"Is there anything we can do? It is clear she loves Izuku and the same goes for him, right Honey?"

Midoriya agreed and Uraraka groaned, closing her eyes and crossing her arms.

"~sigh~ Why do I even care? It's always the same, and I can't say no to Deku-kun…" She mumbled.

"Then why make a fuzz about it?" Nemuri said.

"I'm jealous, okay?! I don't like the idea of having less and less time with him…" Nemuri was about to say something but a soft voice stopped her.

"Umm…" Both ladies turned to Tsunotori and what a surprise, she actually took off her clothes. The small girl covered her chest and the place between her legs for decency, even if just a tiny bit, and you could easily mistake her cheeks for apples. Still, she did her best to voice her thoughts properly. "I don't know exactly how this harem thing works for you but… I don't want to take Izuku from any of you. I know you all must love him a lot, even more than me, maybe. All I really want is to be close to him, even if just a little. I-I don't even need to have s-s-sex or anything! If we could just, I don't know, read some manga together, I would be glad…"

As she spoke, Tsunotori shied away, looking even smaller than she already was, but her words came out perfectly fine, and her message was clear. Looking up a bit, she flinched as all eyes were directed at her again, Midoriya included.

"Did… did I say something weird?" Tsunotori asked nervously.

There was a minute of silence, in which Uraraka went through a couple of expressions. She looked shocked at first, then incredulous. She closed her eyes and seemed to be in deep thought, pouting, and even grumbling a little. She scratched her head while moaning in irritation until her head perked up and she gave a slap in her own face.

"O-Ochako? Is everything alright?" Midoriya asked, worried and surprised. Uraraka then turned to the blondie, suddenly getting closer and holding her hands.

"Listen, Tsunotori-san, it is really hard for me to share Deku-kun. You see, I really love him, like, a lot. He's the most important thing to me, but…" She moaned more as the words were hard to say. "It is clear that you love him. Not as much as me, but I cannot deny that. S-so… I w-welcome you to our h-harem"

Would you look at that, Tsunotori actually managed to convince Uraraka by touching her heart. Not that the short blondie was aware of it, and Uraraka would never admit but Tsunotori looked so adorable right now.

"I agree with Uraraka, but I'm still mad that Izuku did it without telling us first…" Yaoyorozu said, holding a pout of her own.

"You would like to have him on a leash, wouldn't you?" Said Yanagi, prompting the raven-haired girl to look aside, trying to hide an awkward smile.

"W-well… would you not?"

"Yeah yeah, we are all fine as long as we can have a piece of him, but," Ashido said, getting the attention of the group. "I really hope you can keep up with all of us, Muscles. We ladies have needs, you see~"

And now it was time for Midoriya to feel anxious as he became the focus of attention. She wasn't wrong, you know? Each, ahem, fine addition to his collection meant one more girl to give attention and… please in many ways. Perhaps he was biting more than he could chew. Maybe it was too much for him. However, looking at all these girls with expectant eyes, including the naked small girl on the bed, Izuku couldn't see himself in any other situation.

"~sigh~ I regret nothing…" If being with all of them meant he would blackout almost every night, so be it.

The girls laughed lightly as things now seemed to be solved. Truth be told, it was a little more convenient for the girls from 1-B to have the short blondie on the team too.

"Welcome to our weird group, Pony-chan~," Komori said, sitting next to the girl.

"Thanks, I guess. Oh, so that's why you asked me if I would date someone who already had a girlfriend that day, right?"

"Yeah, I felt so happy to be with Izuku that I kinda wondered if you were interested in him…" The mushroom girl said with a dreamy face.

"I wish I could have seen your "debut", though. Shiozaki here put quite the show when she joined us~" Tokage said, grabbing the vine girl by the shoulders.

"Can we not discuss that…?" Shiozaki said, a pink hue coming to her face.

"Why? I would love to do it out in the open like you. Mmm~ just imagine the thrill of being caught~"

"N-no thanks, seeing the girls at the door last night was already enough of an emotional ride to me," Said the blondie.

"I get you, Uraraka also got me and Izuku in a complicated situation," Said Hatsume.

"What about Momo-chan, who got caught right before she could do it?" Hagakure said, recalling the memory with a certain fondness.

"Hey, I just remembered. Do you girls wanna see drunk Yu desperately riding Izuku?~" Nemuri said, holding a smug smile towards her blonde friend who looked mortified.

"You still have that, Nemuri?!"

"What? I told you I was gonna keep it"

"Delete that video right now!" And while Yu tried to take hold of Nemuri's phone, the other girls laughed lightly. And in the middle of the group stood Tsunotori. Looking around, everyone seemed to be having a good time, without necessarily being naked and all that.

Speaking of which, could she put her clothes back on already? Tsunotori turned to Uraraka to ask but to her surprise, the brunette was halfway through removing hers. Midoriya also noticed since Uraraka sat on his lap, shirt and shorts tossed on the floor and her bra open on the back.

"O-Ochako?"

"Me and you. Now"

It was still morning. Them not being at the dorms could raise questions.

"It has to be now?"

"Yes," She answered in a kinda distressed way, and then grabbed his shirt, locking Izuku in a deep kiss. And while the brunette lustfully assaulted the green-haired teen, Tsunotori watched with a mix of surprise and dumbfoundedness.

"Does… does this always happens?" She asked Komori, pointing at the two teens now fully naked.

"Sometimes. I admit some of us are, ahem, needier" The mushroom girl commented, and to Tsunotori's further surprise, Tokage just entered the line, clothes lacking and… tending to her aching bits.

"I'll say this once, just one round and we're out. It's too early in the morning and you might get the boys making questions" Nemuri stated, also tossing her shirt away in a single move.

After a heated morning and some needed showers, the ever-growing group of lovely ladies split into their respective classes, but not for long. Later on, after giving the impression of having never left the dorms, the girls gathered at the Development Studio, as requested by Hatsume. The pink-haired girl walked around carrying boxes and devices, an exciting look plastered in her face. Seeing that everyone was present, she got in front of the large workbench littered with technological paraphernalia, grinning and giggling with excitement.

"Well then! First of all, I want to thank you all for coming here, this might be the best batch I have made so far~" The girl with crosshair eyes told the small crowd, flailing her hands dramatically as she showed them the fruits of her labor. "My dear sisters, lemme show you the best the Support Department has to offer~," She said with a confident smile.

However, Hatsume's confidence was met with uneasy looks and awkward rubs in the arm.

"Umm, Hatsume, far from me to tell you how you do your thing, but…" Ashido started, trying to not sound rude. "Did you test these things?"

"Of course I tested them, Ashido, and extensively! Izuku wouldn't let me show them to you until I did that" The girls mentally thanked the emerald child, who was currently taking some time to himself. Hatsume was well known for her genius as much as she was for her spectacular failures when testing her devices.

"So, let's see, who's gonna be the first?~" She thought out loud, rubbing her hands in excitement. This was going to be awesome. "Ah, Shiozaki-san!"

"Y-yes?!" The vine girl suddenly responded.

"One step ahead, please"

Shiozaki did as asked and waited with slight anxiety while Hatsume got something from the workbench. Her eyebrows lifted in curiosity when the young inventor gave her a pair of gloves, rather bracelets that covered the back of her hands. They were colored in metallic green and almost reached her elbows.

"Well, go on and put them~" Hatsume urged Shiozaki, who did as told out of curiosity. She remembered Midoriya mentioned a support item but the vine girl never made a formal request. Hatsume diligently helped Shiozaki to put the bracelets on, adjusting them so they fit her arms almost perfectly.

"Sorry if it feels a little bit tight, I didn't have your measurements so I guessed," Hatsume said, then took a step back, placing hands on her waist. "Now, please flick your wrists"

Shiozaki did so and suddenly a pair of blades sprouted from the devices, starting the girl.

"H-Hatsume-san, what is the meaning of this?" She asked, both confused and intimidated by the rather offensive contraption.

"I got Midoriya's idea and worked based on it. These babies can cut your vines with ease, and don't worry, I installed a detection system that prevents you from harming yourself" The pink-haired girl said with a hint of pride in her voice. "Oh, try to wrap some vines around them"

"Wrap? Like… this?" Shiozaki coordinated some of her vines to tighten around the bracelets and then the second pair of blades sprouted from the other side, severing the vines. "What now?"

