Chapter 1 "The Italian Hero".
Mushroom kingdom
It was a sunny day in the mushroom kingdom, the toads were walking around, some talking to each other, others walking quietly in the neighborhood, the big city of the kingdom was very busy as usual.
-Character analysis-
Toads - the loyal servants of the princess of the kingdom, most can be found in the city of the kingdom, although many like to go out to explore and you can find a toad in places you least expect it, even in space!
Some Toads began posting leaflets on the walls of buildings in a nearby square when a real car pulled up in the middle of the square and out came a yellow toad with glasses and a megaphone.
¨inhabitants of the mushroom kingdom, I remind you that this weekend we celebrate the 5th anniversary of the rescue of our princess from the hand of the evil king koopa'' as he said this the toads present cheered loudly.
Hehehe, yes I share your enthusiasm so let's get to work to make sure everything is perfect for this important event¨ he finished speaking as the other Toads clapped again while some went back to what they were doing, but before the toad went back into his royal chariot, suddenly the earth began to tremble and explosions began to be heard in the distance the toads began to panic as a large explosion destroyed the wall surrounding the city and goombas and Koopas began to enter marching destroying everything in their path, several ships suddenly appeared on the horizon all began to shoot bullets Bill towards the inhabitants of the kingdom.
-Character analysis-
Goombas - the most loyal henchmen King Kooopa has, they will do whatever it takes to accomplish any mission, although their efforts are ...deplorable at best.
Koopas - are another of King Koopa's minions, they are more versatile than Goombas, but still just as inept, I mean most of the time they just walk back and forth.
Bullet Bill - is another henchman of King Koopa, well "henchmen" I don't know how conscientious a bullet can be, seriously they are the equivalent of you throwing your brother or even a family member to your enemy.
The destruction of the kingdom continued unabated as they smashed their way through the houses and toads that were in their path, as the koopas and Goombas were wreaking havoc suddenly toads all dressed as police officers arrive on the scene one of them pulls out a megaphone.
¨Stop right there in the name of the princess you are under arrest for assaulting citizens, destroying private property and violating noise laws, ¿anything to say in your defense? ¨ he said while staring at the group of Goombas and Koopas that were in front of them, the King Koopa's minions stopped and stared at the armada of Toads and then at each other and burst out laughing.
O-you heard that Jimmy this fool thinks he's going to stop us," said one of the koopas.
Yes, how stupid, please, giant baby, you think we are afraid of you," said Jimmy the Koopa.
Giant baby" whispered in disbelief the police chief toad as he watched them continue to mock him and his fellow police officers gritted his teeth and shouted "Laugh now, but you will suffer under the wrath of the Toads, plan B boys, Maneuver C now!" he shouted to his fellow officers.
Yes sir" they answered and with agility they got down to work with the plan, they began to draw guns while they surrounded the koopas and Goombas, but instead of aiming at them they shot upwards and from the bullets a huge net fell on the koopa king's henchmen capturing them all.
¨jajah who is he baby, now?¨ laughed the police chief as he watched his work, when he felt a blow on his back ¨what's going on corporal don't you see I'm watching me-¨ he was interrupted as he saw more Koopas surrounding his men and freeing all the ones they captured. ¨oh that's a problem¨ he said as he staggered and stumbled and fell backwards as he watched the enemies approaching, he closed his eyes expecting the worst.
But he felt nothing and heard noises and knocks when there was silence, he opened his eyes slowly and gave a cry of surprise: "Mario, you're here! ¨
Mario turned and gave him a thumbs up ¨Everything will be fine, I'll take care of these ruffians, you go and make sure everyone else is okay, yes? ¨ said Mario with a smile on his face and turned and ran towards his enemies without waiting for an answer from the Toad as he headed towards the Koopas and Goombas who were looking at Mario with terror in their eyes.
"It can't be, ¡is Mario! " shouted a Goomba.
" ¡Everyone run!" shouted a koopa before being crushed by Mario.