"See if you can build this?" Hatsume showed her a schematic with instructions for making a small vine ball. The vine girl took some time to understand but once she got the hang of it, she managed to make the thing. "Great! Now, if you shape the vines on your arms and make a move to throw…"

Following Hatsume's instructions, Shiozaki managed to toss a vine ball tightly wrapped around itself. The young inventor set a small target and when the ball landed, it snapped open, leaving a big dent on the cardboard.

"Yosh! Great success! Man, and here I was thinking it would break into tiny bits all over the place" She said nonchalantly, unaware of the shocked look Shiozaki held towards her.

"Didn't you say you test this?"

"I did, but not with your vines"

"That could have been a serious problem, Hatsume-san!"

"Relax, if it works then it's fine~," The pink-haired girl said while waving a hand. "Anyway, Midoriya designed a few constructs for you. I improved them and made some myself. Tell me later how to improve them" She said, handing Shiozaki a few sheets with drawings and instructions, putting a look of amazement in the vine-haired girl.

"Wow… many thanks, Hatsume-san. That was very considerate of you" Shiozaki said and the girls behind her agreed, also surprised by how well Hatsume's device worked.

"Don't mention it, it was a fun project. Now, who's next?~" The long-haired girl giggled happily. Her next "customer" was the frog girl.

"Ribbit, do you have something for me, Hatsume-chan? Preferably something without explosion hazard"

Despite the last comment, Hatsume didn't lose the big grin in her face, spinning on her feet and making an exaggerated display of a dark green cloth in her hands.

"A… cape?" Tsuyu asked, looking unsure at her friend. This, of course, triggered Hatsume's seller mode.

"You may be wondering, what is so special about this piece of fabric?" She looked at Tsuyu until the frog girl took the cue to answer with a nod. "Fufufu, please touch the fabric, don't hold back or anything~"

Still, with a suspicious face, Tsuyu did as Hatsume said and held the cloth in hands. It was soft to the touch and it seemed to stretch well. Also, it was kinda shiny and it absorbed some of the thin mucus layer covering her fingers.

"Ribbit, you want me to ask what does it have that is so special, don't you?" Hatsume widened her grin even more, eyes twinkling like stars.

"Notice the change as I press this button!" She said, turning a small dial attached to the fabric and pressing it. Tsuyu looked with a plain face at the giddy inventor, until she noticed something with her hand.

"It is… warming up?"

"Exactly!" Hatsume exclaimed as she invaded Tsuyu's personal space in an explosive manner. "Baby #247: Adjustable Thermal Amphibious Fabric! It is capable of regulating body temperature with an energy conversion efficiency of 80%. Works for cold and heat, and is waterproof too! This one is a special version I modified to adapt to your moist skin, though, Tsu-chan~" Hatsume said with great enthusiasm as the frog girl looked closer at the piece of fabric.

"Wow, this would be very useful in the cold…" She said a little lost in amazement.

"Yep, I remembered you complained about the winter season and hibernation, so I dug into one of my old projects and upgraded it. A full-body suit is still out of reach but I can place a few patches on your costume if you want"

"Yes, this will help me endure the Winter a lot better~," The frog girl said, now smiling and croaking happily.

Seeing that so far everything was safe, the girls started to feel more interested in Hatsume's inventions, and soon they started to crowd around the pink-haired girl, curious to see what else she came up with. And Hatsume enjoyed every single second of it. She didn't get this much attention undivided since she was at elementary school and the kids would gather to see her earliest prototypes. Her audience gradually died out as things started to get more prone to catastrophic failures, but that didn't matter. All she cared for was making her babies, and now there was Izuku and her friends too. If she could help them with her inventions, it was simply an absolute win to her.

"Ne, ne, Hatsume-chan? Why do you call your inventions "babies"?" Komodo asked, and her answer came along with a small visor.

"Here, try this wind mapping system. I bet this will help you to spread your spores more efficiently. And I work on my babies from project to end of production and sales, of course, I would see them as my children~" Hatsume said with pride in her voice and even lifting her nose a little. Let's leave the girl to have her moment, shall we?

"So you work on your projects all alone, Hatsume-san?" Said Kendo, who just got a pair of heavy-duty gloves with adjustable size. She wasn't sure if she was fond of the concept, though.

"Well, most of the time I prefer to work alone, you know? I don't want to diminish my classmates but everyone is so, umm… strict?" She said while looking inside another box for more babies.

"Or maybe they follow the safety guidelines?" Ashido said, prompting her fellow pink-haired friend to laugh nervously.

"Ah hahaha… it's funny that you know about that…"

"In her defense, Midori getting on her case to make the tests first is working. Nothing blasted in our faces yet" Jiro commented, looking at an interesting looking speaker on the corner.

"Come on, girls… it doesn't happen all the time. My babies are much safer than when I started" Hatsume said, pushing a box on the floor that had a big "work in progress" tag under the workbench.

"Ah, Deku-kun mentioned he was helping you these days," Uraraka said, fiddling with some kind of anchor device.

"Ah yeah, Izuku helps a lot. It's like having an encyclopedia of Quirks on the fly"

"Huh, so you and Midoriya are making lots of babies together… that's adorable~" Shiozaki said absentmindedly, and the girls agreed in the same manner. Only after a brief moment of silence the vine girl and the rest of them realized the other… "implications" for this phrase.

"I-I-I mean- your inventions, Hatsume-chan!" The vine head exclaimed, her face looking like a tomato.

"Y-yeah, we actually make a good couple- work partners!" Hatsume said, trying to hide her faint blush. Until now she had no problems in saying she was making babies with Midoriya. Oh well, maybe… on a future occasion?

"~sigh~ This talk is making me want to be an inventor, you know?" Tokage commented.

"Really?" Hatsume looked at her with a surprised face. Normally it was the other way around, some students from the Support Department wishing for the spotlights of the Hero Course.

"Yeah, I don't know how well I can do but I'm more than willing to try and make babies with Izuku~" The lizard girl held a smug grin while the other girls rolled their eyes.

"Do you have a power-off button for this horniness, Setsuna?" Said Kendo.

"Even if I had, why turn it off when Izuku exists?~"

"Let's go back to Hatsume's inventions before we all do something careless, shall we?" Yaoyorozu was the one to put the group out of that train of thought. It was still the middle of the day and they could only make a number of excuses before questions started to be asked.

Earlier Nemuri told the girls to go and hang out together, have some only-girl fun, but not only to make the newest integrant of their group feel more included. She also wanted to give Midoriya some well-deserved rest, even if it was still midday. So, following the woman's instructions to not make exercises of any shape or form, the green-haired teen resorted to something he had been doing more and more lately: inner talks with the voice in his head. Midoriya sat peacefully on the couch of the common room, staring into nothing as his mind wandered to the dark void.

"~sigh~ Isn't the best, Izuku? Having so many girls to choose who to fuck?"

"I don't know if I actually have a choice…" Said the boy, now sitting on the metaphorical couch with the former user of One for All next to him.

"It's a means of expression, but you have to admit this alone is pretty cool. Have you ever wondered before that you would be the center of a big harem, Izuku?"

"No, I never imagined. What do you take me for, Nana-san?" He said with a hint of offense that Nana knew didn't stem from his heart.

"Right now, I can only see you as an insane sexy beast in the body of a teen~" She teased Izuku, nudging him and managing to get a faint blush from him.

"Come on, Nana-san, is that really all there is to me now?" Midoriya questioned her and despite her mocking tone, she could sense a slight bit of doubt. Wrapping one arm around his waist, the former pro hero brought the green teen closer to her.

"Okay, okay, spill it out. What is troubling your golden heart, my child?" Her voice had a motherly tone to it. Experience taught Izuku that hiding his thoughts from Nana was not only useless but also a dumb thing to do since she helped a lot.

"I have been thinking, you know? About what my life has come to"

"Is that so? Are you trying to backtrack and see why you deserve attention and care again? We discussed that before"

"No no, that's not it. What I mean is… what am I gonna do now? I love each of my girlfriends but I'm not sure about the next step to make…"

"Marriage is still a cherished thing these days~"

"W-w-well, be-beside that" He stammered as the mere prospect of living his life with someone made him anxious. The feeling multiplied tenfold when he added the fact that he had so many ladies wanting to be the next Miss Midoriya. "I-I think this is a little ahead in the future"

"Hahaha, I can't have enough of this shy side if you~ Anyways, I understand that between where you are the big altar, there is a big step, right?"

"Yeah. What should I do until then? I have to live up to All Might's expectations and be the next Symbol of Peace, but aside from that…"

Izuku fell silent for a while and Nana took the opportunity to look at his face, absorbing each detail. He unconsciously replicated his external expressions into his void projection, scratch that, what Nana saw was the true face of his feelings. Being "awaken" for all this time in Izuku's mind gave the pro hero a good notion of how he behaved, what made him worry and feel happy. She could scour every nook and side of his memories to learn even more about Izuku but she decided not to, maybe because she still felt like herself, despite being only an imprint of the real Shimura Nana within One for All.

That said, Nana felt honestly fascinated by the young man, and she could see why Toshinori had chosen him. She gently stroked his green locks, getting his attention again. Nevermind the fact that Izuku could somehow space out inside his own mind.

"I see… living up to that sure is a herculean task, even more considering how you idolize Toshinori. However, it's the same thing I said to you when you were in doubt about Tsunotori. Just be yourself and you'll be fine" She gave him these encouraging words, hugging him closer. She wondered if the warm feeling Izuku felt right now came from her wisdom or her metaphorical softness. Probably both answers were right.

"What about my career as a hero? Do you think people would accept me having, you know… a harem?"

"Well, one of the things I learned about being a hero is that public opinion is very fluid. One day they love you, the other they are coming at you with torches and forks. But look at Endeavor, for example, he's not very popular but gets the job done, and is legit saving lives. People used to call Midnight out because of her costume but they can't deny she is a hero. In the end, it's a matter of whether you're making the world a better place or not"

"I see…"

"Sure, your position is a little more complex since you are aiming to be a beacon of hope or the sorts, but still, I have no doubt people will look up to you in the future. Just keep being true to your heart, Izuku" Nana said as she ruffled his hair, making Izuku a little embarrassed. He didn't expect her to cheer him up like that.

"Hey, if I'm stuck inside your head, the least I can do is see that you are happy and on the right track"

"Thanks, Nana-san. I feel more at ease already" Izuku sighed, sinking on the imaginary couch in a relaxed manner. Nana was right, he shouldn't feel afraid of the future. He had his goals and there was a long path ahead of him, so he had to take one step after the other.

Seeing that the green-haired teen was in a less introspective mood, Nana saw an opportunity to do something she had been wondering about for some time now. They both knew she was an imprint of the real Nana and that she was tightly linked to Izuku and his emotions, memories, and so on. Her question was: how far that connection went? Rather, how much could she, as a mental construct, affect the emerald child?

"Come here, my young hero, you deserve that rest more than you are aware of" She invited Izuku to lay down on the couch, gently pushing him, and he didn't resist at all. Their previous experiences taught Nana that a calm Izuku was a lot more prone to "suggestions" such as, say, him laying on her lap instead. Or maybe in a large bed, akin to the one at the Nest.

"Umm, Nana-san?"

"Yes?~"

"What are you…"

Right now Izuku had his back leaning against the pro hero while she loosely hugged him from behind. He could feel a familiar soft sensation pressing against him and her hands wandered aimlessly around his abs.

"Just relax and rest, silly. I have a hunch tonight will be a heated one~" Nana said in a provocative voice. She was probably right but at this moment Izuku wanted to know why they had to stay like this.

"What? You don't like me hugging you like this?~"

"No, that's not it. I just think that it's a little… too close?"

"Aw, no need to be shy, Izuku. I want us to be very, very… intimate, you know?~" She purred while speaking on his ears, making him even more flustered.

"I-I trust you already, Nana-san. So, maybe you could let me go now…?"

What was up with this sensation? Izuku was inside his own mind, yet he felt as anxious as he would in real life. No, it was a little beyond because he could actually sense the woman getting more and more excited about this.

"Do you really trust me, Izuku?" Nana said, bringing him closer to her and making sure Izuku was aware of her top shape.

"Y-yeah, you're All Might's teacher, after all" He answered nervously. For real, why was he so anxious about being this close to Nana? Could it be that she was actually influencing him? Before he could say anything else, Nana got really close to his ears, whispering softly.

"Then… will you let me take care of your body too?~" Her voice, seductive and dripping with desire, sent a shiver up his spine, both mentally and physically.

Her hands moved under his shirt, gliding over his skin that felt a lot hotter now. She nested her chin at the crane of his neck, letting her breath brush against his cheeks. Nana took in the scent of him, or at least what she imagined it to be. Most people are unaware of these details as they are part of them. However, she mused it would be something sweet and strong too, just like the boy himself.

"N-Nana-san, we shouldn't be… doing this…" Izuku fought the urge to let all restrictions fall. The woman was surprisingly skilled with her touch, or at least she was tuned enough with him to know exactly what turned him on.

"And why not? It's not like anyone will ever catch us~"

"Yes, but… you are, well…"

"Hmm? Speak clearly, Izuku. I can't understand if you don't tell me what is troubling you~" She teased him further, nibbling his ears and softly pinching his nipples.

"You are… you are All Might's sensei, I can't possibly think of-"

"Shhhh~" She pressed one finger on his lips. Suddenly, Izuku found himself under Nana, with her straddling his waist. The raven-haired woman leaned forward, leaving an inch or two between their faces.

"It is so sweet of you, wanting to protect my image in respect for me and Toshi," Nana said with a genuine smile, but then her soft expression gave way to one he was very familiar with, uncontained lust.

"And you… kind of reminds me of my Mom…" He confessed.

"Why yes, you can call me mommy too~" Eyes half-closed and licking her lips seductively, the formed pro hero closed the gap between them, but went for his neck, surprising Izuku as she sucked there.

Izuku struggled to keep himself together. In the void, a thought materialized effortlessly, and he was trying his best to not lewd the literal image of the mentor of his mentor.

"But you have to remember two things, sweetheart. One, I'm not exactly the real Shimura Nana. And two, even if I was, it's just as Mina said," She whispered softly on his ears again while feeling his tights. "We girls have needs too~"

Nana laughed softly when she saw Izuku with his face red as a tomato, maybe even more than usual because this was his void projection, but then something caught the attention of them both. An alien feeling, an external source of heat that didn't come from Izuku's wild imagination. Without noticing, Izuku had fallen asleep, which probably made it easier for Nana to "interact" with him, but he could still sense some things around him.

"Ah shoot. Maybe next time~"

. . .

The green-haired teen woke from his small nap but didn't open his eyes yet. This sensation was definitely the weight of someone resting on top of him, and this person was hugging him loosely too. Acting on instinct, Midoriya moved one arm to embrace this unexpected visitor, trying to guess which one of his girls was it. Whoever it was, they had to get up because Midoriya dozed off at the couch. If someone saw them like this…

Let's see, judging by the slender shape, it could be Kyoka, Mina, Tooru, maybe Setsuna. But why would she be here right now? Plus, there was another detail the emerald child was very knowledgeable of, regarding the chest area. That size and softness… where did he feel that again?

"Something is off here…" He thought, slowly opening his eyes. The person on top of him stirred a little, probably in response to his arm around her waist.

"~yawn~ Ah, you are awake"

It took Midoriya a minute to react. Once he looked down, he met with a pair of yellow cat-like eyes staring back at his face. Blond hair tied into two messy buns, shiny ivory fangs showing through a small grin, and a permanent red hue across her cheeks. He was way more familiar with that face than he would like to.

"Hi-Himiko?!" He would have backflipped from his position if the girl wasn't blocking the way, but Midoriya jolted up, pushing the blonde away a little.

"It's me!~ Did you enjoy your little nap, Izuku?" She asked normally, moving to sit on his lap. Meanwhile, the boy tried to recover from the small heart attack.

"What the hell are you doing? When did you get here?"

"Hmm?" She tilted her head like a cat, placing one finger on her cheek, then replied with a smile. "Well, I was just passing and saw you laying on the couch. You looked so peaceful and there was no one around, so I thought: I'll sleep with him!~"

Midoriya looked incredulously at the happy blonde.

"Don't EVER do that again, and get the hell off me!" He said, pushing Himiko away and getting off the couch.

"Aw, why not? I'm behaving so well lately" She whined, quickly following Midoriya as he headed to the kitchen.