¨I'm sorry, but for causing trouble and attacking my friends and my city, you are not going anywhere¨ said Mario confidently.
-Character analysis-
Mario - He is the Hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, always saving the princess of the kingdom, has had many adventures over the years along with his friends and is also Italian...or from Brooklyn depending on who you ask.
Mario kept moving towards the koopas and Goombas, attacking, dodging and knocking down all the enemies in front of him with no problem whatsoever.
"Wow, this is being easier than usual" thought Mario as he jumped and knocked down a group of koopas in front of him, a group of goombas started to run towards Mario from behind, but Mario jumped backwards and dodged them and landed on top of all of them crushing him one by one.
Mario was interrupted when he was surprised by several Bill bullets that fell from the sky making him fall to the ground and his vision was covered by smoke, when the smoke cleared Mario looked up surprised and saw several ships along the sky and were heading towards the princess's castle.
"Those are Bowser's ships, I must go stop him now" Mario thought as he got up and ran at full speed towards the castle, while Mario was approaching the castle he heard a voice speaking in the distance.
¨Wahaha, the time has come for you inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom, your new King is here, all hail Bowser, the next king of the Mushroom Kingdom and his future wife Princess Peach¨ was heard from the spokesmen of the ships in the sky.
"Of course Bowser is here, I have to stop him from getting to the princess," thought Mario in alarm as he rushed towards the castle.
Meanwhile inside the flagship fleet was Bowser together with Kammy Koopa and Kamek sitting on the throne while watching the screen of the events happening in the village.
¨ja, those fools didn't see it coming, very soon the kingdom and the princess will be mine only mine forever¨ exclaimed Bowser while laughing loudly.
-Character analysis-
Bowser - King of the Koopas, His dream has always been to conquer the mushroom kingdom and get out of the friendzone by conquering Princess Peach, he has been trying for a long time, but his plans are always ruined by Mario and his friends, seriously he has been trying even before kidnapping princesses was a new thing.
Next to him approaches Kammy Koopa, a koopa already of advanced age and wearing a purple hat with a purple tunic, approaches Bowser and hits him in the head with his magic wand.
"Your Highness, what have I told you to shout so loudly when you talk, boy!" she said angrily while shouting at Bowser.
-Character analysis-
Kammy Koopa - A wizard from ancient times and Bowser's right-hand woman, she is said to be the mastermind behind Bowser's plans...But don't ask her how old she is or you'll end up turned to stone.
As Bowser clutched his head in pain Kamek ran over while screaming:
"¡Mother!" exclaimed Kamek as he went and stood between Bowser and her mother, "How dare you talk to the majestic king like that? have some respect, you crazy old woman!" she shouted in exasperation.
-Character analysis-
Kamek - Daughter of Kammy, she followed in her mother's footsteps and became an equal magician, she is one of Bowser's high commanders and has served him all her life and also served as a nanny when the king was a baby.
"what 'Your highness' should do is to improve his manners, you really didn't teach him anything I taught you, did you? ¨ said Kammy furious towards her daughter.
"He is your King, ¡you should be more respectful!"
" ¡Don't raise your voice to me girl!"
" ¡Silence! " Bowser roared loudly at the two mages, as he turned his attention back to the screen as he saw the castle approaching in the distance.
"Go make preparations, we are already arriving at the castle" said Bowser as he got up from the throne and headed for the deck of the ship, but before leaving the door he turned and looked at both wizards.
"And for the love of God stop yelling like you two are some rabid Chain Chomp" with that said he walked out the door as mother and daughter stood watching the door where Bowser had exited.
The princess was walking hurriedly through the halls of the castle wearing a pink dress and her crown on her head while being followed by a brown toad with glasses and a mustache, who was running at full speed behind the young girl.
"Princess I think you should think about this for a moment, I mean you should be evacuating, let Mario take care of this" said the toad nervously as he walked behind the princess.
"Toadsworth, please we've already talked about this, I'm not going to hide this time" said the princess calmly as she entered the main hall and headed towards the stairs that led her to a balcony in front of the castle.