"Because I said so, and stop following me"

"Don't be so harsh with me, Izuku, I can't tease you without getting closer"

"Now we're on the same page," He said, opening the fridge door and almost hitting the blondie while doing so. Seeing that he was planning to give her the cold shoulder again, Himiko changed her approach a little.

Sitting at the table, she simply watched Midoriya drink whatever he got from the fridge in silence. The boy didn't mind at first but her constant stare was as unsettling as having her close to him.

"~sigh~ What do you want now?" He asked, clearly annoyed.

"I already told you, Izuku" Himiko leaned forward, placing a hand next to her mouth to conceal her voice. "Put me in your harem"

"Hell no. And in the remotest of chances that you actually got in, the girls would murder you" He said in a whisper.

"Aw, so you do care about me~"

"What? No, I don't"

"So your little army of lovers ending my life wouldn't make you sad?"

"Not a single bit. Except, maybe, for the fact that this could put their reputations at risk" Midoriya answered coldly, to which Himiko put a hand in her forehead in a dramatic manner.

"Ow, that really hurt my feelings. The person I love couldn't care less about my well-being"

"If you know that, why do you keep trying?" He asked the blondie, but in fact, the question came out of nowhere. The words just came out, perhaps because the mere presence of Himiko was enough to drain Midoriya of his energies.

The girl locked eyes with him for a moment, then rested her chin in one hand, holding a sly grin.

"Because I just know that isn't true, Izuku. I'll make you understand that, and maybe one day I'll hear those three sweet words from you~" The way she spoke and looked at him right now gave Midoriya so many mixed signals, which was the norm with Himiko, honestly.

She looked like a normal girl with a dreamy face, yet his experience and his instincts were triggering alarms inside his head. She was up to something, Himiko always was. He couldn't trust her, but so far she did as she has been told. She didn't show any signs of changing her less than pleasant personality, but she also stopped with the murderous intent. Mostly. This walking contradiction stood there, watching him with cute dreamy eyes that Midoriya was sure hid malicious intentions.

"You clearly have problems in the head…" He added dryly while leaving the kitchen. Himiko laughed softly as she followed him with her eyes.

"You are probably right, I got lots of problems… but loving you ain't one~"

Midoriya would have frozen in place if he didn't know better, this reaction would surely invite the blond annoyance to keep with her games. Although, by this point, Midoriya thought that nothing would make her stop.

Later on, the students from 1-A got a small visit from Aizawa, accompanied by none other than the Big Three, and another special guest.

"U.A is now officially responsible for taking care of her," Said the scruffy man with a plain face, gesturing to Eri, who was sitting on the couch. Meanwhile, Midoriya looks shocked by the decision.

"R-really?! What happened with staying close to her while we could?!" After the fight with the Eight Precepts and Overhaul's defeat, Eri's future was uncertain since her single remaining relative is on a hospital bed for an undetermined time.

"She can't stay at the hospital forever, and there are some very complicated details involving her power" The teacher explained calmly as more students gathered to greet the young girl. "I thought you, of all people, would be the happiest to hear that"

"A-ah, no, I'm really happy, it just happens a little out of nowhere," With everything that happens in his life, Midoriya kinda lost track of time. They were at the end of the year already.

"Uah~ that's great, Eri-chan~"

"Ribbit, you remind me of my younger sister. Welcome, Eri-chan"

Uraraka and Tsuyu quickly got near to the silver-haired girl.

"I'm really happy to be here with you all," Said the girl in a shy manner.

Talking to Midoriya, Tsuyu, Uraraka, and Kirishima in particular, Aizawa explained the reasons why would Eri be at U.A from now on. Apart from her parents being missing, the little horn on her head restarted to grow, which meant her Quirk would increase in power. And with that in mind, Aizawa would keep an eye on her, help Eri learn to control her power and prevent any accidents from happening, if possible. And Mirio would be helping with taking care of her, given his current situation.

The first-year students felt really happy hearing this news. Aizawa had to go somewhere and would be leaving Eri with the Big Three, but before he went off, he told the class they were going to have another visit later on, so the place better be in order.

As Midoriya headed back inside, someone caught his attention. Sitting next to Eri was Hado-senpai, but as soon as he crossed the door her eyes glued on him. He awkwardly waved hello and she returned, never averting her gaze. Needless to say, Midoriya felt a little anxious with her fixed gaze because of the whole "date" thing. Despite his words, the green teen didn't actually give it much thought. Would it be okay if he simply went out with her and had some fun? It didn't have to end in… lewd stuff, right?

Later on, their guest finally arrived. Making a team pose and saying their introduction lines, the Wild Wild Pussycats (in civilian clothes!). Everyone greeted the team of pro heroes, glad to see them after so long.

"Kota-kun! Long time no see!" Midoriya rushed to greet the young boy with a red hat, who responded to his energy in an awkward way. "Thank you for the letter, I stored it with care!"

"Whatever…" He said, looking away from the green teen. Much to Kota's embarrassment, Mandalay mentioned how he picked his new shoes and they had to be red, just like the pair Midoriya used.

With some cupcakes they brought and tea made by Yaoyorozu, the pro heroes explained why they were here at U.A. One reason was Ragdoll's reintegration as a secretary since she still didn't recover her Quirk. And the other reason, the National Hero Ranking! Due to All Might's abrupt retirement and big events like Hosu, the ranking publication was delayed for the end of the semester instead of the beginning.

They all gathered on the couches to watch the transmission on TV. A ranking without All Might would be something odd but interesting to see. But perhaps the person with the greatest interest right now was the half-cold-half-hot boy, currently starting at the widescreen with a plain face but expectant eyes.

The crowds outside made loud noises as they watched the transmission on the enormous screens. Inside the stadium, more sounds of chatter and excitement as the public waited for the postponed event to start. Reporters of various news outlets covered it and tried to get the best views from the large stage. Until then the heroes didn't have this kind of formality as the list was simply published on the official fonts, however, the moment asked for a change. And so the top ten heroes got on the stage, being announced by last to first.

In tenth place, losing one position since last time, the Dragon hero, Ryukyu!

The lady waved with a slightly nervous face at the crowds as they clapped hands and cheered.

Ninth place! Also falling from the position, the Armored hero, Yoroimusha!

The old hero grumbled something about the system being faulty since he not being a top 3 was clearly a calculus error.

Number eight! From the washing powder commercial, the Washing hero, Wash!"

The living washing machine jittered excitedly.

Number 7! A huge jump! The rising star that won't stop going up, Kamui Woods!"

The man with a wood mask humbly thanked for the praise.

The orthodox man keeps his position! Number 6! The Shield Hero, Crust!

The honorable man silently wept for the retirement of the Symbol of Hope.

Number 5! The obstinate rabbit goes up in the ranking! The rabbit hero, Miruko!

"Ha! Teaming up is for weaklings!" She boasted with a confident grin.

Number 4! His conflict resolution count and approval index are on the stratosphere! Ninja hero, Edge Shot!

The mysterious hero stood with a typical ninja pose.

And the next man. Despite being on a pause, he still remained at the top 3! His approval indexes are the highest of this semester! The Fiber hero, Best Jeanist! We're waiting for your fast recovery!

The crowds roared for the absent hero.

He says he takes it easy but is ferocious! In an incredible rhythm, he takes the second place! The Winged hero, Hawks!

"Tsk, they overdid a bit, didn't they…"

The lights went off and the noisy crowd subdued. A spotlight flashed at the edge of the stage, waiting for the last hero of the top ten.

And now! Coming from a temporary position… he officially assumes the number one hero! Finally!

A tower of a man stepped into the stage, looking forward with a determined face covered in bright flames.

The flame hero! Endeavor!

The new number one hero, clad in a brand new costume, took his place along with other components of the top 10. As always, Endeavor showed a rather stoic face, if not a little menacing. If this was due to a serious case of pissed-off rest face or the flaming beard was open to discussion. Regardless, the minister of the Heroes Organization took the microphone, speaking to the masses.

In times like this, this event had a purpose and a meaning. It was the turn on a new leaf for society and heroes alike. With All Might's retirement, a lot of people feared a future lacking the Symbol of Peace, but these heroes we're the best of the best in Japan. They now had the task of leading this nation to a better future, a task once placed on the shoulders of a single man. And in the front of it all was Endeavor.

The other heroes commented on how they viewed the situation. It was an unspoken fact to everyone that none of them could hope to achieve what All Might had done, and none of them dared to try, it was beyond their reach. Well, none of them except for a persistent Flame hero. In these trying times, Hawks' lack of tact and inability to read the mood caused his words to sound like bragging, but he did make a point.

Judging only by the Approval indexes, Jeanist would be the number one hero in the ranking, he would be number two, Edge Shot the third, Endeavor, the fourth, and so on. But was that really the most important thing right now? More than a simple beacon of hope or someone that falls in the graces of the public opinion, the heroes now had to deliver real results.

And amidst all these controversial commentaries, Endeavor stood silent. He never was very fond of dealing with the press, neither he was prone to making big speeches. No, he knew what had to be done, and he would see that his job is complete with efficiency.

"There's nothing much to say, really…" The flaming hero started, feeling his resolve even more as he looked forward, not only to the crowds but to the path ahead of him. "Just watch me" Heroes and civilians alike, everyone felt silent for a minute as Endeavor's sheer determination was enough to make them recoil a bit. It was definitely different from the inspiring vibe All Might had, but they could tell the new number one wasn't fooling around.

"Endeavor looks… pretty cool, right?" Kaminari said to Sero and Rikido, who agreed in silence.

"Yeah, but he's a bit scary sometimes if you ask me" Shoji commented.

Meanwhile, Midoriya looked from the corners of his eyes at the half-cold-half-hot teen. Todoroki seemed neither bored nor interested in his father actually becoming the number one hero. The reason for such apathy made the green-haired teen wonder what was going through his head. Perhaps Todoroki didn't know how to react, considering the complicated situation between him and his father. Feeling the call for rescue, Midoriya got up and planned to talk to him. What exactly he didn't know yet, but the emerald child learned that sometimes all you have to do is talk and talk until you feel better. And luckily, Midoriya was a very good listener.

However, something prevented him from doing so. Loud noises of something crashing and panicked shouting coming from the television. The students were already dispersing as now the exciting part was over, but they all quickly turned to the screen again with shocked faces.

Since they had so many heroes here, the press took the opportunity to try and get as many scoops as they could, for example, about Mt. Lady and her team-up with Kamui Woods. She had to say yet again that there wasn't anything extra professional between them, but the gossip simply wouldn't die out, rather, people would keep them active and relevant. If only they knew…

Suddenly, a loud noise of steel being bent and broken. The ceiling of the arena they were caved in from the outside, and something hit the floor hard, leaving a bit crater. Debris scattered around and if it wasn't for the light-speed reflexes of Hawks, a lot of people would get hurt, or worse.

They barely had time to ask themselves what just happened and what was that, because the answer was getting up right now, pushing heavy metal bars and pieces of concrete from itself. A jet black leathery skin covered its lanky figure. The long neck was covered by some weird looking fabric, or at least they hoped it was, which also covered some of the creature's face, like some kind of hood. The heinous being slowly looked around, it's warping muscles a sore sight to witness. Shiny eyes, devoid of any traces of humanity, locked on the stage with the top 10 heroes.

"Who is… the strongest?"

Its voice was deep and ragged, like a cacophony of many broken voices overlapped in the worst way possible and pitched three octaves down. On the other side, the heroes looked at the thing with a couple of reactions. Surprise, horror, confusion... understanding.

"Hawks! Kamui! Take care of the civilians! Ryukyu, see if there is anyone under the debris! The others help to evacuate the crowd outside!" Endeavor commanded out of practice. His agency was known for fast response to any calls and that was due to coordination practiced time and time again.

The heroes did as told, while Endeavor flared up and stepped forward. So rumors were true, there were more Noumus out there, and the League of Villains was probably the one to blame. But for them to send this one creature here, against all these pro heroes… what were they thinking?

"Oi… who is… is the strongest… here?"

A talking Noumu was a new thing, but regardless of the broken speech, this thing would be dispatched as quickly and efficiently as possible. Mindless soldiers were beneath Endeavor but he would not be picky on the job.

"... anyway, this is what I have to do now" Endeavor said to himself as he approached the black creature. It slowly followed him with its shiny eyes. "Kakushaku Nekken…"

"Are you… str-"

"JET BURN!"

Whatever the Noumu had to say was cut out by Endeavor's powerful attack, a jet of concentrated flames coming from his fist. The fire stream easily tore through the Noumu, knocking it back on the crater it crash-landed. The Hosu incident taught the pro hero that these monsters, albeit mindless soldiers, were pretty sturdy and could take some damage. If this one was like the black Noumu All Might fought, regeneration Quirks were a possibility, so Endeavor planned on dealing with this in a quick manner.

"Oi, Endeavor! Don't go hogging all the fight for yourself, and don't boss me around either!" Miruko shouted from the stage.

"This is not a competition! And look," The Flame hero stood on a ready state despite shooting down the creature with one hit. "that thing… is still moving"

The black noumu pushed some debris away, getting up in a twisted manner. There was a weak cackling as its bones returned to their places, not that they belonged there anyway.

"Did you really think… you could… could… could… KILL ME?" The noumu roared as the large burnt area of his chest reconstructed itself, muscle fibers overlapping in an unnatural way.

Regeneration. The other black noumus that appeared possessed a similar power. Aside from the white noumus, not a single one has been seen with the same Individuality. Could the black ones be a different kind?

"If we assume that, this ugly bastard is a special case. He speaks… in that case…"

"Are you strong?" The hooded noumu advanced towards Endeavor.

"Let's keep him alive to get information" Endeavor set a goal. Extending his palm forward, bright flames came from his fingers as if they were strings. "Kakushaku Nekken- Hell Spider!"

The fire strings pierced the noumu for sure, but it kept advancing. Getting close to Endeavor, the Hooded Noumu used one warping arm to push him back into the stage, its arm stretching as Endeavor got buried under debris. To counterattack, Endeavor set the warped hand pushing him ablaze with a powerful flame, but the noumu simply used the carbonized side to wrap him again and drag the Flame hero in a semicircle destroying anything in the path and finally tossing Endeavor on the bleachers.

"Oi oi, the number one, really?" Hawks looked with mild shock as the apparently most capable in the room got tossed around so easily.

"Hey! You ugly pile of tar! You want someone strong?! Then I'm coming for you!" Miruko roared, eyes focused on the black creature that barely reacted to her challenge. She clicked her tongue as she apparently got ignored. "Is that so? In that case…"

Flexing her powerful legs in a crouched position, Miruko took impulse and dashed forward like a bullet, flipping in mid-air to deliver a flying kick… that she missed on the last second. The Noumu bent its column back in an unnatural way, practically folding in half.

"Oi is that serious?!" She said, landing on the other side of the large stadium.

"Is there… anyone strong… here?" The Hooded Noumu growled in a deep voice, scanning the surroundings.

"You freak, I'll show you strong!"

The rabbit hero went for another dash, this time waiting until she was a couple of inches away from him to kick the floor and spin around in a roundhouse kick that connected to the side of the creature. It bent in as she added torque to the kick and her sensitive ears captured a sick sound of fluids being spilled and bones cracking.

"Hah! Too easy"

However, the Noumu merely moved a meter or two. And what was worse, in the few seconds it directed it's attention to Miruko, the black creature swung his arm in an arc, hitting the rabbit hero even before she could land, sending her flying into the air. If she reacted a second later, she would have been hit completely unprepared, but Miruko managed to pull her legs close to her body in order to cushion the impact.

Suddenly, the Hooded Noumu got hit by a sharp object, throwing it off balance for a moment. Flying swiftly around, Hawks sent his feathers like lances to pierce the heinous being in the neck.

"Everyone got evacuated! Endeavor!" His first task was done. And as if attending to a call, the Flame hero appeared again, getting behind the Noumu and creating a mesh of fire strings to cut it to pieces.

"That thing better survive this"

The mesh of flames expanded forward, cutting through the noumu, part of the stage, the bleachers, and all the way to the outer wall of the stadium, leaving a large hole with its edges melting from the heat. Outside the stadium, some of the heroes helping to evacuate the crowds looked in amazement and shock. That was Endeavor for you.

"Hey, Endeavor, do you have stage fright or something? The thing is still in ten pieces" Hawks pointed out as the black Noumu jerked itself up with the jet-like thrusters on it's back. The head hung from the long neck, burnt away, and holding on by a thin thread of tissue.