-Character analysis-
Toadsworth - One of the oldest toads in the Kingdom, although he carries a title as a Royal butler, he has become more of a father figure to the princess and an advisor to the Kingdom.
"But it's dangerous, Bowser could capture you again" said toadsworth nervously as he stood next to the princess on the balcony "Bowser's ship could be here any mom-" but he was interrupted by the princess.
"it's too late to run, his ship is already here" said the princess calmly as she watched the large ship approach towards the castle.
"you should run while you can, go with the others" said the princess as she continued to watch the approaching ship.
"if you stay behind I'll stay with you Peach" said Toadsworth with a slightly nervous smile.
"Thank you, you're a good friend" peach said with a smile as she looked at Toadsworth.
-Character analysis-
Princess Peach - The queen of the mushroom kingdom, she rules her loyal Toads by being kind and understanding to her subjects, she is said to be very much in love with Mario since the moment he rescued her some time ago, and she likes to race and play Mario Party.
A rumbling sound was heard and Peach looked ahead again to see Bowser's ship land in front of the castle and a large gate opened from which a group of Koopas emerged and lined up on either side of the gate as they gave a military salute.
Then both Kamek and Kammy flew out the door on their magic brooms, Kamek summoned a microphone in his hand, but before he could speak Kammy beat him to it and said with a megaphone in his hand.
"Toads of the mushroom kingdom, welcome your new king, lord and master, King Bowser of the Koopas" he said as the lined up Koopas clapped and shouted excitedly.
Bowser came out of his ship looking imposing as always while walking his vision was fixed on Princess Peach, Bowser stops in the middle of the courtyard while the koopas continue clapping, kamek raises his wand and the koopas stop clapping... all but one who continues clapping enthusiastically, Bowser stares at him and he stops and shrinks in fear and stops clapping, after this Bowser looks at the princess and speaks.
"You don't know how long I have waited for this moment" he says with a big smile 'it's time for the rightful king to take place what belongs to him' as he approached the castle.
¨You don't own anything Bowser, leave my kingdom now and we won't hurt you and your minions¨ says Peach defiantly as she jumped off the balcony and landed floating elegantly in the garden in front of Bowser, while looking him defiantly in the eyes.
"Princess, what are you doing?" said Toadsworth worried.
Peach did not respond as she and Bowser stared into each other's eyes, before anyone could say or do anything, a noise was heard and Mario entered the scene running at top speed and came between Bowser and Peach.
"Mario!?" said Peach surprised.
"Well, look who's here, the little plumber, I thought it was strange that you weren't here waiting for me" said Bowser while he looked at Mario and gave a snort.
"Bowser go back to where you came from if you do not want to suffer defeat once again," said Mario as he stood in battle pose, looking at the princess he spoke to her.
¨Peach I'll take care of everything, don't worry, okay?¨ he said confidently and looked at Bowser again.
"She's not going anywhere, the party's just getting started," said Bowser as he laughed and folded his arms.
Mario deciding not to wait any longer rushed towards Bowser ready to fight and end this once and for all, but before anyone could react or say anything, a white light enveloped Bowser, Mario and Peach mowing down the others present, when the light faded there was no trace of them, everyone looked confused at what had happened.
¨what you did inept of a Daughter¨ Kammy shouted out loud in confusion.
"Why do you assume it was my fault? I didn't do anything, witch!" replied Kamek, just as confused as her mother.
While everyone was confused, no one noticed a dark figure with red eyes floating in the distance summoned a small device with black magic in his hand and a hologram emerged from the device and a voice was heard.
"Well, did you find the fighters and the object the master is looking for? said the voice.
"No, the hands got to them first, as for the object, we still have no knowledge of its location," the figure replied neutrally and robotically.
"Well, hurry up, the less time we take the better, don't disappoint the master" said the voice once again and the hologram disappeared.
The figure puts the device away and stares at Bowser's minions who were in the castle, then looks at the Horizon and flies away unnoticed.