"Interesting…" The thing said with an awfully wide upside-down grin.

"Aah, out of the way! I'm not done with that bastard!" Miruko ran past Hawks and Endeavor, aiming to punt the hanging head into the sky before it had time to regenerate. However, the moment the Noumu noticed her approaching, white tumor-like growths rapidly sprouted from its body.

The rabbit hero didn't have time to halt her inertia and so, she got splashed with the attack almost at point-blank.

"Get out… of MY WAY!" The thing inflated like a flesh balloon and exploded, sending slime all over the place. But the bad news was the new enemies, white noumus, we're now running around and wreaking havoc.

While Miruko shouted in frustration, being covered in goo, Endeavor analyzed the situation. Advanced regeneration; flight capability due to its jets; a mutant arm for long-range combat and flight stability; augmented muscle fibers and strength to break steel beams and concrete like it was cardboard. And now cellular division? Or was it some type of storage inside the body? And judging by the broken speech…

"That Noumu has a conscience" The Flame hero concluded.

And even worse, it created a distraction by spawning more noumus. Hawks took as his job to take the white ones that passed through the large hole and we're now terrorizing the streets. He knew this enemy was beyond his capabilities.

"You will… not attack… me anymore? Or you… c-can't attack any-more…?" The thing said, now fully regenerated and slowly ascending.

"In… in that… c-case, I'll…"

Endeavor held a serious face.

"It has good intuition too. My Kakushaku Nekken focuses flames at incredibly high temperatures and releases them on the strikes. However, it makes my body overheat and lose functions. Using my flames without care would make me overheat quickly, and aside from losing in power and speed, I don't know how many more Individualities this monster has. There is no room for hesitation"

The Flame hero was clearly at a disadvantage here. Outclassed in mobility and raw power, there wasn't much he could to counteract the Hooded Noumu.

"My strength… I wanna… T-TEST IT ON YOU ALL!"

Roaring again, the Hooded Noumu dived at Endeavor, going after him as the hero used his flames as jet engines. He couldn't fly like Hawks or the Noumu but it was a much-needed increase in speed. It had the downside of making him heat up faster, though. But he didn't have to worry about it, all Endeavor had to do was burn this creature to ashes, and then some. Increasing his flames, Endeavor focused on keeping the output constant, completely ignoring the pain as the black Noumu dragged him through the rows of seats. The black leathery skin and freakish muscles burned away but more grew under it at a fast pace. The hero's vision blurred a little as his internal heat reached dangerous levels, but he kept cremating the damn creature alive.

Perhaps due to its focus solely on Endeavor, the Hooded Noumu didn't notice another person incoming. Miruko was on the offensive again, more pissed than ever.

"Heads up, you crooked piece of shit!" The moment the Noumu turned its head around, Miruko connected a strong blow to its face. The sound of something cracking confirmed the effectiveness of the blow, even if for a short time. It was enough for Endeavor to pry himself from the powerful grasp. Seriously, if the woman wasn't so loud when fighting, he wouldn't have noticed her attack and she would end with some serious burns.

"Miruko, stay back! This one isn't like the other Noumus we've encountered so far!" Despite being a little dizzy, his words came out clearly.

"Tch! You take a seat back there and rest, old man. This bastard owns me a new costume!"

Before he could protest further, Miruko literally jumped into action, leaving Endeavor behind on the bleachers. If he didn't know better, he would think she was trying to buy him some time to cool down.

Meanwhile, the rabbit hero hopped around as if her feet were springs, using every little opening to attack the black creature. The Hooded Noumu was fast to react and its elastic arms gave Miruko a run for her money, but that was the best part of being a hero to her. If it was too easy, there wasn't much fun at all. She would identify with his pursue of fighting the strongest if it wasn't a mindless drone soldier pumped with who knows how many Quirks.

"You wanted the strongest around, right? Then I hope you don't regret it!" Miruko crouched and kicked the floor hard, leaving a crater behind. "LUNA ARC!"

With the added momentum, she swung her leg up, hitting the Hooded Noumu square in the chest and driving up to the chin, resulting in the creature being launched upwards with its ribcage caved in and the jaw completely out of place. The kick was so powerful that it crossed the stadium's ceiling, opening another hole on it.

"I'm not done yet!" Shouted the white-haired woman as she jumped on the bleachers and climbed all the way up to the top.

As for Endeavor, he was still feeling the overheat but his vision was clear now. In fact, the first thing he saw was a young blondie getting to him.

"Endeavor! What the hell is happening? Kamui said something about a Noumu- wow!" Mt. Lady didn't expect to see the number one in such a state, tossed on a pile of broken seats. "Where is the thing? Rather, are you okay?"

Getting up, Endeavor glared up through the hole in the ceiling.

"Humpf, I'm perfectly fine. The black Noumu is different from the ones you found at that warehouse. It is much stronger"

"I can see that just by looking at you and this place…" The young hero flinched a little when his burning gaze fell upon her. "I mean- it seems we're on a disadvantage here. These things have a lot of Quirks packed into them, right?"

"Yes. This one is particularly hard to deal with because he is out of reach…" Endeavor felt silent for a moment, then he glared at Mt. Lady again, making the blonde a little anxious. "You"

"H-hai?"

"You Individuality is Gigantification, right?"

"Yeah, but I can only grow to 20 meters. That thing could still be out of my reach-"

"No problem. Toss me"

"... Excuse me?" Did she hear that right?

Endeavor pointed up with a determined look in his face.

"Get me up there"

"Oi oi oi, I know you're the number one now but are you not pushing this too far? I can't guarantee I'll catch you when you fall" She said with a concerned voice.

"Leave it to me to solve it later. Now-"

"... aaaaAAAAAAH!" Suddenly, Miruko came crashing through the ceiling, making this the third hole in it. She managed to flip in the air and reduce the impact with her legs, but the dark-skinned hero still hit the floor with great force, rolling like a ball and halting when her back hit a wall. "... You… stupid…"

Looking at this, Endeavor and Mt. Lady exchanged glances. She, still a little unsure, and he, determined as always.

The Hooded Noumu hovered high in the air, looking down at the stadium where it tossed the woman with long ears. It scanned the area.

"... Weak… Is there… there… anyone strong here…?"

A shining object caught its attention.

Inside the stadium, Mt. Lady got into her giant form and held the Flame hero in her hands. She tried her best to take aim and pulled her arm back.

"... Are you sure about that?"

"Just do it already" And with his answer, more like a command, the blondie launched Endeavor through one of the holes like she was tossing a baseball. Quickly reaching the height of the jet black creature, he prepared to deliver a powerful blow.

"Jet Burn!"

Endeavor was launched right at the Noumu, so the flaming fist hit it square in the face, burning away some of the head and the exposed brain. While the Noumu flew back with the force of the punch, Endeavor used his flames as jet engines again. He could only slow down his fall but that would do for now. Still hovering, the Noumu stared at him with a twisted grin while its head regenerated in a gross way.

"You… you… you look… strong!" The thing dashed forward. "S-show me… if you are! Strong!"

It came straight for Endeavor and the hero let it get really close. Once at arm's length, Endeavor grabbed the black creature and flared up in a bright inferno that was visible from miles away. The evacuating people and the press covering the sudden battle all looked in awe as the night sky was lit up.

"Just burn and vanish… PROMINENCE BURN!"

Endeavor produced a fire stream with all his body, the huge flame jet completely engulfing the Hooded Noumu. It was hard to look straight at it and you could almost feel the heat from the streets.

The flames subdued and Endeavor stood hovering in the air. No signs of the monster still existing-

"What a shame…"

"Could it be?!"

He turned to the side and saw a severed head quickly regenerating.

"Did it cut its head off at the last second-"

The Hooded Noumu grew a stub of an arm and stretched it like a lance, piercing Endeavor. The flame hero barely had time to react, moving away only enough to avoid a fatal blow. His face, however, suffered a nasty rough cut, from the mouth all the way up to the eye on the left side. Having his side also pierced, Endeavor plummeted, crashing on the street and even forming a crater.

"I'm… bored. Isn't there… a stronger… h-hero...?"

Everyone that watched, be it in the area or through the screen, looked shocked and terrified, especially the Todoroki family, who had been following this unexpected sequence of events. At 1-A dorms, the students had their eyes glued on the screen, especially the half-cold-half-hot teen. Midoriya looked between his friend and the television with a concerned look.

On the battlefield, news helicopters watched the scene unfolding. The reporters commented with shock and apprehension as it was like a replay of the incident in Hosu. The Hooded Noumu destroyed the city without restrictions and more of the white ones ran rampant around, keeping the other heroes busy. Fear installed. Was this the result of a world where All Might wasn't there to save the day?

One man thought not.

Blasting from the crater, using jet streams from his back to move his body, Endeavor went after the Noumu, throwing another flaming fist at it.

"Too slow…" The creature easily dodged, grabbed Endeavor, and swung its stretching arm into a wide arc, dragging the hero around and burying him into another pile of debris as the buildings crumbled.

People panicked around. They did not know where to look at since the Symbol of Peace was no more. At U.A, Aizawa just entered the room, searching for the youngest son of the Todoroki family. The young man looked both distraught and incredulous.

"You've got to be kidding…"

Was that it? This was the end of the age of heroes? Would society descend into the chaos that it was before All Might came?

Stop saying what is convenient for you!

A voice shouted, catching the attention of a camera. A teen, not older than Todoroki, looked at the reporters covering the fight from a distance.

"Look! The flames… are still burning bright! He didn't give up yet!" The boy shouted and pointed at the direction of the fight. "HE'S KEEPING THE SYMBOL OF PEACE ALIVE! HE'S GIVING HIS BEST TO PROTECT US! LOOK!"

The Hooded Noumu flew towards the crowds in the distance, its menacing shadow getting dangerously close and fast. Then, a huge ball of flames flew after it. Endeavor was using the max output to reach the damn thing.

"You have… regeneration too…?" The Noumu said as it looked back.

"Don't compare my body to the abomination you are. My body can barely move"

Endeavor propelled himself forward to the fight once again.

"Use the flames to move the limbs that won't respond…"

The black creature stretched its arms to pierce the hero.

"Thanks. The pain helps to keep me conscious"

"Like I would be defeated like this… even with this eye… I'LL WIN THIS SOMEHOW!" He roared as he pushed forward.

"Increase the heat of the flame! More! EVEN FURTHER!"

That cursed thing, its regeneration power was beyond anything Endeavor had seen so far. Having half of the brain carbonized should disable all of its functions. The capture was no longer an option.

"This dude's speed, power, regeneration, reaction time… burn them and overcome them… until only ashes remain!"

Suddenly, a known face appeared behind the Noumu, slashing it with feathers that worked as sharp blades. Hawks was done dealing with the stragglers and went to help the flaming hero. He knew he didn't have nearly enough firepower on his feathers to hurt the Noumu effectively, but in a matter of speed, there was no match to him. So he would cover up for Endeavor's lack of speed.

"I'll give you a push with my feathers… I'll push you to the top, Endeavor!" Hawks used most of his feathers to propel the number one forward. Endeavor landed a solid punch through the creature's mouth, burning it from inside out. Then, another roar came from the thing and it blasted forward, dragging Endeavor along.

"That damn thing! Even though I burned his insides… the regeneration keeps recovering"

The Noumu assumed a monstrous form, warping its muscles in unnatural ways as it burned away. Its head lost the hood and the crazed eyes started at the hero it was fighting.

"More! Bring me… t-the strongest hero!"

Hawks landed on the roof of a building. Most of his feathers burned away and he used almost all he had to help Endeavor. Then, he heard a cry from the hero.

"HAWKS!" Endeavor shouted. "The modified Noumu… He's obsessed with power!"

At the dorms, one stood on the edge of his nerves.

"Father… while you are suffering and fighting… I am watching you!" The usually emotionless teen exclaimed, letting his feelings run wild and free.

The Winged hero looked up, trying to come up with something.

"My feathers are all used and burned! I can't help further!"

"HIGHER!"

And then Hawks understood. Up high in the sky above the city, he would be able to release his power without restrictions.

"Up! Go higher and higher…" Endeavor was on his limit. The heat was overwhelming and his body ached. The wounds that didn't have a piece of the Noumu's arms on them cauterized. He reached the maximum of his power. Hawks did it. With the last of his feathers, there was nothing else around them besides air.

"You are… what I could have been… in another future, or in the past…" The Flame hero said as they briefly floated in the air. "I'm going to burn you… and then you can rest"

"MORE… POWER!"

Two powerhouses facing each other. This was the last stretch, although the Noumu could probably recover with his overpowered regeneration if given the chance.

"I have always hated the school motto…" He took one deep breath in and roared in burning fury.

"PLUS ULTRA… PROMINENCE BURN!"

The flames once again lit the sky. It was like a blue Sun suddenly invaded the night, blinding the watchers with its intense light. Anyone nearby would have fainted with the heat emanating from it, so indeed, it was only possible because the city was out of range. As the fire stream died out, a ball of fumes plummeted to the floor, crashing on the streets. No signs of the black Noumu. Everyone halted their breathing in expectation.

"Endeavor!" Hawks ran to the crash site, and lo and behold, the man was actually getting up.

Amidst black smoke, dust, and debris, Endeavor stood on his feet, a little prone forward but still up. The right fist strongly raised as a sign of victory.

He's up! He's up! ENDEAVOOOOR!

The reporters covering the battle cheered as the crowds roared in excitement and relief.

He won! This is… his first victory pose as the Number One hero!

Maybe it was the unusual unleash of emotions, but Todoroki Shoto fell to his knees. Meanwhile, the Winged hero prevented the tower of a man from flopping on the floor face first.

"Hey, isn't that the same pose All Might used?"

"He uses… the left arm… I raised another one..."

"Really? I didn't know. Thanks for saving the day, Number One"

"It was a failure. The start was a mess…"

"Well, sorry to disappoint but… this one was a huge win, definitely"

As the two battle heroes walked away, rather, Hawks carried Endeavor, a voice caught their attention. Someone got in their way.

"That was quite the show… Endeavor"

Blue flames surrounded the two heroes. Just when the fight was over, another one has started.

"You are… the criminal who killed Snatch… Dabi, from the League of Villains!" The flame hero recognized the signature flames.

"I have to admit, I was kind of expecting you to be dead by now, but… you're really a cool hero, aren't you…?" The man with scarred skin said as he set his hands ablaze.

"So the modified Noumu was… your doing?" Endeavor could barely keep one eye open, but he was already trying to get up in a fight stance.

"Yeah, we kind of had to take a test drive. I didn't need to come here at all but look at what my precaution brought me... I'll take two pro heroes from the top 10 for free!" Dabi said as he prepared to hurl some fire blasts. But in the last moment, an object came crashing near him, forcing the villain to step back. A boulder or some huge piece of concrete fell from the sky. Rather, it was aimed at him.

Behind the wall of flames he created, a blonde woman stood with an impressive height of 20m. Mt. Lady just tossed some of the debris. She didn't care if that would be fatal because the lives of the top 2 heroes were on the line, and this villain was really dangerous.

"Tch, guess we have some unwanted guests. Well, let's call it a day. We'll definitely meet again… Todoroki Enji!" Dabi said with a crazy grin as he stepped back"

"Wait up! I know you!" The villain turned to another voice and he had to duck and roll away as a woman with rabbit ears flew past him, crushing a wall she hit instead. The hits Miruko took definitely messed with her aim a little. "You're one of the idiots from the League of Villains, right?! Don't think you'll go anywhere before I give you a serious beating!" She said, getting ready for another jump dash.

"Until next time… Number One…" The villain said as a pitch-black tar started to spit from his mouth and surround his body. It was that teleporting Quirk again.

The rabbit hero aimed a descending kick at him but Dabi vanished just in time for her to miss, hitting the floor and sinking her foot in the black mud that was left. And by the heavens, that thing stinks. Growling as she once again got covered with slimy substances of dubious origin, Miruko turned around to the two heroes.

"Hey, this guy is from the same group involved in the Hosu incident and the attack at U.A, right?"

The figure of the number one hero slowly got on his knees as he struggled to keep his eyes open. It was over, for now.

At the 1-A dorms, the young heroes in training breathed out in relief as the crisis got solved. Some were still around Todoroki to make sure he was doing fine. Aizawa came running when he saw on the news and soon the teen's phone started to ring as his older sister called. The news showed that Endeavor would be taken to a hospital for treatment and Todoroki was asked if he wanted to go there too, but he politely refused. Maybe later on…

A little bit aside from the small crowd, Midoriya watched Todoroki with concern. Now he really felt that he wanted to talk, but then something else got his attention. The annoying blonde stood behind the couch, staring at the screen as if the battle was still going. Himiko had… a worried look in her face? The villain Dabi appeared. Could she know something about it? Even with all this time away from the League? How far were they planning ahead then? The green teen approached her thinking of asking those questions, and then the girl turned to him as if sensing his intentions.

"No one contacted me, if that's what you're thinking, Izuku," Himiko said, her eyes returning to the screen.

"... Did you know about that modified Noumu?" He inquired with seriousness. Himiko simply lifted her shoulders.

"Eh, Shigaraki-kun wanted to stock them like crazy but these ones are hard to get. You remember the one with laser eyes, right?"

Of course, he remembered. It almost was the death of him. The investigations at the deactivated power plant didn't earn any relevant info on what the League was planning, and Himiko said that her knowledge of the plans was limited, more because she wasn't listening to it all the time. But one thing she knew for sure, the white-haired villain was preparing a big play, as he would say. Whatever it was, it probably had something to do with the modified black Noumu Endeavor fought. This was the third one of its kind and it posed a much bigger threat than they expected.

. . .

The overall mood was one of positiveness. The pro heroes would all work even harder to keep the legacy All Might left as solid as ever. However, to the green-haired teen, a shadow lurked right behind his neck. And amidst these thoughts, Midoriya failed to notice someone talking to him.

"... Midoriya"

"Uh? Eh? T-Todoroki-kun?"

The half-hot-half-cold teen approached him as he was outside catching some fresh air. He ended spacing out while looking up at the stars.

"Are you busy?" Todoroki asked him.

"Oh, not really. Do you need anything?"

"Actually, there's something I wanted to ask you," He said, not looking directly at the emerald child for a while. Then, taking a deep breath and reinforcing his resolve, Todoroki focused on Midoriya's face, making the green-haired teen flinch a little. "... Do you think someone can change?"

"Eh…?"

The question was so vague in this context, Midoriya didn't have any idea of what to make out of it. How should he answer that? Change in relation to what, exactly? Hold up, was he talking about his father? Todoroki never shared it to the full extent but over time, Midoriya understood his friend had a complex relationship with the pro hero. That was even more evident after the unexpected display of emotions aside from cold hatred. So was he asking about that? And why ask Midoriya?

"Sorry, I think this is too broad," Todoroki might have noticed the lost look in Midoriya's face. "Do you think one can change itself and be someone different?"

Well, he was definitely talking about his father now. Endeavor wasn't exactly the best reference when it came to public appearance. Unlike All Might, who had natural charisma, the flame hero was much less prone to interact with the masses. He had his fanbase, sure, but it wasn't nearly as large as the former Number One's, and now he had to kind of fill the role. The green teen knew all too well the pressure of having to cover a gap so big, being the successor of One for All. Did the pro hero also feel that way too or was it beneath him with all the years of experience?

Regardless, Todoroki might be talking from a more personal perspective, which only made it harder to answer. How was he supposed to say if he didn't know how Endeavor was beside his hero facade? It was kind of a stretch to think all the pros behaved the same way while in the job and in their personal lives. So Midoriya resorted to making a comparison. Someone that changed drastically over time, or was at least trying to. He had to know at least someone. Well, unfortunately, he knew someone too much for his own liking…

"... I think that… if this person really wants to change, she… this person will try hard to make it happen. Sometimes, even that isn't enough because it is hard to modify ourselves in some aspects. But… yes, I think it is possible" Midoriya didn't know how much of his own words he was willing to believe in. Accepting it as truth was also accepting her words. But he felt Todoroki needed to hear a positive answer, and Midoriya wasn't saying this just to make his friend feel better.

He really thought that Endeavor could be a more accepted hero, just like All Might, and he also believed that whatever was this feud between the Todoroki father and son, it could be solved too. What made Midoriya uncomfortable was how close it got to his own situation with Himiko.

"I see… it is hard for me to accept it but… I feel that I have to believe in it. Otherwise, I won't be able to make peace with myself," Todoroki said, back at his neutral and contemplative expressions. "Do you feel the same, Midoriya?"

"Me? ...About what?"

The hot and cold teen hesitated for a second. Should he also address this matter? Well, since he came all the way here to make a personal question…

"Toga Himiko. Do you think that she, a villain, could change? She sure acts like she is trying to push the past away" There, he said with all words. Midoriya honestly didn't know. He had run these thoughts so many times on his head already, and each new iteration added new possibilities, more questions, layers over layers of mixed signals that the blondie emanated.

Sighing in defeat for his own thoughts, Midoriya decided to be honest with his friend since they were opening up a little to each other. The experience of sharing these thoughts was new to him and to the half-hot-half-cold boy alike.

"I don't know for sure. Himiko, she… I used to think that there was at least some good inside everyone, but that can't be always true," He took another breath in before continuing. "Part of me really wants to see what she would look like if she wasn't… herself. And the other part simply knows she is a villain and will always be. The problem is, I'm not sure if this is a fair way of thinking, not anymore. About her… I'm not sure of anything"

Telling this to someone besides the voice in his head was more taxing than he expected, but it also had a different sense of relief. Not that he disregarded his talks with Nana, but it was like he removed a weight from his chest. And to Midoriya's surprise, the gesture of trust was well received. Todoroki placed a hand on his shoulder, getting his attention.

"I cannot say I know what you're going through, Midoriya, but I think we both need to come to terms with ourselves. And if you need help, umm, I'll try to do something"

From a socially awkward teen to another, the message was delivered with success.

"T-thanks, Todoroki-kun. If you need to talk again, I'm always here too" Midoriya said, managing to get a smile on his face. The two boys stood there in silence for a moment, looking at each other.

"Well, this is getting interesting. Didn't know you played on this team too, Izuku~" Nana teased him, and Midoriya had to hold himself so he didn't react externally.

"N-Nana-san!"

"Hahaha, relax kid, I'm just joking. Though I wonder if you wouldn't be curious about some… different experiences~"

"I'll pass, thank you," He internally answered, clearly flustered.

The two boys were still in front of each other in absolute silence, and since Todoroki wasn't showing any signs of moving, it was up to Midoriya to defuse this situation. Little did he know, Todoroki was also at a "what now?" state behind the usual neutral face.

"Why… why don't we go back inside? It's kinda cold here, honestly" Midoriya said. That was a valid excuse.

"The cold doesn't bother me, anyway," At least Todoroki let go of his shoulder, turning to look at the night sky.

"Still, I think everyone is still worried about you, Todoroki-kun"

"There is no need, really. It was my old man fighting there, and he won. That's all" Yet another awkward moment of silence. "But… he was pretty cool, right?"

If Midoriya was one more step away, he would have missed the last part.

"Yeah, it was really cool"

And with that, both boys returned inside the dorms. The only problem was that when they went to open the door, Midoriya noticed it was slightly ajar and then he saw one yellow cat-like eye peeking through. A giggle followed. Pushing the door, he saw none other than Himiko, barely hiding her smile.

"My, my, Izuku. I didn't know you had a thing for pretty boys too~"

"S-shut up, will you?!"

End of Chapter

So, how about that, huh? Actually, this chapter had many purposes. One was to work on the bonds between the girls, as I sense this is walking to a big family more and more. Another one was a small warm-up for the next "arc" thing, as well as some setup. And there is some storyline localization too. I'm going to say it here, looking back I just realized my timeline is a huge mess. I got carried away with the passing of time, and the major events, and the smut too, so I overlooked that detail. And being the responsible author I am... I'll ignore that (to the best of my abilities, as it definitely gets on my nerves). Maybe in the future, I'll make some kind of rerun of the first chapters and get some things fixed, I don't know.

Anyway, time for some shameless advertising here. I recently joined a Discord server caller Extalia. If you write or wanna chat with other authors or just hang around: (discord . gg / V54pcwA). I drop by there regularly. Okay, the ads zone is over. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter. It was a very subtle adaptation of the og fight, I know, but I aimed to at least make it some justice. As always, thanks for taking the time to read this and for all the follows/favorites (it is still a little embarrassing!). Leave a review if you feel like and until the next chapter. See ya~
